Abstract

The development of the internet made the brand community move to online activities by using a social media chat group platform. This study aims to examine the relationship between social networking and brand trust on brand loyalty in the online brand community. Data were collected through a questionnaire of 150 respondents. Through SEM analysis (PLS), the results show that social networking has a positive effect on brand trust and trust mediates the relationship between social networking and brand. This finding implies that the brand community must pay attention to social networking activities that can increase brand trust and brand loyalty. Companies and communities need to think about how to develop strong relationships and bonds between members so that members feel the value of the brand and build a strong commitment with the brand. Abstract

Purpose- This study aims to examine the relationship between endorser type and endorser-brand suitability on attitudes towards endorsers, attitudes towards brands, attitudes towards advertising, and purchase intentions. Design/methodology/approach- Data were collected through an online questionnaire of 180 participants. The data analysis techniques used were MANOVA and SEM (PLS). Findings- There are significant differences in attitudes towards endorsers, brands, and advertisements from differences in endorser-brand suitability. There was no significant effect of using endorsers with celebrity types and Instagram influencers on attitudes towards endorsers, brands, and advertisements. Attitudes towards endorsers and brands have a positive effect on purchase intentions. Implication- Companies should pay attention and conduct in-depth research on endorsers that match the brand image. Abstract

ABSTRACT   The development of technology and the internet makes the brand community proliferate by using online media known as online-based brand communities, whose reach is getting wider. This study discusses members' benefits when interacting in community chat groups. When members feel the benefits, members will have a solid commitment to the community and encourage brand loyalty. This research will use the SONY APLHA photography community. The sample was taken from as many as 186 respondents are community members who are members of WhatsApp and Telegram chat groups. The analytical tool used is SMART PLS 3.0. The research findings explain that not all benefits obtained by community members can create a commitment to the community. Only hedonic and social benefits have a positive effect on member commitment. Community commitment positively impacts brand loyalty because members continue to be involved in the brand community. This research has implications for brand community managers to pay attention to activities that support benefits for members because it will create member commitment to continue to survive in the community.ABSTRAK Berkembangnya teknologi dan internet membuat komunitas merek berkembang dengan pesat dengan menggunakan media online yang dikenal sebagai komunitas merek berbasis online yang jangkauannya semakin luas. Penelitian ini membahas manfaat yang dirasakan anggota ketika berinteraksi di grup chat komunitas. Ketika anggota merasakan manfaatnya, anggota akan memiliki komitmen yang kuat terhadap komunitas dan mendorong loyalitas merek. Penelitian ini akan menggunakan komunitas fotografi SONY APLHA. Sampel yang diambil sebanyak 186 responden merupakan anggota komunitas yang tergabung dalam grup chat WhatsApp dan Telegram. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah SMART PLS 3.0. Temuan penelitian menjelaskan bahwa manfaat yang diperoleh anggota komunitas tidak semua dapat menciptakan komitmen terhadap komunitas hanya manfaat hedonis dan sosial berpengaruh positif terhadap komitmen anggota. Komitmen komunitas berpengaruh positif terhadap loyalitas merek karena anggota terus terlibat di komunitas merek. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi bagi pengelola komunitas merek untuk meperhatikan aktivitas yang mendukung manfaat bagi anggota karena akan menciptakan komitmen anggota agar terus bertahan di dalam komunitas.

Abstract

Objective: Companies are realizing the potential of the online brand community to increase consumer relationships. Online Brand community keeps customers using the company's products through all community activities. This study investigates the effect of the activity in the online brand community on value co-creation practices to create brand trust and brand loyalty. Design/Methods/Approach: An online survey was conducted by distributing a questionnaire among 319 members of an online brand community. The collected data was analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Findings: Online brand communities influence value co-creation practices (social networking, community engagement, impression management, and brand use). In this study, social networking and impression management influence brand trust and brand loyalty. However, community engagement and brand use do not affect brand trust. The role of brand trust affects the creation of brand loyalty in online brand community members. Originality/Value: This study examines the effect of value co-creation practices in online brand communities on brand trust and brand loyalty in brand communities found in one country with a high collectivity level. Not all community value co-creation activities have the effect of creating brand trust due to conditions within the community. Practical/Policy implication: The practical implication is to guide marketers to pay attention to some value co-creation activities in online brand communities that can create brand trust in brand communities with a high culture of collectivity. Companies understand the dynamics of online brand communities and relevant strategies in high collectivity cultures, as well as leveraging the potential of social networks while overcoming the challenges posed by the abundance of information on the internet.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Word of Mouth, kualitas pelayanan, dan promosi terhadap keputusan pembelian produk IDEALIFE di Toko Garden Plastic. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara menyebar kuesioner kepada 120 responden. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel dengan teknik Accidental Sampling. Alat analisis menggunakan SPSS 16.0 melalui tahapan sebagai berikut : Uji Instrument, Uji Asumsi Klasik, dan Regresi Linear Berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan (1) Variabel word of mouth tidak berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian produk IDEALIFE di Toko Garden Plastic. (2) Variabel kualitas pelayanan tidak berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian produk IDEALIFE di Toko Garden Plastic. (3) Variabel promosi memiliki pengaruh positif signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian produk IDEALIFE di Toko Garden Plastic. (4) Variabel word of mouth, kualitas pelayanan, dan promosi secara simultan berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian produk IDEALIFE di Toko Garden Plastic.

Abstract

This study is to measure the influence of Word of Mouth (WOM), cost, and product quality of customer’s decision in Podo Makmur Sejati Company. In finding out the main factor of customer’s decision in buying slipper in Podo Makmur Sejati Company. The population of this thesis is customer of Podo Makmur Sejati Company. The sample of this thesis is 129 respondents. The method of taking sample used purpose random sampling technique which the sample taken by random with spesific regulation. The data calculated by SPSS 25 program and the steps are instrument test, classic assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, hypotesis test, coefficient determination test (R2). The result of this thesis by Word of Mouth (WOM) partial, cost, and quality of product which gave significant positive impact in customer’s decision. In this thesis, the cost is main influential variable in customer’s decision with the result value of T as 5,496. Podo Makmur Sejati. Guna untuk mengetahui faktor manakah yang paling dominan terhadap keputusan pembelian sandal di PT. Podo Makmur Sejati. Populasi dari penelitian ini ialah pembeli PT. Podo Makmur Sejati. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 129 responden. Metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan Teknik purpose random sampling dimana sampel diambil secara acak dengan persyaratan khusus. Untuk menghitung data yang diolah yaitu dengan bantuan program SPSS 25 dan tahapan yang dilakukan ialah Uji Instrumen, Uji Asumsi Klasik, Analisis regresi linear berganda, Uji Hipotesis, dan Uji Koefisien Determinasi (R2). Hasil dari penelitian ini ialah secara parsial Word Of Mouth (WOM), harga, dan kualitas produk berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian, sedangan secara simultan Word Of Mouth (WOM), harga, dan kualitas produk juga berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian. Dalam penelitian ini harga merupakan variabel yang berpengaruh paling dominan terhadap keputusan pembelian yaitu dengan hasil nilai T tabel sebesar 5,496. Kata Kunci: WOM, Harga, Kualitas Produk, Keputusan Pembelian

Abstract

Kampung DARLINK BERSERI adalah program pengabdian yang dilaksanakan di Karang Menjangan 02/27 Kelurahan Mojo, Kecamatan Gubeng, Kota Surabaya, yang bertujuan untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang bersih dan sehat. Program ini fokus pada RW 7 RT 2, dengan melibatkan warga dalam menanam tanaman dan mengelola sampah melalui bank sampah di setiap rumah. Bank sampah ini memfasilitasi pemisahan sampah organik dan non-organik, yang kemudian diolah menjadi produk bernilai guna seperti miniatur atau ikon Kota Surabaya. Implementasi program dilakukan melalui observasi langsung dan diskusi dengan pihak Kelurahan Mojo, tokoh masyarakat, serta calon mitra untuk mengidentifikasi potensi masalah dan kebutuhan. Tantangan utama yang dihadapi adalah bagaimana PKK di Kelurahan Mojo dapat mengelola sampah secara efektif. Sebagai bagian dari solusi, Ecobrick diperkenalkan untuk mengatasi dalam penumpukan sampah yang tidak dipakai keterampilan baru bagi PKK. terkait Investasi Sampah yang berkonsep Kampung DARLINK BERSERI di Kelurahan Mojo Kecamatan Gubeng Kota Surabaya menunjukkan bahwa tekonologi digital dapat meningkatkan efektivitas pengelolaan sampah di kawasan urban. Teknologi ini memungkinkan pemantauan yang lebih baik dan pemisahan sampah yang lebih efisien, sehingga meningkatkan efektivitas sistem pengelolaan sampah serta mengurangi dampak kesalahan dalam proses pengumpulan dan pengolahan.

Abstract

Objective: The COVID-19 pandemic has encouraged people to adopt healthier lifestyles, yet available information remains scarce. Marketers often utilize advertising to educate the public, but ads must be engaging to capture attention. Therefore, this study seeks to examine how the content and sources of advertisements influence attitudes toward vegan food using the S-O-R Theory. Design/Methods/Approach: This study conducts experiments on social media apps, manipulating vegan food ads across different designs and endorsers using a 2x2 factorial design between subjects with 160 participants. It utilizes vegan meat as a stimulus and conducts manipulation checks before distributing questionnaires. Findings: The findings indicate that classical aesthetics are more effective in shaping attitudes toward vegan food advertising. Consumers purchase vegan food to maintain their health, and by using classical aesthetics, consumers perceive the food as healthier. Originality/Value: Previous research on vegan food has focused on various aspects such as values, claims, motivation, and ideologies. In contrast, this study explores how vegan food ads positively influence consumer attitudes, with unique visual aesthetics findings in these advertisements. Practical/Policy Implication: Marketers must focus on visual aesthetics and choose suitable endorsers for effective vegan food ads, shaping positive consumer attitudes and purchase intentions.

Abstract

This research was conducted to find out how digital marketing performs on sales conversion rates and customer return rates for PT XYZ products on Shopee in 2022. The data collection method and technique used in this research is secondary data analysis (ADS). The analysis tools used are Google Spreadsheet and Google Studio. The results of this research state that the sales conversion performance value and customer return rate of PT. XYZ is good. The role of digital marketing in sales conversion rates and return customer rates is very much needed by companies. Keywords: Conversion Rate, customer return rates, digital marketing Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana performa digital marketing terhadap tingkat konversi penjualan dan tingkat pelanggan kembali produk PT. XYZ di Shopee tahun 2022. Metode dan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis data sekunder (ADS).
