This research focuses on fundamental and macroeconomic conditions in the formation of stock returns as an empirical test on signaling theory, capital structure theory, and prospect theory. The research sample is companies listed on the BEI property sector with a total of 17 companies that meet the criteria of purposive sampling. The analysis technique uses panel data regression with random effects. The results showed simultaneously that financial performance and macroeconomic factors affect stock returns. The partial test shows that profitability and capital structure do not affect stock returns, while PBV and macroeconomic factors have a positive effect on stock returns. In addition, GDP is the dominant factor affecting stock returns. The implications of this study refer to investors in determining investment strategies, for management in managing companies and for regulators in making economic policy decisions. The aim of the study is to determine the effect of work discipline on the performance of employees.The type of research used is explanatory research with a quantitative approach. The sample in this study was 40 respondents using convenience sampling techniques. Respondents in the sample were civil servants in the Sub Directorate of Civil Service Archives II.B at the Jakarta State Civil Service Agency. The findings in this study indicate that there is an influence of work discipline on performance. This is indicated by the results of the calculation of the correlation coefficient of r = 0.823. The results of this study are strengthened by the results of the calculation of the coefficient of determination which proves that the variable work discipline has a significant effect of 67.8%, while the remaining 32.2% is influenced by other factors that do not count in this study.

This research aims to analyze the dynamic correlation by using stock prices daily data of 6 ASEAN equity markets during the period of 2007 until 2017 and then try to analysis the interdependence between markets. Empirical research using a Dynamic Conditional Correlation shows that there is a strong correlation in the countries of Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore; While correlation is still weak for Viet Nam. The study results also show from AR (1) and GARCH (1,1) model that the country of Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Viet Nam have return period t equations is influenced significantly by return lag period before. It can be seen that all the countries of ASEAN 6 have variance period t equations is influenced significantly by the variance to previous period lag and lag error previous period lag. This is consistent with the time-varying volatility which indicates the persistence of very high volatility of stock return. The study result also shows that the interdependence between ASEAN 6 stock market seems still in high volatility, and the progress of correlation between the stock market did not have any significant leap as expected from the ASEAN Economic Community.

The main purpose of the research is to examine the influence of capital expenditure and economic growth on the human development index (HDI) in Kotawaringin Timur Regency from the period of 2009-2017. The research approach is quantitative descriptive by using secondary data collected from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) Kotawaringin Timur Regency. The method used in this study is multiple linear regression using the IBM SPSS version 25.0 application. The results show that partially, capital expenditure took effect positively and significantly, toward HDI, economic growth took effect positively significantly toward HDI. Simultaneously, capital expenditure and economic growth took effect positively and significantly toward HDI. This finding implies the importance of government expenditure on public sectors can stimulate economic growth that provides access to the poor in productive sectors that can increase their well-being. This study aim to determine the implementation of CSR programs and measure the effectiveness of implementing CSR in building the brand image of PT. Telkomsel Bengkulu branch. Data collection methods used are the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed the implementation of the CSR program can improve communication and good relations between the company, the community, and its stakeholders. Besides, the implementation of CSR is considered useful in building the brand image. These implementations can be seen from the lack of conflicts that occur between companies, communities and increasing sales volumes. CSR implemented by PT. Telkomsel Bengkulu also consistently helps the company's sustainable growth. The results of this study can provide information for companies to implement CSR programs because it can sustainably help the company's sustainability. Keywords: CSR; Brand Image

The purpose of this paper is to examine the impact of all variable intellectual capital (human capital, structural capital, and relational capital) on the competitive advantage through the mediating innovationsmall and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the Jombang area. Primary data was obtained from the 100 SME’s leader in Jombang. Hypothesis testing is done by using Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (SEM-PLS). The results of the study show that all variable intellectual capital (human capital, struktural capital, dan relational capital) have a positive and significant effect on improving SMEs’ competitive advantage.significant effect on improving SMEs’ competitive advantage. The results of this study also prove that innovation can mediate the relationship between all variable intellectual capital (human capital, structural capital, and relational capital) and SMEs’ competitive advantage. The objective of this study is to analyze the factors that can influence turnover intention. This research was conducted at the drug registration staff of pharmaceutical companies with seventy respondents who were carrying out their duties at BPOM. Three independent variables in this research namely job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and job stress were examined to determine their relationship with the dependent variable namely turnover intention. Regression analysis of the primary data obtained shows that job stress has a significant effect on the turnover intention of staff registering drugs to other pharmaceutical companies. Two other variables, namely job satisfaction and organizational commitment have no effect on turnover intention of staff registration drugs from pharmaceutical companies. Purpose- The study was conducted with the aim to determine the effect of profitability, asset growth, and leverage on dividend policy.Design/methodology/approach- The objects in this study are companies included in the calculation of the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) in a row during the study year, from 2014 to 2018. There were 14 companies selected as research samples, sample selection using purposive sampling method containing certain criteria in accordance with the needs of the research conducted. Data analysis was performed with the help of Microsoft Excel 2010 software and E-views 10. Panel data regression analysis was carried out in this study because it saw data types in the form of cross-sections and time series with a significance level of 5%.Findings- The test results obtained (1) Profitability explained by Return On Equity has a significant effect with a positive direction on dividend policy, (2) Asset Growth explained with Growth ratio does not significantly influence with a negative direction on dividend policy, and (3) Solvability as explained by Debt to Equity Ratio has a significant effect with a negative direction on dividend policy.Implications- The practical implications of the results of this study for managerial policy makers as dividends are expected to maintain and improve the company's financial performance and overall performance every period. This study aims to find the relationship between government policies in education and education performance in Sinjai District. The research method used is quantitative research. The main data source comes from the publication of the Central Statistics Bureau (BPS) of Sinjai Regency and other publications related to writing. Analysis of the data used is quantitative descriptive. The results of the analysis show that government policies are very influential or have a positive relationship to improving educational performance. This study also shows that the performance of education in Sinjai District as seen from the Human Development Index (HDI) component in the last five years (2014-2018) has increased, although it is still slow. The still increase in HDI in Sinjai Regency requires the Regional Government to formulate various strategies, create programs and formulate policies that are truly able to accelerate the improvement of educational performance in the Sinjai Regency Keywords: Government Policy, Economy, Education Performance, HDI.

This study aims to examine the factors that influence Financial Distress. The research method used is quantitative with secondary data. The population of this research is the transportation companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2013-2017, with a sample of 10 companies and an analysis unit of 50 objects. Multiple Linear Regression is used for hypothesis testing. The results showed that liquidity, leverage, and company size had a positive and significant effect on financial distress, and profitability had a negative and significant effect on financial distress.
