Abstract

Innovation is very important for the competitive advantage of organizations to survive severe global competition and the rapidly changing business environment. Organizations or companies must be more innovative to grow, develop, and have competitive advantages and make profits. The success of innovation for the organization lies not only in the right decision to adopt innovation but more importantly in the implementation of innovation. Although there has been a lot of literature discussing innovation, it is still lacking which addresses the implementation of innovation. The present study aims to contribute to existing implementation literature by, first, the key factors of successful innovation implementation. Second, the process of implementing innovation. Third, the strategic aspect of the implementation of innovation. Fourth, discussing innovations that will be different at several levels or multi levels and types and social networks. Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to present a review of the empirical research of the Islamic work ethic (IWE) and its influence on business and management practices. This review summarizes the research on IWE from 2010 to 2017. Fifteen articles were selected during this period, resulting in two areas findings. First, the role of IWE on mainly HRM practices and work and individual related outcomes such as commitment, satisfaction, perceived justice, OCB, and turnover intention. In relation to the organizational context, IWE found to be positively related to innovation, and organizational performance. This paper can provide practitioners and academics with a better understanding of the concept of IWE, and its impact on individuals and organizations Keywords: Islamic work ethics, IWE

Abstract

The study aims to determine whether there is influence between lifestyle and income on purchasing decision of KBC helmet. This study uses a quantitative approach through a survey to 109 users of KBC helmet. Sampling method is non probability sampling. The results of the hypothesis (t test) showed that lifestyle variables significantly influence purchasing decisions. This is indicated by t arithmetic of 13.198 which is greater than t table.However, the income variable has no significant effect on purchase decision with t -0.508 which is smaller than t table. The conclusion from this study that lifestyle variables are most dominant on purchasing decisions.This can be interpreted that, increasing purchasing decisions can be supported by the lifestyle of people who always want to look trend and always keep up with the times. Abstract

This article is a summary of several journals that were rereviewed about the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Marketing Strategy. MSMEs are one of the leading driving forces in economic development and play a significant role in the economy. Economic players such as the owners of MSMEs now not only can produce a product, but also must adapt and implement technological developments into their economic activities. So that the marketing strategies of MSME owners become complex and numerous. The purpose of this study is to identify marketing strategies in the development of MSMEs. The data obtained is from the literature studies of existing journals as secondary data. The results obtained show that there are two strategies in the marketing of MSMEs which become priority strategies, namely: (1) The owner of MSMEs applies e-commerce to become a market leader, (2) The owners of MSMEs provide branding to emerge brand image of their products. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to understand the process of Teman Ahok community was formed, the political branding strategy of Basuki Tjahaja Purnama through new media, and their reasons using new media to spread political branding message. The method used was ethnography. Data collected by in-depth interview, observation, and literature study. The results showed, Teman Ahok founding process start from fantasy theme, fantasy chain, fantasy type, to rethorical visions. Political branding strategy used by Teman Ahok is string up brand value and brand culture, then doing segmenting, targeting, and positioning to perform image optimization and build public trust, and then communicate it by buzzing through new media. Teman Ahok using new media because it provides computer mediated communication, new ways of distributing and consuming message, the virtual realities, whole range transformation of media, and interactive communication with public. Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is influence between direct selling and social media through facebook to consumer buying interest in cigarettes sin herbs in Pesona Anggrek, Bekasi Utara. This study used an associative quantitative approach through a survey to 60 members. Sampling method is probability sampling by using simple random sampling. Hypothesis test results (t test) showed that the variables of direct selling and social media through facebook have a significant effect on buying interest. This is indicated by the absolute t value of direct selling and social media through facebook both bigger than t table that is equal to 2.002. The conclusion of this research that direct selling and social media through facebook each have an effect on buying interest. This can mean that, declining and increasing buying interest depends on how to apply direct selling system and social media through facebook effectively. Abstract

This study aims to compare financial performance through profitability generated by two market participants in the witness transportation service industry in Jakarta, namely PT. BB compared to PT. ETU, this assessment is measured not limited to the profit generated but more than that by measuring financial added value through the concept of Eonomic Value Added produced by the two companies. The population in this study were all taxi transportation service companies in Jakarta. The sampling method selected two taxi companies that have the largest market share in DKI Jakarta, namely BB Taxi and ETU Taxi. The test analysis used in this study is ratio analysis through profit calculation and economic added value from the annual income statement. This study shows that there are (a) determination of the ratio of profit levels, (b) Determination of the comparison of economic value added of the two companies. Abstract

One of kind base human life needed is healthy, between the supporting healthy factors either sports are filling the happiness so that can create the healthy of body and soul. In order to fill life needs for the comfortness and freshness is going to some recreation place. One of innovation that is developing is the combination of education and recreation. This study aims are to analyze the regression of educational content and recreational content on the interest of visiting and the effect on the visiting decision. By the results of this study found that the educational content and recreational content are hava significants affect on the interest of visiting, and the educational content also directly affect on the visiting decision, without going through by the process of the visiting interest. People can directly decide to visit because there are provide some educational content that has same neededs of their needed. Abstract

Nowadays the development of technology and the internet is progressing; with most people in Indonesia are already having smart phones and using the internet in their daily needs. No wonder the number of business opportunities that can be utilized, with the condition of almost all people are literate technologically, especially in big cities. This phenomenon promotes software education to be one of the business trends, and although it is a relatively new business, it is growing, in this case the business associated with PT. X which is one of the education software application companies that focuses on the field of education for the students from elementary schools to high schools/vocational schools. In this study, the researcher focus on the effects of product differentiation features in attracting students to buy the PT. X software applications. The result shows that the variable of Product Differentiation (X) has significant effect to purchase decision (Y). Abstract

The purpose of this research is to explain the influence of nonfinancial compensation, motivation and job satisfaction on employee performance of PT Bakrie Pipe Industries Bekasi partially and simultaneously. The research this use quantitative approach by using interview and questionnaire. The samples using purposive sampling technique with Slovin formula resulted 217 respondent samples. Data analysis used validity test, reliability test, multiple linear regression test. The result of the research found that: (1) Nonfinancial compensation has no significant effect on employee performance; (2) Motivation have significant effect on employee performance; (3) Job satisfaction have significant effect on employee performance; and (4) Nonfinancial compensation, motivation, and job satisfaction have significant effect on employee performance.
