Abstract

An employee's performance is basically the result of the employee performing his duties in accordance with the responsibilities assigned to him by the company. This is influenced by the company's remuneration and working environment, which can ultimately affect the performance of Radisson Hotels employees. The purpose of this study is to provide empirical evidence for the impact of compensation and working environment on employee performance at Radisson Hotel Lampung. The study population consisted of her 123 respondents. Based on the use of the Slovin formula for sampling, the author collected his 55 samples. The method used in this study is a quantitative method, and data analysis was performed using the validity test, reliability test, T test (partial), and F test (simultaneous) using the SPSS program. The results of this study support the hypothesis for which this study was proposed, namely that compensation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance and that work environment also has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. indicates that in addition, employee performance has a mutual influence between compensation and work environment.

Abstract

Although the iPhone brand is not among the best-selling smartphones in Indonesia, iPhone sales are still the highest in the world. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of brand image, product quality, and price on the iPhone purchase decisions of students of Faculty of Economics, Bandar Lampung University. A total of 79 student respondents were used as the sample for this quantitative study. Methods used include multiple regression, coefficient of determination, hypothesis testing (t-test and F-test). The results show that brand image and product quality have a positive impact on purchase decisions, while price has a negative impact on iPhone smartphone purchase decisions. The F-test results show that brand image, product quality, and price together have a significant impact on purchasing decisions. These three variables have 58% predictive power in iPhone brand purchasing decisions, with other factors influencing the remaining factors.

Abstract

Employee performance at PT. Telkomsel Bandar Lampung experienced a decline, indicated by a decrease in high performing employees and an increase in employees with poor performance. The decline in employee performance was in line with the decline in sales that did not meet the company's target. This research aims to analyze the effect of work motivation, work environment, and organizational culture on the employee performance of PT. Telkomsel Bandar Lampung. The population and sample used are 70 employees of PT. Telkomsel Bandar Lampung. Data were collected through a questionnaire and the technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. This study found that work motivation, work environment, and organizational culture have a significant influence on employee performance of PT. Telkomsel Bandar Lampung.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of online advertising on purchase decisions, the impact of brand image on purchase decisions, and the combined impact of online advertising and brand image on purchase decisions. The study should test her two independent variables: online advertising and brand image. The study population consisted of 100 respondents who ingested Kopi Kenangan Ruko Ahmad Yani in Bandar Lampung and was randomly selected using a random sampling method. Data was collected by questionnaire. The research methods used are multiple regression analysis and testing of validity, reliability, classical hypothesis testing, and hypothesis testing. Collected data was processed using SPSS version 25 software. The results showed that online advertising had a positive and significant impact on the decision to purchase Kopi Kenangan Ruko Ahmad Yani in Bandar Lampung. Brand image also has a positive and significant impact on the purchasing decisions of Kopi Kenangan Ruko Ahmad Yani of Bandar Lampung. In addition, online promotions and brands his image have a positive and significant impact on purchase decisions of Bandar his Lampung Kopi Kenangan Ruco Humad his Yani.

Abstract

Poverty still occurs among fishermen amid the abundance of wealth in Indonesia's marine resources, where the substantial coastal and marine potential has not improved the welfare of fishermen's lives. This study aims to determine the poverty level and analyze the factors that affect fishermen's income on the North Coast of Jakarta that cause poverty. This research was conducted in January – February 2023 through a survey with the selection of respondents using stratified-accidental sampling techniques. Respondents in this study amounted to 100 respondents who were taken proportionally at each level. This study's data processing and analysis techniques used poverty-level and multiple linear regression analyses. Based on the research results, the poverty level of fishermen on the North Coast of Jakarta, when compared to the Central Bureau of Statistics poverty line, 44 fishermen out of 100 have incomes below IDR 17.852,00/capita/day. In comparison, when compared to the World Bank poverty line, there are 71 fishermen out of 100 fishermen living below the World Bank poverty line because the income obtained is less than IDR 32.812,00/capita/day. The factors affecting fishermen's income on the North Coast of Jakarta that cause poverty are the size of the boat. In contrast, factors such as age, education level, and work experience do not affect fishermen's income, so these factors do not significantly affect the poverty of fishermen on the North Coast of Jakarta. Knowing that the variable size of the boat significantly affects fishermen's income on the North Coast of Jakarta, it is expected that the Government can provide facilities and infrastructure assistance in the form of boats with larger boat sizes and simplify the application mechanism in obtaining such assistance. So it is hoped that the help of this boat can increase catches for fishermen and increase the income and welfare of fishermen so that the poverty of fishermen on the North Coast of Jakarta can be reduced.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of profitability and leverage on earnings management in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2019-2021 period. The independent variables in this study are profitability (Return on Assets) and leverage (Debt Equity Ratio). The dependent variable in this study is earnings management as measured by decisional accruals. Through sample selection using purposive sampling method, a total of 35 companies were obtained as objects of research and a sample of 105 observations. The data analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis using the SPSS version 20 computer program. The results of this study indicate that profitability has a positive and significant effect on earnings management, while leverage has no effect on earnings management.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of profitability, company size and solvency on audit delay in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for 2019-2021. Data analysis techniques in this study used Descriptive Statistics, Classical Assumption Tests, Multiple Linear Regression Analysis Tests and Hypothesis Tests. Data processing in this study used the SPSS (Statistics Package for the Social Sciences) software version 20. The number of samples obtained from the data collected through observation in the year of the study were 126 samples taken using the purposive sampling method. The results showed that profitability had a negative and significant effect on audit delay, but firm size had a positive and significant effect on audit delay, while solvency had no effect on audit delay.

Abstract

Indonesian SMEs play an important role in employment and contribution to GDP. However, complex issues still hamper the progress and rise of SMEs. This research aims to explore the causes of these problems by focusing on management models in SMEs. The study uses qualitative methods through interviews, observations, and documentation. The research subject was UKM "Sembung Batik" in Kronprogo, Yogyakarta. We manufacture batik fabrics with letters and prints and develop fashion products with batik motifs. It is hoped that the results of this study will explain the relationship between the operating model implemented by Sembung Batik UKM and its operating performance. In this way, new management solutions and models can be developed that are more effective and efficient for improving the performance of small businesses. This study uses SWOT analysis as an indicator of performance evaluation and considers aspects of corporate governance such as manufacturing, marketing, finance, and human resources. The findings show that Sembung Batik UKM has significant development potential with increased assets, turnover and net profit. However, traditional management models with manual financial and production controls are still an obstacle. Low technology utilization in the areas of production, marketing, human resources, and accounting information systems also means that small businesses are not performing optimally. Efforts to increase income are possible through product diversification, hiring a creative workforce, using corporate accounting software, etc.

Abstract

The study aims to identify merit pay and labor discipline issues affecting employee performance in the Panjang district of Bandar Lampung. As a research method, descriptive and quantitative field research is used. Research data were collected through a questionnaire completed by 30 respondents. The study concluded that performance bonuses have a significant impact on employee performance, as indicated by the X1 significance level analysis. This is less than a value (0.000 1.984). Furthermore, work discipline also has a large effect on employee performance, with the X2 significance level being less than a value (0.259 1.984). Combining performance bonuses and work discipline affects employee performance, and the calculated Fcount of 23,336 is greater than the Ftable of 3,354. The research hypothesis is accepted. A correlation coefficient (r) of 0.796 indicates a valid relationship between the independent and dependent variables. However, fluctuating performance pay, and work discipline accounted for only 63.4% of his variability in employee performance, with the remaining 36.6% of his being influenced by other factors not investigated in this study.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of leadership on work behavior and employee participation in PT PTPN VII Kedaton Bandar Lampung. The research subject consisted of 73 of his collaborators, who were also the sample for this study. Data was collected by questionnaire and analysis was performed using multiple regression. Analysis showed that leadership has a large impact on the employees involved (tcount = 10,799 > ttable = 1,658). In addition, employee engagement has a positive impact on employee performance (tcount = 6,140 > ttable = 1,658). The F-test shows the effect of culture and work environment on employees (Fcount = 50.397 > Ftable = 3.85). Furthermore, the t-test shows a significant effect of changes in work environment on employee work engagement (t count = 6.140 > t table = 1.658). Overall, the study concludes that there is not only an impact of culture and work environment on employees of PT PTPN VII Bandar Lampung, but also an impact between the leadership and performance of the employees involved.
