Abstract

The study aims to determine the influence of promotion and purchase interest on online shopping decisions for Cardinal Product Consumers. The sample in this study was 100 people, all of whom were taken from the residents of Tegal City. Data collection through questionnaires and data analysis using SPSS 25. Data analysis includes tests: Validity, Normality, Classical Assumptions, Multiple Linear Regression Analysis and Hypothesis. The results of the study indicate that promotion and purchase interest have a positive and significant effect on online shopping decisions for Cardinal Product Consumers. Based on the determination coefficient value (R2), it was obtained at 79 %, meaning that the online shopping decision variable for Cardinal Product consumers is influenced by promotion and purchase interest.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Work Culture and Work Discipline on the Performance of BMT Binaul Ummah Cooperative Employees. The sample used in this study were all 25 BMT Binaul Ummah Cooperative employees located in Bogor City. The method used is multiple linear regression analysis to test the hypothesis. The results of the study indicate that employee work culture and employee work discipline have a significant effect on the performance of BMT Binaul Ummah Cooperative employees, both partially and simultaneously. Of the two independent variables, the work discipline variable has the most dominant effect on employee performance. Employee work culture explains 48% of the variation in employee performance, while work discipline explains 56% of the variation in employee performance. The F test shows that simultaneously, Work Culture and Work Discipline affect Employee Performance with an F value of 14.72 and a significance of p <0.01. The t test shows that the Work Discipline variable has the most dominant effect on employee performance with a t value of 3.98 and a significance of p <0.05. Thus, this study emphasizes the importance of a positive work culture and high work discipline in improving employee performance at the BMT Binaul Ummah Cooperative.

Abstract

Various factors such as marital status, age, education level, health condition, and other determinants have an impact on subjective happiness. This study investigates what factors influence subjective happiness among Indonesian female workers based on the fifth wave of Indonesian Family Life Survey data collected in 2014. The study analysis used the probit method. The analysis shows that divorced female workers show a significantly reduced likelihood of happiness compared to married women with statistical significance at p-value < 0.01. Female workers who have completed a higher level of education and maintain better physical health along with moderate religious practices show significantly greater levels of happiness according to p-value less than 0.01. This study shows that education plays a significant role in improving women's happiness. The results show why policy measures need to focus on improving women's access to education.

Abstract

The advancement of digital technology has transformed the marketing landscape, positioning social media as a key channel in digital communication strategies. This study aims to examine the impact of social media on consumer purchasing decisions, the factors influencing the effectiveness of digital communication strategies, and the role of social media platforms in fostering customer loyalty. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews with business practitioners and consumers, complemented by a literature review. The findings reveal that social media significantly influences consumer purchasing decisions, primarily through targeted advertising, customer reviews, and direct brand-user interactions. The effectiveness of digital communication strategies is determined by key factors such as marketing content, customer engagement, the role of influencers, and the use of paid advertisements. Moreover, the study finds that platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube outperform Facebook and Twitter in building customer loyalty due to their highly interactive features and superior content personalization. These findings underscore the importance of integrating organic and paid strategies in digital marketing, as well as selecting social media platforms that align with the target market’s characteristics. This study contributes to the academic discourse on social media’s role in digital marketing while providing practical insights for businesses seeking to optimize their digital communication strategies.

Abstract

Conflict is one of the problems faced by many organizations, especially non-profit organizations such as educational institutions (schools). School leaders or principals play an important role in managing conflict in order to achieve the vision, mission and goals of the organization. This article aims to describe first, the nature, activities and management of conflict. Second, the nature and role of school principal leadership. Third, conflict management strategies in the leadership of school principals from an Islamic perspective. The research method used is literature study, researchers collect data from various sources, reduce and analyze, and draw conclusions. The research results show that: first, the essence of conflict is differences of opinion, while conflict activities are related to competition, conflict management is carried out through introspection, evaluation, identification, and knowing options. Second, the essence of leadership is influencing, while the principal's leadership role includes as a formal official, manager, leader, supervisor, administrator, educator, and as staff. Abstract

This research aims to find out how price and quality influence the decision to use services at Mahardika Creative Event Organizer. In this research, there are 2 independent variables tested, namely the influence of price and service quality. This research uses a quantitative approach with descriptive methods. This research was also conducted at PT. Mahardika Creative Event. Data collection techniques in this research used questionnaires, literature studies, and interviews. The results of this research show that the influence of price and service quality has a significant effect on the decision to use services at Mahardika Creative Event Organizer.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of entrepreneurial perceptions and self-efficacy on entrepreneurial intentions of management students at Bandar Lampung University. A quantitative approach was applied with data obtained through questionnaires distributed to 68 2021 students selected using the Slovin formula. Data analysis was conducted with multiple linear regression, where entrepreneurial perception and self-efficacy as independent variables, and entrepreneurial intention as the dependent variable. The results showed that both independent variables had a significant effect on students' entrepreneurial intention. This finding confirms the importance of strengthening entrepreneurial perceptions and self-efficacy to increase students' entrepreneurial intention. Practically, universities need to develop practice-based entrepreneurship programs, such as business training, mentoring with entrepreneurs, and business simulations. In addition, increasing self-efficacy can be done through activities that build confidence, such as leadership training and managerial skills development. Thus, educational institutions can create a more conducive environment for students to plan and start a business independently.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Extrinsic Reward, Social Trust, Sense of Self-Worth, and Expected Association on Attitude toward Knowledge Sharing Behavior, as well as the effect of Attitude toward Knowledge Sharing Behavior and Subjective Norm on Intention to Share Knowledge at PT PLN (Persero) UIP JBT. This study uses a quantitative approach with a verification research type. The data collection technique was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 147 employees obtained using the Slovin method from a population of 285 employees. The sampling technique used was non-probability sampling with the accidental sampling method. Data analysis was carried out using the multiple regression method (Multiple Regression Analysis), which requires metric scale data (interval). Therefore, the ordinal data obtained were first converted into interval data using the Method of Successive Interval (MSI). The results showed that Social Trust and Expected Association had a significant effect on Attitude toward Knowledge Sharing Behavior, while Extrinsic Reward and Sense of Self-Worth did not have a significant effect. Furthermore, Attitude toward Knowledge Sharing Behavior and Subjective Norm had a significant effect on Intention to Share Knowledge. However, the interaction between Attitude toward Knowledge Sharing Behavior and Subjective Norm had no significant effect on the intention to share knowledge. These findings indicate that building social trust and positive association expectations in an organization can improve employees' knowledge sharing attitudes. Therefore, PT PLN (Persero) UIP JBT is advised to strengthen the culture of knowledge sharing by increasing social trust and providing appreciation to individuals who actively share information.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Special Economic Zones (SEZs) on foreign investment and increased employment in Indonesia, as well as the mediating role of foreign investment in the relationship. This study uses the Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method with quantitative data obtained from respondents related to the management and implementation of SEZs. The results of the study indicate that SEZs have a positive and significant influence on foreign investment (β = 0.567, p < 0.001) and increased employment (β = 0.295, p = 0.003). In addition, foreign investment also has a positive effect on increased employment (β = 0.359, p = 0.001), and acts as a mediator in the relationship between SEZs and increased employment (β = 0.203, p = 0.001). These findings confirm that SEZs not only have a direct impact on job creation, but also indirectly through increased foreign investment. The implications of this study indicate that optimizing SEZs through more flexible policies, improving infrastructure, and empowering local workers can strengthen the attractiveness of SEZs for foreign investors and increase job creation. Therefore, the government and stakeholders need to develop a more comprehensive strategy in managing SEZs in order to provide greater economic benefits for Indonesia.

Abstract

Digital technology has become a major driver of global economic transformation, having a significant impact on productivity, innovation and the creation of new markets.  This research aims to analyze how digital technology influences economic growth, both in terms of opportunities and challenges.  Digitalization increases efficiency and productivity through automation, data analytics, and the development of new business models such as e-commerce and fintech.  In addition, digital technology opens up global market access, accelerates innovation, and creates employment opportunities in technology-based sectors.  However, workforce disruption due to automation, the digital divide, and regulatory challenges are the main obstacles that need to be overcome. Countries that are able to strategically integrate digital technology into their economies tend to experience faster economic growth than countries that lag behind in digital transformation.
