Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine (1) The relationship between industrial work practice performance and work readiness of students of class XI fashion at SMK Negeri 2 Godean, (2) work readiness of students fashion design, (3) achievement of industrial work practices students of fashion. This research belongs to the type of ex-post facto research. Methods of data collection using the method of questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis techniques and hypothesis testing using the Product Moment correlation test which was preceded by normality and linearity tests. The results showed that (1) There was a relationship between industrial work practice performance and work readiness of fashion students, the value of r count = 0.674 > rtable = 0.207. The coefficient of determinant (R2) is 0.334, meaning that the contribution given by the X variable to the Y variable is 45.4%, while the remaining 54.6% is influenced by other factors not discussed in this study. (2) Most of the students' work readiness is in the high category with a frequency of 63.44%. (3) Most of the students' industrial work practice achievements are in the high category with a relative frequency of 53.76%. Keyword: Achievement, Industrial Work Practice, Work Readiness.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine (1) the learning achievement of Indonesian cake and cake subjects in the culinary field; (2) students' entrepreneurial interest in Indonesian cake and cake subjects in the culinary field; and (3) the effect of learning outcomes in cake and cake subjects. Indonesia is in the field of catering and has an interest in entrepreneurship. This research belongs to the type of ex-post facto research. Methods of data collection used questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis techniques and hypothesis testing using the Product Moment correlation test which was preceded by the analysis prerequisite tests, namely normality and linearity tests. The results showed that (1) the learning achievement of Indonesian cake and pastry subjects in the culinary field was in the high category with an average score of 81.37; (2) Students' entrepreneurial interest in Indonesian cake and pastry subjects in the culinary field is in the sufficient category with an average score of 55.15; (3) There is an effect of learning outcomes for Indonesian cake and pastry subjects in the field of culinary arts with entrepreneurial interest with the value of r arithmetic

Abstract

This study aims to find out: 1) the steps for developing learning videos for making decorative basic skewers, 2) the feasibility of learning media from the development results, and 3) the response of students to the learning media developed. This research method is research and development (R&D) with a four-D model. The validators of this research consist of material experts and media experts, as well as class XI learners as subjects. The object of this research is the development of video tutorial learning media. The instrument used is a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques use quantitative descriptive analysis. This research produces video tutorial learning media for making various ornamental basic skewers that are suitable for use. The assessment obtained from media experts and material experts gets a percentage of 100%. The results of small-scale student trials scored 92.70% and large-scale trials scored 85%. The value of the results of small-scale trials and large-scale trials falls into the category of strongly agree.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) the influence of fashion knowledge on female students' dress styles; (2) the level of knowledge of female students; and (3) female students' dress styles at Asmadewa Yogyakarta. The hypothesis of this study is that fashion knowledge influences the fashion style of female students at Asmadewa Yogyakarta. This type of research is descriptive quantitative. The subjects of this study were 58 female students at Asmadewa. Methods of data collection using questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis techniques using descriptive and hypothesis testing using Product Moment correlation. The results showed that: 1) there was a positive and significant influence between knowledge of clothing and the style of dress for female students at Asmadewa with a rcount of 0.796 > rtable of 0.258, the R2 = 63.4%, 2) Asmadewa female students' dress knowledge was in the moderate category with a relative frequency of 55%, 3) Asmadewa female students' dress styles were in the high category with a relative frequency of 48%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine: (1) knowledge of food additives in students (2) selection of student snacks and (3) the effect of knowledge of food additives on student selection of snack foods. This research includes the type of ex-post facto research. Methods of data collection using questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis techniques using statistical and correlational tests using normality and linearity tests. The results showed that (1) the students' knowledge of food additives was mostly in the high criteria with a relative frequency of 70.91%. (2) The selection of student snacks is mostly in the high criteria with a relative frequency of 67.27%. (3) Knowledge of food additives affects the selection of student snacks, with an r count of 0.653 > 0.266. The coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.426, meaning that the contribution made by variable X to variable Y is 42.6%, while the remaining 57.4% is influenced by other factors not discussed in this study. Abstract

This study aims to: 1) Develop jobsheet media as a learning aid for basic design subjects on body proportions; 2) Knowing the feasibility of media through the validation of material experts and media experts; 3) Know the response of students to using the media jobsheet. This type of research is called research and development using the Tim Puslitjaknov development model with stages: a) product analysis, b) product development, c) expert validation and revision, d) small-scale trial, e) large-scale trial. Expert validation was carried out by 2 media expert and 2 material expert. Data collection using a questionnaire. Analisys using descriptive statistic. The results of this study are: 1) print media jobsheet for basic design; 2) The feasibility of the jobsheet media is in the category of 100% feasible; 3) Student’s responses to the media jobsheet on a small scale trial showed 80,44% agreed, and a large scale trial showed strongly agreed 84,16%. Abstract

This research aims to develop analog rice from cassava and chicken floss(SIBON). This research uses a mixed approach with research anddevelopment (RnD) types. The research procedure uses 4D which is adoptedinto 3D, namely define, design, and development. This research was conductedat the Culinary Arts Laboratory in March 2024. The subject of this researchwas SIBON rice, namely analog rice from cassava, shredded, and corn starch.The research instrument used in this development research is a panelistquestionnaire which will assess the organoleptic test so that acceptance dataon aspects of aroma, color, taste, and texture are known. Data analysis wascarried out using organoleptic analysis. The parameters analyzed includecolor, texture, smell, and taste. Data analysis uses descriptive analysis. Theresults of the research showed that the organoleptic test results for the tasteaspect were found to be savory, the color aspect was quite brown, the textureaspect was said to be quite chewy, and the aroma aspect was found to be quitefragrant with mocaf in the rice product.

Abstract

This article examines misconceptions about strict parenting practices for girls in Javanese culture. These misconceptions often lead to misunderstandings and conflicts between generations, especially between parents and daughters. Strict parenting practices in Javanese culture are intended to protect girls and maintain family honor. This study aims to investigate misconceptions about strict parenting practices for Javanese girls and reveal the implications of these misconceptions on parent-child relationships and their impact on child development in the context of Javanese culture. This study uses qualitative methods and Clifford Geertz's cultural interpretation theory, with primary data from interviews with Javanese girls from educational and artistic families, and secondary data from literature studies. Data analysis was conducted using a descriptive interpretive approach to understand the perceptions and experiences of informants related to strict parenting patterns. The results show that these misconceptions are caused by differences in interpretation between generations, lack of information about Javanese cultural values, and the influence of media. This article proposes a deeper understanding to develop a more appropriate parenting approach to reduce the negative impacts of these misconceptions.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine: (1) the level of infrastructure aspects, (2) the level of learning interest, (3) learning outcomes, (4) the influence of infrastructure aspects on learning outcomes, (5) the influence of learning interest on learning outcomes, (6) the simultaneous influence of infrastructure aspects and learning interest on learning outcomes. The analysis techniques involve descriptive analysis and hypothesis testing using prerequisite analysis tests. The research findings indicate that (1) the infrastructure aspect is in the moderate category, (2) learning interest is in the moderate category, (3) learning outcomes are in the high category, (4) there is a positive influence of in infrastructure aspects on learning outcomes, (5) there is a negative influence of learning interest on learning outcomes, and (6) there is a significant negative influence of learning interest on learning outcomes.

Abstract

Research on kembang goyang cake with substitution of Ipomoea batatas linnaeus (white sweet potato) flour to find out: 1) differences in sensory quality; 2) people's preferences for aspects of color, sweet taste, savory taste, aroma, and texture; 3) protein content and water content. This research consists of stages of sensory quality testing and people's liking tests.  20 somewhat trained panelists carried out the sensory test to assess the quality of the Kembang Goyang cake product, then analyzed using the average and continued with the ANOVA and Tukey tests. Test people's preferences using average analysis. The research results show: 1) there are differences in sensory quality in the aspects of color, sweetness, savory taste, aroma, and texture; 2) the highest average liking in the 0% sample was 4.06 (like), 10% was 4.06 (like), 20% was 4.21 (like), and 30% was 4.18 (like); 3) protein content of 8.12- 27.71% and water content of 0.78- 1.90. This indicates that there are differences in the sensory qualities and people's preferences for the Ipomoea Batatas Linnaeus flour kembang goyang cake.
