Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui : 1) Pengetahuan ibu tentang gizi yang dibutuhkan balita sesuai umur dan perkembangannya, 2) Cara ibu memilih makanan untuk balita, 3) Menganalisis ada tidaknya hubungan pengetahuan gizi ibu dengan pemilihan makanan balita di Dusun Ngaran dan Sonoharjo, Margokaton, Seyegan, Sleman, Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan populasi Ibu-ibu Dusun Ngaran dan Sonoharjo, Sleman, Yogyakarta, yang memiliki balita usia 6 bulan hingga 5 tahun dengan jumlah 70 orang. Pengujian instrumen untuk uji validitas menggunakan korelasi product moment dengan N = 41 dan taraf signifikan 5% maka r tabel = 0,273. Uji reabilitas menggunakan Alpha Cronbach dengan koefisien 0,848. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif (mean, median, modus, standar deviasi) dan analisis korelasi untuk mencari dua variabel dan uji hipotesis menggunakan korelasi product moment yang didahului dengan uji prasyarat analisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan : 1) pengetahuan ibu tentang gizi di Dusun Ngaran dan Sonoharjo termasuk kategori sedang dengan frekuensi 51,2%. 2) pemilihan makanan balita yang dilakukan ibu di Dusun Ngaran dan Sonoharjo termasuk dalam kategori tinggi dengan frekuensi 48,8%. 3) Adanya hubungan yang positif antara pengetahuan gizi ibu dengan pemilihan makanan balita dengan perhitungan hasil r hitung 0,614 dengan N=41 pada taraf signifikan 5% yaitu 0,273 atau disimpulkan r hitung sebesar 0,614 > 0,273.

Abstract

Application-based learning media is mandatory in delivering learning materials, so that the learning atmosphere is favored by students. Especially in learning Arabic, many students do not like it. For this reason, teachers need to renew the learning process, for example by utilizing comic media in delivering learning materials. The purpose of this research is to develop Comic Strip Creator application as Arabic learning media. The method used in this research is the research and development method (Research and Development) using the borg and gall model, the steps are as follows: (1) Potential and problems, (2) Data collection, (3) Product design, (4) Design validation, (5) Design revision, (6) Product trial, (7) Product revision, (8) Usage trial, (9) Product revision and (10) Mass product. The results of this study explain that Comic Strip Creator can be used as Arabic language learning media and can improve student achievement. The conclusion of this study explains that the Comic Strip Creator application can provide new innovations in learning, especially Arabic language learning. The limitation of this study is that researchers only conducted research on the Comic Strip Creator application in Arabic language learning, of course the results were not so satisfactory. Researchers hope to other learning researchers.

Abstract

This research aims to describe how program planning, implementation processes and supervision are applied in madrasah. The method used is a qualitative approach, data was collected through observation, interviews and document analysis. Research subjects include principals, quality development teams, supervisors, committees, teachers and supervisors. Data validation uses data triangulation. Data analysis is carried out through data condensation, data presentation and conclusions. The results of this study revealed that programme planning begins at the beginning of the year with a joint meeting between the principal, teaching team and other stakeholders. In the meeting, they discuss the formation of the research class, set the curriculum, and detail the programme plan. The programme is organised by assigning teachers who are competent in the field of research, forming an implementation structure, and a quality development unit. Programme implementation went according to plan, focusing on improving students' knowledge, developing a literacy culture, developing writing skills and participating in competitions. One of the main limitations is that programme supervision still needs to be improved. This may hinder effective monitoring and evaluation of the programme's progress. The study has limitations as it only focuses on one variable madrasah. Therefore, the generalisation of the results of this study to other madrasahs may be limited. This study makes a valuable contribution to understanding madrasah improvement practices in student-conducted research, thus providing essential and relevant insights for improving the quality of education in madrasahs.

Abstract

This research was conducted at SDIT Daar Ilmi and SD N 1 Lembasung Waykanan district with problems about the implementation of Islamic religious education based on an open ended approach, namely preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The formulation of the problem in this study is: 1) How is the Implementation Process of Islamic Religious Education Based on an Open-Ended Approach in Improving the Morals of Students at SDIT Daar Ilmi and SD N 1 Lembasung, Blambangan Umpu District, Waykanan Regency for the 2022/2023 Academic Year? 2) What factors hinder the implementation of open-ended approach-based Islamic religious education in improving the morals of students at SDIT Daar Ilmi and SD N 1 Lembasung, Blambangan Umpu District, Waykanan Regency for the 2022/2023 academic year? 3) What factors support the implementation of Islamic religious education based on an open-ended approach in improving the morals of students at SDIT Daar Ilmi and SD N 1 Lembasung, Blambangan Umpu District, Waykanan Regency for the 2022/2023 academic year? The purpose of this study is to find out why the implementation of the Open-Ended Approach in SMA Negeri 1 Blambangan Umpu. The Open-Ended approach is a very effective approach when implemented in the learning process. The implementation of the Open-Ended Approach, makes students able to think creatively and solve problems and can express opinions in the learning process in class. This research uses descriptive qualitative research, this type of research uses case studies and data collection processes, namely interview methods, observation methods, and documentation methods. Data analysis techniques use data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The results of this pre-study show that the Implementation of Islamic Religious Education Based on an Open-Ended Approach in Improving the Morals of Students at SDIT Daar Ilmi and SD N 1 Lembasung, Blambangan Umpu District, Waykanan Regency shows that the steps of the Open-Ended Approach include 3 steps. However, there is still one step in the approach that has not been maximized, namely in the core activity step, the teacher has not used the discussion method so that students are passive and lack the response or enthusiasm of students in the process of learning activities in class. However, after the steps were implemented optimally, the results of the study showed that students experienced a good and satisfying moral improvement. This can be seen from the psychomotor aspect (skills) of daring to present and demonstrate, students become enthusiastic and enthusiastic in following learning, in the process of classroom learning becomes alive. The affective aspect (attitude) can be said to be the maximum of the morals of speaking, the morals of attitude, and the morals of behavior. The cognitive aspect (knowledge) of learners has improved in terms of their comprehension and daily tests.

Abstract

This study aims to historically examine the development of Islam under three major powers in Islamic world history: the Ottoman Empire, the Safavid Dynasty, and the Mongol Empire. These three powers played a vital role in the spread of Islam, the formation of Islamic culture, and their influence on political and religious systems. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a literature review method. Based on the analysis of the development of Islam during the Ottoman, Safavid, and Mongol periods, it can be concluded that these powers had a significant role in shaping the political, religious, and civilizational dynamics of Islam in various regions. The Ottoman Empire presented a model of organized and stable Sunni Islamic caliphate capable of uniting Muslims across continents through the institutionalization of the Hanafi school and the support of Islamic science and culture. The Safavid Dynasty, although ideologically different from the Ottomans, succeeded in establishing a strong Islamic identity in Persia by adopting Twelver Shi’ism as the state foundation, building Shi’ite educational centers, and advancing Islamic arts and architecture. Meanwhile, the Mongol power, initially known as the destroyer of Islamic civilization, eventually became a protector and disseminator of Islam after its rulers converted to the religion, supported the development of scholarly institutions, and expanded the influence of Islam into Central Asia and the Indian subcontinent. These three powers demonstrate that the development of Islam was deeply influenced by the dynamics of political authority, yet Islam remained flexible and highly adaptive to various social and cultural contexts, thus establishing itself as a global civilization that continues to evolve through the ages

Abstract

This article discusses the reconstruction of Islamic thought through an examination of reformist ideas developed by several modern and contemporary Muslim figures, such as Jamaluddin al-Afghani, Muhammad Abduh, Fazlur Rahman, and Nurcholish Madjid. The main focus of this study is how their thoughts respond to the challenges of the times, both in religious, social, and educational fields. Using a qualitative approach through library research, this article explores the fundamental principles of reform that they proposed, such as the rationalization of Islamic teachings, contextual ijtihad, and the reform of Islamic educational institutions. Based on the explanation and analysis of the thoughts of these reformist figures, it can be concluded that the reconstruction of Islamic thought is an urgent necessity in responding to the challenges of the modern era. These thinkers, with their diverse social backgrounds and approaches, share a common thread in their efforts to revive critical reasoning, liberate the Muslim community from the shackles of blind imitation (taqlid), and reform the educational system to align with dynamic and contextual Islamic values. The rationalization of religious teachings, the reopening of ijtihad, the strengthening of integrative education, and the rejection of formalism and dogmatism are strategic proposals they put forward to make Islam a religion capable of addressing contemporary issues without losing its spiritual identity. Their ideas also reflect a spirit of bridging tradition and modernity, revelation and reason, as well as textual authority and the lived experience of the Muslim community.

Abstract

This article examines the thoughts of Islamic reformist figures in the Indian and Pakistani region, such as Shah Waliullah al-Dihlawi, Muhammad Iqbal, Abul A‘la Maududi, and Fazlur Rahman. Each of these figures made significant contributions to shaping Islamic reform discourse that responded to the challenges of colonialism, modernity, and the internal crises of the Muslim ummah. This study employs a qualitative approach through a literature review to analyze their main ideas, including reinterpretation of religious texts, the concept of an Islamic state, the role of reason in understanding revelation, as well as the importance of education and social ethics in community development. Based on the results and discussion of the reformist thoughts of these Muslim thinkers, it can be concluded that Islamic reform in this region emerged from a complex intellectual struggle between tradition, the demands of modernity, and the socio-political conditions of the post-colonial Muslim society. Although these figures had different approaches and focuses—from rationalizing Islamic teachings, reviving ijtihad, reforming educational institutions, to reconstructing the Islamic political system—they were united by a grand vision of positioning Islam as a moral, social, and civilizational force capable of responding to the dynamics of the times. Shah Waliullah emphasized the reconciliation between sharia and Sufism in the context of holistic community development; Iqbal proposed spiritual and philosophical renewal as a basis for progress; Maududi offered the concept of theodemocracy in response to secularism; while Fazlur Rahman developed a methodological approach based on contextual ijtihad and the social ethics of the Qur’an. These thinkers collectively emphasized the importance of rereading Islamic texts by considering historical context and contemporary needs, as well as the necessity of synthesizing revelation and reason as the foundation of reform.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the implementation of ta‘zīr in strengthening the discipline and sense of responsibility of male students at Pondok Pesantren Hidayatul Mubtadiin, Jati Agung, South Lampung, in the 2024/2025 academic year. The issues addressed in this research include: (1) how ta‘zīr is implemented toward male students, (2) the types of violations and the corresponding forms of ta‘zīr applied, and (3) the impact of ta‘zīr on enhancing students’ discipline and responsibility. This study employs a qualitative approach using a case study method. Data collection techniques include observation, in-depth interviews with the boarding school administrators (including the head, deputy head, secretary, security personnel, education division, and room supervisors), as well as documentation. The research subjects consist of administrators and male students who have received ta‘zīr sanctions. Data were analyzed qualitatively through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that ta‘zīr is systematically implemented as a means of moral and disciplinary guidance. Common violations include failing to attend congregational prayers, skipping religious classes (ngaji diniyah), neglecting yasinan recitations, smoking, stealing, carrying mobile phones without permission, and fleeing from the boarding school. The types of ta‘zīr imposed are adjusted based on the severity of the violations, including being doused with dirty water, standing punishment (disetrap), having their head shaved, being assigned expiatory tasks (dikifarat), having their violations displayed publicly (dipamflet), and being barred from certain activities. The application of ta‘zīr has shown positive effects in fostering a sense of responsibility and improving students’ discipline, although challenges remain, such as lack of individual awareness and environmental influences. A reward system is also applied to balance the disciplinary approach, making student development more effective.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan dan mengevaluasi peran guru dalam menangani perilaku bullying melalui penanaman nilai-nilai akhlakul karimah pada peserta didik di MTs Hidayatul Mubtadiin. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh meningkatnya kasus perundungan di lingkungan pelajar yang berdampak negatif terhadap proses belajar mengajar serta pembentukan karakter siswa. Dalam konteks ini, guru memiliki peran strategis sebagai pendidik dalam membentuk akhlak mulia serta menciptakan interaksi sosial yang sehat di sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi langsung, wawancara mendalam dengan guru, wali kelas, guru Bimbingan Konseling, dan siswa, serta dokumentasi terhadap kegiatan pembinaan akhlak dan catatan pelanggaran yang tercatat di sekolah. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan proses reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan, serta divalidasi melalui triangulasi sumber dan metode. Temuan penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa guru di MTs Hidayatul Mubtadiin menerapkan berbagai strategi pencegahan dan penanganan dalam menghadapi bullying. Di antaranya adalah dengan memberikan teladan akhlak yang baik, membiasakan siswa dalam kegiatan keagamaan, membangun pendekatan personal kepada pelaku dan korban, serta bekerja sama dengan orang tua dan pihak sekolah. Penanaman akhlakul karimah secara berkelanjutan terbukti efektif dalam membangun kesadaran moral siswa, mengurangi perilaku negatif, serta menciptakan suasana belajar yang lebih aman dan harmonis. Pendekatan ini menunjukkan bahwa pembinaan karakter yang konsisten dapat menjadi solusi dalam menanggulangi perilaku bullying di lingkungan madrasah.

Abstract

Increased life skills for mothers in Pajangan sub-village through rice bran training. The purpose of the training is to improve life skills in the Pajangan sub-village, especially in food products using local bran ingredients. Rice bran has a variety of nutrients including antioxidants containing tocopherol, vitamin E and vitamin B15. These compounds play a role to reduce blood cholesterol levels, prevent cancer and facilitate hormonal secretions. Besides rice, rice husks or rice bran are not only sold to feed livestock, but are developed to make quality and quality products, but also can increase income and improve the living standards of LPKK women in Pajangan Berbah Hamlet, Sleman. The kinds of products we make are wet brownies and dry brownies. Abdimas is held in the Pajangan hamlet hall, Berbah Sleman. This activity was carried out for two days, namely the preparation phase on the first day and the implementation and socialization on the second day with a total of twelve hours of activity time. The target of this activity is LPKK women in the Pajangan Berbah Sleman. This activity is carried out using lecture, demonstration, training and practice methods. The resulting output is an increase in life skills through the skills to make bran brownies is a weekly newpepper.
