Abstract

The development of the times, followed by the development of science and technology, has also had a big impact on the world of education. Various kinds of demands have encouraged changes in the education system, especially the curriculum. 2022 is the year when the Independent Curriculum is launched, which mandates not only the mastery of knowledge, but also the cultivation of character as outlined in the Pancasila Student Profile (P3). P3 is implemented through various co-curricular project activities, or called P5. So that P3 character strengthening can run smoothly, it is necessary to know the perception of the supervising teacher because there are still many teachers who do not have a good perception of P5 activities. The aim of this research is to determine the perceptions of teachers, especially mathematics and science teachers, regarding the implementation of P5 activities. This research uses a descriptive analysis method with a quantitative approach. The research results showed that the majority of junior high school mathematics and science teachers who were respondents had a good perception of P5 activities which included preparation, implementation, knowledge and evaluation of activities.

Abstract

Aksi Cepat Tanggap or abbreviated as ACT is one of the largest philanthropic institutions in Indonesia. During ACT's development, Bareskrim Polri suspects that there was a misuse of aid funds made by ACT for the victims of the Lion Air JT-610 plane crash in 2018. These findings were conveyed by the police after the Financial Analysis and Transaction Reporting Center or PPATK stated that there was a myriad of financial problems at ACT. This study uses a quantitative approach, with data collection methods using questionnaires. The sampling technique for this study used a census technique so that the population, as well as the sample for this study, were 106 Instagram followers @beritasatu who liked the post entitled "Polri Investigate Allegations of Misappropriation of Funds at ACT" which was uploaded on July 9, 2022. The results of the analysis in this study indicate that exposure to Instagram social media @beritasatu has a positive and significant effect on the interest in donating Instagram followers @beritasatu to philanthropic institutions. The relationship between media exposure and intention to donate was also stated to be strong. Calculation of the value of the coefficient of determination or R2 produces several 0.942. This means that media exposure has an influence of 94.2 percent on the interest in donating. While the remaining 5.8 percent is the contribution of other variables besides media exposure.

Abstract

The development towards digital has made many changes that have occurred in various aspects of human life. In this era, many social media applications have sprung up which are certainly a means of entertainment for some people. With the increasing frequency of access to social media, several product or service companies advertise their products or services on social media, one of which is Netflix. One of the social media that they use to advertise their services is Youtube. This is becausee YouTube has become one of the most frequently accessed social media by people. This study uses a quantitative method with a correlational approach. The population contained in this study were 82 students of the Communication Science study program, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, 2019. Sampling in the study using probability sampling method by means of simple random sampling. The number of sample taken was 68 respondents based on calculations using the Slovin formula. From this study, the results obtained are that there iss an influence between ads on Youtube platform on students buying interest. This is evidenced by calculations using t count and t table and significance analysis. In addition, Netflix advertisements on Youtube have a direct relationship with the variable Y with a constant value of 4.228. Therefore, it can be ignored that Ads on Youtube Platform have an influence on the interest in buying Netflix service products.

Abstract

A rapid development, especially in the technology industry, led to a big impact on media development. A lot of media companies switched from conventional media to digital media because of fear of being eroded and disability to adapt with the digital advances. not only that, there were also a lot of new online media appearance based on social media, one of which is Folkative. We cannot deny that social media is a new platform which is loved by lots of people, especially Z generation, so the appearance of new online media such as Folkative created a uniqueness of it. Folkative itself is a new online media platform based on Instagram which focused on news, art, culture, and local products, Folkative was called as new media since it was established on 2018. This research aims to determine the effect of uploads on Folkative on the fulfillment of information for Z generation. This research is quantitative research which defines phenomenon with numbers. This research also focused on communication major student at Universitas Negeri Jakarta especially on class of 2020 as the population. This research tests the validity and reliability of data, simple linear regression test to check the effect, and hypothesis test using IBM SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) version 25. Based on the results of this research, it was determined that there was a positive impact of 15,6%, so it was concluded that there was an effect of uploads on Folkative on the fulfillment of information for Z generation.

Abstract

Project-based learning trains creative thinking skills by means of the creation of valued recycling products from inorganic waste. The study aims to discover the improvement of creative thinking skills in environmental change content through project-based learning. The study uses a quasi-experiment method with a pretest-posttest control group design. The instrument used is the creative thinking skill test by referring to Torrence indicators that consist of fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. The test comprises 10 valid question items and has criteria of very high reliability. The study is conducted in Grade X of MIPA in one of the senior high schools (SMA) in Bekasi, Indonesia. The experimental class is taught with a project-based learning model, whereas the control class used conventional learning. Students involved in the research are 76 students in Senir High School 4 Bekasi. Simple random sampling is employed as the sampling technique. Normality test that uses Kolmogorov-Smirnov and homogenity test that employs Levene test indicates that data are normally distributed and homogenous. The results of hypothesis testing suggest an influence on creative thinking skills in environmental change content after the application of the project-based learning. According to the normalized gain calculation, the application of project-based learning has a moderate category. The research finding suggeststhat the learning about environmental changes for students could be taught using project-based learning to empower creative thinking skills.

Abstract

Social media, particularly Instagram, is used for communication and sharing activities through photos and videos. Additionally, this platform serves to shape self-image and respond to various commnets. For example is @adwindopadang, a group of youth touris ambassadors (Uda Uni Kota Padang) who act as stakeholders in the tourism sector. This research aims to analyze how @adwindopadang builds their self-image through Instagram. The study employs Ferdinand de Saussure’s semiotic theory to understand the meaning construction from the photos and texts posted by the @adwindopadang Instagram. It uses a constructivist paradigm with a qualitative descriptive approach. The data examined includes the photos and descriptions on the account. The research findings indicate that @adwindopadang construct self-image through a combination of verbal and non-verbal messages, reflected in the captions, photography, style, distinctive fashion choices. The conclusion drawn is that the self-image built by @adwindopadang displays characteristics of simplicity, intelligence, humility, modernity, fasion-forwardness, and inspiration, successfully creating a positive image on social media

Abstract

Media sosial sebagai bentuk dari inovasi teknologi internet memberikan banyak perubahan positif dalam hal manusia bersosialisasi dan berkomunikasi. Salah satu perubahan yang terjadi adalah cara marketing modern dengan menggunakan sosial media, atau biasa disebut dengan social media marketing. Vindes merupakan salah satu pelaku usaha yang memanfaatkan inovasi teknologi internet untuk menjangkau potensi pasar yang lebih luas dengan biaya yang relatif kecil jika dibandingkan dengan marketing konvensional. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh social media marketing akun Instagram @vindes.store terhadap kesadaran merek Vindes. Pendekatan pada penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif kausal. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa S1 prodi Ilmu Komunikasi Universitas Negeri Jakarta Angkatan 2019 dengan jumlah 81 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi linear sederhana dengan nilai F 49.148 dengan signifikansi 0.000 < 0,05 yang menggambarkan bahwa variabel X (social media marketing) memiliki pengaruh terhadap variabel Y (kesadaran merek).

Abstract

Jatinegara Kaum Subdistrict has a program to empower UMKMs so they can advance to class. Unfortunately, the empowerment program is still less than optimal, especially in the product promotion section. The aim of this service activity is to empower Jatinegara Kaum UMKMs through online marketing activities. The method you use is a method of assistance and guidance to Jatinegara Kaum UMKMs so that they are empowered to use tools in online marketing applications. This activity will last for 5 months, namely from February-June 2024. The result of this activity is that there are 9 Jatinegara Kaum MSMEs that we assisted to be able to optimize Instagram social media by creating unique and easily recognizable MSME profiles. While we were assisting, there was optimization as shown by Instagram being active in making posts, and these posts were made every week. This makes Jatinegara Kaum UMKM products more widely known.

Abstract

Student MSMEs are generally not managed well. The awareness of students in urban areas like Jakarta is that they do not fully want to develop student-managed entrepreneurship. However, due to several demands from the campus to become entrepreneurs, UNJ communication science undergraduate study program students created student entrepreneurs by optimizing the social media Instagram. There are 10 student MSMEs managed by students from the Bachelor of Communication Science study program. As a marketing tool, they use Instagram social media to market their business products. The aim of this service activity is to help MSME students be able to optimize Instagram social media so that their MSME products can be competitive. The activity method used is project-based learning in copywriting courses. The results of this activity are that students are able to manage Instagram social media and optimize social media by improving the performance of the content produced, getting likes from users and increasing sales of their products.

Abstract

Agricultural digitalization has become a strategic step in enhancing the competitiveness and income of farmers in the digital era. The method was used in participatory action, involving 25 members of the Sedap Malam KWT. The training is conducted in three stages: introduction to the concept of digital marketing, practical use of e-commerce platforms, and evaluation of online sales results. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and analysis of sales reports during the month prior to the training. The results of the dedication show a significant increase in the average income of KWT members by 66,87% after implementing online marketing strategies. In addition, digital literacy among participants increased by 90,83%. Therefore, agricultural product marketing training through online platforms is effective in increasing the income and digital capacity of the Sedap Malam KWT. This dedication recommends the expansion of similar programs to other farmer groups to encourage digital transformation in the agricultural sector.
