Abstract

PT Steelindo Wahana Perkasa, a part of the KLK GROUP, is a palm oil plantation company located inEast Belitung. They produce olein and stearin through a refinery plant with a capacity of 1000 MT ofCrude Palm Oil (CPO) per day. These products are exported to Asia and Europe, including countries likeMalaysia, Singapore, China, and the Netherlands. Olein is also sold in the Belitung region. Currently, thecompany only produces around 170 MT of CPO per day, so they purchase CPO from other companies.Research is conducted to analyze the future demand for CPO using the Single Exponential Smoothing,Moving Average, and Holt Winter's methods. The research's goal is to determine the most accurate methodbased on the Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) value. If MAPE is <10%, the method is consideredsuitable for forecasting CPO demand. The research results indicate that the most appropriate method isHolt Winter's, with a MAPE of 8.6% and 4.4%. In period 13, company A will purchase 2,780.08 MT ofCPO, and company B will purchase 4,496.10 MT.

Abstract

Apart from serving regional freight transport, the availability of freight terminals is also urgently needed aspart of the urban transportation system. In providing a merchandise terminal, many considerations arerequired to create an effective and efficient transportation of merchandise in terms of connected cargo. Thepurpose of this research is to determine the location of the goods terminal so that logistics transportationservices in the Sarbagita area can run smoothly without being constrained by transportation problems. Thedata collection method was carried out by interviewing policy makers in the province of Bali and competenttransportation experts. Advanced analysis also uses Software Expert Choice which is a decision makingmethod, whose main tool is a hierarchy. After the data has been analyzed, conclusions are drawn using theAnalytic Hierarchy Process method. The results of the research on the criteria for the location of the freighttransport terminal include 6 variables including the suitability of RT/RW, traffic density, intermodalintegration, topographical conditions, accessibility and environmental impact. There are 4 suggestedalternatives, namely Mengwi, Soka Beach, Ubud, and Ida Bagus Mantra Gianyar. The choice of terminallocation obtained from the expert choice software on the 4 alternative location choices obtained that the bestlocation was the Mengwi area, Badung Regency (31.1%).

Abstract

This research aims to create eco-friendly chairs using Ecobrick bottles as a base material. The excessiveuse of plastic causes a negative impact from increasing plastic waste which harms the environment andeven affects human health, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic which has led to an increase in theuse of plastic in several countries. That is the reason for the need for action to reduce plastic waste, one ofwhich is creating products made from plastic waste. The method used in this study has several stages inIdeate, Determining Customer Needs, Making Designs, Selection of Final Designs, DeterminingErgonomic Chairs, Calculation of Analysis Structures, Design Experiments and Testing, DesignRefinements, and Final Designs. From this research, it is hoped that the chairs created will be able to meetcustomer needs by having ergonomic dimensions, being environmentally friendly, and safe to use. Thisapproach is expected to provide a solution to the problem of excessive use of plastic, by turning plasticwaste into useful products and reducing the negative impact on the environment.

Abstract

The role of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) is very important for a region, especially asone of the drivers of economic growth in the region. In order to create efficiency, wider market reach, attract more customers and better business opportunities, MSMEs must enter the digital businessecosystem. Rumah BUMN (RB) is an initiative program of BUMN and the Ministry of BUMN tostrengthen Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Rumah BUMN Bandung is one of the activeRumah BUMN and there are many activities under the auspices of Bank BRI. As the digital businessecosystem develops, more and more MSMEs are joining Rumah BUMN Bandung. Implementation ofdocumentation at Rumah BUMN Bandung only reached 12.5%, mainly focused on training programs outof a total of 8 existing programs. The reason is that there is no comprehensive implementation of qualitydocument control standards at Rumah BUMN Bandung. As a result, Rumah BUMN Bandung employeesoften have difficulty finding documents, sometimes documents that have expired are still being used, andthey make mistakes in providing documents to fellow employees. This research aims to describedocuments that need to be controlled, design SOPs for quality document control, and create use casediagrams. The method used in this research is Business Process Management (BPM). In an effort to dealwith existing problems, SOPs and use case diagrams of the quality document control process will bedesigned.

Abstract

Every company must have uncertainties that can affect the company's performance. The risk is the result ofthe emergence of uncertainty. Risk management is a step that can be taken to measure the risks that exist inthe company. CV. XYZ, as a manufacturing company whose production floor involves both machines andhumans, has already implemented HIRARC methods in its risk management. CV. XYZ requires a riskregister dashboard as a tool for risk documentation and monitoring through real-time reports and annualreports. A dashboard is a tool used to analyze data and information. The rapid development of technologyhas led to improved solutions through information systems. The user interface risk register dashboard isdesigned using the Human-Centered Design (HCD) method, with steps to define user contextspecifications, user needs specifications, and user interface risk register dashboards. The design result ofthe user interface design risk register prototype with log-in page, menu form Risk update, mitigation andcontingency menus, risk database, and dashboard are divided into two categories, i.e., real-time report andannual report. User interface design can provide convenience and interaction to the user, and risk registrydashboard design can improve risk management efficiency with the presence of centralized and structuredrisk-related information, as well as facilitate risk evaluation, thus driving continuous improvement.

Abstract

Recruitment success that depends on accurate selection is the focus of PT Motekar Edukasi Indonesia, aprofessional training services company, which is experiencing challenges in determining suitablecandidates. The company's Head of HRD experiences difficulties in recommending the right employees, aswell as in making decisions to determine employees who meet the required criteria, so a system is neededfor the Head of HRD to determine the best applicants for PT Motekar Edukasi Indonesia according to thecriteria or specifications that have been determined. To overcome this, an HRD decision support systemwas developed using the Scrum method and the Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique (SMART)method to determine the best applicants based on established criteria. This system was tested and showedhigh accuracy and user satisfaction of 93.80%, providing an effective solution for PT Motekar EdukasiIndonesia's HRD team in the recruitment process. Implementation of a decision support system in acompany improves information structure, data processing and management, effectiveness of selection, recruitment decisions, and provides secure and flexible data storage.

Abstract

This study addresses vehicle routing to distribute liquid oxygen products from the factory to the agent by considering the risk of changes in liquid oxygen demand when the vehicle leaves the factory. Handling liquid oxygen inventory requires strict service, large storage areas and high storage costs. The uncertainty of liquid oxygen demand at the consumer level and inventory handling make agents change demand suddenly. This condition causes the quantity transferred to the agent not to match the amount of liquid oxygen transported by the fleet from the factory. If the change in demand decreases, the fleet must return the remaining liquid oxygen to the factory. Still, if the change increases, it will affect the vehicle's ability to meet the liquid quantity requested by the next agent. Furthermore, a vehicle routing model is developed that considers the possibility of changes in demand after the vehicle departs from the factory. The search for the optimal route solution for this model uses a guided local search algorithm. The study results showed an increase in vehicle transfer quantity of 4.23% from the previous route.
