Abstract

This research aims to encounter radicalism that is a problem of learning Islam in education institutions in Indonesia through the preparation of local wisdom-based teaching materials in West Kalimantan. The Center for Islamic and Community Studies (PPIM) UIN Jakarta conducted a research on "the exclusive understanding of Islamic education" in 2016 came to the conclusion that the understanding of religious intolerance is still being found through the presentation of teaching books in schools that underscored the dialogical aspects and tend to prioritize one particular view. This research used qualitative methods with the type of literature research. Data collection techniques with documentation, identifying discourse from books, papers or articles, magazines, journals, newspapers, websites (Internet) and other sources related to the study of the teaching materials development in particular in Madrasah Tsanawiyah based local wisdom in West Kalimantan. The theoretical approach used in teaching materials development, through the Minister of Religious Regulation No. 183 year 2019 about the Islamic Lesson(PAI) curriculum and Arabic language at Madrasah. Development of teaching materials based on West Kalimantan Society local wisdom prioritizes religious behaviour that takes place with cultural approaches. Researchers identified and synthesis a variety of research outcomes on cultural-based religious activities. Most cultural-based religious activities have a evidence as mentioned in the Qur'an and Hadith Rasulullah SAW, with a dialogical approach in the preparation of teaching materials to be delivered to students are expected to minimize the thought tends to be stiff

Abstract

Abstract The study is aimed to enhance reading comprehension of the second semester students of PAI students of FTIK IAIN Pontianak by using Authentic Material. This is an action research with the subjects were 34 students of Islamic education students (PAI)FTIK IAIN Pontianak in academic year 2018/2019. This is in two cycles and the result was it is effective in enhancing the Islamic education students’ reading comprehension. These materials were much effective when the students together with the authentic task. The improvements such as more focus and active in participating classroom activities in classroom, also motivated and interesting in reading activities. And the class atmosphere is more enjoy and enthusiastic

Abstract

This qualitative research was conducted by the writer with a background on the importance of moral behavior (noble character) for humanity through the figure of the Prophet Muhammad. who has great morals (khulukun adzim). The formulation of the problem in this study is "How is the concept of moral education according to the perspective of Al-Ghazaly in the book of Ihya'Ulumuddin, How is the concept of moral education according to the perspective of Ibnu Maskawaih in the book Tahdzib Al-Akhlak, How is the comparative analysis between the concept of Al-Ghazaly and Ibnu Maskawaih about education morals and reflection of similarities and differences in the concepts of both. The method used by researchers in research related to this thesis material is descriptive method through a qualitative approach.The results of this author's research are that both of them agree on the meaning and nature of moral education, regarding the aims and benefits of moral education, there are two classifications of morals namely good morals and bad morals, there are two methods of moral education according to Al-Ghazaly namely the al-mujahadah method and arriyadlah and according to Maskawaih namely the method of takrir al-mawaidz, al-'ilaj, arriyadlah, criteria and scope of good moral education material and bad moral material, regarding the main morals of moral education there are four namely Al-hikmah, al- ' iffah, ash-shay'ah and al-'adlu or al-'are.

Abstract

The study reveal the reading improvement by using Buzz groups technique. This study used action research. This research finding that buzz groups technique can improve students’ reading comprehension. The improvement can be identified from students’ reading comprehension achievement in finding word meaning, finding detailed information, identifying the referent, identifying the main idea, identiying implied information, identifying the language characteristics of the text including identifying the generic structure of the text and identifying communicative purpose of text. The result score of pre-test is 60.2, the mean score of post-test 1 is 75.4, and the mean score of post-tes 2 is 83

Abstract

Autonomous learning has been one of the issues that sparked other terms and being discussed in EFL field. It is believed that autonomous learning and reading comprehension is having a positive relationship. Many researchers also agree that autonomous readers have great ability to deal with difficult reading. Therefore, this article aimed to explore one of the most achieving students in English Language Educati on Department scheme in her reading activity. This article focuses on the four characteristics that needs to be gained by the learners to be autonomous; 1) Having capacity to make own decision concerning EFL reading; 2) Having capacity to control EFL reading 3) Having responsibility in EFL reading; 4) Having self efficacy in reading”. Abstract

Arus globalisasi menggerus arti negara dalam bentuk kewilayahan, atau dalam perspektif geografi dalam hal batas-batasnya (borderless). Kehadiran krisis sebagaimana pandemi Covid-19 hadir untuk mengingatkan kembali keberadaannya. Batas, kedaulatan, dan kekuatan dari sebuah negara, yang secara nyata berhadapan dengan kepentingan politik dunia. Geopolitik telah lama menjadi kajian penting bagi penguatan kemampuan sebuah bangsa untuk bertahan di tengah hegemoni. Sebagaimana Indonesia dengan gigih mempertahankan Deklarasi Djuanda 1957 sebagai nota geopolitik tertulis, yang akhirnya berhasil mempengaruhi hukum laut internasional dan meneguhkan asas negara kepulauan (archipelago state). Sedemikian pentingnya materi geopolitik tersebut seharusnya memiliki andil dalam penguatan ketahanan nasional (national resillience), khususnya strategi pertahanan nasional (national defence). Pendidikan Tinggi Keagamaan Islam Negeri (PTKIN) merupakan media strategis untuk menransformasikan geopolitik terhadap kemampuan warga negara, sebagaimana diketahui Islam merupakan agama terbesar yang dianut oleh rakyat Indonesia, sekaligus memiliki pengaruh krusial bagi ideologi bangsa. Artikel ini mencoba untuk menguak peran pendidikan kewarganegaraan, terutama pada materi wawasan nusantara (national outlook) sebagai nota geopolitik warga negara. Penelitian dalam artikel ini bersifat kualitatif dengan menggunakan model penelitian literatur. Pandangan yang dapat diajukan dalam artikel ini diantaranya antara lain: aspek ideologis geopolitik warga negara seringkali melibatkan nilai-nilai primordial sehingga keutuhan cara pandang terhadapnya menjadi terganggu. Peran lokalisme dan Islam sebagai pembentuk aspek ideologi geopolitik, seharusnya dapat dikemas dengan baik sebagai pengikat identitas bangsa. Dalam hal ini, PTKIN sebagai lembaga pendidikan tinggi yang bercorak khas keislaman, seharusnya mampu menerjemahkan nilai universalitas moral good dalam Islam kepada rasa persatuan umat yang beridentitas kebangsaan. Adapun untuk menuju hal tersebut, PTKIN harus mampu meramu suatu materi terintegratif antara nilai Islam sebagai aras epistemologis ideologi Pancasila dan doktrin pertahanan nasional nirmiliter. Bagaimanapun juga peserta didik di PTKIN adalah sumber daya strategis pertahanan nasional nirmiliter, terutama dalam pembangunan karakter bangsa di tengah masyarakat
