Abstract

Abstract Religion is a phenomenon associated with many dimensions, including the social dimension. Social thinkers such as Durkheim, Marx, and Weber also imply that religion is essentially more of a social aspect than a purely individual thing. Hence it can be said that there is an inevitable connection between religion as one of the social phenomena with many aspects of community life. Religion can also be said to be inseparable from the influence of the context of the society in which the religion develops. These influences can then be carried away in tradition and it is not uncommon to find that the content of religious interpretation has already contained a tendency of certain political interests.Keywords: phenomenon associated, religious, tradition

Abstract

Abstract The problems raised in this paper are; how Islamic idea rahmah li al-alamin K.H. Ahmad Hasyim Muzadi; and this paper reveals that the Islamic idea of rahmah li al-alamin is a term that is contained in the Quran. This idea emerges as a form of reaction or response, in order to wean the lara that is engulfing the Islamic community, especially stigmatization addressed to Islam, as a religion contained in the teachings of seeds that can foster a Muslim to commit acts of violence. As a manifestation of the universalization of Islam, in the context of Indonesia, Islam rahmah li al-alamin takes its form as presented by Walisongo, the pattern of Islam which is propagated by means of peace-building and wisdom to the existence of local culture (Indonesia).  Keywords: Islam rahmah li al-alamin and K.H. Abstract

ABSTRAKIsmatul Izzah, Lecturer of Institute of Islamic Sciences Zainul Hasan (INZAH) Genggong Kraksaan Probolinggo. Research on Dul Kadiran tradition in Wangkal Village of Gading District Probolinggo Regency. This research was conducted in Wangkal Gading Probolinggo. The goal is to know the meaning, traditions and symbols in the event Dul Kadiran. The type and research strategy used by the authors in this research is descriptive qualitative is a study that leads to the detailed description and depth about the portrait condition about what really happened according to what is happening in the field of study. Data collection techniques in this study using interview and observation techniques. Interviews and observations are intended to extract data directly from the resource persons, either with structured or unstructured interviews. The result of the research found that the procession of Dul Kadiran ceremony in Wangkal Village, Gading District, Probolinggo Regency, has religious and spiritual meaning beside it has become a custom and hereditary culture. It can be seen from the meaning and symbols used in the implementation of the ceremony Dul Kadiran. For example, the meaning of Dul Kikut itself is that the children who are prayed to get the ease of God in gaining knowledge, especially in reciting the Quran. This was done by reading the letters of Yasin and Istighosah, then the father of the child prayed to read the letter of Al-Hadid. Every child who started studying the Quran was held selamat dul presence because with the intermediary it can clear the mind so that children more easily and quickly understand about the religious sciences. Symbols used in the ceremony Dul Kadiran for example tumpeng which is covered with banana leaf and inside there is whole chicken, chicken egg, urap-urap whose foliage has also been determined and the good fruit that grows on the ground and that grow in the soil as a complement symbol which has been hereditary carried out by the Society, the meanings contained in the ceremony Dul Kadiran and also the symbols used in the implementation of the ceremony Dul Kadiran can not be separated from the argument of society that states that an object has certain values. Keywords: Religion, Culture and Tradition Dul Attendance Ceremony.

Abstract

Abstract Islam is a rational religion and a scientific religion. As a rational and scientific religion the mark always lays the foundations that conform to scientific standards and can be proved by reason in various shariah and other rule provisions. Rasulullah Saw. as a carrier, spreader and proselytizer of Islamic Sharia laid a solid foundation as a rational religion. This is seen in his words "religion is the intellect and imperfect of ones religion without using reason".As a rational religion, Islam declares its people to always base their activities with knowledge. Without the knowledge of worship is rejected. So Islam commands his people to read, study, research science, both in the perspective of Islamic religious sciences and other general sciences. They are very urgent and significant for the survival of Muslims and Muslims themselves. Science is the key to success (key of success) of all activities. Besides, science is also the standard of civilization left behind and passed on to the next generation. Keywords: rational religion, scientific religion.

Abstract

Abd. AzizAbstract: According to Al-Farabi, philosophy is a knowledge of materiel and a way to investigate the real essence of universe. Whereas religion, according to J.G. Frazer, is a devotion to God who puts in order universe movement. When philosophy and religion are faced one and other, both of them are looked like something incompatible, even in factually they are completing each other. In order  to have a better religion, someone needs to have his rationality in the way of understanding religion. And also, to control philosophy which is based on rationality, philosophy needs a religion guidance. Many people perceive that philosophy could not be in harmony with religion, since philosophy anchored its idea to the rationalistic-empiricism basics and religion based its idea to the transcendentally dalîlof Supra Causa. Therefore, Emile Durkheim said, religion was a mystical paradigm where rationality could not get into. So did Auguste Comte, he said  people need a religion only when he had no ability to develop his rationality. Even contrary, does religion order people to always "think"? and also, if people have a great rationality, people will realize that to achieve the balance of using, his rationality must be restrained and religion is the best restrainer, this was what al-Ghazali stated. So, actually, philosophy can strengthen the religious soul of people, since philosophy can interpret the universality of the dalîl, philosophy can systemize and definite religious order, philosophy can solve the new problem which is not  stated in the dalîl, and of course philosophy also can be a tool to criticize a variety of unlogical  religious ideology.Keywords: philosophy, and religion

Abstract

Salamah Eka Susanti Abstract: The doctrine of salvation is an important concept that is common to every religion. Therefore, each religion claims to be the savior (Salvator) for each of its followers. In Protestant Christianity for example, there is a doctrine known as "No Salvation Outside Christianity", beyond Christianity there is no salvation. Likewise in Catholic Christianity, adhering to, a doctrine that mentions "Extra Ecclesiam Nulla Salus", outside the church there is no salvation. For Judaizers, the doctrine of "The Chosen People" becomes their theological foundation that only Jews will gain salvation. Whereas in Islam itself, the theological argument of salvation as their own is based on the doctrine of ultimate cessionism (ie, Christianity and Judaism) remains valid before the coming of the new (Islamic) rule that replaces the old rule, the new rule by itself cancel the previous rule. This argument is based primarily on the verse (إن الد ين عند الله الاء سلام) .If historically examined, all religions without exception, both tertiary and non-theistic are born and have a claim to the truth about the assurance of salvation, whether expressed explicitly or implicitly. In other words, no religion does not have a doctrine of salvation because the claim of salvation is something that is already inherent in every religion.Keywords: Concepts, Salvation, Al-Quran.

Budi Harianto  Abstract: The definition of Ahl al-Sunnah Wa al-Jamaah resulted from the construction of Kiai Said Aqil Sirojs thought ie Ahl al-Sunnah Wa al-Jamaah as manhaj al-fikr al-din al-syamil ala syuun al-hayat wa muqtadhayatiha al-qaim ala asas al-tawassuth wa al-tawazun wa al itidad wa al-tasamuh (a method of religious thought that encompasses all aspects of life and stands on the principle of equilibrium in aqidah, mediator and adhesive in social life, and justice and tolerance in politics). Kyai Said Aqil Sirojs typology of thought is an inclusive (open) religious typology and the Ahl al-Sunnah Wa al-Jamaah perspective of Kiai Said can be said of the inclusiveness of Ahl al-Sunnah Wa al-Jamaah. So Ahl al-Sunnah Wa al-Jamaah must contain tawasut, tasamuh, tawazun and itidal in acting or thinking. So as to respond to new things in modern life such as human rights.   Endah Tri Wisudaningsih  Abstract : Controlling, whether in terms of supervision or control by most societies, is often interpreted as an attempt by a manager or supervisory agency as an activity to find fault. In fact, if carefully understood, the function of supervision or control is actually as one of the strengths to make improvements if the results or services that have been standardized is not in accordance with the expected results. Standardization is one of the initial actions of the planning process and that standard must be reliable and reliable as a basis for evaluating and comparing through surveillance activities. Standardization of the planning process is intended for the achievement of organizational goals or effectiveness, while supervision is more focused on the implementation process and the results of productivity, both in the form of goods or services. Yunus Abstract: This paper examines the exegesis of al-Munir by Wahbah az-Zuhayli, Tafsir al-Munir is a classical commentary packed with contemporary language and combines the classical interpretive orientalist and the beauty of his interpretation so easily understood. This commentary is written because the Wahbah is concerned over the view of the classical commentary that offers no solution to contemporary problems. The method used is the tahlili method whose interpretation at the beginning of each letter takes precedence over the virtue and the contents of the letter. And his tafsir style combines the interpretation of bi al-Rayi and the interpretation bi al-Riwayah. Abstract

RohmatAbstract: The study want to explain the maening of "I have not got hidayah" which is spoken by Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (BTP). For some Muslems these utterence mean positive, therefore, it give simpatic for non_muslem’s speaker.To explain othe meaning of a certain utterence need a language analisys callad Discourse Analysis or Pragmatic Language Analisys (PLA). PLA is a study about the use of language which try to elaborate language, spoken or verbally with its contex. The basic concept of PLA as explained by Wijana is Spoken’s contex, spoken’s act, Implicatu, Principle of teamwork, and unpolitely. Discourse Analisys is comphrenship analisys to understand the spoken’s utterence which make some mis understanding.The results shows those utterence is just to guide some opinions of the listeners in order to act casually to Islam.
