English for Specific Purposes (ESP) learning process in higher education often administered less effectively. One of the contributing factors is the lack of learning plan so that learning is irrelevant to the field of science they are capable of. Therefore, it is necessary to start plan the learning by conducting need analysis based on students’ requirement on learning English. This study aims to find and describe the needs of students of English on early childhood education program. This research was carried by using qualitative descriptive approach. The objects of this research are students of early childhood education department class of 2016/2017 Universitas Trunojoyo Madura. Data were collected through questionnaires and conducting direct interviews. The collected data were classified so that the needs of the students on learning English can be identified, then described respectively. The results showed that (1) the English mastery of students was still relatively low, (2) 50% of students placed an increase in oral communication or speaking skills (Speaking) and 30% writing as a top priority in learning English for preparation to apply a job, (3) during learning English, students expected an improvement on their skills related to both oral and written. Based on these results, it is suggested to manage syllabus planning and the development of English teaching materials in early childhood education programs.

Early childhood curriculum mention about early literacy teaching literacy in the form of recognition of letters and numbers in accordance with the stages of child development. Through a training needs assessment result in mind that the skills and knowledge of teachers TK about teaching early literacy in accordance with sub-optimal child development stages. This makes preschool teachers need to improve early literacy teaching skills. Training in the use of this method of print referencing is donein an attempt to add the teaching skills of preschool teachers as facilitators of learning early literacy. The training participants were 10 kindergarten teachers. Data obtained from interviews, observations before and after training, as well as teacher knowledge test. Observation result were analyzed with statistical data analysis techniques of non parametic wilcoxon signed rank test with test scores observation of teaching skills of the participants before and after training. Analysis of the results obtaine by the value of significance (2-tailed) was 0,008 0,05. From these results in significant differences between teachers skill in early literacy instruction before and after training. So it can be concluded that an effective training method print referencing to improve teachers skills ini teaching early literacy. Whereas the results of knowledge there is no significant difference. The effectiveness of this method can be significant because it is influenced by intrinsic and extrinsic motivation of trainees.

Independence is an important stage in a child‟s development task and need trained, so it will be individuals who are independence to teenagers and even into adulthood later. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of socio-dramatic play to increase the independence of pre-school age children. The method used in this study was a quasi experimental, with the design of the study one group pretest-posttest. Subjects were 10 children of preschool age. Interrater reliability using the reliability, by calculating the observation of tree-observer agreement. From the calculation of the level of reliability of the measuring instrument used is obtained from the three observers more than 50%,which means that the reliability of observation quite reliable pass judgment on those aspects of independence. Test the validity of the used content validity were obtained by professional judgment. Data were analyzed using Wilcoxon signed rank test to determine differences before and after a given treatment.Recording the measurement result using rating pretest and posttest was found there are significant differences in the preschool child‟s independence. Significance value obtained after the Wilcoxon signed rank test calculations are (2-tailed) 0,005 0,05. So it can be concluded that the socio-dramatic play effective in increasing independence in preschoolers.

The aim of this research is to improve the communication skills of children through the method of pictorial stories applied to group B ECD Gemilang in the District of Maulafa, Kota Kupang. This is a type of Classroom Action Research that consists of four stages in each cycle, they are: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The main focus of this research is to improve children's skills and ability to communicate through this pictorial story method. Nineteen children have been included in this study and the data has been collected through observation and tests. The results show that the average score of pre-cycle is 37.57%, the one of the first cycle is 57.89% and 100% is the average score achieved in the second cycle. Looking at these results, it can be stated that using pictorial stories in a learning process can improve children’s communication skills and ability.

Applying religion value is one of the more dominating learning in RA (Raudhatul Athfal) Darul Ulum. The applying of religion values include learning of Qur'an and Al Hadith also Islamic Education. Based on the parent’s observations, the applying religion values can be the interest point to form parent’sperception. This study aimmed to investigate the implementation, activities, results, and the parent’s perception of applying religious values in groups A1 and A2 RA Darul Ulum to form the parent’s perception. The research sample of this study are 33 parents. The writer uses quantitative approach. The techniques of data collection are questionnaires, observations, interviews, and documentations. This study uses data analysis techniques of statistics descriptive and hypothesis test by using t test of right side. The results of the data analysis of applying religion value can be known that the percentage of applying religion values is 96%, the activity percentage of applying religion values is 75%, the result percentage of applying religion values is 68%, and the perception percentage of applying religion values is 82%. Based on the percentage results can be inferred that applying religion value in RA Darul Ulum is very effective to form parent’s perception.

Fatherless can be defined as the absence of a father either physically or psychologically in the child’s life. Fatherless emergence factors may be caused by a divorce, the death of the father, the separation because of problems in the marriage relationship or health problems. Separation between father and son in theform of separation due to the frequency of meetings are rare, although living together but not fully involved in educating children. Fatherless effects experienced by children can be a psychological shock, so that children feel disappointed, frustrated, lazy, not the spirit, which all affect the learning process in schools. Children often feel less motivated than those closest to him, so that the need for achievement, especially in schools is not so considered that decreased.

Learning in early childhood has been done through studying and playing activities. Based on the result of pre-observations in TK Pertiwi 1 Getas found that the teachers do the learning process through fun physical activities to develop children's physical motoric. Physical activities are expected to develop the children’s indirectly i.e. submissive and orderly in the game of physical activities. The physical activities are like jump rope game, trains game, ducts ball, throwing ball, gymnastics, and zig-zag running. The physical activities are based on Standards Rate of Achievement Child Development aged 5-6 years. This study is purposed to determine the correlation between physical activities and children’s discipline. This study uses quantitative approach and correlational research techniques. The technique of collecting data is through observations, interviews, and documentations. The data analysis is using Pearson Product Moment Correlation. The research subject of this study is the 27 students of group B. The results of data analysis found the correlation value is 0.29 and the contribution of physical activities and children’s discipline is 8.41%. The data analysis shows a low correlation between physical activities and children’s discipline. The low correlation is caused by the teachers have been growing the discipline through habituation in learning process.

Teachers are the critical success factors of an educational process. Teachers must have competence in educating one of the competencies of teachers is professional competence. Professional competence describes the ability of teachers to master learning materials. The purpose of this study is to analyze the competence of paud teachers who have completed the S1 study located in Siak regency. The method used is quantitative decryption by conducting tests on 36 teachers. From the results of the research can be seen that the indicators included in the low category is Mastering the basic concepts of health and nutrition as a means of development for each field of development of children with a value of 44.44%, understand the ability of children kindergarten in every field of development 43.52%, and understand the progress of children in every field development in kindergarten 49.07%. From the results of this study can be seen that the three indicators are categorized as low compared with other indicators of professional competence.

The focus of this research is to find out how smart home efforts in protecting the future of children affected by parents who become TKI in community-based Gondang Legi TKI. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study strategy. Results: (1) protecting the future AUD through smart home in the district Yasmin Gondang Legi done through reading centers, play centers, computer centers, center stage and craft centers; (2) smart home program has not been able to reach the entire early childhood education in the district area Gondang Legi, but some AUD participating in learning activities in reading centers, play centers and center stage; (3) support from various parties, especially from central and regional government is very helpful for early childhood to make his choice to be independent even though much of the attention of the biological parent. Social commitment shown by the tutor and the manager is a form of support that is very huge implications for early childhood development.

The ability of the child’s motor skills to achieve optimal results will not growup. So if it is not learned, the ability to improve the child’s motor is very low. To overcome this problem, in this case carried out research to improve fine motor through the creation of a natural clay using action research. This study involved children aged 4-5 years in RA Darul Ulum Bogobabadan Karangbinangun Lamongan. This study examines how the implemention of the game makes a natural clay and hw to improve fine motor skills of children through the game makes a natural clay. Besides that, also needed to develop the creativity of the child so that the child’s intellectual children more confident about what they are doing. This research was conducted in two cycles. One cycle consists of two activities that mix and knead the dough and make free creations of dough platisin. The results of the cycle there is still a failure of both these activities, children are still many who received a three star rating (good) is only 16,66 %. While in the second cycle of the two activities the children who received three-star rating (good) achieve the assessment criteria above average, reaching 63,33%, of the assessment criteria of at least 60,00%. Therefore this research has achieved success in improving fine motor.
