Abstract

Community-based tourism is the concept of tourism development by prioritizing the active participation of the community with the aim of providing welfare for them while maintaining environmental quality, and protecting their social and cultural life. One of the legacies of Bali's cultural heritage which is also used as a tourist attraction is Batuan Village Temple which is located in Batuan Village, Sukawati District, Gianyar Regency, Bali. This study examines three problems, namely: (1) How is the application of the concept of community-based tourism in managing cultural heritage as a tourist attraction in Batuan Temple?; (2) What factors support the application of the concept of community based tourism in the management of cultural heritage as a tourist attraction in Batuan Village Temple?; and (3) What is the model of community based tourism in cultural heritage management as a tourist attraction in Batuan Village Temple?. This research is a qualitative research method of collecting data through observation, interviews, and documentation. Informants in this study were selected by purposive sampling method. Data analysis was carried out descriptively, qualitatively, and interpretatively. The results showed that the management of cultural heritage of  Batuan Village Temple as a tourist attraction has applied the four principles of community based tourism, those are; the principle of community participation; principles of nature conservation; the principle of the local economy; and socio-cultural conservation principles. The factors that support the application of the concept of community based tourism in Batuan Village include: tourism potential owned by Batuan Village, the aspirations of the villagers of Batuan Village, the synergy among tourism stakeholders in Batuan Village, the support of the Gianyar Regency Government, and social capital owned by villagers of Batuan Village. Abstract

The evolution of the implementation of wariga dewasa is reflected in the transformation of the day or padewasan for the panca yajña ceremony in the Hindu community in Mataram City. As a result of the rational, pragmatic and critical rationale of modern urban society, with negative access to individual nature and consumerism dominated by industrial pragmatic interests. The implementation of wariga dewasa can be seen from the nunas dewasa tradition for the Dewa Yajña, Pitra Yajña and Butha Yajña ceremonies that have not changed much, especially the Rsi Yajña ceremony with the Guru Nabe hegemony in the aguron-guron tradition. The change in the implementation of wariga dewasa occurred at the Manusa Yajña ceremony from the quality of the padewasan based on alahing sasih, which is increasingly supported by the banten pemarisudha mala dewasa as a neutralizing for the influence of dewasa ala from the day of the ceremony. Transformation is caused by changes in the system of values and beliefs of society, globalization, economic influence and the existence of manggala yajña. Resulting in the degradation of the symbolic meaning of wariga dewasa, social and cultural changes, for example changes in the tradition of nunas padewasan, the negative influence of populist economic development on economic aspects, and redefinition of people's perceptions about the effects of padewasan and the purpose of banten pemarisudha mala dewasa.

Abstract

Education is one of the most important things when plunging into the society, no exception when it comes to religion. Definition of how important education and religion are inseparable. They who embraced the Hindu taught about their beliefs through formal education in schools, but there are always shortages that make the educational levels of our religion becomes very low. And one of the problem is the process of learning theory and practice in Hindu religious are rated more boring because it contains lectures and stories. Besides, the education system in our country has too many anomalies since the beginning. One example is the system want to spawn a quality product, but they did not consider the best time per subject for students studying in the school. And also, as an educator, there are many things that can happen that make their time to teaching students with face-to-face is lost. Have workshops, go to meetings and fulfill their administrative duties as educators who make their exclusion of students. This is a system that shows the lack of quality of learning but educators would like to encourage the students involved in the process of learning to make it work. Here, the author would like to give a simple solution of saving time educators without lowering the quality time to teach and skipped a meeting at school. This application named Screencast O Matic.

Abstract

Barong and Rangda have become part of culture and religion in the tradition of Hindu religion. The Barong and Rangda tradition is a ritual process or pratima that is very sacred. The scary forms of both often scare children, but is greatly admired and adored since it is considered a protector from danger and disaster. If Barong and Rangda are worshiped in horrifying figures, it is then not uncommon for non-Hindus to assume that Hindus worship Satan because their description of Satan relates to scary things. Based on the above, there are three essential points to focus in this article. First, how the concepts of Barong and Rangda are in Hindu Literature; second, how Barong and Rangda are in Balinese Culture; and third, how the religious system of Barong and Rangda is in Hindu rituals. In analyzing these three topics, the researcher applied qualitative method to explain Hindu literary sources based on religious theory. The Barong and Rangda conception is in the Hindu literature, namely the Purana books and the books that have been adapted in Old Javanese literature. In the Purana books, Barong and Rangda can be associated with the manifestation of Shiva and Durga in the aspect of Krodha. Second, Balinese culture sets Barong and Rangda in the Sacred and Profane realms. Barong and Rangda become Wali Dance during religious rituals. Third,  the Hindu Religious System explains that Barong and Rangda is the concept of Shivaistic divine teachings which explains the dualistic aspects of God as Purusa and Prakerti as a whole unit.

Religious education is a pattern of learning dimensions that represent not only education in the formal, informal, or non-formal sense. The religious dimension that guides the community into multicultural life is built on equal right and life. The identical treatment of various differences, both religion and social status of a person is an absolute service that must be provided to everyone, so there is no one-sided discrimination against likes or dislikes, or majority or minority. Disclosure of the dominance of the majority and minority systems in Menjing has become a phenomenon examined in this study which is a struggle for the ideological dimension of the religious system between Hinduism and Islam in Menjing Village.
