Abstract

This study seeks to examine and analyze the socio-economic relationship carried out by horticultural farmers in the distribution of agricultural products, namely with toke. In this study using qualitative research methods descriptive type. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation with informant determination by purposive sampling. The results showed that farmers are related to toke, which is a distribution agent who buys farmers' agricultural products, in this relationship a pattern of dependence between farmers and toke, because farmers get guaranteed and guaranteed income. Trusting, emotional and honest relationships are strengths in marketing. Due to economic, and socio-cultural factors, farmers benefit economically and form farmer habits from a set of knowledge, cultural practices and behaviors that exist in an individual as a result of his interaction with the local environment. Juxtaposed with the theory of peasant rationality, the moral economic problems of peasants who have to struggle to live on the boundary line of subsistence. Farmers will use the concept of "safety first" as an option, when they are faced with taking risks, and that choice according to Scott is a rational choice.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the condition of the characteristics of the residents' houses in Bukit Malintang village, Sungai Aur Subistrict, West Pasaman Regency. This type of research is descriptive with survey methods and quantitative analysis with a total sample of 40 residential houses. Based on the research, it was found that 52.4% had a ceiling height of ≥ 2.4 m and 5% had a height of ≤ 2.4 m and all the ceilings of these residents' houses were easy to clean. Most of the residents' houses have a rough cement floor of 70%, some houses already use ceramics and granite with a percentage of 17.5%, 5% plank flooring, the condition of the floor is also easy to clean, for the condition of doors, windows and ventilation as much as 100% functioning properly and in good condition. Clean water sources from PAM are 60%, water sources from wells are 27.5% and there are several houses that have two sources of clean water as much as 12.5%. From one house to another, the number of family members varied greatly, the number of family members with more than 4 people was 70% and the number of family members with less than 4 people was 30%. The number of rooms in each house is of course also different where as much as 5% have 1 room, 52.5% have 2 rooms, 37.5% have 3 rooms and as much as 5% have 4 rooms but all of them do not have a minimum area of 8 m2. The average house area is 6 x 12 m2 , 6.5 x 12 m2 and 6.5 x 11 m2 . At home residents also already have a source of lighting / artificial lighting (electricity). Disposal of household waste, on average, already has a safe distance from the house so it doesn't smell and contaminate clean water. There are still a number of houses that do not have proper sanitation and still live in mosques or prayer rooms around their homes

Abstract

This research is a continuation of previous research on measuring the erodibility of the soil in the Bayang Sani watershed. This research aims to reveal the level of erosion hazard by estimating the volume of soil lost in a field when erosion occurs in the Bayang Sani watershed. This research is quantitative research with a survey method. Data collection techniques were measured in the field and analyzed quantitatively using the Universal Soil Loss Equation (USLE) formula. The results obtained in this study were the level of erosion hazard in the Bayang Sani watershed, namely heavy and very heavy (8.22 – 36.07 tons/ha/year. The weight category on land units V3.III.Ht.Tomp.Lat (8, 22) and very heavy F3.II.Kc.Qal.Lat (33.31 tons/ha/year), V2.II.Kc.Tomp.Lat 36.07 tons/ha/year), V2.II.Sm. Comp. Lat (29.25 tons/ha/year).

Abstract

Sosopan hot spring tourism is one of the tourist destinations located in the Nagari Rabi Jonggor area, Gunung Tuleh sub-district, West Pasaman Regency, this tour is one of the tours that has not been exposed or there are still many people who do not know about these tourist attractions. Even though the hot springs are very interesting to visit and there are many benefits for visitors to these tours, one of which is that visitors can take treatment in these hot waters and also at these tourist sites offer the beauty of the natural panorama of West Pasaman Regency. So that researchers are very interested in developing Sosopan Hot Spring tourism in Nagari Rabi Jonggor, Gunung Tuleh sub-district, West Pasaman Regency. There are several obstacles in developing hot spring tourism in Nagari Rabi Jonggor, namely as follows; Inadequate accessibility, inadequate facilities, poor security, poor hygiene and poor service. By conducting an analysis using the interpretive structural modeling (ISM) model, there are five sub-elements that have high driver power and low dependency, namely; E1 (inadequate accessibility), E2 (poor facilities), E3 (poor security), E4 (poor cleanliness), E7 (poor service). Constraints in the development of Rabi Jonggor Nagari hot spring tourism, Gunung Tuleh sub-district, West Pasaman Regency, there are five levels and priority directions in overcoming obstacles, namely accessibility and facilities.

Abstract

Study This aim know description condition social economics and description level education in Bukit Malintang Village , Sungai Aur District , District West Pasaman in West Sumatra Province . Analysis is done using secondary data and surveys field . Research _ This use approach descriptive qualitative Study This focus analysis on conditions social and economic public Bukit Malintang Village which includes amount population , number of households, background behind ethnicity , religion, interaction social , age , level education , income , and employment ( eyes livelihood ). explain existing phenomenon _ with give description in a manner clear and appropriate with facts on the ground in detail later served in form map , As for the method data collection , namely primary data and secondary data , which was carried out with method survey right on location research and obtained through Bappeda . As for the results analysis performed _ in Bukit Malintang Village The nationality of the Aur River is village resident transmigrants _ originate from The majority of Lolo intersections resident dominant is ethnic group mandailing and a small portion ethnic group java . Livelihoods are dominated by farmers _ garden palm with with percentage of 57.5 %, as farmer besides palm ie paddy fields or fields by 35%, percentage resident as civil servants 5% and residents as head elementary school 2.5%. Resident own income per month with amount Rp . 2,000,000, - the most dominating with percentage of 57.5%. Group working age and as _ head the average family is dominated in the group aged 45-49 years with percentage of 57.5%. At the average education level of the population in Bukit Malintang Village is school elementary (SD) with the percentage is 62.5% and the education level of children in Bukit Malintang Village is also at the highest level Elementary School (SD) but already 17.07% of the population has children Already up to Undergraduate Education (S1). Abstract

This study seeks to examine the strategy of developing songket craft business in increasing income in Nagari Pandai Sisek, X Koto District. This type of research is descriptive, which aims to find out the value of the independent variable without connecting or making comparisons with other variables. The data used in this study is qualitative data in the form of answers through interviews and literature studies. In analyzing data using SWOT analysis techniques. The results of this study show that there is still a need for a market development strategy by expanding cooperation with travel and tourism buses that will take visitors to the songket crafts center. Including improving access and widening roads to facilitate vehicles coming both at home and abroad. In addition, it also needs to expand marketing through social media.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to study the development strategy of the Orange Garden Café Parak Dt. Timbijo in Nagari Koto Laweh, Tanah Datar Regency. This research method uses SWOT analysis, namely by developing conditions and evaluating a problem and projecting it into an applicable business concept. Researchers also conduct comprehensive and focused research to obtain complete and detailed data about those studied through observation and direct fieldwork. Parak Orange Garden Café is located in the middle of Koto Laweh Nagari whose position is not difficult to access. Parak Tourism Cafe Kebun Jeruk dt. Timbijo can generate income for its owner. To enter Parak Agrotourism Cafe Kebun Jeruk Dt. Timbijo tourists do not need to pay for entrance tickets, it's just that they are required to order the existing menu. If tourists want to bring home citrus fruits can buy directly at the orange plantation at a price of Rp 2 5,000 per kilo can be picked alone or assisted by employees at Parak Café. Agrotourism Parak Kafe Kebun Jeruk Dt. Timbijo in its development has not been able to fully cooperate with the Nagari government and the local community so in its control assisted by the presence of competent human resources. From Parak café, it can be found that there are 13 strategies that need to be developed in Parak Agrotourism, Orange Garden Cafe, Dt. Timbijo, then it is also necessary that promotional activities can be done through social networks to spread the news of other passengers and can be added to the existing facilities and infrastructure in Parak Agrotourism, Orange Garden Cafe, Dt. Timbijo.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine and analyze the forms and factors of social interaction that occur in the Koto Baru market. In this study using descriptive qualitative research methods. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation by determining informants by purposive sampling. The results of this study indicate that there is social interaction in the Koto Baru market is divided into two categories, namely associative and dissociative social interactions. Associative social interaction involves cooperation, assimilation and accommodation between vegetable sellers in the market. Cooperation occurs between traders and traders, traders and customers, traders and carriers of goods, and traders and traders outside the city. Assimilation occurs when traders from different cultures adopt practices and norms that are accepted by the majority group. While accommodation occurs in the settlement of conflicts between traders by the head of the market. Several factors influence the occurrence of social interaction in the Koto Baru market. First, there is imitation between vegetable traders where they imitate each other's ways of selling, prices of goods, and how to attract the attention of buyers. Second, identification is carried out by vegetable traders by placing signs or price tags on the merchandise to make it easier for buyers to know the price. Finally, suggestions are given through a friendly attitude and good communication between vegetable traders, which can influence other buyers and traders.

Abstract

Technology that is increasingly developing and sophisticated, can make students also create without limits. The Canva website is one of the platforms that can be utilized by teachers and students in packaging learning, both inside and outside the classroom in a more fun and interesting way. In this study, the Canva website was used to create geography comics, especially hydrosphere material, as an effort to improve the creative thinking skills of class X students at SMAN 1 Rupat. This study used a quasi-experimental method with a quantitative approach involving experimental and control classes. The results of statistical calculations show that the use of the Canva website as a medium for making comics is quite effective in improving students' creative thinking skills. So that in the future it is highly recommended that educators/teachers use the Canva website with a longer time allocation for the habituation of students so that it can produce even better creative thinking skills and can make the Canva website more efficient and effective for learning media.

Abstract

Forest is an ecosystem unit in the form of expanses of land containing biological natural resources dominated by trees in their natural environment, which cannot be separated from one another. The study of geography cannot be separated from the reality of human life on the earth's surface as a result of interactions between humans and geographical phenomena on the earth's surface. This study aims to analyze the Utilization of Forest Areas Utilization of Educational Forest Areas of Fastabiqul Khairat Paus Iskarni Rabi Jonggor Village as a source of learning Biosphere Geography material and to find out the factors that inhibit the Utilization of Educational Forest Areas of Fastabiqul Khairat Paus Iskarni Rabi Jonggor Village as a source of learning Geography of biosphere material . Data collection in this study was carried out in a natural setting, that is, primary data sources. Data collection techniques in this study included observation, in-depth interviews, documentation, field notes and literature studies. However, this research will collect more data through observation of the Rabi Jonggor ethnic community, as well as observing the stages passed through participatory observation, in-depth interviews with the Rabi Jonggor ethnic community. The environment (physical, social, or cultural) is a very rich source of learning materials. The environment can act as a source of learning, but also as an object of study (learning resource). The use of the environment as a learning resource often makes students feel happy in learning. Utilization of the environment can develop a number of skills such as observing (with all the senses), taking notes, formulating questions, hypothesizing, classifying, writing, and making pictures or diagrams.
