Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategy for developing one of the tourist objects in Nagari Rabi Jonggor, Gunung Tuleh District, West Pasaman Regency. The Sosopan Simpanglolo Hot Springs is one of the health tourism destinations that is unique, different from other hot springs. This study shows that by using the quantitative SWOT analysis method which emphasizes the Internal Factor Analysis Summary (IFAS) matrix which includes strengths and weaknesses with a resulting score of 3.60. As for the External Factor Analysis Summary (EFAS), which includes opportunities and threats with a resulting score of 2.75. This shows that the Sosopan Simpanglolo Hot Springs has a sufficiently strong internal capacity to continue efforts to develop supporting infrastructure for tourism objects, by improving access to road facilities to tourist objects it will be able to increase internal resources which are its strengths. In its external capacity, Sosopan Simpanglolo Hot Springs can respond and take advantage of existing opportunities by encouraging the growth and development of the tourism industry and utilizing the natural potential of tourist attractions, to attract tourists to increase external resources which become opportunities by minimizing threats that exist at the location of tourist attractions. The results of this research study are expected to have implications for all parties to pay serious attention to the development of the Sosopan Simpanglolo Hot Springs tourist attraction.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the Koto Baru Market as an effort to improve the economy of the community in X Koto sub-district, Tanah Datar Regency. Using descriptive research using qualitative methods, that is, providing an overview of research questions related to the potential of traditional markets to improve the community's economy. Koto baru Traditional market research uses this type of research because qualitative research usually examines the behavior and activities of an organization to obtain as much information as possible. About the possibility of traditional markets to improve the economy of the koto baru community which is the focus of research researchers. Then all information received in the field is collected in the form of words, such as words/behaviors and judgments, with the natural background of the person as an environment. This knowledge is then used to explain and describe the social phenomenon being studied. Qualitative methods are used to get deep data, some data contains meaning, meaning is actual data, solid data is something valuable behind visible data. Pasar Koto Baru is located in Kenagarian Koto Baru, X Koto District, Tanah Datar Regency which is very strategically located and very easy to reach because of easy road access. Pasar Koto Baru is a market that is included in the category of old markets because it was established in approximately 1895, the Koto Baru market which was originally very simple finally gradually changed until it became a traditional market. On this day the koto baru market has experienced a fairly rapid development The koto baru market operates on Mondays and Tuesdays, but at this time the koto baru market It has started operating on Sundays starting at noon ranging from 13.00 WIB to 18.00 WIB. The presence of the new koto market has sought to improve the community's economy, with the existence of this koto baru market people's income increases and social interaction of the community is increasing.

Abstract

The traditional market is a supporting sector in the community's economy. However, the existence of traditional markets also has several aspects of weakness that really need to be rearranged again. Likewise with the existence of a traditional market in the new Koto village, X Koto District, Tanah Datar Regency, West Sumatra Province, which has experienced many problems. This study used qualitative research methods. Qualitative research is research to find out a phenomenon as it is from a research topic. Thus, for this reason, the topic of the unit of analysis in this study is the Management of the Koto Baru Traditional Market, X Koto District. Based on research results, one of the phenomena that often occurs in Pasar Koto Baru is the frequent traffic jams that occur every Monday. This happened because Pasar Koto Baru is the largest central vegetable market in West Sumatra, but the location of Pasar Koto Baru is narrow. So that with these market conditions, the Koto Baru market has piles and spills of vegetables all the way to the Padang Bukittingg main road every Monday. In addition to the problem of spatial management of the Koto Baru market, other problems can also be seen in the Koto Baru market, such as the problem of piles of garbage in the Koto Baru market. This happens because there is no landfill. Garbage must be brought to the TPA in Batusangkar. However, the management of the various problems that occurred in the Koto Baru market was good because the Tesebur market was directly managed by the Koto Baru village government, X Koto Baru District, Tanah Datar Regency. Management of retribution already . Thus it will become the government's capital in an effort to improve the reorganization of the Koto Baru market more optimally. The existence of the Koto Baru market greatly boosted the economy of the people of Koto Baru country

Abstract

The aim of this study is to analyze the growth of the agricultural sector in the Angek Water Vegetable Producing Area, X Koto District, Tanah Datar Regency. The method used in this study is descriptive with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used observation and interviews. From the data analysis conducted, the research results show that Aia Angek's natural resources are rich in natural resources, especially vegetables, and good soil conditions provide a comparative advantage for agriculture in the area. In addition, the role of a skilled and qualified workforce in increasing production productivity and efficiency is also an important factor. The market acts as a bridge between agricultural producers and consumers, and has a direct impact on the sustainability and growth of the agricultural sector. Investments in transportation and logistics infrastructure, access to market information, and building strong partnerships are important strategies to increase market access for farmers and agricultural producers. Through Weber's location theory framework, this study also explains the relationship between these factors and the location of the agricultural industry in Aia Angek.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the strategy of the potential development of horticultural crop agrotourism in Kenagarian Aie Angek, X koto District, Tanah Datar Regency. The method used in this study is a descriptive approach, for the analysis of the study is to use SWOT analysis which seeks to find out various internal and external factors from a study studied. From the research that has been carried out and the results of the analysis show that the strategy of horticultural crop development in Nagari Aie Angek, X Koto District, especially farmers who absorb horticultural crops, experience various obstacles such as disruption of horticultural crops from pests and diseases and uncertain climate. However, UPTD Aie Angek horticultural crops continue to strive to cultivate the potential of horticultural agrotourism with various efforts and designs on how horticultural crops can ensure the economy of the community in Aie Angek District, X Koto District, Tanah Datar Regency

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the potential development strategy for carving souvenir crafts in Pandai Sikek village, X Koto District, Tanah Datar Regency. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods through field observations, interviews and documentation. The technique used in this study is the SWOT analysis technique. From the results of the research, five Pandai Sikek souvenirs were found. Nine name motifs from seven traditional Minangkabau carvings were found on five souvenir prints. The typical souvenirs of Pandai Sikek are made of Suria wood, the process uses tools in the form of flying chisels and Sodok chisels.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the strawberry (Fragaria sp.) agritourism development system is located in Tanah Datar Regency, Nagari Pandai Sikek. In addition, through direct observation and field research, researchers conducted extensive and focused research to obtain complete and precise data on the subject matter under study. The manager and the community can benefit financially from the strawberry garden (Fragaria sp.) in Jorong Koto Tinggi Nagari Pandai Sikek District X Koto Tanah Datar Regency. Since its opening, this strawberry garden attraction has continued to attract tourists. Methodology for Development of Strawberry Nursery Agrotourism (Fragaria sp.) in Sikek Nagari Pandai: 1. S-O strategy 2. S-T strategy 3. S-T strategy 4. W-O strategy 5. W-T strategy 6. W-T strategy 7. W-O strategy 8. W-T strategy 9. W-T strategy 10. W-O strategy 11. W-T strategy 12. W-T strategy W-O strategy 4. W-T strategy W-T procedure. Strawberry (Fragaria sp.) agritourism has a lot of potential for future business opportunities. Twelve alternative strategies were identified through SWOT analysis, resulting in the following prioritized order of strategies: (1) Maintain the quality of goods, (2) Distinguish strawberry seedlings and other crops, (3) Provide strawberry-handled goods in turn, (4) Select capable representatives, (5) Add offices and frameworks, (6) Advance through extension, (7) Provide instructional visits and culinary visits, (8) Assist regions and local governments, (9) Follow and maintain existing offices, (10) Implement good agricultural practices, and (11) Seek better transportation access.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the marketing strategy of minang indo jali to handicraft businessin Nagari Pandai Sikek, X Koto District, Tanah Datar Regency. Related research methods used are descriptive qualitative research methods, through observation, interviews, and documentation with SWOT analysis. The results of the study show that handicrafts in Nagari PandaiSikek have diversity, but there is one of the many handicraft businesses there, namely Minang Indo Jalito. Minangindojalito handicrafts have uniqueness, this uniqueness can be seen from the results of handicraft production, such as woven fabrics, party bags combined with songket fabric, embroidery, suji, clutchbags, embroidery clutchbags and many others, the design of these handicrafts is based on the times, so that the crafts in produksi are not outdated. In marketing its handicraft products, Minang Indo Jalito uses Facebook as an internet media in promoting its trade goods, as well as using other internet media.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the implementation of local economic development contained in natural tourism climbing Mount Merapi in Nagari Aie Angek, X Koto District, Kabupataen, Tanah Datar. Local economic development (PEL) through natural tourism Climbing Mount Merapi in Nagari Aie Angek has been going well and running with existing rules. High community participation is the key to the survival of tourism and also the economic improvement of the surrounding community. The results showed that local economic development in Nagari Aie Angek has fulfilled six aspects contained in the first PEL target group. The PEL target group in developing the local economy of the Nagari Aie Angek area involves local communities, Second, the factor of Mount Merapi climbing tourism location has been well developed by connecting the main road with easily accessible tourist sites, Third, the synergy of Mount Merapi climbing tourism is an alternative to achieve the welfare of its community. Fourth, sustainable development where the development of natural tourism is the main long-term to improve community welfare. Fifth, partnerships with local governments and BKSDA with the community, Sixth, the management of the natural tourism sector of Mount Merapi Climbing is carried out in a mutual cooperation manner by involving all community stakeholders, traditional leaders and the Nagari government.

Abstract

The vision of the Faculty of Education and Teacher Training at Pattimura University is to create an outstanding faculty that produces professional, innovative, and ethical educators. The mission of the faculty is to produce graduates who have academic ability, strong character, and reliable professional skills. The purpose of this research is to measure the level of academic community understanding about the implementation of the vision and mission, and to provide strategies to achieve them. The study was conducted at the Faculty of Education and Teacher Training at Pattimura University, using a quantitative descriptive method with a total of 158 respondents. The results of the research showed that the sources of information were from the website and online media, and the academic community had a good understanding of the faculty's vision and mission. The academic community also evaluated the support from the faculty in achieving its vision and mission. To improve understanding and achieve the faculty's vision and mission, strategies such as optimizing the faculty website's user-friendly display, improving available facilities, regularly optimizing the use of social media to reach out to the public, enhancing the quality of educators, and developing a network of cooperation among educational institutions should be implemented
