Abstract

Scheduling courses is a routine agenda every semester carried out by the study program, in the manufacturing process it often experiences difficulties such as frequent clashes between courses, lecturers and other times in one period of the lecture schedule. The graph coloring method used is a simple row coloring algorithm on the side. This algorithm can be used in scheduling so that there is no overlap between courses, lecturers, room and time. The system design tool used is a flowchart. The results of this study are in the form of applications that are made automatically without any conflicting schedules. Users can enter the initial scheduling data according to their needs, then the application will follow scheduling using a simple line coloring algorithm on the side, and the output results will display the scheduling results. testing using black box, this test will test in detail the plus button and process button, the expected result is a success

Abstract

The implementation of IT requires good IT governance mechanisms to conduct comprehensive oversight so that the business goals of an organization can truly be achieved effectively and efficiently. All levels of IT managers must understand that risk is uncertain and harms a goal to be achieved. Risk can be a big challenge for any organization or institution that must be able to perform risk management as best it can. With well-managed risk management, it will be able to protect IT assets and add value to IT management. STIKES Garuda Putih is one of the nonprofit organizations that operate in the field of health education. To ensure excellent service for all communities and stakeholders related to IT services, it is necessary to conduct IT governance analysis activities to see if it is working properly. The analysis activity will be done using the COBIT framework 5. In this study, the capability model as a measuring tool for respondents' answers from the questionnaire is made based on the cobit framework 5. Based on the results of the process maturity level analysis on IT management (capability) is in the 3.6 to 1.4 the gap, so that concluded that IT governance has been implemented, but there is still the domain must be improved to achieve the maximum level. It is recommended that SOPs and IT performance management achievement reports, IT risk management, IT management strategy improvement, and the need for an internal control structure of IT governance be established

Abstract

Tracer Study is a study conducted by tertiary institutions to search for alumni whose purpose is to find out the reciprocal of alumni education in the world of work. National universities themselves already have a tracer study website but still have difficulty in carrying out tracer studies, especially to contact alumni. The method used in this study uses a structured waterfall method. In this case, the initial stage for this method is to make observations that aim to find and find out the problems faced by users and to collect data by searching literature studies related to website-based tracer studies to testing website testing systems using blackboxes, namely testing the function requirements of each menu in a program. This research resulted in the application of a website-based tracer study system that facilitates alumni to carry out the tracer study process which can be done anytime and anywhere. The results of the tracer study itself will serve as a benchmark for the university in developing the ability of future students to compete in the workforce.

Abstract

Community service activities as mentioned in Undang-Undang of Indonesia State No. 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education system, article 20 is one of the mandates of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, including the Politeknik Elektronika Negeri Surabaya (PENS). Management of community service in the Research and Community Service Center (P3M) is still manual in collecting, storing and processing service data. The system raises several problems including delays, inaccuracies and excessive workload for administrators and operators and stakeholders in processing and accessing data of community service. Therefore it is necessary to make an application for a multiplatform-based information system to handle transactions and management of various community service data. This application handles the collection of proposal data, progress reports and final reports and handles proposal selection transactions, monitoring and evaluating progress reports, as well as seminar results, including the plotting of service reviewers. This system uses PHP framework and MySQL database management system. The test results show that all application functions are running well and make it easy for all service stakeholders to manage community service activities.

Abstract

The Media Communication Laboratory of Budi Luhur University has an assignment to support the learning of students of the Faculty of Communication Sciences (FIKOM). In its development can not be separated from the role of Information technology. The slow and static application of knowledge management makes many knowledge walkouts, plus the change of assistants every year make knowledge and experience not yet documented so that tacit knowledge is still stored in each assistant, causing dependence on senior assistants to solve a problem. The purpose of this study was to determine whether the use of the Choo Sense Making model is appropriate and can be applied to the Media Communication Laboratory. Researchers develop a knowledge management system model that is in accordance with the conditions of the Communication Media Laboratory using the framework of the Tiwana model, the choo sense making model for knowledge formation and integrated with the SECI model at the knowledge creation stage. The results of this study are the design of a knowledge management system model with a choo sense making model to share knowledge through an application through three processes of knowledge formation namely Sense Making, Knowledge Creating, and Decision Making. The results of testing the system using the path analysis model of the Technology Aceptence Model with 5 variables, namely, Perception of Usability, Perceived Ease of Use, Actual Use of the System, Attitude Toward Using and Behavioral Intention to Use shows results above 71,90%, which means the application of knowledge management system model choo sense making can be applied to the Communication Media Laborator

Abstract

Sektor pertanian merupakan salah satu sektor utama sebagai penghasil pangan. Pertanian menjadi sangat penting karena mempunyai kontribusi dalam pencapaian tujuan pembangunan perekonomian nasional karena Indonesia merupakan negara agraris yang sebagian besar masyarakat Indonesia adalah petani. Masaalah yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini adalah bahwa  sebagian besar usaha pertanian di indonesia masih di kelola secara konvensional dan belum memanfaatkan perkembangan teknologi dalam peningkatan hasil. Inovasi teknologi pada sektor pertanian perlu ditingkatkan salah satunya dengan memanfaatkan perkembangan teknologi Data Mining. Pentingnya memprediksi iklim lahan pertanian karena Perubahan iklim tidak hanya menyebabkan kegagalan panen, tetapi juga merusak sumber daya lahan pertanian, meningkatkan luas areal dan intensitas tanaman yang mengalami kekeringan, meningkatkan kelembaban perkembangan hama dan penyakit tanaman Pada Penelitian ini algoritma yang digunakan untuk prediksi adalah algoritma Regresi Linear Sederhana. Dari hasil uji coba terhadap Prototype yang dibangun dan hasil aplikasi yang dirancang didapatkan hasil Sensor Bme820 dan Soil Moisture Fc28 dapat berkomunikasi dengan baik dan NodeMCU  Esp8266 sehingga hasil pembacaan Sensor dapat ditampilkan pada Aplikasi Website yang direkayasa dan juga memungkinkan untuk melakukan kontrol terhadap alat penyiraman tanaman melalui aplikasi Website yang direkayasa. Dan dari data yang dihasilkan berfungsi sebagai dataset untuk melakukan prediksi terhadap kondisi iklim lahan pertanian pada hari berikutnya

Abstract

Evaluation of interface design is part of human and computer interaction (HCI-Human Computer Interaction). The focus of this study is to conduct heuristic evaluations on the interface design of an academic portal to determine the extent to which the academic portal meets the concept of usability. Academic portal is a website accessed by academics through a web browser. This portal can be accessed by students, lecturers, academic supervisors, Final Project supervisors, and other academics such as: Academic Administration Section (BAA), Study Programs, Libraries, Student Affairs, and Public Administration and Personnel Section (BAUK). This study uses heuristic evaluation as an approach in evaluating a human-machine system (man-machine system) in relation to academic portal ease of use (usability) and also severity ratings in addition to heuristic checklist.  This study involved several evaluators who would conduct an assessment by filling in the heuristic checklist. The expected results with the evaluator's heuristic evaluation method found usability problems related to the general interface. These results are expected to be used by Mikroskil's academic portal system developers to make improvements to the academic portal currently in use

Abstract

The limited knowledge of oil palm farmers on oil palm pests and diseases is related to oil palm productivity. Jambi Province is one of the largest oil palm producers on the island of Sumatra. Usually, to find out the types of pests and diseases in oil palm in the field, farmers need knowledge like that of experts about oil palm diseases. However, the limitation of facilities and capabilities becomes an obstacle. This study offers an expert system to analyze oil palm disease using deep learning. This method is deep learning with excellent accuracy. Various recent studies using DNN state that the classification accuracy results are very good. The data used for the expert system using the DNN algorithm comes from oil palm diagnostic data from the Jambi Provincial Plantation Office. After the oil palm disease diagnosis data is trained, the training data model will be stored for the oil palm disease diagnosis testing process. With a total of 11 classes (Leaf Spot Disease, Anthrox Leaf Blight, Leaf Rust Disease, Leaf Canopy Disease, Bud Rot Disease, Root Rot Disease, Fire Caterpillar or Setora Nitens, Red Mites or Oligonychus, Horn Beetle or Orycte rhinoceros, Bunch Borer Fruits and Nematodes Rhadinaphelenchus Cocophilus), with test variables including the number of classes, TP, TN, FP, FN, precision, recall, F1-score, accuracy, and Missclassificaion rate. The highest accuracy value was 0.88, while the lowest value was 0.83 and the average accuracy was 0.86. This shows that the results of expert system diagnosis on oil palm disease data with DNN are quite good.

Abstract

Based on the traffic accident report, it was found that there were 41,771 (Forty-one thousand seven hundred and seventy-one) incidents caused by disorderly drivers. (POLRI, 2018). One of these disorders is by driving a motorized vehicle outside the traffic lane. In this study, researchers developed computer vision using sensor methods and image processing. The stages in computer vision are the image acquisition process, the image segmentation process, and the image understanding process. This study aims to develop an application using computer vision to warn drivers of disorderly traffic or to increase the alertness of motorized vehicle drivers by detecting the condition of the driver's path. It is hoped that this research will provide a sense of security for motorized vehicle drivers, as well as provide applications that are expected to increase driver awareness to avoid traffic accidents

Abstract

Clustering is an activity that aims to group a data that has a similarity between one data with another data. K-Means clustering is a non-hierarchical data clustering method that attempts to partition existing data into one or more clusters / groups. In this study clustering was conducted using the K-Means algorithm using data on the achievements of the National Middle School National Examination in 2018 obtained from the official website of the Center for Education and Culture Assessment of the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia. The results of the cluster with the K-Means algorithm are obtained for cluster 1 there are 14 provinces, cluster 2 there are 5 provinces, and cluster 3 there are 15 provinces with cluster 1 level is a cluster with a high national test score, cluster 2 is a cluster with a low national test score and a cluster 3 is a cluster with moderate national examination scores. While the results of the evaluation of the K-Means algorithm with the number of clusters 3 produce an evaluation value of Connectivity 11,916, Dunn 0.246 and Silhouette 0.464.
