Abstract

Ornamental plant mainly indoor kind like zamio was isteresting for human. The interesting increase year by year. Easy in maintaining of crop and can be propagated by leaf are more interesting. Crop propagation by leaf will be generate high number of new plants but the plant IBA growth regulation treatment. The research was conducted at open garden of Bussiness Incubator, University of Sebelas Maret Surakarta (98 m above see level) from July untill September 2008. The research contains two experiments there are arrange inn split pot factorial design respectively. For the first experiment the mainplot is light intensity (25, 50 and 75%) and subplot is IBA concentration (0, 100, 200 and 300 ppm). The second experiment the mainplot is light intensity (25, 50 and 75%) and subplot is crop media composition (ash from husk+sand+compost, ash from husk+powder of coconut fiber+compost, and charcoal from husk+powder of coconut fiber+compost). So there are (from the two experiments) 12 combination treatment, each of combination was replicated three times. The yield of research show that: there are no interaction between light intensity and IBA concentration also between light intensity and media composition. The respon of zamio leaf cutting to the light intensity on the number and length of roots following positive lineary model but on the high of bud following negative lineary model especially at 18 weeks after planting (wap). The respon of zamio leaf cutting to the IBA concentration occur at 24 wap following positive lineary model. The media composition no significantly influence to the cutting growth.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh volume air dan dosis pengapuran terhadap ketersediaan P di tanah Alfisols dengan indikator dan jagung bayi (Zea mays L), dan interaksi antara kedua faktor perlakuan tersebut, dilakukan di rumah kaca Fakultas Pertanian UNS.Rancangan yang digunakan adalah RAL Faktoral 3 x 4 yang terdiri atas 2 faktor dengan 3 kali ulangan, sehingga diperolah 12 kombinasi perlakuan. Faktor I adalah volume pemberian air (V) terdiri dari 3 taraf, yaitu volume pemberian air hingga kadar air 28%, 35%, dan 42%. Faktor II adalah dosis pengapuran (K) terdiri dari 4 taraf yaitu 0, 1, 2, 3 ton/ha. Analisis statistik digunakan Uji F dan Uji kontras orthogonal polinomial.Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini bahwa peningkatan volume pemberian air dan dosis pengapuran berpengaruh meningkatkan ketersediaan P di tanah Alfisols, interaksi antara keduanya adalah prinsip.

Abstract

Purpose of this paper will study foreign aid, foreign investment and export to growth of chartered investment counsel Indonesia at time line from the year 2000.1 up to 2008.4, with analysis dynamic. Test result stationary data and cointergration shows that stationary data but is not cointergration to be used of VAR in level. Further of result analysis of Var Method which is executed to show that modeling which is bulit that is growth of influence foreign aid (LFA), foreign capital investment (LPM) and export (LEX) have is true. Based on analysis of variant decomposition seen the influencing growth is growth variable (Lg) it self, medium of foreign aid variable (LFA), foreign investment (LPM) and variable exports (LX) its the influence very low. Based on analysis of impulse response is found by that influence foreign aid variable (LFA) strongest are compared to by foreign investment variable (LPM) and variable exports (LX).

Abstract

Potential development of medicinal plants in Karanganyar is very large, because this area is famous as a center of medicinal plants such as ginger, turmeric, kencur, and temulawak. In the development of medicinal plants, the approach of organic cultivation is one of the alternatives that can be done to achieve the business. Therefore the application of technology to society about organic farming on Biopharmaca Cluster of Karanganyar was conducted with the aim to apply organic cultivation techniques that have resulted from previous studies, so it can be applied by the community to increase income and welfare. This application of technology to society activity is held in Sambirejo, Jumantono, Karanganyar. The research was conducted from March to October 2016. The results showed that the application of chicken manure affects the number of leaves, number of tillers, and the fresh weight of turmeric rhizome. The addition of manure (chicken, goat, cow) can increase all variables of planting growth which include plant height, number of leaf, number of tillers, fresh weight of plant, dry weight of plant, and fresh weight of rhizomes. Giving three types of manure (chicken, goat, cow) with mycorrhizal dose treatment there is no intraction to some growth observation variables. Mycorrhizal treatment with a dose of 10 g/plant can increase the number of tillers in turmeric. Overall the application of mycorrhizal at various doses (5, 10, and 15 g/plant) can increase plant height, leaf number, number of tillers, and fresh weight of turmeric rhizome.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi sektor pertanian termasuk sektor perekonomian lainnya di Kabupaten Boyolali menjadi 4 kelompok: sektor Prima, sektor Berkembang, sektor Potensial dan sektor Terbelakang sebagai dasar untuk mengembangkan sektor pertanian di Kabupaten Boyolali. Metode dasar yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif analitik dengan menggunakan data sekunder berupa data Produk Domestik Regional Bruto Kabupaten Boyolali dan Propinsi Jawa Tengah Tahun 2004-8. Alat analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis Tipologi Klassen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa di Kabupaten Boyolali terdapat dua sektor Prima yaitu sektor Konstruksi dan Bangunan serta sektor Jasa-Jasa. Sektor Berkembang meliputi sektor Pertambangan dan Penggalian serta sektor Listrik, Gas dan Air Bersih. Sektor potensial meliputi sektor Pertanian, Industri Pengolahan dan sektor Perdagangan, Hotel dan Restoran. Sektor pertanian belum merupakan sektor prima sehingga diperlukan berbagai upaya dan strategi pengembangan untuk meningkatkan kinerja sektor pertanian.

Abstract

Penggunaan umbi sebagai benih tanaman bawang merah memerlukan waktu penyimpanan yang lama sebelum ditanam, memerlukan jumlah berat dan volume yang besar untuk ditanam pada areal pertanaman, serta sulit didistribusikan antar daerah. Alternatif lain dalam praktek budidaya tanaman bawang merah adalah dengan menggunakan benih biji (True Shallot Seed). Kendala dalam produksi TSS yang sangat menonjol adalah pembungaan yang tidak serempak dan diperlukan bantuan polinator atau serangga penyerbuk untuk meningkatkan seedset-nya. Lalat hijau dan lebah madu banyak berperan dalam penyerbukan bunga bawang merah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan jenis polinator yang efektif membantu penyerbukan dalam meningkatkan hasil biji dan mengevaluasi asupan hara terhadap peningkatkan hasil biji dan umbi bawang merah. Asupan hara dengan pupuk anorganik dan organik, serta polinator dengan lebah madu dan lalat hijau. Untuk merangsang pembuangan dilakukan vernalisasi. Kesimpulan : pupuk anorganik Mutiara dan pupuk Organik Compound Super-MS dengan dosis masing-masing 150 kg/ha dan 1 t/ha meningkatkan jumlah anakan per rumpun, jumlah bunga per umbel, bobot biki per umbel, dan bobot kering per rumpun. Vernalisasi nyata mempercepat pembungaan dan jumlah bunga perpetak dan jumlah bunga per umbel. Polinator lebah dan lalat hijau efektif meningkatkan jumlah biji per umbel dan bobot biji per umbel.

Abstract

To increase product need the existence of preeminent seed, because seed represent one of the crop conducting medium having role which very determine in the effort increase product and quality of crop conducting result. Seed claimed to be gilt edged where usage of seed with quality for supported by technological medium going forward other will be able to yield maximal productive crop. The farmers often loss their energy and also time in usage of seed which its unfavorable quality.The aimed of this research is to know how accurate factors such as wide of farm, education, seed price, and manure to influence farmer using BBBA (seed in foreign language’s label) at Sukoharjo District. Framework idea in this research is at taking an action, to buy and also use something, farmer will influence by immeasurable of factor, internal and external factor. Internal factor is direct related factor in accurate matter, and external factor related to BBBA consumer. In this research which the included in internal factor is BBBA it self price and usage of manure, while external factor of wide of farm mastered by farmers cultivated melon, formal education and of them.Sample area was selected by purposive pursuant to usage of farm many by farmer for the conducting of melon. Sample taken by counted 60 person who is taken at random. Data analysis is doubled linear regression.Result of regresi analysis mention that at confidence level 95% passing Test F obtained that accurate variable-variable by together mount usage of BBBA, where R2 value equal to 0,601 meaning that variation of usage BBBA influenced by free variable in model equal to 60,1%. And through Test T variable having an effect on wide of farm, Manure anad education with biggest influence sequence is usage of manure, later than education and wide of farm. While BBBA itself price in the reality do not influence farmer in using the BBBA product.

Abstract

Java turmeric is a medicinal plant which in top ranks in its uses. Many people choose herbal treatments for their health. This study aims to investigate the response of the multiplication of java turmeric against granting PGR NAA and young coconut water in vitro. This research was conducted at the Laboratory of Biotechnology and Tissue Culture, Sebelas Maret University, Surakarta. The research was arranged in a Fully Randomized Design with 16 treatments and 3 replications. The results showed that giving kombination treatment of 0,5 ppm NAA and 60% young coconut water was able to increase root amount with by an average of 20,33. NAA 1,5 ppm can increase buds amount at 2 buds. Giving 20% young coconut water treatment were also capable of increase average length buds, root length in sequence 7,37 cm and 7,37 cm.

Abstract

Practicing intensive agriculture by implementing chemical substances in agriculture systems have been suspected cause problem on environment. Increase content of nitrate in drinking water and aquatic systems and greenhouse gases status of atmosphere may be due to the miss-practice of agricultural activity. Organic farming (OF) is one of techniques that may be implemented in order to solve this problem. Besides, its benefit in maintaining agro-environmental sustainability, practicing OF has weakness in the field. Therefore, to achieve its goal suitable strategy is needed. In the OF based on livestock, integration of crop-livestock-soil may occur, where among those three interact one each other and therefore ideal system (Zero wastes) may be established. Improvement of pasture increase, highly forage crop productivity and availability is expected influence on the performance of livestock. On the other hand, the return of animal wastes into pasture may tend to decrase the risk of environmental pollution.

Abstract

This research aim to analyse social economy characteristics of farmers, to analyse farmers participation, and to analyse correlation between social economy characteristics of farmers with participation of farmers in GP-PTT Soybean Plants at Kedawung District, Sragen Regency. Basic methods for this research is explanatory. Research was conducted at Kedawung District in consideration of Kedawung District is a district in Sragen regency which take part in GP-PTT Soybean Plants activity with an area of 1,000 hectare. Data analysis which used is Rank Spearman correlation aim to find out the relation of Social Economy characteristic of farmers with farmers participation in the activity of GP-PTT Soybean Plants. The sampling method that applied in this research is proportional random sampling. Numbers of respondents researched in this research are 50 respondents. Analysis to find out level of significance used t test. The social economy characteristics of farmers in this research are age, formal education, non-formal education, income, farm size, and farming experience. Participations of farmers in this research are participations in planning, execution, monitoring and evaluation, as well as the utilization of the results. The results of this research shows that there is very significance correlation between non-formal education with level of participation in planning, monitoring, and evaluation. There is a very significance correlation between farming experience with level of participation in planning.
