Abstract

The goal of this study is to determine how the self-awareness and self-control of high school science majors relate to their understanding of basic sexual education through the study of the human reproductive system. The method used is mixed methods. The sample consisted of all 11th-grade science majors at one of the Tasikmalaya City high schools. In the sample, there were two classes. The sampling technique utilized was purposive sampling. Data were gathered by interviews with teachers and students, and questionnaires for self-awareness, self-control, and basic sexual education. Methodologies for descriptive qualitative data analysis also include precondition analysis and hypothesis testing, such as correlation tests with Spearman Rank and basic linear regression tests, in addition to drawing conclusions. Due to students' uncertainty regarding their ability to exercise self-control, the study's findings indicate that there is no correlation between self-control and understanding of basic sexual education. However, there is a correlation between self-awareness and understanding of basic sexual education with a low category, which is supported by student interviews in which up to 38.54% of students are confident in their responses. Additionally, there is a link between self-awareness and self-control and a low-category grasp of fundamental sexual education

Abstract

Augmented reality is a technology that connects the virtual and real world with the help of a camera. Augmented reality technology is very important to get an overview of the progress and the real impact of its use in biology learning. Furthermore, through systematic literature review analysis, we searched for biology learning publications that utilized augmented reality. The results of the study show that there are no biology journals on a scopus basis that discuss the use of augmented reality the most. The trend of using augmented reality in biology learning from 2012-2022 started in 2016 and was highest in 2020. Biological material that uses the most augmented reality media is heart and blood flow material. The level of education that makes the most use of augmented reality is college. The types of research which is most widely used are research and development. The obstacles that occur are the lack of facilities and the lack of teacher training in utilizing augmented reality. All levels of education can take advantage of augmented reality with teacher skills facilitating student learning. Abstract

Sustainable awareness is one of the things that individual should possess as a form of concern for the enviroment. This research aims to analyze how the STEM learning model influences students’ sustainable awareness. The study was conducted at one of  Madrasah Aliyah (MA) Kota Bengkulu for 10th grade student. This reseach utilized a quasi-experimental method whith a pretest-postest non-equivalent control group design. The sample fot this study consisted of 10th grade students, with two control clasess and two experiment clasess which selected using convinience sampling technique. The research incoporates both qualitative and quantitave data. The qualitative data in this study consists of unstructured interviews results, which are utilized to strengthen the reseach data. The quantitve data includes pre-test and post-test scores processed using SPSS. The research results indicate a non-significant influence of the STEM learning model on students’ sustainable awareness (sig. 0.144>0.05). There are three indicators of sustainable awareness used in this research, derived from the synthesis of several articles, however, one out of three indicators in sustainable awareness in this study shows a significant effect, specifically in the attitude awareness indicator (sig. 0.008<0.05). therefore, it can be concluded that STEM learning model in this study does not have significant impact on students’s sustainable awareness.

Abstract

The improvement of students critical thinking skill can be carried out in using innovative teaching material to achieve competence acquired. The aims of this research is to know the appropriateness accuracy, and effectiveness of flipped Classroom based E-module on circulation system material at XI SMA. The researcher uses R & D methodology with ADDIE development model through the stages. Analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation The research subject is from the material scholars and media scholars. The instrument that used in this research are questionnaire, data analysis, that uses Likert scale. The results of this research indicates that the product  is appropriately used to based on the material scholars and media scholars with the number is 97,91% (very appropriate) and the assessment of media scholar with the number 91,25% (very appropriate) based on the biology teacher assessment that E-Module is practical to use it with the number 100% (very practically) and the results of test little scare with the number 89,06% (very practical), and effective to improve students critical thinking skill based on N-gain score with 0.58 score.

Abstract

This research aims to re-analyze the cooperative learning model to improve learning outcomes in Biology subjects. The cooperative learning model is an active learning model that focuses on group work, positive relationships, mutual cooperation, and motivating each other so that promotive interactions occur to create a learning community. This analytical research uses the meta-analysis method. The first stage of research is formulating the problem, followed by exploring existing relevant research for analysis. Data collection in this research used non-test techniques by searching through electronic journals Google Scholar, Researchgate and documentation studies in the library. There are forty-eight articles from journals and two from thesis collections found in the library. Based on the results of the analysis, it turns out that the cooperative learning model can improve student learning outcomes in Biology subjects.
