Abstract

Program Pengenalan dan Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Wimba dengan Media Pembelajaran Play Dough di Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) Kabupaten Tasikmalaya adalah untuk meningkatkan kualifikasi dan kapasitas pendidikan pengampu mata pelajaran IPA melalui peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam menerapkan model pembelajaran  dan penggunaan media pembelajaran yang kreatif dan inovatif. Target yang ditetapkan dalam kegiatan ini yaitu guru-guru IPA yang berada pada jenjang Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) di wilayah Kabupaten Tasikmalaya diharapkan memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam menerapkan model pembelajaran Wimba dengan media pembelajaran play dough dengan baik yang nantinya diharapkan mampu meningkatkan kemampuan visuospasial, dimana kemampuan visuospaisal ini bisa meningkatkan kecerdasan intelegensi guru maupun peserta didiknya. Selain itu mampu memberikan wawasan serta pengalaman pembelajaran yang menarik dan menyenangkan karena penerapan model pembelajaran Wimba dengan media pembelajaran play dough ini memberikan kreatifitas dan pengembangan ide terkait materi sel untuk guru maupun peserta didik.

Abstract

Critical thinking skills is a most important aspect that must be owned by students in biology learning, especially in solving the problems that require alternative in-depth solutions and close to the problems that we are often encountered in daily life. This research aims to determine the correlation between student’s critical thinking skills and learning outcomes on the topic of human musculoskeletal system. The method for this research was correlational study. The research’s populations were all of grade 10 MIPA Senior High School in Tasikmalaya with characteristics discipline and have a lot of achievement in academic and nonacademic. The sample was 48 students from grade 10 of MIPA 4 selected based on cluster random sampling method. The data were gained by giving the essay test consisting of 15 analysis questions with indicators developed by Ennis to measure student’s critical thinking, and 35 multiple choice questions to measure student’s learning outcomes. Data analyzed by correlation and regression analysis Pearson product moment with significant level (α) 0,05. The normality and linearity test are conducted before performing the hypothesis test as a prerequisite. The result of research, data analysis, and hypothesis testing reveals that there is a positive correlation between student’s critical thinking skills and learning outcomes on the topic of human musculoskeletal system with correlation coefficient obtained is 0,667 it’s mean have a high correlation category. Contribution of critical thinking skills toward learning outcomes is 44,5% while 55,5% is influenced by other variables that are not researched.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh aplikasi Quizizz terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi jaringan pada tumbuhan di kelas XI MIPA salah satu SMA berada di perbatasan Kabupaten Garut. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Agustus 2019 sampai dengan bulan September 2019. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi experimental dengan desain penelitian Nonequivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas XI MIPA pada tahun 2019-2020. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak dua kelas yang diambil dengan teknik porposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa tes hasil belajar yang dilakukan sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes hasil belajar pada materi jaringan tumbuhan sebanyak 35 soal pilihan majemuk. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji t. Pada penelitian ini ditemukan peningkatan pada aspek kognitif hasil belajar terutama pada jenjang menganalisis, peningkatan ini terjadi karena aplikasi ini dikombinasikan dengan kegiatan praktikum. Selain itu, kebiasaan mencontek peserta didik dapat diminimalkan karena peserta didik terbiasa mengerjakan soal menggunakan aplikasi ini dengan randomisasi. Sehingga berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh Aplikasi Quizizz terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi jaringan tumbuhan.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran guided inquiry terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik di kelas XI MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Sindangkasih pada materi sistem saraf manusia. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan September 2018 sampai dengan bulan Juli 2019 di SMA Negeri 1 Sindangkasih. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah true experiment. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas XI MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Sindangkasih sebanyak 3 kelas. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 2 kelas yaitu kelas XI MIPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI MIPA 3 sebagai kelas kontrol yang diambil dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa tes tulis hasil belajar pada materi sistem saraf manusia yang dilakukan sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran berlangsung. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji ancova. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran guided inquiry terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi sistem saraf manusia di kelas XI MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Sindangkasih.Abstract. This study aimed to determine the effect guided inquiry learning model toward learning outcomes of students in XI MIPA classes at SMA Negeri 1 Sindangkasih on nervous system subject. This research was conducted from September 2018 until July 2019 at SMA Negeri 1 Sindangkasih. The research used the true experiment method. The population in this study were all XI MIPA at SMA Negeri 1 Sindangkasih as many as 3 classes. The sample used was 2 classes, namely class XI MIPA 1 as the experimental class and class XI MIPA 3 as the control class taken by cluster random sampling technique. Data collection techniques in the form of tests of learning outcomes on the nervous system subject was conducted before and after learning process were taken place. The datas were analyzed by using the Ancova test. The results showed that there was the effect guided inquiry learning model toward learning outcomes of students on nervous system subject in XI MIPA classes at SMA Negeri 1 Sindangkasih.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas model discovery learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik di kelas X MIA SMA IT Riyadlussholihin Sukaratu Tasikmalaya. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Februari 2020. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Pre-Experimental Design dengan populasi yaitu seluruh peserta didik kelas X sebanyak 2 kelas. Sampel yang diambil dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling dan diperoleh siswa kelas X MIA 1 sebagai sampel penelitian. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes berpikir kritis peserta didik pada materi plantae sub konsep bryophyta dan pteridophyta, dengan bentuk soal berupa uraian sebanyak 20 soal. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji t-test. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model discovery learning berpengaruh secara efektif terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik.

Abstract

The goal of this study is to determine how the self-awareness and self-control of high school science majors relate to their understanding of basic sexual education through the study of the human reproductive system. The method used is mixed methods. The sample consisted of all 11th-grade science majors at one of the Tasikmalaya City high schools. In the sample, there were two classes. The sampling technique utilized was purposive sampling. Data were gathered by interviews with teachers and students, and questionnaires for self-awareness, self-control, and basic sexual education. Methodologies for descriptive qualitative data analysis also include precondition analysis and hypothesis testing, such as correlation tests with Spearman Rank and basic linear regression tests, in addition to drawing conclusions. Due to students' uncertainty regarding their ability to exercise self-control, the study's findings indicate that there is no correlation between self-control and understanding of basic sexual education. However, there is a correlation between self-awareness and understanding of basic sexual education with a low category, which is supported by student interviews in which up to 38.54% of students are confident in their responses. Additionally, there is a link between self-awareness and self-control and a low-category grasp of fundamental sexual education

Abstract

A healthy ecosystem depends on good ecological literacy, but students' environmental awareness is still low. This study aims to analyze the ecological literacy profile of students in science learning at SMPN 1 Parigi. The method used is descriptive quantitative with an instrument in the form of a questionnaire that measures three indicators of ecological literacy, namely ecological participation, ecological awareness, and ecological skills. This study involved 32 class VIII students as a sample and was carried out in the odd semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. The results showed that the ecological literacy of students was in a poor category with an average score of 38.23. In more detail, the ecological participation indicator obtained the highest score of 38.75, while the ecological skills indicator was the lowest with a score of 37.81. This low score is due to the lack of direct experience-based learning, lack of relevant learning resources, and the suboptimal integration of ecological issues in the science curriculum. The research results recommend the application of Problem-Based Learning based on local wisdom to link learning with surrounding environmental issues. In addition, the use of technology in ecological learning, such as interactive digital platforms, the use of IoT-based environmental sensors, and artificial intelligence (AI)-based simulations, can be an innovative strategy in increasing students' understanding. Technology enables real-time environmental data analysis and provides a deeper and evidence-based learning experience. Thus, the integration of technology in ecological education is expected to increase students' awareness and skills in facing environmental challenges more effectively. This effort is important to form a more environmentally conscious generation and contribute to sustainable ecological preservation. ABSTRAKEkosistem yang sehat bergantung pada literasi ekologi yang baik, namun kesadaran lingkungan peserta didik masih rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis profil literasi ekologi peserta didik dalam pembelajaran IPA di SMPN 1 Parigi. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan instrumen berupa kuesioner yang mengukur tiga indikator literasi ekologi, yaitu partisipasi ekologi, kesadaran ekologi, dan keterampilan ekologi. Penelitian ini melibatkan 32 peserta didik kelas VIII sebagai sampel dan dilaksanakan pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa literasi ekologi peserta didik berada pada kategori kurang baik dengan rata-rata skor 38,23. Secara lebih rinci, indikator partisipasi ekologi memperoleh skor tertinggi sebesar 38,75, sedangkan indikator keterampilan ekologi menjadi yang terendah dengan skor 37,81. Rendahnya skor ini disebabkan oleh minimnya pembelajaran berbasis pengalaman langsung, kurangnya sumber belajar yang relevan, serta belum optimalnya integrasi isu ekologi dalam kurikulum IPA. Hasil penelitian merekomendasikan penerapan Problem-Based Learning berbasis kearifan lokal untuk mengaitkan pembelajaran dengan isu lingkungan sekitar. Selain itu, pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pembelajaran ekologi, seperti platform digital interaktif, penggunaan sensor lingkungan berbasis IoT, dan simulasi berbasis kecerdasan buatan (AI), dapat menjadi strategi inovatif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik. Teknologi memungkinkan analisis data lingkungan secara real-time dan memberikan pengalaman belajar yang lebih mendalam serta berbasis bukti. Dengan demikian, integrasi teknologi dalam pendidikan ekologi diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kesadaran dan keterampilan peserta didik dalam menghadapi tantangan lingkungan secara lebih efektif. Upaya ini penting untuk membentuk generasi yang lebih sadar lingkungan dan berkontribusi pada pelestarian ekologi secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This program aims to increase understanding and skills about live pharmacy plants that are beneficial for health in efforts to prevent the spread of disease, increase knowledge about the cultivation of various types of live pharmacy plants that have economic value, increase public awareness in preventing the spread of the pandemic, and encourage community independence in developing the potential of natural resources around them, especially those derived from live pharmacy plants. The method used is PRA (Participatory Rural Appraisal), where the activity program involves partners in activities and activities carried out at partner locations. The use of PRA is carried out independently and in cooperation, so that community independence and several principles are realized. Based on the results of discussions conducted with partners, the partners will continue to strive to develop one of the products derived from existing medicinal plants. This is done because the partners want a typical village drink that is efficacious in maintaining immunity, especially when visitors visit the village. The partners also want the existing medicinal plants with special packaging for souvenir production in Sukahurip village. It can be concluded that the program has had a significant positive impact on the community, as evidenced by the increased awareness, understanding, and cultivation of living pharmacy at home, as well as a surge in the number of households that have a living pharmacy. In addition to the impact on health, the program has opened new economic opportunities.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of wimba learning strategies with project based learning models toward student learning outcomes on the excretory system material. This research was conducted in September 2018 until September 2019. The research method used a true experiment with a population of all class XI in one of the State High School of Tasikmalaya City with 8 classes with a total of 288 students. The samples used were 2 classes taken by cluster random sampling, namely class XI mathematics and science 1 as a controller class and class XI mathematics and science 4 as an experimental class. Based on the results of the study, data analysis using the Ancova test and hypothesis testing can be concluded that there is an influence of the wimba learning strategy with project based learning model toward student learning outcomes on the excretory system material in class XI in one of the State High School of Tasikmalaya City 2018/2019.

Abstract

Biodiversity, as a vital component of ecosystem sustainability, is under significant pressure due to pollution, rapid urbanization, and climate change. This global issue also impacts local awareness, including among students at SMP Negeri Satu Atap 1 Kalipucang. This study aims to analyze the biodiversity literacy profile of seventh-grade students at the school. A descriptive quantitative method was used, with a multiple-choice test consisting of 20 items measuring 10 indicators of biodiversity literacy, including conservation and species importance, biodiversity benefits, biodiversity protection, sustainable biodiversity, biodiversity ethics, conservation awareness, environmental behavior, environmental concern, environmental knowledge, and biodiversity knowledge. The research was conducted in October 2024 with a sample of 36 students. The results showed that the average biodiversity literacy score of students was in the "moderate" category at 59.72, with the moderate category range between 51 and 70. More specifically, the highest scoring indicator was biodiversity knowledge at 67.89, while the lowest was sustainable biodiversity at 51.67. The moderate category indicates that understanding across several indicators is limited, which may be attributed to a lack of field-based learning and limited learning resources. This study recommends integrating biodiversity into the science curriculum and implementing environment-based learning to enhance biodiversity literacy. Such efforts are expected to equip students with greater environmental knowledge and awareness, support biodiversity conservation, and foster a generation that cares about ecosystem sustainability. ABSTRAKBiodiversitas, sebagai komponen penting keberlanjutan ekosistem, menghadapi tekanan berat akibat pencemaran, urbanisasi yang cepat, dan perubahan iklim. Isu global ini juga berdampak pada kesadaran lokal, termasuk di kalangan peserta didik SMP Negeri Satu Atap 1 Kalipucang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis profil literasi biodiversitas peserta didik kelas VII di SMP Negeri Satu Atap 1 Kalipucang. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan instrumen berupa tes pilihan ganda sebanyak 20 butir soal yang mengukur 10 indikator literasi biodiversitas, seperti konservasi dan pentingnya spesies, kegunaan biodiversitas, perlindungan biodiversitas, biodiversitas berkelanjutan, etika biodiversitas, konservasi dan pentingnya biodiversitas, behavior, sikap peduli lingkungan, pengetahuan lingkungan, pengetahuan biodiversitas. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada Oktober 2024 dengan sampel sebanyak 36 peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata skor literasi biodiversitas peserta didik berada pada kategori cukup sebesar 59,72, dengan rentang nilai kategori cukup berada pada skor 51–70. Secara lebih rinci, indikator dengan skor tertinggi adalah pengetahuan biodiversitas sebesar 67,89, sedangkan indikator dengan skor terendah adalah biodiversitas berkelanjutan sebesar 51,67. Kategori cukup membuktikan bahwa pemahaman pada beberapa indikator dihubungkan dengan minimnya pembelajaran berbasis lapangan dan kurangnya sumber belajar. Hasil penelitian merekomendasikan pengintegrasian biodiversitas dalam kurikulum IPA serta penerapan pembelajaran berbasis lingkungan untuk meningkatkan literasi biodiversitas. Langkah ini diharapkan dapat membekali peserta didik dengan pengetahuan dan kesadaran lingkungan yang lebih baik, mendukung upaya pelestarian biodiversitas, dan menciptakan generasi yang peduli terhadap keberlanjutan ekosistem.
