Abstract

Participation is an active and initiative process that comes from citizen where it will be realized as an actual effort if fulfilling three factors; a good will, ability and a change to participate. In the context of education, the social participation is found in the form the people participation to the process of education. That participation and involvement can be in terms of management development aspect, curriculum, to the learning process. This paper tries to describe the models of social participation at SMP Plus Melati since this is one of the best schools in Samarinda. The models of social participation were found, such as: institutional, educative, and cultural participation. There are also some cooperation, such as: institutional mutual understanding, managerial development, finance, curriculum, and cooperation with some Moslem leaders in Samarinda.

Abstract

National education has a strategic role and is very important in developing ability and forming temper also dignified nation civilization in order to educate the nation. The national education also has a goal to the development of education participant potential for being human who believe and devotion for God Almighty, noble, health, knowledgeable, competent, creative and being democratic citizens, also responsible. Thematic learning is a form that creates an integrated learning, that will push the students involvement in studying, making students to be active involved in the learning process and creates a situation of problem solving as the students’need, in studying thematically the students will be able to learn and play with a high creativity. The thematic learning is developed besides to achieve the learning goal that had determined, it is hoped that students can increase the concept understanding they learned meaningfully, develop the skill of finding, processing, information utilization, develop a positive position, a good habit, and transcendent values that are needed in life, develop social skills such as cooperation, tolerance, communication, also appreciate others’opinion, increase passion in studying, choose the suitable activity as their interest and needs.

Abstract

This research is directed to evaluate the research topics done by the students of teacher training and education faculty of IAIN Samarinda from 2014-2016 which can be used as the references to develop the research quality of IAIN Samarinda. This research was done by applying the quantitative bibliometric. The data was collected by using the documentation of the thesis abstracts of the students of teacher training and education faculty of IAIN Samarinda. The data was analysed by using co-word analysis. The results show that the dominant topics focused by the PAI students to write the thesis from 2014-2016 were about the cognitive, affective, and psycomotoric learning aspects. The topic trend of the Educational management students to write the thesis from 2014-2016 were about the educators and non-educators management, whereas the topic trend of the English department students to write the thesis from 2014-2016 were about the speaking ability of the English learners. The dominant research approaches used by the all three study programs were quantitative research. The suggestions are given related to the findings are: 1) It needs to enrich and enlarge the topics research should be done by the students of teacher training and education faculty of IAIN Samarinda and 2) The students need to learn more about the research methods to improve the accuracy and the validity of the research done by the students.

Abstract

This study tries to map the Islamic Education research based on the citation both to the literature and the authors cited and listed in the bibliography. The citation of the name of the author and the research title were ranked to see how many times they were cited. Bibliometric analysis is also used to see the expancement of science by looking up the year of a literature when it was cited in an article. The result of study shows that: 1) The top authors which are listed in the bibliography are Anas Sudjiono, Suharsimi Arikunto, Hadari Nawawi, Oemar Hamalik, and Wina Sanjaya. 2) The top literatures which are cited are Prosedur Penelitian suatu pendekatan praktek, Pengantar Statistik Pendidikan, Metode Penelitian kualitatif, Administrasi and Supervisi pendidikan. These books are the primary sources to statistical data process and research methodology; quantitative and qualitative research. The books of curriculum, psychology, and education evaluation are found many times in the list of bibliography. The books, such as education, educational philosophy, Arabic language, and English language, are also found. 3) The average literature which were cited in the sarjana’s thesis of Educational faculty in 2013 is 9,69 year.

Abstract

The objective of this study was to describe: 1) How to teach reading Arabic non syakal through grammatical-based reading activity, 2) The improvement of reading skill of Arabic non syakal through grammatical-based reading activity, and 3) The students’ respond to the teaching of reading of Arabic non syakal. This is a classroom action research. The data was collected by distributing questionnaires and conducting a test to students. The data analyzed by using Miles and Hubberman model. The result of this study found : 1) The students’ reading ability of Arabic non syakal improved after the implementation of grammatical-based reading activity, 2) The students motivated and enjoyed learning Arabic reading non syakal through grammatical-based reading activity, 3) The students stated that the textbook is applicable to help them understand Arabic text non syakal, and 4) There was a positive respond of the students after learning Arabic reading non syakal through grammatical-based reading activity.

Abstract

This research attempts to reconstruct the law enforcement issues related to the case of human organs trade in Indonesia. As we know, the rules of law related to the prohibition of the sale and purchase or illegal transplantation of organs has been issued by the government. But the fact does not make organized crime vanished. Therefore, it is necessary to have the latest reformulation that can realize to the root of the problem. One of them is by integrating between Islamic law in the form of the products fiqh and the Health Act (Act No. 36 of 2009). This research is normative juridical research. Its focus is directed on the study of theorem, principle, conception, legal doctrine and content rules of positive law. It is analyzed descriptively and qualitatively by reducing the data, presenting the data and draw conclusions. Both Islamic law and health law equally prohibits the practice of buying and selling of organs strictly in principle. It is because of the high risk of illegal actions against a person's health, due to the lack of health standards in the black market organ sales. Organs will no longer work when it is transplants for living donor. Interestingly, both Islamic law and the laws of health go hand in hand in an effort to prevent the practice of buying and selling of organs, especially the highly dynamic Islamic law to follow the development of humanity. This is evident from the birth of some of the Fatwa (a binding ruling in religious matters) issued by the Indonesian Mufti Council (MUI) that related to the issue of human organs. Similarly, Health Act is very appropriately referred to as human rights laws because many provide humanitarian protection in the field of health.

Abstract

Zakat is source of revenues of state that biggest than ghanimah, jizyah, fai dan kharaf at the beginning of history of Islam.  Therefore not so surprising if there is opinion says in this modern era, zakat be created as Islamic economic back bone.  Zakat considered as a school of thought in Islam and also as a microcosm of the entire Islamic fiscal system.  Limited standpoint understanding from both are same namely give something likes money, goods or things to government or institution that be trusted to handle it. The problem that arises is if both of them are same whether people must carry out all.  Discourse it presented comparation form between zakat and tax.  Evidently there are similarities and differences both of them. So, zakat and tax must be set out in legislation not just at Al-Quran and Hadits also at Ijma and Qiyas.  Therefore all elements at society must concern on it to reach prosperity of all people.

Abstract

Indonesia is a pluralistic nation (plural). Multiculturalism beckons the existence of plurality and difference. Understanding and management of pluralism and multiculturalism will generate a positive force for the development of the nation. Conversely, if it is not understood and managed properly, diversity and multiculturalism could be a destructive factor and  a disaster trigger. Conflict and social violence that often occurs between groups of people are part of plurality and multiculturalism are not managed properly. Religious conflict as happened in Maumere (1995), Surabaya, Situbondo and Tasikmalaya (1996), Rengasdengklok (1997), Jakarta, Solo and Kupang (1998), Poso, Ambon (1999-2002), are not bit fatalities, but also has destroyed hundreds of places of worship (both churches and mosques) burned and destroyed. Similarly, notes of ethnics violence, such as certain ethnic violence in West Kalimantan (1933), Central Kalimantan (2000), it is needed a preventive measures as early prevention, so that such events do not recur in the future. To achieve this goal, inclusive-instrinsic understanding of religion.. Borrowing a term of Malinowski’s thinking wishfull; their beliefs are considered nil even though the truth of religion, but religion is still positive that was able to help the frustration and still has the potential to realize the social unity.

Abstract

Persoalan kewarisan selalu menarik untuk dipelajari dan dikaji, khususnya kewarisan yang ada di Indonesia. Hal ini terjadi karena masyarakat Indonesia sangat dinamis dalam masalah kewarisan, di samping banyaknya pilihan yang ada dan berkembang di masyarakat. Paling tidak ada tiga (3) pilihan ketika ingin membagi harta warisan; (1) berdasarkan hukum Islam, (2) berdasarkan hukum adat, (3) berdasarkan KUH Perdata. Karena masyarakat sangat banyak, peneliti hanya memilih ulama yang juga merupakan bagian dari masyakat untuk dijadikan obyek dalam penelitian ini. Dipilihnya ulama dalam penelitian ini, karena di satu sisi mereka mengetahui tentang hukum kewarisan berdasarkan hukum Islam, tetapi di sisi lain mereka juga hidup dalam masyarakat yg sangat plural. Apakah keilmuan mereka tentang hukum kewarisan Islam dapat mewarnai tentang tata cara pembagian harta warisan dalam keluarga mereka ataupun ketika mereka diminta masyarakat untuk menyelesaikan persoalan kewarisan ? ataukah justru para ulama tersebut mengambil jalan damai, asalkan keluarga tetap utuh dan kemaslahatan keluarga tetap rukun. Dari 15 ulama yang diwancarai, dapat ditipologikan kepada tiga cara pembagian waris di kalangan ulama di Samarinda, yaitu berdasarkan hibah, faraid, dan musyawarah keluarga.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to describe the concept of Ibnu Jarir al-Tabari about al-Qur’an, tafsir and ta’wil. Ibn Jarir al-Tabari is an outstanding expert in the classic Islamic tradition. His knowledge in hadits, fiqh, lughah, history, and tafseer is unquestionable. This study uses an analytical descriptive design. The findings show that: Firstly, in defining al-Qur’an, al-Tabari focused on the al-Qur’an as an Arabic language text, not in other language. Secondly, al-Qur’an is written in sab’ah ahruf. It means that there are 7 different kinds of language with the same meaning. Thirdly, al-Qur’an comes from seven heaven’s door. Fourthly, there is no different word between tafseer and ta’wil. They have same meaning. These concepts are different to other concepts proposed by other ulama.
