Abstract

Abstract. This research aims to determine whether there is influence of the Remap Coople NHT model on student learning outcomes. The independent variables in this study are Remap Coople NHT and direct instructional learning with lecture method, while the dependent variable is learning outcomes of students. The population in this study were all students of class XI MIA SMA Negeri 1 Palopo which consisted of 6 classes. The research sample was selected by random sampling technique, namely XI MIA 1 as an experimental group with 30 students and XI MIA 2 as a control group with 30 students. Data retrieval method is by using a written test in the form of multiple choice questions totaling 20 numbers in accordance with the learning objectives. The collected research were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results showed that there was an effect of the application of the Remap Coople NHT model on the learning outcomes of students in SMA Negeri 1 Palopo.  Keywords: remap coople nht, direct instructional, learning outcomes

Abstract

Abstract. This research aims to find out: the knowledge and the attitude of community environmental sanitation in Tamalate Subdistrict, Makassar City, and the maintenance of Community- based Communal Wastewater Treatment Plant in Tamalate Subdistrict, Makassar City, the relationship between environmental sanitation knowledge and maintenance of Community-Based Wastewater Treatment Plant in Tamalate Subdistrict, Makassar City, the relationship between knowledge of environmental sanitation and the maintenance of Community Based Wastewater Treatment Plant in Tamalate subdistrict, Makassar City. This research was a quantitative descriptive research with applying a correlational approach. The population of this research was all household users from 10 locations of communal Wastewater Treatment Plant in Tamalate District, Makassar City. The sampling technique was conducted by using purposive random sampling technique. The instruments of this research used knowledge tests, attitude questionnaires and observation sheets. The results of this research showed that the knowledge of environmental sanitation of user community and Communal IPAL administrators in Tamalate Subdistrict, Makassar City is in the high category. and the knowledge are significantly related and positive direction with maintenance of Community-Based Wastewater Treatment Plant in Tamalate Subdistrict, Makassar City, it is influenced by education level and the socio-economic conditions are still low but if the knowledge and attitude of the community is good, then the maintenance of IPAL will also be good. Keywords: knowledge, environmental sanitation, maintenance of IPAL

Abstract

Abstract. This Research and Development (R and D) concerns on learning media development regarding electronic magazine (e-magazine) for Plant Growth and Development subject. The R and D’s model used Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate (ADDIE). Validity test obtained from two expert validators and Practicality test obtained from the using of media by teacher and students. The Develop stage of this study conducted by validating e-magazine for further be implemented on SMAN 10 Gowa, Class of XII4 Natural Science. The number of subjects comprised of 29 students. Data collected from interview, observation and questionnaire. The result of validity test showed the average of media feasibility percentage is  82%. While the subject matter feasibility gained 81%. Both of these result showed very decent category which was meant that the media is feasible to be used. The average of teacher and students respond gained 83% and 81 % respectively toward positive respond. From the point of feasibility which had been evaluated by validity and practical test, this study can be conclude that emagazine is valid and practice learning media to be implemented in learning process. Abstract

Conventional learning model with lecture method that teacher- centered was still dominating and usually used by teacher in learning process at high school. Teacher needed learning model that can increase student cognitive retention. This research aims to determine whether there is influence of the cooperative learning Jigsaw-type model on retention of cognitive. The design is Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The population in this study were all students of class X MIPA SMA Negeri 5 Wajo which consisted of 3 classes. The research sample was selected by random sampling technique, namely X MIPA 2 as an experimental group with 23 students and X MIPA 3 as a control group with 26 students. Data collected by using a multiple choice test totaling 20 numbers. The collected research were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results showed that there was an effect of the application of the cooperative learning Jigsaw-type model on retention of cognitive of students in SMA Negeri 5 Wajo. Abstract

Abstract. Teaching materials for electronic blood circulation systems based on electronic books were developed based on the lack of learning resources and media available in schools. This product development will make students learn independently and use learning resources that can be used anytime and anywhere. This study aims to produce products in the form of teaching materials for electronic bookbased circulatory systems in which there are media in the form of text, images, videos, virtual labs that are done through e-learning media (bioedukasi.com) and are valid. Electronic book-based teaching material developed using the Kvisoft application so that the display of teaching materials is like a printed book in general. The fundamental differences in teaching materials developed have a variety of media in the form of videos that can be played directly in teaching materials. The development research model conducted refers to the four D (4D) model initiated by Thiagarajan. Model four D (4D) consists of the defining stage (define), the design phase (design), the stage of development (develop) and the stage of deployment (disseminate). Based on the research results obtained that the product in the form of teaching materials based on electronic books and e-learning media (bioedukasi.com) is valid. The valid value of the teaching material obtained is 4.36 while the valid value of e-learning is 4.43. The two products produced are valid so it is feasible to use. Abstract

Abstract. This research aims to find out the difference of students’ creative thinking skill using the PjBL learning model and conventional learning model for environmental pollution material. This research is a quasi-experiment with pretest-posttest control group design. The population were all the students of class VII and the sample were 34 students of class VII A and VII C. Data collection techniques used an essay. Data analysis in this study was conducted by t-test. The results showed that (1) creative thinking skill of students taught using PjBL learning model of environmental pollution material are in the moderate category with an average value of 58.23; (2) creative thinking skill of students taught using conventional learning model of environmental pollution are in the low category with an average value of 46.70; (3) there is difference of students’ creative thinking skill using PjBL learning model and conventional learning model of environmental pollution materials where students taught through PjBL learning model have higher creative thinking skills than taught by conventional learning model.Keywords: creative thinking skill, project-based learning, coventional learning.

Abstract

Abstract. Healthy Clean-Living Behavior (PHBS) is carried out in order to realize a healthy life so as to prevent disease. The factors that cause the lack of people to behave in a healthy clean lifestyle are caused by their socioeconomic status. The socioeconomic status intended here is the level of education, type of work and income level. The purpose of this study was to determine how the condition of the socioeconomic status of the community and the behavior of healthy clean living in the community and to find out whether there is a relationship between socioeconomic status and healthy cleanliving behavior (PHBS) of the community in Pajukukang village, Maros district. This research is a correlation study. The sample taken was selected by cluster random sampling by taking a sample of 40 respondents per village. So that the overall sample of 120 respondents. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential data analysis. The relationship between education level and income level with PHBS was tested using Spearman rank, resulting in Asymp sig value. 0,000. Whereas the relationship of work type with PHBS was tested using contingency coefficients to produce Asymp sig. 0.010. Abstract

Abstract. This research is a Research and Development (R & D) which aims to determine the validity, practicality and effectiveness of interactive multimedia that has been developed in the material characteristics of living things. The research and development model used in the development of interactive multimedia for students of class VII SMPLB-B, refers to the ADDIE development model developed by Dick and Carry. The five main stages of the ADDIE model are Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluations. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the increase in activity, motivation and student learning outcomes through the application of the model Problem Based Learning (PBL) in class XI MIPA 1 MAN Enrekang on cell material. This type of research is a classroom action research (CAR) which consists of 2 cycles. The subjects in this study were students of class XI MIPA 1 MAN Enrekang. The type of research instrument used was a learning activity observation sheet, a learning motivation questionnaire and a learning outcome test in the form of multiple-choice tests of 20 items for each cycle of cell material. The data obtained were analyzed statistically descriptive. The results showed that (1) there was an increase in the biology learning activities of students in class XI MIPA 1 MAN Enrekang namely classically from 66.47% increased to 80.03%, the amount of increase from cycle I to cycle II was 13.56%; (2) an increase in biology learning motivation of students in class XI MIPA 1 MAN Enrekang that is classically from 82.87% to 86.97%, the amount of increase from cycle I to cycle II is 4.11%; (3) an increase in biology learning outcomes of students in class XI MIPA 1 MAN Enrekang namely from 59.38% of students who completed to 96.88%, the number of increases from cycle I to cycle II was 37.50%. These results indicate that the application of the Problem Based Learning model can improve the activity, motivation and learning outcomes of students of the XI MIPA 1 MAN class Enrekang.Keywords: Problem Based Learning, activity, motivation and learning outcomes

Abstract

Abstract. This research applied Quasy Experiment which aimed to explain the influence of Peer Tutoring Model toward students’ Biology Cognitive learning outcome at SMAN 5 Bone. The population of this research was the second semester of the XI IPA students at SMAN 5 Bone. The samples of this research were the XI IPA1 and XI IPA2 students with the total number of 45 students. The samples were selected by purposive sampling technique. The data were obtained through learning outcome test. The result of the research showed that (1) students’ learning outcome in the control class were getting enhancement at the average of 40,32 and were at the level of the highest category, high category, and moderate category and was at moderate category (2) students’ learning outcome in the experimental class were improved at average 49,85 and were at the level of the highest category, high category, and moderate category and was at high category (5) application of Peer Tutoring model significantly influenced the student’s learning outcomes of Biology.Keywords: peer tutoring model, cognitive learning outcome
