Abstract

This article points out the results of the study attempting to solve thespeaking problem faced by students in one of the Secondary School inEast Lampung. For the purpose of the topic, 35 students were selectedas the subject. Research method was Classroom Action Research withKemmis and Taggart model. It was conducted for about four cycles.According to the results of speaking test, findings showed that usingCommunicative Language Teaching (CLT) had positive meaningfuleffect on improving students’ speaking skill. To sum up, CLT is aneffective method to teach speaking to the subject.Keyword: Communicative Language Teaching, Speaking Skill.

Abstract

The teacher certification is an official program to improve teacher’s quality as well as his/her social status. There are two ways of certification of teacher in working, namely by portfolio assessment and by professional education assessment. But the certification actually runs on seniority, not professionally. It results that many certified teachers will be soon retired. The fact shows that the certified teachers are not always professional ones and in turn does not always improve the educational quality. Therefore the certification should be professionally practiced so the certified teachers verily improve the educational quality. Key words: sertifikasi guru, sertifikasi profesional, mutu pendidikan.

Abstract

Two factors determine the productivity of work so the teacher is the abilityand willingness to teach, skills related to competence resulting from thelevel of education while teaching a willingness to do with motivation.Work productivity associated with the ratio between output and inputsused to produce outputs. An organization of educational institutions bothgovernment and private sector in issuing its products always require inputin the form of raw materials, capital, energy, technology, human resources(HR), and so forth. But the most urgent input is itself a human resource forsophisticated and complete as any other input if human resources are notworking then all the input there would be no meaning. The quality of humanresources is determined from the level of education the longer time spenton education, the higher ability or competence in doing the work, so thehigher the productivity of its work. Abstract

The case of household violence physically or psychologically nowadays isoften we hear. That reality factually shows that the violence in the householdtoward wife, is the common phenomenon in the societal environment.This case is sure not away from the social construct which is developed inthe middle of society that s husband is the head of family and has a fullauthority to the part of family including wife. In that context this researchis making effort to peel off how the problem of protecting implementationtoward women in violence (KDRT) and Islam gives the answers.In the context of women protection in the household, Al-Quran texts give alot of answers which order to make the relationship of household as ma’rufin the meaning of equal, fair, and democratic. In the terminology of UshulFiqh, this concerning agrees with what the goals of law are, that is the lawtoward ive aspects (al-kulliyat al-khams), which one is soul protection (hifzan-nafs). This explains that Islamic law brings the mission of protection, itis as a God’s mercy to all humans in this world. Abstract

Every human being has different abilities. There are those who have potential in certain fields and not necessarily able in other fields. Some have intelligence (intelligence question) above average and some are IQ below average. But basically there is no stupid child, only the child whose IQ is below the average is rather slow in achieving an educational goal. While the child whose IQ is being he will continue to follow the learning process in accordance with the targeted curriculum. For children whose IQ is above average, they will learn more quickly in the education process. In children who have above average ability, need to be treated proportionally. With the potential development of children with above-average capabilities, they do not have to wait for other children to achieve schooling. They can get education in a fast time. Then there is the need for a class for children who have the ability to exceed children of his age. One solution to the problem with the holding of acceleration classes. For children who have special intelligence it is necessary for the development of learning. For that we need a curriculum. Curriculum serves as a tool to achieve the goal, which is able to deliver students through teaching and learning activities undertaken by teachers to students to become human beings in accordance with the goals of education naisonal. Curriculum can be done with the curriculum management so that the curriculum used in acceleration classes can be organized and adjusted to the conditions of students in acceleration classes so that the goal of education is achieved. Abstract

Disposesi is a genuine treasure of philosophy in Islam was introduced by aMuslim philosopher Baqir as-Sadr. With his pithy thoughts, Baqir bridgingpolar empiricism and rationalism are dichotomous. In the context of theissue of polygamy, with the construction of Disposesi’s think, polygamy isa proposition that is believed to be true in the Qur’an and it is a primaryconception. Abstract

The presence of the children who work in places that are categorized as the worst forms of child appropriate for 1982 ILO Convention still be a serious problem and quite significant in this country. Child labor becomes a problematic because in practice the presence of the children there almost resembles the practice of slavery, exploitation of children throughout the day, so practically deprive a child of all their human rights in accordance with the Convention on the Rights of the Child as well as all laws and regulations applicable in the country this. Millions of Indonesian children are now being forced or compelled lost childhood and play them. Economic reasons, most of them forced into underage workers are loaded with risk. Abstract

Institutions of Islamic boarding school is the oldest in Indonesia. No one knows for sure when these institutions emerged in Indonesia. The educational institutions, led by clerics have two models; modern and salaf. Feature modern Islamic boarding school is to include a general learning courses in the curriculum. While salaf Islamic boarding school did not enter common subjecs in its curriculum. The problem in this research is how the role of Islami boarding school in shaping the morals and character of the Nation. And the purpose of the research was to determine how the role of Islamic boarding school in shaping the morals and character of the Nation. The kind of research is kualitatif. The primary data used is a books that talk about the curriculum and the role of Islamic boarding school. While the secondary data used is the books or the research results directly related to the issue. Analysis method used is descriptive analysis, which is trying to dig the problems that axist and than analyze it. The results showed that Islamic boarding school have a role in shaping the morals dan character of the Nation. It is evidenced by the number of the Nation that was born from Islamic boarding school. Islamic boarding school needs to be preserved and developed. That’s the Islamic boarding school have many roles and provide tangible proof in forming the nation’s moral and character. Abstract

In the contex of Islamic education, teacher is not someone who has a dutyto teach to the students. More than that, teacher is the spiritual father whogives a soul knowledge, leads the morals and make a right for bad behaviorwhich did by the students. But if we turn to the reality this day about adegradation of teacher’s ethic in any region, we perhaps little doubt thecredibility of teacher in having that duty and responsibility. Even, the senseof pesimism will soon if we see the sequence of news that makes the teacheras a main actor in any criminal and immoral behavior.That problem needs to be based on the importance of total comprehensiontoward the values of moral or ethic for a teacher who particularly willbe a need urgely. It is same as the view of al-Māwardī about the ethic ofteacher, which must have a several ethic, as tawadlu’ and avoid the attitudeof priding itself (‘ujub). Having ability to read the characteristic everystudents, avoid itself form shubbat, need to be qana’ah, sincere, and neverlose hope. That thought of al-Māwardī is sure very relevant with the worldof education in Indonesia at this moment.Keywords: teacher ethics, al-Mawardi’s thought
