Abstract

The gas industry generally uses TEG (Triethylene Glycol) to extract the water content in natural gas. TEG that has been used can be reused by means of regeneration. . This process has a side product, namely water vapor. The water vapor produced from the regeneration process can be used for sanitation purposes by changing the phase to liquid (water). Water produced from regeneration must go through the stages of wastewater treatment before being used because it contains impurities. One of the stages of wastewater treatment is settling which includes flocculation and coagulation. The sedimentation process is one of the sources of danger in wastewater treatment. Sources of danger in the deposition process can come from added chemicals, mixing processes that occur due to reactions between chemicals and the use of agitators which, if not appropriate, can cause process failure or danger to workers. Hazard identification techniques are needed in the deposition process to prevent process failures or work accidents. In this research, hazard identification was carried out using HAZOPs. The risk assessment of the settling unit in the gas industry wastewater treatment plant shows that there are 2 medium risks and 2 low risks

Abstract

The Griyo Mulyo Jabon Final Waste Processing Site (TPA) in Sidoarjo Regency with a waste generation reached 350 tons/day had the potential to be processed into raw material for Refused Derived Fuel (RDF). RDF fuel had come from waste residue briquettes contained the composition of paper, wood, cloth, rubber, and plastic (4K1P). Briquettes that can be used as raw materials for RDF were those that have characteristics according to SNI standards. This study aimed to determine the percentage of the composition of briquettes that have the potential to produce RDF and the standard quality of the resulting RDF. The reseach was conducted by taking waste samples every week four times with variations in detention time of 2, 4 and 6 hours.a. The method of calculating the value of RDF standard quality was in accordance with SNI 01-6235-2000 with the parameters analyzed were water content, ash content, volatile/steam content and calorific value. The results showed that the best briquette composition produced from 4K1P waste residue was in samples with a composition of 20% wood, 10% paper, 10% rubber/fabric, and 60% plastic. The best quality briquettes with 5.5% moisture content, 4.9% ash content, 15.9% steam content, and calorific value 8996 cal/gram.

Abstract

CV. Dua Putra is a manufacturing company that categorized as a low medium enterprice. This company produces shoes such as futsal shoes, running shoes, casual, and also kids shoes. This company still using traditional inventory planning where component of their product will be bought when the stock is out. As a consequence there often be exceed and also run out of inventory in the storage. This research is aimed to plan material inventory for Airpro futsal on CV. Dua Putra. The method that is used in this reseach is Material Requirement Planning (MRP). Based on MRP result, the time required to complete demand in september is 34 days, 34 days for demand in October, and 23 days for demand in November.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the relationship of nutritional status of pregnant women with the prevalence of LBW. A quantitative study with the descriptive analytic design was conducted using cross-sectional approach in primary health care (Puskesmas) Sugihwaras, Bojonegoro.The subject of this study is all babies with Low Birth Weight (LBW) at Puskesmas Sugihwaras Bojonegoro. Hence, the sampling technique was total sampling. Data was collected using secondary data instrument such as medical record and mother-child healthreport (KIA) from Puskesmas Sugihwaras. Nutritional status of pregnant women was assessed based on measurement of Mid-upper Arm Circumference. The spearman rank correlation test showed that there is a significant correlation (p-value <0,05)between nutritional status of pregnant mother with the prevalence of LBW in Puskesmas of Sugihwaras, Bojonegoro.

Abstract

Corrosion that occurs in a gas flowline is a serious problem because it can cause leaks that lead to material loss and environmental pollution. The aims of this research were to analyze the corrosion occurred in gas flowline of carbon steel 5l Grade B and the effect of inhibitor TIC-8002 GCI to the corrosion rate of metal. This research was conducted using SEM-EDX to analyze and produce various types of metals and corrosion crust. Metals corrosion test and the effect of inhibitors on the corrosion rate of metals were carried out by linear polarization methods. The result of SEM-EDX showed that inner pipe surface occurred pitting corrosion caused by dissolved chloride ions in the electrolite that flows in the pipeline. The result of XRD showed that corrosion products of carbon steel were Fe2O3 and FeOOH. The result of linear polarization showed that the corrosion rate of steel about 0.642 mmy without using inhibitor. The addition of an inhibitor can reduce the corrosion rate in carbon steel. The increase in inhibitor concentration from 10 ppm to 50 ppm can reduce the corrosion rate from 0.633 mmy to 0.394 mmy along with an increase in inhibition efficiency from 1.32% to 38.6%.

Abstract

The degradation of Vitamin C in orange and tomato juice with sucrose addition and were storaged for 0, 30, and 60 minutes at room temperature were investigated. The level of vitamin C in juice was ensured by spectrophotometric method. The result indicated that vitamin C in sample with sucrose addition, decreased by about 0,41% (orange juice); 0,47% (tomato juice) after 30 minutes of storage; and 0,82% (orange juice); 1,19% (tomato juice) after 60 minutes of storage; while vitamin C in sample without sucrose addition, decreased by about 1,2% (orange juice); 2,12% (tomato juice) for 30 minutes of storage; and 2,45% (orange juice); 2,89% (tomato juice) for 60 minutes of storage. In conclusion, sugar addition and storage time could affect the degradation of vitamin C.

Abstract

Fintech is a financial industry that creates financial services with a more efficient system, loan-based without guarantees, and intermediaries for people who are not served by conventional financial institutions. There are still many people who do not know how to use fintech correctly. This study aims to determine what variables affect the use of new technology in the form of financial technology lending with 51 respondents using the integration of two approaches, namely Theory of Acceptance Model (TAM) and The Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (Utaut). For Utaut, add one new variable, brand and service trust. The TAM variable used is the perception of the use (PU), the perception of ease of use (PEOU), attitudes (ATT), intention to use (ITU), use (USE). While the utaut variable used is social influence (SI) and facilitation conditions (PU). Then all these variables are formed into conceptual models and are processed with SmartPLS 3.0 software. The result is to present receipts of 7 of 8 hypotheses that show the positive effects of respondents on the use of fintech lending applications. The final result of this study is that the respondent of this study has felt the ease and usefulness of the use of fintech lending applications.

Abstract

PT Tirta Sukses Perkasa is a manufacturing company engaged in the production of plastic for packing CLUB mineral water products. Based on initial observations, this company experienced problems in controlling raw materials, thereby reducing cost effectiveness and efficiency. The purpose of this study is to control and determine the amount of raw materials that must be provided. This study used a descriptive quantitative approach with 25 material populations. This study used purposive sampling with a total sample of 4 materials. Researchers here as research instruments that act as data collectors. The analysis method used is the Material Requirement Planning (MRP) method with the help of QM for Windows V5 software. Based on the research results, the MPS forecasting method uses the Moving Averages technique, because it has smaller MAD, MSE and MAPE values compared to using the Exponential Smoothing method. The most optimal Lot sizing uses the Lot for lot technique compared to using the EOQ method because it has a lower total inventory cost.

Abstract

One of the products produced by PT. XYZ is in the form of a white plastic spoon in the production process, and problems are often found in the form of products having defects that significantly affect the quality, management system, and expenses of the company. To overcome this, an analysis was carried out using the Six Sigma method, and from the calculation results obtained a sigma value of 3.9 with a defect value of 10531 for a million production. From the results of the analysis carried out to push the company towards zero defects by seeking improvements to machine and human factors as the main factors for product defect problems, some of the recommendations for improvements given are to carry out maintenance on the machines and tools that exist in the company, to rearrange the machines damaged by changing parts so as not to hinder the ongoing production flow, supervising worker operators using Production Operations Standards (SOP), conducting a worker appraisal system according to applicable regulations so that workers are motivated to perform better. Abstract

Tempe chips are the production processed products made from tempe; the market for this sale is all circles. Various ages and groups can consume it because it is reasonably affordable. Tempe chips are light snacks made from processed tempe that has gone tthrough several production processes. The production process carried out by business actors depends on their respective capabilities, up to the standardization of the cuts reflected in who processes them and from which Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). It is from the obstacles faced by SME business players. So that the redesign that will be carried out in this study is to add attributes not found in previous studies, namely tools that can produce tempe slices with low water content so that it will shorten the production process again and increase the efficiency of production time, the research method used is the rational method.
