Abstract

In today's era of globalization we often encountered a number of actions away from the noble values of the implementation of the objectives of education. For example quarrel between students, drunkenness that most perpetrators of students, abuse of illicit drugs, and other, even worse, not only junior and senior high school students are to be the culprit, but also elementary school students do this. That is because education is still a routine of materials stuffing to the student or transferring of knowledge. It is therefore important to implement a new educational concept, the concept of private education that emphasizes the balancing of students with cognitive, psychomotor, and affective. This concept was then widely referred to as the concept of character education. Character education should be imparted to the personal child as early as possible, especially when children are in the family circle. The role of parents is enormous in shaping the morals and attitudes of children. In the Qur'an, many verses that offend or discuss about character education, namely in the letter Al-Isra verse 23 and letter Luqman verse 14, this proves that the Qur'an pays more attention to the character building.

Abstract

Learning is the basic human need to know something, whether packed formally or not. There is not one method that is appropriate and certainly appropriate with all students. Students have their own learning styles between one another can’t be equated. Real memorable learning comes from the will of the heart, not coercion. The uniqueness of each individual is what makes the variety of learning styles should be understood so that each student can overcome difficulties learning. In the implementation of learning many teachers doesn’t understand the learning style, so as to force students to always pay attention to the speech and explanation of teachers. The learning process will be effective if the method of learning  used can accommodate students. Research on the most appropriate teaching methods turns out to be a failure, because each teaching method depends on the way or style of the student in learning. This research was conducted in the school as a place of observation (field research) by using a quantitative approach. Data were collected by questionnaires, observations, interviews, and document studies which were then processed and analytically analyzed descriptively. The results of research showed that a class can not be equally aligned using and applying a single learning method only. Because in the class there are several learning styles of students. The student's learning style visually dominates the class, followed by the auditorial style, and the kinesthetic style. This research also provides advice to educators / teachers to understand the diversity of student learning styles. so that with the basic teachers are required to be more creative and innovative in applying the method of learning so that all learning styles of students can be accommodated, so that with this understanding of learning achievement can be improved.

Abstract

The problem of al-hakim (law makers) or syari?ah is a contentious issues of Ushul Fiqh especially related to al-hakim or judge before the prophetic of Prophet Muhammad. This debate raise the concept of al-tahsin and at-taqbih. There were groups of Ahlu Sunna, Mu?tazilah, and Maturidiyah. This debate had an implication for the differences in: (a) the status of persons who had not reached him an Islamic dakwah or propaganda; (2) syukral mu?im (the obligation of grateful to the delights giver); and (c) the position of mind in ijtihad. This paper will elaborate these debates with the following appeared impacts.

Abstract

Indonesia follows the global trend entering the creative industries, including the publication of literary works. It is a challenge for educationists to inculcate creativity among students literary writing. Students are expected to be a productive man in composing short story as stated in the 2013 curriculum. Considering this, the dispersion learning model is designed for students to learn writing a short story, achieving learning goal planned, and realize the goals of national education. The learning model is not only allows student to be creative and productive in writing short story, but also emphasize discussion in group with mutual support. Since the eginning of learning, students were involved in group, while the teacher acts as a facilitator, motivator, and inspirator. The learning procedure includes six activities: watch, share, give character figure, thugh, exercise, and publish.

Abstract

This study describes the management and developmentmodels of bandha waqf Masjid Agung Semarang which has a land area of 119.1270 hectares endowments. Historically, bandha waqf has undergone a process of exchange-bolsters the controversial and spawned a unique form of management, which is managed by three different agencies with no unified management system. According to KMA Number 92 Year 1962, the party who was appointed as manager (nazhir) is a Mosque Welfare Agency (Badan Kesejahteraan Masjid/BKM) Semarang. But in fact, most of bandha waqf Masjid Agung Semarang are managed by BKM, Executive Board of Masjid Agung Semarang, and Executive Board of Masjid Agung Jawa Tengah.Management of bandha waqf can be divided into two forms of endowments or waqf, the consumptive waqf and the productive waqf. Each form is managed with many models, such as the management of endowments for the benefit of bandha waqf for worship, preaching, education, health, and economic empowerment through business units. The management of bandha waqf has set an agenda of development expected to improve the performance of bandha waqf so as to realize the goal. Some bandha waqf asset have developed economically through the efforts of businesses such as gas stations (SPBU) has been got certificate of Pasti Pas and many facilities of business in the Masjid Agung Jawa Tengah. The others, through diversification techniques, bandha waqf currently have more pattern models of business. Nevertheless, up to now, the management and development of bandha waqf has not shown the expected results due to facing many obstacles, especially the management problems that have not been applying the principles of good waqf governance, such as transparency, accountability, independence, fairness, and responsibility. The management of bandha waqf also face problems of conflicts of interest between managers which potentially lose the trust of stakeholders. Therefore, it is important that waqf managed and developed by the human resources that have a good vision of entrepreneurship, have multiple intelligences that can minimize conflicts possibly occur, and have the ability to establish networking with stakeholders.

Abstract

The curriculum and learning have a very central position (importance) in education. Curriculum as written material or educational program (ideal curriculum) with more emphasis on operational learning process (real curriculum). The curriculum is related to the content/material that must be learned while the learning is related to the way to learn it. Without the curriculum as a plan, then learning will not be effective, and vice versa without learning as the implementation of a plan, the curriculum will have no meaning what. The curriculum aims as a direction, guidance, or assigns in the implementation of the learning process ). The curriculum directs all forms of learning activities for the achievement of educational goals.Thus, the curriculum and learning is an absolute requirement in a series of activities of educational institutions. What if there is no curriculum and lesson in school? In this case it is seen that the position of curriculum and learning is very central in the implementation of educational objectives, so that if there is no curriculum then the learning will not achieve the goal well, because in the curriculum contains the educational plan as a guide and also as a source of guidance in the implementation of learning field for educational institutions.

Abstract

An Islamic education is based on, from, and for the society. In its implementation, however, there is a kind of trilogy in Islamic education which reinforces and benefits each other. firstly, school is an institution implementing an islamic education that make a serious effort on educating the society. Secondly, society, in this case, is as an important factor of the school, its death and life, depends much on the society. Thirdly, government is the policy holder that gives a direction for the school. When those three institutions strengthen one each other, they give benefit, however when they weaken one each other, they are damaged. So who get benefit and who are damaged? It, of course, benefits and damages themselves, whether for the society, school or the government. If those interrelation are not certainly good, those should be uncovered to strengthen the school existence.

Abstract

Family is the smallest unit in society and as one of the social institutions in society. Family as a social system has the duty and function to make the system works. The function of education becomes one of the most important functions of a family. Education of family provides the first experience that is an important factor in the children's personal development, as well as the first and main education of the children. Islam as a religion that regulates all aspects of human life does neglect out to regulate about education in the family. Islamic education is part of an effort to instill the values of Islamic teachings in its followers. Islam places the family as the foundation of Islamic values. Activities of islamic education in order to build the muslim personality have to start early, in the family environment. Visionary families will make their lives more organized and prepared for the challenges of life in the future, including will be able to build a family that generates a superior generation. To realize the education of visionary muslim family, Islam guides to start early, even since choosing a partner of life, children care since the womb, continuously going on the process of growth and education in the family.

Abstract

Writing can lead students to acquire and develop the power of reason. Therefore, learning to write must be done correctly to students from low-grade. The selection of appropriate learning media and methods as well as the variety of learning models will assist students in improving writing short stories. One way to improve students' skills of writing short stories is the use of models of snowball throwing. In fact there are many obstacles in learning to write short stories and is still oriented toward purely theoretical. Low interest teachers and students to learn to write, especially write short stories as well be one cause. Similarly, in the SDN Janti Slahung Ponorogo especially for students in grade V. Learning to write short stories have not been able to work as expected because 80% of grade V students learn to write student achievement is low, the value of Indonesian KKM 70.00 has not been achieved. To overcome these problems, the authors find a solution to save a way of throwing a snowball models packed in a class action research (PTK) of the cycle phases. Learning model used in this study and the model of snowball throwing fun it brings results. It can be seen from the results of student learning to write short stories I persiklus the cycle reaches the average value of 69.00 at the end of the second cycle, while the average achievement of students increased to 76.75 with 100% completeness. An increase in student achievement and motivation in learning to write short stories using the model of snowball throwing, this is evident from the sight of people exiting and student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The aspect of faith is still interesting to study, due to a lot of faith deviation by the islamic society in Indonesia. The islamic faith founding, therefore, needs the specific strategy bacause faith hold the central role of one?s relegion. In a religious concept, if a moslem has a wrong faith, it means his worship and charity will not be accepted by Allah SWT. This research aimed to describe the strategy of Islamic faith founding at Darul Fikri Boarding School of Ponorogo. In collecting the data, the researcher used in-depth interview, observation, and documentation. The research result showed three important points of the faith founding strategy, such as: (1) choosing the reference which was appropriate to Qur?an and Hadist. (2) coordinating the tauhid training (daurah) for teachers and students. Generally, it could be concluded that the teachers hold the important role in the faith founding, that they should have a better faith before teaching it to their students and also the students should get enough knowledge of faith. (3) creating an Islamic environment which would be unseparated system in the islamic faith founding and all islamic teaching.
