The character education refers to the efforst to bring up the children to be mature with good ethics and morales. In Hindu, the education is setting the foundation, orientation, and perspectives that could be used mentally and spiritually for the character building. The mental toughness is related to the intelectuality as well as the personality that could avoid negativity and keep on progressing and understanding the tests of life. Spirituality is related to the belief in God, developing the devotion to Him, and taking any works as a service to Him. With these all Hindus may always do good deeds and compete through ages.

This writing has main purpose that is to know head masterâs role in improving educational quality, leadership, duty, and headmasterâs role in improving educational quality, leardership, duty, and headmasterâs role in order to produce process and product of quality education. Educational quality is our hope in facing strict life exchange in several sectors especially in education sectors for better future. For the sake of making educational quality, this needs role of leaders in educational institutes. One of them is headmaster because it is the pioneer is moving all changes to go to educational quality. Headmasterâs duty is not only leading ceremony, waiting incoming letter to be signed but also making a good quality of education in school. Specifically headmasterâs role in improving quality of education are doing monitoring, evaluating continually toward seccessful program determined, planning and arranging word plan agreed with improving needs of educational quality which orients on schoolâs mission, making intensive commumication with teachers, students, studentâs parents and society.

Education is very important factor in building civilization. A civilization or a country will advance rapidly when its education system give such a great contributions to the development of Human Resources. The advancement of a nation is determined by the extent of the educational institution which has succeeded in building its human being into a superior human being, in order to be a dignified world citizen. Hindu civilization greatly emphasizes the importance of education. In the history of Sanatana Dharma, education gets an enormous portion along with the building of the concept of gurukula, where teachers and sisya are live together in an educational institution. Moreover, when the West has not found an established educational system, India has built the worlds earliest university Thaksashila or Taxila with a highly developed teaching system. But the progress of civilization in the past has not always been well inherited in the next era. Currently, Hindus especially in Indonesia are faced with Hindu-based education that is able to answer global challenges. Not only prosecuted to build superior human resources, but educational institutions are required to mastered technology as a global phenomenon. Hindu educational institutions were requested to be capable for becoming a modern gurukula as well as capable for realizing superior human resources.

Penerapan Metode Tutor Sebaya Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Pendidikan Agama Hindu Pada Siswa Kelas III Sekolah Dasar Negeri 1 Sukadana Adi Palistini, Ni Luh

The purpose of this study is: to know the results of student learning through the application of Peer Tutor method in grade 3 students of Primary School Negeri 1 Sukadana.Penelitian is Classroom Action Research conducted in two cycles, each consisting of four stages: planning, observation, reflection. The research subjects are the third grade students of SD Negeri 1 Sukadana which amounted to 24 people.The method used is a test method to collect data on student learning outcomes. After all collected, the data is analyzed descriptively quantitative. Data analysis in this research using quantitative descriptive. The results showed the students learning outcomes in the first cycle average score of learning outcomes with low categories. The average value of student learning outcomes in the first cycle is 77.08 with 66.66% classical completeness, absorption 77.08%. Then on the second cycle has increased, the average learning outcome becomes 82.29 classical completeness to 91.66% and absorption to 82.29%. And result of analysis of learning result of cycle I and II have increase of average value of result of learning equal to 5,21 classical completeness equal to 25% absorption equal to 5,21% with use of peer tutor method.Based on the results of this study can be concluded the use of peer tutors can improve learning outcomes Hindu Religious Education. (1) Hindu Education Teachers to try to apply the use of peer tutors (2) Other researchers are expected to conduct further research related to the application of innovative learning models.

Cooperative learning : group investigation (GI) is a learning strategy to determine the studentâs development and progress that oriented to class activities and allow students to use a variety of learning resources besides teachers. Thelow learning achievement obtained by students in particular on the subjects of Hinduism is noteworthy. It is caused by several factors, including the intelligence of students, student motivation, interest in learning, study habits, as well as external factors such as student living environment, the infrastructure that supports the learning process inadequate. To see whether the implementation of Cooperative Learning type Group Investigation able to improve student learning outcomes, this study applied the model to the 2nd year student (class F) in SMP Negeri 3 Denpasar school year 2011/2012. This study was classifiedas a class action (classroom action reseach) which is the subject is the 2nd year student (class F) as many as 28 people and the object of research is thestudentâs learning activities. This study used primary data obtained directly from the students by using the technique of testing and observation sheet. The collected data were analyzed descriptively based on the average and standarddeviation that obtained through the results of the evaluation scores at each end of the cycle. The results showed a very significant increase in activity of students from an average score of 2.93 in the first cycle to 4.14 in the second cycle. The average student achievement in the first cycle is 70.64 with classical completeness of 60% increased to 75.54 with classical completeness of 92.9%.

The progress of a nation is determined by the quality of Human Resources (HR). One characteristic of qualified human resources is to have multiple intelligences. Multiple intelligences consisting of linguistic, logical-reasoning, bodily kinesthetic, interpersonal, intrapersonal, musical, naturalist, and spatial. Development of multiple intelligences can be done since primary school, one of which is using science learning. The characteristics of the science learning process can allows the growth of multiple intelligences in primary school students.The development of multiple intelligences in primary schools requires important roles of teachers and schools. Multiple intelligences will help students to achieve the specified competency standards.

Early childhood education itself is education aimed at preschool children with the aim that children can develop their potential from an early age so that they can develop naturally as children. Based on experience in TK Negeri Pembina Belik, Researchers found a problem in the language character of students, namely the lack of verbal communication between students with one another, children are still quiet and rarely communicate directly with their peers. The formulation of the problem to be studied in this study is the lack of communication activities among peers due to the lack of communication support media that attracts and motivates children to start a conversation or communication directly / verbally. The use of paper puppet media carried out in two cycles has a positive impact on several components of activities, especially for students. Children are more actively communicating, independent, fostering self-confidence, and strong curiosity. The application of this media can be carried out in various learning and development aspects.

Selection and application of specific learning strategies to study religion. Likewise, learning with Hinduism learning strategies at Sekolah Luar Biasa C Negeri Bangli, with their disability from mental and weak dimensions or low IQ, the right strategy and in accordance with the students background is one of the determining factors for achieving goals and the spirit of the learning process itself.The results of the study show the following results: Strategy of learning Hinduism in Special Schools C Country Bangli is an individual learning strategy (individual learning) and exposition learning learning strategies. The stages of learning Hinduism in Sekolah Luar Biasa C Negeri Bangli are: 1) student factors, students often desire themselves and are difficult to regulate; 2) teacher factors, teachers who often have difficulty understanding students from different IQ levels of students; 3) School factors, lack of educators, facilities and planning make the teaching and learning process stunted, especially lack of learning media facilities. Efforts made in learning Hinduism in Special Schools in Bangli State C are as follows: 1) attachment of special educators to Hinduism educators; 2) Provide special educatio n to teaching staff such as for special education for Sekolah Luar Biasa C Negeri Bangli; 3) the teacher simplifies learning so that students have more material provided by the teacher; 4) The school strives for the appointment of classrooms, provides learning media with interesting drawings, gives more attention and prepares students from facilities in learning, and provides special learning programs for SLB C / Mentally disabled children, namely self-development and self-development.

In human nature, apart from being individual beings as well as social beings who have their own culture. Culture arises in humans due to reason and thought in the human being itself. Humans will be able to live perfectly when they live together with other humans, in relation to other humans, certain norms or rules are needed. In the regulation, one of them was written about the procedure for honoring guests called Athiti Krama. Athiti Krama gives motivation in human life because through this human being can foster good relations between humans one with other human beings in harmony. The implementation of Athiti Krama can be found in societies everywhere in the world, both in the advanced society and the people who are still modest in their civilization. In social life, everyone should behave well so as to create happiness for themselves and the community, because in the teachings of Hinduism, Athiti Krama teachings are basically contained which can bring people to achieve harmony in social order in society. The basis of Athiti Kramas teachings is the ethics or morality that many of the Vedic scriptures have mentioned, one of which is Tri Kaya Parisudha. Considering the importance of Athiti Krama as a social guide in peoples lives. So it should be known to be applied in the learning process in Pasraman Dharma Bhakti.
