Abstract

TRAINING OF OBJECTIVITY AND THE IMPORTANCE OF LEARNING IN PARENTING FOR CHILDREN. Family is a group consisting of individuals bound by marriage or blood relationship consisting of parents (father, mother) and children. In the family, the biggest role is parents. Parents have an obligation to educate, and raise children as well as possible which in the process involves parenting. In parenting, parents must pay attention to the elements of objectivity and learning, namely parents must be able to assess and pay attention to children according to their portions and their willingness to learn. This activity is carried out to support parents' knowledge about the objective and learning elements. The audience is the women of the RPTRA community as many as 47 people. Submission of objective and learning materials will be delivered through lecture teaching methods and also distributing pre-test and post-test forms. As a result, there were many variants of answers from the audience, and this activity increased their understanding of good parenting. This activity is still limited to the level of knowledge and understanding, there is still a need for more effective follow-up activities so that they can be applied in life.

Abstract

SOCIALIZATION OF VARIOUS STUDY PROGRAMS IN COMPUTER SCIENCE CLUMS FOR SMA/SMK STUDENTS IN WEST SUMATERA. The international computer curriculum has determined that computer science has 5 courses of study. However, not all people know in detail about the scope of learning and competencies of each of these study programs. Ignorance of prospective students about this difference in scope can cause problems in the studies they take later, such as being not enthusiastic about studying because they feel that they are in the wrong major or students' unpreparedness in accepting the competence of the study program. Therefore, socialization is given to high school students in the hope of disseminating information and basic knowledge about the scope of the study of the various study programs so that it becomes a provision for the younger generation to choose an education that will determine their future careers. This socialization activity was attended by 36 participants from various schools in several different provinces. The results of the survey conducted at the end of the activity showed that 60.5% of the participants were confident about their choice of study plan. This percentage confirms that the objectives of the outreach activities have been well achieved.

Abstract

A TRAINING OF THE UTILIZATION OF STUDENT NEED-BASED LEARNING MEDIA FOR BABUSSALAM AL-QUR'AN EDUCATION KINDERGARTEN (AEK) BOGOR TEACHERS. This community service program entitled "A Training of the Utilization of Student Need-Based Learning Media for Babussalam Al-Qur'an Education Kindergarten (AEK) Bogor Teachers" aims to improve the ability of Babussalam AEK teachers in Cilebut Barat Village, Bogor Regency, Jawa Barat in developing instructional media in compliance with the needs of students. This activity involved partners, namely the teachers and students of Babussalam AEK. This activity employed training method. The activity started with an initial visit to analyze the situation and needs of the teachers at the site. From the results of the visit, it was agreed that this activity was focused on increasing the ability of teachers in developing instructional media according to student needs. This activity held four meetings. Monitoring and assessment to follow up on the results of PkM activities is carried out at the end of the activity. The results show that after going through community service activities, the teachers are able to understand and implement the theory and techniques of developing learning media based on student needs.

Abstract

UTILIZATION OF SWEET POTATOES AS CATFISH FEED IN SINDANGKARYA VILLAGE, MENES DISTRICT, PANDEGLANG REGENCY. Sweet potatoes have the potential to be made into various processed, one of which is a source of carbohydrates in fish-feed. Every day there is an increase in the fish feeds' price without an increase in the selling price of cultivated fish, which is a problem faced by fish cultivators. So, the search for alternative feeds, namely natural feed that is cheap and easy to find, continues to be conducted to reduce production costs. Moreover, to reduce costs, the protein sources for feed are utilizing the cheap local raw materials of snail meat flour. This activity is expected to motivate the growth of independent fish feed groups from local raw materials and provide knowledge to the community to utilize village natural resources into products with selling value, in order to improve the community welfare. The activity begins with the first stage of activity preparation, the preparation of raw feed materials, coordination with the village and presenters, and schedule preparation. The second stage is socialization or counseling to villagers about the benefits of making fish feed independently and the stages of making catfish feed made of sweet potatoes and snails that contains good nutritional by Lecturer of the Fisheries Science Study Program, Muh. Herjayanto, S.Pi., M.Si. The third stage is training for Sindangkarya Villagers in making the fish feed made from sweet potato flour and snail flour independently accompanied by lecturers and students. Community service activities conducted in Sindangkarya Village can be said to have enough participation from the local community. A good response is shown by the counseling process that has run smoothly and actively asking questions, so the process of making fish feed made from sweet potato flour and snail flour can run well.

Abstract

REPORT OF OBSERVATION OF BED AVAILABILITY FOR COVID-19 PATIENTS AT HOSPITAL IN BANDUNG CITY REGION BASED ON SIRANAP WEB. This observation aims to analyze the level of accuracy and the real time nature of the data on the SIRANAP web conducted by hospitals in the city of Bandung. We did this observation for 16 days by taking screenshots 3 times every day with a random screenshot schedule. This observed update time is then rounded to the nearest 30 minutes to obtain a data resolution. From these observations, it is suspected that the data from seven hospitals in Bandung on SIRANAP website is inaccurate. Of the seven hospitals in the city of Bandung, only one hospital is categorized as real-time, which are Hasan Sadikin General Hospital, the other six hospitals are categorized as not real-time. Based on the standard deviation of SIRANAP data, seven hospitals in Bandung City have different update times. Therefore, it can also be concluded that the data on SIRANAP has not been able to help the people of Bandung City optimally.

Abstract

TRAINING AND ASSISTANCE IN STRENGTHENING PROMOTION USING SOCIAL MEDIA FACILITIES IN MSMES IN PASAR KEONG VILLAGE, LEBAK REGENCY, RANGKASBITUNG. This Abdimas aims to provide training and assistance in terms of making promotional facilities on social media for MSMEs in Lebak Regency, namely in Pasar Keong Rangkasbitung Village. The chosen social media is Instagram, because for WhatsApp, on average, the trainees have already promoted there, so Instagram is an additional promotional media for them. There were 15 participants with various businesses, including wet cakes, chips, agricultural products, basic necessities and so on. They are very enthusiastic about participating in the training, because they are guided from the beginning of making Instagram to uploading their products.

Abstract

The background behind this community service is caused of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic which has mad face-to-face lessons in schools become online learning and places learning Al-Qur’an are recently closed. This caused the children in scavenger stalls, West Jakarta to lose their places to learn especially in learning AL-Qur’an. So MAKAKO (Mengaji Kala Korona) present to be a place where children can learn Al-Qur’an and increase self-awareness with classical guidance programs. The program is carried out with an online system, using Voice Call and Video Calls as the medium The results of the activity are the children will show on paper and then they will send photos and presentation videos. The MAKAKO program has succeeded in being place for children to continue learning Al-Qur’an and increase self-awareness based on three-component references; Emotional Self -Awareness, Accurate Self-Awareness, and Self-Confident.

Abstract

CREATING LEARNING MEDIA BASED ON SMARTPHONE USING QUIZLET, QUIZIZZ, AND ECLIPSECROSSWORD SOFTWARE. Most secondary school teachers still maintain conventional learning models, such as STAD, Role Playing, Two Stay Two Stray, Numbered Head Together that have minimal adoption of technology into the classrooms. Consequently, collaboration as one of the must-haves 21st century learners’ skills hard to be fulfilled. This paper presents best practices about mobile learning training which continues with its practice in the classroom. In-house training and assignment, Quizlet, Quizizz and EclipseCrossword used to create flash cards, digital quizzes and crossword. The training results show the high level of enthusiasm and motivation of participants in creating and preparing mobile-based learning. The results of the assignments and the performance of the training practiced in the classes prove the increasing engagement of students in learning and trying new experiences.

Abstract

ASSERTIVE COMMUNICATION TRAINING TO IMPROVE DRUGS PREVENTION KNOWLEDGE IN FIRST HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS OF YWKA II EAST JAKARTA. The high number of drug abuse among students in DKI Jakarta is a big task for Guidance and Counseling Teachers to carry out preventive and curative efforts. The solution offered is to organize an assertive communication training program to increase drug prevention knowledge in students. This research is an experimental study to see the effectiveness of this program carried out at YWKA II East Jakarta junior high school. This study found that the implementation of an assertive communication training program was proven to increase students' knowledge of drug prevention. Based on these results, it is recommended for the government and school leaders to conduct an assertive communication training program to prevent drug abuse in students as a preventive effort that needs to be done early on, especially for junior high school students entering their early teens.
