Abstract

This research based on menial result learning in the subject of elements of the local environmental map caused by the optimalize media used is less. The subjects of this research was 48 students of fourth grade Rancaputat Elementary School. The purpose of this research was to increasing result learning and reading map skills. The method research was used the classrom action research with the spiral design by Kemmis and Taggart, the steps were planning, immplementation, observation, and reflection. The immplementationsteps used up to three cycles. Result learning improved, the first cycles (41,67%), the second cycles (56,25%), the third cycles (89,58%) and reading map skills up to the third cycles reached (89,58%). The conclusion was the magical map media of Majalengka increased the result learning and reading map skills of reading environtment map components.

Abstract

Thisresearch was conducted in third grade student of Kebonbuah elementary school. This research used classroom action research as the method. The purpose of this study is to know the description of planning, implementation, and improvement of student learning outcomes in poetry reading skills by applying cooperative script method with audio media. The initial problems experienced by students were having difficulty in reading poetry with pronunciation, intonation and proper expression. Efforts are made to improve students' ability in reading poetry, researchers will apply cooperative script method that is packaged in the form of performing and correcting games with audio media. In cycle I obtained result of 56,67% studentss complete, cycle II equal to 76,67% and at cycle III 93,33% students finish in learning poetry reading with average value 90,14. So, cooperative script method with audio media can improve students' skills in reading poetry.

Abstract

This research is held because of the students’low ability in mathematical problem-solving ability and motivation study for elementary school. The purposes of this study was to find out the ability of the matematical problem solving and the students learning motivation in elementary school. One of the alternative learning in giving positive influence to problem solving ability and student learning motivation was using investigative approach. This research was a quasi experimental that used non-equivalent control group design. The population in this study was the fourth grade of elementary school located in the Harjamukti Cirebon. The sample in this research was the fourth grade students of SDN Larangan 2 as the experimental class and SDN Galunggung as the control class. For the Instruments, the writer gave problem-solving test, student learning motivation questionnaire, teacher performance observation guideline, student activity observation guidance and student response card. The results of the research in using various statistical tests indicated that the investigation approach had a positive effect on the ability of mathematical problem solving and student learning motivation. The investigative approach had better positive effect than the conventional approach to mathematical problem solving and student learning motivation. There was a positive response in learning that used an investigative approach as well.

Abstract

Based on early research conducted in students class IV SDN Sindang I about matter diversity nations and local culture. The study students not based expected, because in a learning still centered on teacher and media learning used less attractive so students most still passive. Hence, diterapkanlah a model learning cooperative type investigation. Media potraits cultures to improve learning learning outcomes students. Methods used is research the act of a class. Preliminary data study results students or researchers with 27% students are declared be completed while 73% expressed has not been solved, on the much as 54% expressed had been completed while 46% expressed have not been solved, on the  89% of those who did not had been completed while 11% expressed have not been dolved, and in the many 100% of those who did not had been completed. Based it the application of learning model cooperative type group investigation berbantuan media potrait culture have improve learning outcomes students.

Abstract

This research is held base on a thought that mathematical representation ability and self confidente can be improved by a good learning. There is one learning methode that suitable for mathematical representation ability and self confident improvement is RME approach.  This research is quasi experiment research that used nonequivalent control group design. The sample in this research is 5th grade student at SDN Cimalaka 1 as the experiment class and SDN Palasah as the control class. Instrument that used in this research is test for the result of learning, behavior scale, guidelines of teacher performance observation, and guidelines of student activity observation . This research has result with signification rate = 0,05 (5%) show that RME approach can improve mathematical representation ability and self confident. RME approach is better significantly then conventional approach  for  improving  mathematical representation ability and self confident of the students. There is positif relation between mathematical representation ability and self confident.

Abstract

This study is an effort in improving the art music appreciation of 5th grader students on the subjects of art, culture and media skills through the application of angklung. Research conducted on this occasion is a class action that was conducted in two cycles. The subjects were all students of 5th grader SDN Inklusif Sariwangi Cijambe Subang totaling 44 students. Source of data derived from students, teachers, peers, and researchers. Data collection technique used observation, documentation, and tests. The validity of the data using expert opinion. Analysis of the data used by the analysis of qualitative and quantitative analysis. Obtaining data from this study are very useful to improve the competence of teachers in developing the skills to play angklung as a medium of art music appreciation students in Kabupaten Subang. The results showed that through the application of media angklung music can enhance art appreciation 5th grader students on the subjects of art, culture and skills of the first cycle and the second cycle.

Abstract

The contextual approach is an approach that links the material taught to the real life situations of the student, with that matter the students can make the connection between the knowledge who he has with the student's daily life. Based on visual-spatial intelligence, in learning process,teacher more choose playing a color. Color games in learning make students not feel bored. The base of visual-spatial intelligence is applied in the contextual component of modeling and inquiry through the learning community. The purpose of this research is to know the influence of visual-spatial based visual contextual approach towards students' mathematical understanding on simple space building materials and their webs. This research was conducted at elementary school in Gegesik, SDN 2 Panunggul with SDN 2 Kedungdalem. Sampling is done using purposive sampling. The result of calculation from data processing obtained by value of correlation coefficient (R) 0,023 = 2,3%

Abstract

Based on the observations on the students of grade V of SDN Sukajadi II about listening to respond to stories about the events of students are still experiencing difficulties. With this problem, classroom action research (PTK) is done by using Kemmis and Taggart research by applying NHT method with audio media. In the study there are several assessment instruments, planning and implementation of teacher performance, student activities and student learning outcomes. Planning is structured according to the problems found in the previous data. Implementation of learning is made with three stages of the initial activity, the core and the end of the kingdom. Student learning outcomes have not reached the specified target, but in each cycle has increased. In the first cycle only 60% of the students completed, the third cycle increased more to 75% and the third cycle has increased to 100%.

Abstract

The students' science process skills are the problems studied in this research. The facts encountered in the field are not all teachers can develop students' science process skills and apply meaningful learning to students. One of the strategies that can be used by teachers in overcoming the problem is to apply inquiry learning model in learning. Through inquiry learning, student learning process will be more meaningful. Through inquiry, students will also be trained in their science process skills. The method used in this research is classroom action research, through the method is expected to improve students' science process skills. The research was conducted in three cycles, the result of the improvement of students science process skill in the first cycle reached 74%, the second cycle was 76%, 100% cycle III. Therefore, it can be concluded that improving the skills of science process students of grade V SDN Pasanggrahan 2 Sumedang on the material properties of light through inquiry learning is said to succeed.
