Abstract

This research aims to know the application of role playing model can enhance cooperation and student learning outcomes in Social Science subjects in class V D Tegalkalong SDN.  The research method used i.e., class Act (PTK). Subjects in the study are grade V D SDN Tegalkalong that add up to 29 students. This research was carried out in three cycles. The increased cooperation of the students characterized by an increase in the percentage of each aspect of the cooperation of pre stage action to cycle 3, cycle 1 as much as 54%, 71% of the number of cycle 2 and cycle 3, reaches 100%. Improved student learning outcomes are characterized by an increase in the percentage of each aspect of the results of the study of the stages of the pre an action until the cycle 3, cycle 1 reaches 78%, reaching 83% of cycle 2 and cycle 3, reaching 100%. So that corrective actions were stopped on 3rd cycle due to the already very reasonably meet the expected targets on this research.

Abstract

Kualitas pendidikan dituntut untuk selalu lebih baik seiring dengan perubahan dunia. Guru sebagai peran utama dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar diharapkan dapat menggunakan media yang dapat di terima untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa. Media pembelajaran berbasis visual akan membantu anak untuk meningkatkan minat belajar mereka. Penggunaan media secara kreatif akan memungkinkan audien (siswa) untuk belajar lebih baik dan dapat meningkatkan performa mereka sesuai dengan tujuan yang ingin dicapai.

Abstract

This research purpose to compare problem-based learning approach using make-a match and conventional approach in improving students’ mathematical connection ability and mathematical disposition, and how is relation between mathematical connection ability and mathematical disposition. Quasi experimental method with the nonequivalent control group design was used in this research. All fifth graders of elementary school in Tanjungsari sub-district was population in this research, while the sample was taken from SD Negeri Tanjungsari 1, class V-A as the control class, and class V-B as the experimental class. The non-test and test instrument was used in this research. Learning with problem-based learning approach using make-a match is significantly better than conventional learning in improving mathematical connection ability and mathematical disposition of student. There is a positive relationship between mathematical connection ability and mathematical disposition of students.

Abstract

The result used the PTK method and the research design refers to the Kemmis and Taggart models which consist of planning, action, observation and reflection. This research is motivated by the ability of students who are still low when learning on reading comprehension skills. When observing in class IV of Panyingkiran 1 Elementary School, seen from the learning outcomes there were still many who had not yet reached the KKM, which was 72. To improve the condition, the color-assisted REAP method was applied. First cycle, students who completed 12 or 52%, 11 or 48% of students didn’t complete. Cycle II, students who completed as many as 17 or 74%, which has not been completed as many as 6 or 26%. Cycle III, 87% or 20 students completed, while 13% or 3 students weren’t completed. Thus, it is evident that the application of color-assisted REAP methods can improve the learning outcomes of students' reading comprehension skills.

Abstract

This research was conducted using a visual, auditory, kinesthetic (VAK) model. The problem is that students have difficulty reading poetry with proper pronunciation, intonation and expression. The reason for this problem is that the teacher considers reading poetry difficult and has never been taught. For this reason, the efforts made by researchers are applying visual, auditory, and kinesthetic models. This model facilitates the three learning styles that students have. The method used in this study is class action research and consists of three cycle actions. Data from the research shows that poetry reading skills increase each cycle. In the first cycle results obtained at 50% of students completed, in the second cycle 65% of students completed and in the third cycle 90% of students declared complete. Thus, the visual, auditory, and kinesthetic models can improve students' poetry reading skills.

Abstract

The learning cycle model of 7E and 5E is learning that explores student’s abilities to their learning environment, which one become of the factors that influence student creativity. Creativity of each student is different but creativity. The method in this research is non-equivalent control group design. The population of this study was all elementary school students in the fifth grade in Suranenggala sub-district using purposive sampling technique which the study sample is class V of SDN 1 Purwawinangun class VA and VB. Research using test and non-test instruments. The test instrument consisted of student activity tests, and for non-tests are student activity, planning observation and teacher performance, field notes, teacher and student interviews. The results of the research that the learning cycle models 7E and 5E have a positive and significant influence on students creativity in the material changes in objects.

Abstract

Critical thinking can encourage students to solve problems in a collaborative way or work with peers. The purpose of the study was to determine the improvement of critical thinking and collaboration students by using the Problem Based Learning modelin flood material. This study uses a quasi-experimental method and nonequivalent control group design research design using critical thinking instruments and collaborative questionnaires. The population of the study was all students in class V of Cimalaka Subdistrict with a sample of class V students of SDN Cilimbangan experimental class and fifth grade students of SDN Citimun II control class. The conclusions of this study: 1) Science learning using the Problem Based Learning model can significantly improve students critical thinking skills, 2) Science learning using the Problem Based Learning model is better at improving students critical thinking skills than using expository learning. 3) Science learning using the Problem Based Learning model can improve students collaborative abilities compared to expository learning.

Abstract

This research was based on the idea that the ability of mathematical representation and student learning independence was something that could be developed through good learning. One of the learning that was suitable to improve the ability of mathematical representation and student learning independence by using strategy of REACT. This research was a quasi-experimental research using  non equivalent control group design. The sample in this research were grade VB as experiment class and grade VA as control class. The instruments in this research include the test result of learning ability of mathematical representation, the scale of learning independence attitude, observation guidelines, student journal and field notes. The results of result with significance level = 0.05 (5%) showed that strategy of REACT can improve the ability of mathematical representation and student learning independenc. Strategy of REACT is also better than conventiona learning approach in improving mathematical representation and learning independence.

Abstract

Pendidikan seni tari adalah salah satu mata pelajaran yang diajarkan di sekolah dasar. Dalam mengajarkan gerak tari di sekolah dasar guru memiliki kesulitan dalam mencari strategi yang tepat, peneliti berkeinginan untuk mengetahui strategi apa saja yang dapat digunakan untuk menghafal gerak tari sehingga dapat membantu guru dalam menemukan strategi yang tepat. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data yang dikumpulkan di analisis dengan tiga cara yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan menggunakan ketukan/hitungan disetiap gerakan dapat membantu siswa menghafal gerak tari dengan mudah. Pembelajaran yang dilakukan dengan mencontohkan gerakan dan menghitung setiap ketukan, sehingga memudahkan siswa lebih cepat hafal dan lebih peka terhadap gerakan, ditambah dengan menggunakan iringan musik yang sesuai dengan tempo gerakan. Strategi yang digunakan guru dalam mengajarkan gerakan tari yaitu dengan mencontohkannya secara langsung sehingga siswa dapat langsung memperagakannya.

Abstract

The ability of science literacy is essential for every student to have, and is better applied since elementary school. Through learning using the Learning Cycle 7E model is a great way to improve science literacy skills, because in teacher learning activities facilitates students to find concepts independently. The purpose of this research is to identify differences in the influence of the model's Learning Cycle 7E and conventional to the ability of students ' science literacy in water-cycle materials. This research method is quasi experimental with the design of Nonequivalent control group design. The population of this research was all elementary school students in Arcamanik sub-district with research samples of SDN 141 Lokajaya V-B class as experimental class and V-A class as the control class. The instruments used in the research are science literacy skills tests, teacher performance observation sheets and student activities, polls, and interviews. As for the conclusion derived from this study, there is a significant difference in the skills of science literacy of students between learning using Learning Cycle 7E models and conventional learning.
