Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of company size, profitability, and Leverage ratio on Islamic Social Reporting (ISR) in Islamic banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2019 to 2023. The type of data in this research is secondary data in the form of time series. The analytical method used in this research is multiple regression analysis, T-test, F-test and coefficient of determination. The data sources in this research are financial reports, annual reports and sustainability reports of sharia banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) for 2019-2023. From the results of the T-test analysis, it was found that company size, profitability had a significant positive influence, while leverage had no significant influence. From the results of the simultaneous analysis, it was obtained that Fcount (8.849) > Ftable (3.294) with a significance degree of 0.000 > 0.05. This means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. The conclusion is that there is a significant influence between company size, profitability and leverage together (simultaneously) on ISR disclosure. This shows that when these three variables are analyzed together, they do make a significant contribution to corporate social responsibility disclosure in ISR reports.

Abstract

The Islamic banking industry in Indonesia has experienced rapid growth in recent years, in line with the increasing demand for Sharia-based financial services. However, the profitability of Sharia Foreign Exchange Banks still faces complex challenges, both from internal factors and external factors. A deep understanding of the influence of these factors is essential to improve the financial performance of Islamic banks. quantitative research, using quarterly financial data from 2016-2023 and multiple regression analysis. The results of this study show that Non-Performing Financing (NPF) and Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) have a significant influence on Bank Muamalat's Return on Assets (ROA). Good NPF management contributes to increased profitability, while the increase in FDR reflects the efficiency of fund distribution which also improves the bank's financial performance. In contrast, the inflation variable and BI Rate did not show a significant influence on ROA. This can be explained by the difference in the operational mechanism of Islamic banks that do not use the interest system so the impact of changes in interest rates and inflation on profitability is more limited.

Abstract

Poverty in Aceh Province is a multidimensional problem that is influenced by education, health, and labor force participation. This study aims to analyze the effect of average years of schooling, life expectancy, and labor force participation rate on poverty, either directly or through economic growth as a mediating variable. The data used is secondary data from 2011-2023 which is analyzed using path analysis techniques. The results show that average years of schooling have a significant negative effect on poverty, both directly and indirectly through economic growth. In contrast, life expectancy and labor force participation rate do not show a significant effect on economic growth and poverty. Economic growth, although fluctuating, does not significantly affect the poverty rate in Aceh Province. These findings emphasize the importance of improving education as a key poverty alleviation strategy and the need for formal sector development to maximize labor force participation.

Abstract

This study explores how e-wallets promote financial inclusion in Besitang, a non-metropolitan Indonesian city. We investigate the influence of features, promotions, and brand image on e-wallet purchasing decisions. A quantitative survey targeting 100 smartphone-owning workers and students was conducted. Analysis revealed that all three factors (features, promotions, and brand image) have a significant positive impact on e-wallet usage (p < 0.05). Together, they explain 80.7% of the variation in purchasing decisions, highlighting their crucial role in e-wallet adoption. These findings emphasize the importance of e-wallet providers implementing innovative features, attractive promotions, and a strong brand image to drive financial inclusion in non-metropolitan areas. The study offers valuable insights for e-wallet companies and opens avenues for further research on e-wallet adoption drivers.

Abstract

This study investigates the role of entrepreneurial orientation as a mediating variable in the relationship between artificial intelligence (AI) adoption and business sustainability in Sharia-based Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia, The degree of digital maturity moderates the influence of AI on firm sustainability.. Adopting a quantitative approach using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), data were collected from 212 Sharia MSMEs that have integrated digital-based fintech or AI systems into their operations. The findings indicate that AI adoption significantly improves OK and business sustainability, while OK partially mediates this relationship. Furthermore, TD positively moderates the effect of AI adoption on sustainability outcomes. These results confirm that integrating behavioral and digital dimensions into a maqashid-oriented entrepreneurship framework strengthens ethical and sustainable business practices. Theoretically, this study contributes by expanding the Resource-Based View (RBV) and behavioral entrepreneurship theory into the Islamic context. Practical implications are presented for policymakers, Islamic financial institutions, and MSME actors to encourage AI adoption that is in line with Islamic ethics and maqashid al-shariah principles.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors influencing the intention to adopt Sharia fintech and its impact on financial inclusion among MSME actors in Timika, Papua. This study employs a quantitative approach using the Structural Equation Modelling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method and involves 37 respondents from MSMEs. The independent variables comprise Digital Infrastructure and Capacity Access, Financial Literacy, Islamic Knowledge, and Regulatory and Ecosystem Support. In contrast, the dependent variables include the adoption intention for Islamic Fintech and Financial Inclusion through Islamic Fintech. The study found that Regulatory and Ecosystem Support had a positive and significant effect on Adoption Intention, whereas Digital Infrastructure and Financial Literacy did not have a significant effect. In addition, Adoption Intention has a significant effect on Financial Inclusion and mediates the relationship between regulatory support and Financial Inclusion. These findings confirm that the success of sharia fintech adoption in 3T regions, such as Timika, is determined more by regulatory clarity, system security, and ecosystem support than technical factors. This research contributes to the understanding of the adoption of Sharia fintech in developing regions and offers policy recommendations to strengthen Islamic financial literacy and an inclusive digital ecosystem.

Abstract

ABSTRACT - The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of price, knowledge, and the Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) phenomenon on consumer purchasing interest in hydroponic melons in Gemolong. The background of this study is based on the increasing public awareness of health, environmental, and sustainable lifestyle issues that have driven the demand for modern agricultural products such as hydroponics. This study uses a quantitative approach with primary data obtained through distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents who bought hydroponic melons. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression methods with the help of SPSS version 25 software . The results of the study show that the regression model has an R² value of 0.281 , which means that the price, knowledge, and FOMO variables are able to explain 28.1% of the variation in consumer purchasing interest , while the rest is influenced by other factors outside the model. Simultaneously, the three independent variables have a positive and significant effect on purchasing interest ( F count = 12.481; Sig = 0.000 <0.05 ). However, partially, only the price variable has a positive and significant effect on purchasing interest (t count = 2.258; Sig = 0.026 <0.05 ), while knowledge (Sig = 0.063) and FOMO (Sig = 0.564) have a positive but insignificant effect. These findings indicate that price is the dominant factor influencing consumer purchasing interest in hydroponic melons in Gemolong, while knowledge and FOMO are not yet the primary drivers of purchasing decisions. This research offers practical implications for hydroponic agribusinesses to establish competitive pricing strategies and increase public awareness of the benefits and sustainability of hydroponic products. Abstract

This study explores the adoption and integration of digital platforms, such as e-commerce, social media, and financial technology, in MSME operations. It aims to identify managerial practices in the digital transformation process, examine MSME actors’ perceptions of the impact on business efficiency, market performance, and customer engagement, and determine the factors influencing digital platform effectiveness. Using a qualitative case study approach, the research focused on five MSMEs from various sectors, including culinary, retail, manufacturing, creative industries, and fashion. Data was collected through semi-structured interviews and analyzed with the N-Vivo 12 application. Findings indicate that digital platforms improve access to data from suppliers and customers, but challenges like delays and technical issues persist. The integration of digital systems with business partners offers significant benefits, although synchronization issues remain a barrier. Real-time data exchange enhances operational efficiency, yet technical challenges and varying technological skills among partners need attention. Information security, with encryption and two-factor authentication, is also a priority. The study suggests improvements in training and infrastructure to support MSMEs in adopting digital technologies, contributing to the understanding of digital platforms' impact on MSME growth and operations.
