Abstract

This study analyzes the factors that influence visitors' willingness to pay for efforts to preserve the Kuala Langsa Mangrove Forest and analyze the magnitude of the value of visitors' willingness to pay for efforts to preserve Kuala Langsa Mangrove Forest tourism. This research is quantitative research. The type of data used in this research is primary data. There is a relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable in multiple regression so that a formula is obtained Y = -1.238 + 0,330X1 + 0,219X2 + 0,073X3+ 0.214X4+ e then it is known that the determination value is R2 = 0.900. This means that 90% of willingness to pay can be explained by the independent variables, namely education level, income, frequency of visits and environmental knowledge simultaneously. The findings of this research can support the development of more effective environmental education programs to increase public awareness. In an economic context, this information can be the basis for optimizing income from Mangrove Forest tourism by adjusting facilities and activities to the preferences and financial capabilities of visitors who have a high Willingness to Pay Analysis.

Abstract

Zakat serves as a crucial instrument for wealth redistribution aimed at reducing social inequality, particularly amidst the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. The implementation of zakat is imperative to stimulate significant contributions to both productive and consumptive zakat distributions. This research endeavors to delineate and chart the proportional distribution of productive and consumptive zakat to super-micro business mustahiks during the COVID-19 pandemic. Employing a qualitative approach involving literature review and in-depth interviews, this study aims to achieve a comprehensive understanding and mapping of mustahik. The study revealed that consumptive zakat is earmarked for mustahiks falling within the faqir category among the eight asnaf. Conversely, productive zakat is allocated to mustahiks classified as poor within the eight asnaf, prioritizing those who already possess a business, demonstrate expertise in specific fields, and hold a market share. The implication of this research underscores that by meticulously mapping and allocating zakat according to the needs and categories of mustahik, Islamic Social Finance (ISF) institutions can provide suitable assistance aligned with the economic conditions of the recipients. To ensure equitable and targeted distribution of productive and consumptive zakat, it is imperative to bolster public comprehension of zakat, conduct outreach regarding the distribution process, and develop an efficient mapping system.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the local cultural values behind income accounting practices by ilabulo sellers. This study uses an Islamic paradigm with an Islamic ethnomethodological approach. The results of the study show that ilabulo sellers use their income to finance personal needs, such as making this income as capital to return to selling ilabulo, finance household needs, and in addition to their children's snacks. Furthermore, the ilabulo sellers use their income to share among themselves, such as with scavengers. The income accounting practice is driven by compassion (motoliango). In the culture of the Gorontalo people, there is lumadu (expression) “delo tombowata lo tabo wau labiya" which means like a mixture of fat and sago. This expression contains the meaning of a sakinah household life. "Diila o'onto, bo wolu-woluwo" means invisible, but there. This phrase teaches that in life, do not just chase what is visible but also look for something that is not visible but exists. The following research recommendation is to examine accounting practices by sellers of traditional food in the form of binthe biluhuta. The implication of this research is to present accounting practices by Ilabulo sellers based on local cultural values.

The data analysis used is a reliability test, validity test, basic assumption test (normality test, descriptive analysis test, and linearity test). Then for hypothesis tests using (t test, F test, and R2 determination coefficient test) and multiple tests. For data management, it uses the SPSS 25 application in 2023. Use of BI Fast application on BSI Mobile. Based on the data processing, it was concluded that there is an influence of financial literacy on transactions using BI Fast BSI Mobile services, there is no effect of convenience on transactions using BI Fast BSI Mobile services, and there is no influence of trust on transactions using BI Fast BSI Mobile services. Abstract

This research aims to find out how Zakat on Shares is from an Islamic Economic Perspective? And what is the potential for Zakat on shares as a source of income for the community? The method used is a qualitative descriptive approach. The results obtained are that in a review of Islamic economics, share zakat is one mechanism for implementing the principle of a more equitable distribution of wealth in society, while supporting sustainable economic development. Exploration of share zakat in Islamic economics is a relevant and important concept in the development of an economic system based on Islamic principles. The potential for share zakat in Indonesia has increased, but this increase is not commensurate with the number of investors and the population of Indonesia. One of the causes is the low level of understanding of share zakat among investors, so this education is a necessity. Share Zakat has great potential for the people. The more people who invest in sharia shares, the greater the potential for collecting zakat on shares, which includes providing a wider selection of sharia shares, supporting companies that comply with sharia principles, and holding educational programs for Muslims about investing in accordance with sharia.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the empirical impact of the Islamic banking sector, inflation rate, and currency exchange rate on the economic growth of Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Malaysia, Qatar, Bahrain, and Bangladesh from 2014 to 2022. For the purpose of further investigation, a total of 717 observations were selected according to certain criteria. The sample consisted of 24 banks from seven countries that have the highest aggregate assets on a global scale. Data is collected quarterly. This research approach is quantitative research using the Vector Error Correction Model as an analysis technique. Long-term analysis is tested using cointegration analysis. Impulse response function (IRF) and variance decomposition (VD) techniques were used in this study to show how each macroeconomic variable shock affects the short-term dynamic path of all system variables. The results of the study found that the shock of the majority of research variables was responded positively by GDP except for inflation which in the initial period of the shock was responded negatively by GDP. The results of the Variance Decomposition GDP analysis can be explained that in the initial period GDP variance was formed sequentially from the exchange rate variance, inflation, Total Assets of Islamic Banks, Total Assets of Islamic Banks, and the contribution of Islamic bank assets continued to increase during the observation period.
