Abstract

The house is the bedrock of any society. Risky domestic therefore results in risky society. Divorce in marriages and the consequent impact, a part of which might be anger, inferiority complex, mistrust, stigmatization, discrimination, emotional overload, loneliness, guilt, depression and so forth, are most of the maximum urgent problems going through human society nowadays. However, as painful as this reality is, this situation absolute confidence requires the attention of professional counsellors. This paper therefore evaluations the psycho-social demanding situations confronting divorcees and the counselling approach for handling it. In so doing, efforts are geared closer to highlighting the idea of reality remedy and its applications in coping with the psycho-social challenges confronting divorcees in Nigeria.

Abstract

The study's primary purpose was to investigate servant leadership practices among secondary schools’ teachers in East Darfur state Sudan. The sample consists of 650 teachers and ten principals. Teachers were selected using simple random sampling; the school principals were selected using purposive sampling. The questionnaire was distributed to 284 teachers, and the interview was administered to 8 principals, 284 teachers, and eight principals who filled in the questionnaire and returned them. Descriptive statistics, one-sample t-test, and ANOVA test were employed in this study using SPSS to analyze the quantitative data. The qualitative data were analyzed utilizing the thematic analysis method and interview. The study’s main findings indicated that there is statistical significance since it is P <0.5. There is a lower level of servant leadership practices in Eldaien secondary schools. One-Way ANOVA showed that were statistically significant differences between groups about the practices of the variables. In conclusion, the practice of servant leadership requires continuous practices to raise the level of school principals. The paper proposed research recommendations and significant suggestions. Since this study was delimited only to education in Eldaien within a single locality, in East Darfur State, the findings lack comprehensive and generalizability of the area. As a result, researchers are recommended to undertake similar research secondary schools at the national level and develop all-embracing and superior findings.

Abstract

DIMENSIONS OF PI'IL PESENGGIRI ULUN LAMPUNG'S IDENTITY IN INDIGENOUS COUNSELING DEVELOPMENT: A SYSTEMATIC REVIEW. This research was conducted to find out and understand the meaning of pi'il pesenggiri as one of the dimensions of Lampung's ulun identity in the development of indigenous counseling. The method used is a systematic review of a number of articles about pi'il pesenggiri in reputable journals. A search on journal databases such as DOAJ, microsoft academic, and researchgate found 234 journals with the keyword pi'il pesenggiri. Furthermore, the journals were collected for a screening process and their eligibility according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria determined by the researcher. Based on the screening process, 5 articles were obtained which were the subject of research studies. The results showed that pi'il pesenggiri is the philosophy of life of ulun Lampung which refers to self-esteem and honor. Includes aspects of 1) Bejuluk Adek, 2) Nemui Nyimah, 3) Nengah Nyappur, and 4) Sakai Sambaiyan. The value of pi'il pesenggiri can be a potential in the development of customary extension. These values ​​can be the basis for increasing the multicultural competence of counselors in terms of understanding and knowledge of local wisdom. This is based on the content possessed by pi'il pesenggiri for ulun Lampung in the form of divine values ​​(holiness), religious values, spiritual values, moral values, intellectual values, individual values, social values, and material values. These values ​​can be re-condensed into divine values, human values, and life values.

Abstract

This article aims to 1) examine youth career resilience as an important competency to face the year 2045; 2) assess the urgency of developing career resilience through guidance and counseling as an effort to prepare adolescents to become the golden generation of 2045. From the results of the study, it is known that 1) the golden generation of 2045 who has high career resilience will be able to face a borderless society, global urbanization, and international trade; 2) Through guidance and counseling services, career resilience can be developed from the age of adolescent development, with focus on developing career resilience attributes.

Abstract

THE CORRELATION BETWEEN PEER CONFORMITY WITH FURTHER STUDY DECISION MAKING OF JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL. This research was holded based on the phenomenon of Junior High School students who were less independent in further study decision making, so that they adapted based on peer conformity. The research aims to find out the relatonship between peer conformity with further study decision making in Junior High School students. This type of research is ex post facto quantitative with a correlational design. The samples of this research totaled 233 students from five schools with cluster sampling and proportional random sampling techniques. The instruments is used consisted of further study decision making scale, and peer conformity scale. Based on the result analysis, it showed that level further study decision making is high, level peer conformity is medium, and there is finded a negative and significant relationship between peer conformity and further study decision making (r=-0,364, p=0,000 < 0,05).

Abstract

CORRELATION BETWEEN PRINCIPAL LEADERSHIP AND ACADEMIC SUPERVISION ON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TEACHER PERFORMANCE IN LEBAKGEDONG DISTRICT, LEBAK REGENCY. The low performance is one of the key factors affecting student success. Teachers are expected to meet and materialize stakeholders’ hopes and needs in helping students achieving the learning goals. Literatures have shown that teacher’s performance is also affected by many factors, among others are the leaderships of the school principal and the academic supervision offered by the school principal. This paper reports the findings of a study that was intended to see the correlation between school principal leaderships and academic supervision with teacher performance. The study is quantitative research from 64 teachers sample in an Elementary School in Lebakgedong, Lebak Regency. Data was collected through Likert-scale questionnaires and was analyzed using Chi square test. The result show that both the principal leadership (X1) and academic supervision (X2) have positive significant relationships with teacher performance (Y), partially and simultaneously.
