Abstract

Prolanis merupakan program dari PT. Askes (Persero) dalam upaya penanganan penyakit kronis pada pasien DM tipe 2. Jumlah pasien DM yang tergabung di Prolanis setiap tahunnya terus bertambah akan tetapi tidak disertai dengan kontinuitas kunjungan. Berdasarkan data jumlah peserta prolanis DM tipe 2 di Puskesmas Kecamatan Pulogadung yang sudah mengikuti prolanis minimal 6 bulan sejumlah 284 pasien. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan perbedaan outcome klinik pasien prolanis dibanding pasien non prolanis dan mendapatkan hubungan antara kepatuhan dengan outcome klinik. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross sectional dengan alur penelitian retrospektif sebelum dan sesudah pasien bergabung dengan prolanis. Data diperoleh dari rekam medik dan data kunjungan pasien dengan menggunakan teknik total sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan outcome klinik pasien DM tipe 2 yang mengikuti prolanis dengan pasien DM tipe 2 yang tidak mengikuti prolanis (p<0,05). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan antara tingkat kepatuhan kunjungan dengan outcome klinik pasien prolanis dan non prolanis (p<0.05).

Abstract

Nitrit merupakan bahan pengawet yang banyak digunakan pada produk olahan daging seperti burger, kornet, dan daging asap. Konsumsi nitrit yang berlebih dapat menyebabkan keracunan dan bersifat karsinogenik sehingga perlu dilakukan penelitian untuk mengidentifikasi kandungan nitrit dalam beberapa produk olahan daging yang beredar di Surakarta. Sampel yang digunakan adalah 15 produk olahan daging burger, kornet, dan asap yang beredar di Kota Surakarta. Identifikasi senyawa nitrit dilakukan dengan metode griess, sedangkan penetapan kadar dilakukan dengan menggunakan spektrofotometer UV-Vis. Identifikasi dengan metode griess menghasilkan warna merah keunguan pada sampel daging sapi burger yang mengandung nitrit. Sampel dengan hasil positif diukur absorbansinya menggunakan spektrofotometer UV-Vis pada panjang gelombang 530,50 nm dengan operating time selama 15 menit. Hasil identifikasi nitrit dengan metode griess menunjukkan bahwa semua sampel produk olahan daging positif mengandung nitrit. Kadar nitrit terendah terdapat dalam sampel daging kornet yaitu sebesar 2,46 + 0,08 mg/kg, sedangkan kadar nitrit tertinggi terdapat pada sampel daging burger yaitu sebesar 35,90 + 1,36 mg/kg. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa kadar nitrit untuk semua sampel memenuhi persyaratan yang ditetapkan, kecuali satu sampel daging burger melebihi batas maksimal yang ditetapkan.

Abstract

Asetilkolin adalah neurotransmitter yang berperan dalam pengaturan fungsi kognitif terutama pembentukan memori baru. Hidrolisis berlebihan asetilkolin oleh enzim asetilkolinesterase dapat menyebabkan gangguan pada pembentukan memori. Mengkudu merupakan tanaman yang banyak terdapat di Indonesia dan telah teruji memiliki kemampuan penghambatan enzim asetilkolinesterase. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan penghambatan aktivtas enzim acetylcholinesterase fraksi-fraksi dari ekstrak etanol buah mengkudu dan identifikasi senyawa yang terkandung dalam fraksi aktif dari ekstrak etanol buah mengkudu melalui analisis liquid chromathography-mass spectrometry. Pemisahan senyawa dilakukan melalui dua tahap yaitu ekstraksi menggunakan metode maserasi dan fraksinasi menggunakan kromatografi cair vakum. Pengujian penghambatan enzim asetilkolinesterase dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Ellman (kolorimetri) pada konsentrasi 1000, 500, 250, 125 µg/mL. Identifikasi senyawa kimia fraksi teraktif dilakukan dengan analisis liquid chromathography-mass spectrometry. Nilai IC50 ekstrak etanol, fraksi 1, fraksi 2 dan fraksi 3 buah mengkudu secara berturut-turut sebesar 4882,29, 947,99, 1726,99, 18673,82 µg/mL. Fraksi teraktif diduga mengandung asam linolenat, asam linoleat, pinoresinol, metil linoleat dan metil oleat.

Abstract

Minuman jeli merupakan produk pangan olahan yang memiliki konsistensi gel yang dapat diminum. Peneltian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh kadar gula terhadap karakterisasi minuman jeli kombinasi tepung porang dan susu probiotik. Kadar gula yang ditambahkan 4 %, 8 % dan 12 % dan diuji karakteristik fisik yang meliputi analisis kadar air, pH, sineresis, tekstur, protein, gula total, uji hedonik aroma dan rasa, uji ALT (Angka Lempeng Total). Analisis data menggunakan Anova dan LSD (Least Significance Different).Hasil penelitian menunjukkan konsentrasi gula berpengaruh nyata terhadap karakteristik minuman jelly dan konsentrasi 12 % dapat dipersepsi baik oleh panelis dari semua pengujian dengan hasil uji ALT sebesar 1,9 x 102 CFU/gram. Angka tersebut masih tergolong aman karena dibawah batas minimal SNI No. 01-3552 tahun 1994, yaitu maksimal 1x104 koloni per gram.

Abstract

Citric acid is an acid source in effervescent tablet it reacts rapidly, can increase dissolving time. In this research, extract was made into effervescent tablet. The research aimed at knowing increased concentration of citric acid as acid source can improve the physical characteristic of effervescent tablet. Pericarp mangosteen dry extracts macerated by water, and powder made by spray dryer. Dry extract was made into 5 formulas effervescent tablet with the different concentrations of citric acid, 15%, 20%, 25%, 30% and 35% as acid sources. The tablets were evaluated included organoleptic evaluation, weight uniformity, size uniformity, hardness, friability, and dissolving times. The result of dissolving time are 10,50±0,57 minutes, 4,52±1,04 minutes, 3,32±0,13 minutes, 3,13±0,14 minutes and 3,42±0,14 minutes. By one way ANOVA test dissolving time data showed differences each other 95% in signifigancies. It can be concluded that increasing of citric acid gave effect on dissolving time, and the citric acid with concentration of 35% can reduce dissolving time of the pericarp mangosteen (Garcinia mangostana L.) dry extract effervescent tablets.

Abstract

Drug interactions are directly related to factors such as polypharmacy, aging, hepatic metabolism and decreased renal function. Polypharmacy is common in drug prescriptions of chronic kidney disease patients. A study of the prescription patterns of drugs with potential interactions would be of interest to prevent drug related adverse events. The aim of this study was to identify potential drug-drug interactions among chronic kidney disease among hospitalized patients in Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital, Jakarta period October to December 2015 This study was an observational research with descriptive approach. Data were obtained retrospectively. Data was collected from patient's medical record. The sampels were hospitalized patients with chronic kidney disease in Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital, Jakarta period October to December 2015 that received at least two drugs in one prescribing pattern. The samples which fulfilled the inclusion criteria were 63 patients and found as many as 443 potential drug interactions. Drug interactions with pharmacodynamic mechanism were 235 cases (53.04%) and pharmacokinetics as much as 208 cases (46.96%). A total of 334 cases (75.39%) were drug interactions with moderate severity. drug interactions are commonly seen in the prescriptions of chronic kidney disease patients which can lead to serious adverse events if not detected early.

Abstract

Saga leaves (Abrus precatorius L.) have anti-thrush activity and contain glisirizin. Glisirizin is a compound of saponin glycosides non hemolytic, class of triterpenoid and have anti-parasitic activity. This study aims at knowing effect of increasing concentration of pectin as gelling agent on physical properties marshmallow. Saga leaves extract made in to marshmallow 4 formulas, with variations of concentrations of pectin 0.7%, 0.8%, 0.9% and 1%. The physical properties evaluations included organoleptic, uniformity of weight, uniformity of size, moisture content, and texture. The hardness test result data obtained in 859.33; 710.03; 677.13; 506.36 gf, the cohesiveness test result data 0.7375; 0.8247; 0.8780; 0.9327 gs, the springiness test result data 0.7255; 0.8142; 0.8530; 1.0236 gs. Data were analysed using one-way ANOVA followed by Tukey test. The result showed that the higher concentration of pectin will increase springiness and cohesiveness and reduce hardness of marshmallow of viscous saga leaves extract.

Abstract

Glaucoma is abnormality in the eyes of the increasing pressure (intraocular) that able to push optic nerve so that can cause nerve optic damage in the eyes. The damage to the optic nerve can cause visual field reduction, so that can cause blindness. Increased intraocular pressure caused by inhibition of aqueous humeous. The mechanism of medication for glaucoma is to reduce intraocular pressure. Kitolod leaves (Isotoma longiflora (L) C.Presl.) One of the many wild plants used to treat eyes diseases in traditional societies, one to treat glaucoma, therefore to prove activities as antiglaucoma then do research in order to determine the effect infuse of kitolod leaf to the intraocular pressure. This research uses 5 groups negative, positive, concentration 40%, concentration 50%, concentration 60%. This research use the inducer prednisolone acetate eye drops 1% and the positive comparator is pilocarpine 2% eye drops. Measurement of eyes pressure use the tonometer Schiotz The results of the research showed that concentration 60% has effects of lowering the eye pressure is comparable with pilocarpine 2% eye drop.

Abstract

Increased knowledge and compliance of type 2 DM patient should be supported by the pharmaceutical services in the form of education and homecare. The purpose of this research to determine the effect of the implementation of pharmacists services in improving the knowledge and compliance of type 2 DM patient so that blood sugar levels can be controlled properly. this research is a prospective, quasi-experimental methods nonequivalent control group design. Respondents were 108 people divided into 3 groups of intervention namely the control group, the intervention group I conducted Education twice by using booklet media, and the second intervention group was educated and homecare pharmacist respectively twice. The results showed that the average value of knowledge and compliance in the intervention group I showed an increase from 68.81 to 70.06 and 2.01 to 0.38. While in the intervention group II there was an increase from 66 to 72,34 and 3,97 to 0,14. GDPP levels before the intervention included poorly controlled categories turned to moderate control after intervention II.

Abstract

Furosemide is a diuretic having low solubility and low bioavailability thus the diuretic activity is not optimal. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of furosemide SNEDDS formation to the diuretic activity. SNEDDS was made with a mixture of 66% tween 80, 26% propilene glycol, 8% oleic acid and furosemide 40 mg/mL. A total of 20 test animals were divided into 4 groups, namely the negative control 1 (CMC 0,5% suspension), negativ control 2 (a mixture of tween 80, propilene glycol and oleic acid), furosemid suspension and SNEDDS furosemid. Tests on the diuretic activity is done by measuring the volume of urine released for 6 hours.Furosemide SNEDDS could enhance the diuretic activity of furosemide.
