Abstract

In the period of pregnancy, a woman requires drug therapy due to the disturbance suffered, whether related or unrelated to the pregnancy process. Drugs taken by pregnants  is noteworthy, because the drug is taken can affect the fetus. This study aimes to evaluate the accuracy of the indication, patient, and doses of drug use in pregnants in accordance with the guidelines used. The type of research is descriptive, data collection is do retrospectively. Sampling was done by purposive sampling in pregnants from the medical records of the Obstetric and Gynecology Department "X” Hospital Jakarta period from January to December, 2014. The results showed that meets the appropriate category indication as much as 99.30% and the category is not appropriate indication as much as  0.70%. Meets the appropriate category of patients as much as 99.30% and the category is not appropriate patients as much as 0.70%. Whereas, meet the appropriate category doses as much as 98.60% and the category is not appropriate doses of as much as 1.40%.

Abstract

ABSTRACTTheophylline is a drug used in the management of asthma. It has relatively short half-life and narrow therapeutic index with 5-20 μg/mL serum concentration. Thus, Floating tablet formulations that can increase the bioavailability of the drug. The aims of this study were to determine the effect of the excipient (HPMC K4M CR and NaHCO3) to the quality of tablets and determine the optimum formula of theophylline floating tablet. A 22 randomized factorial design was used in development of theophylline floating tablet with HPMC K4M CR (A) and NaHCO3 (B) as independent variables.The flowability of mass tablet, floating character, and dissolution profile were chosen as dependent variables.The results showed that NaHCO3 was the most important factor on increasing flowability of mass tablet. HPMC K4M CR was the dominant factor in lowering the Flag time, improving integrity of the tablet, and decreasing the release of drug. The composition of HPMC K4M CR 40.00 mg and NaHCO3 35.39 mg produced the optimum formula of theophylline floating tablet with desirability value of 0.978.

Abstract

Kitolod (Isotoma longiflora (L.) Presl.) Is a traditional medicinal plant which is efficacious as anticancer. Empirically kitolod had been used  by Indonesian people for the treatment of cancer, but this remains to be proven scientifically through research. The objective of this research was to determine the cytotoxic activity of 50% Ethanol Extract of Kitolod leaves (Isotoma longiflora (L.) Presl) at a concentration of 25 mg / mL, 50 mg / mL, 75 mg / mL, and 125 mg / mL against cervical cancer cells (Ca Ski Cell Line) in vitro assay using red natural methods.Results of Cytotoxic assay  shows that  IC50 values 50% Ethanol Extract of Kitolod leaves (Isotoma longiflora (L.) Presl) in Ca Ski Cell Line  is  55.78 ug / mL. Ethanol extract  at  concentration of 25 mg / mL, 50 mg / mL, 75 mg / mL, and 125 mg / mL have cytotoxic effecst against cervical cancer cells (Ca Ski Cell Line) and extract at a concentration of 125 ug / mL indicates the largest percentage of cell death.

Abstract

Tuna's collagen may be applied to burns at 2%. To provide convenience in use it was made in drug form gel. HPMC is used as a gelling agent because it can form a gel that is clear and netral and has a viscosity that is stable in a long periode. This study aims to determine the effect of increase in the concentration of HPMC as a gelling agent in the gel formula. at a concentration of 3%, 4%, 5%, 6%, 7%. The resulting gel is then evaluated by the organoleptic test, homogeneity test, pH test, viscosity test, centrifugation test, and freeze thaw test. Result of statistical analysis ANOVA one way to test the viscosity of the significant difference in each formula. Based on the result of this study concluded that the increased concentration of HPMC as a gelling agent can increase the viscosity of bone collagen gel tuna.

Abstract

The research about the effect of lime (Citrus aurantifolia (chrism.) Swing) to levels of triglycerides and body weight of male rats (Rattus norvegicus) wistar strain at a doses of 1.5, 3 and 4.5 ml/kg body weight has done. This study conducted on five groups consisted of norml control , negative control (-), dose of 1.5; 3 and 4 ml/kg body weight, each group consisted of 5 rats , The normal control group were given regular feed, control (-) was given 2 ml cow's brain and regular feed then the test group were given lime each with a dose of 1.5, 3 and 4.5 ml / kg body weight was added with 2 ml of cow's brain and regular feed. The method of measurement used is Enzymatic Colorimetric Test GPO (Glycerol-3-Phosphate Oxidase) at a wavelength of 546 nm. The results showed that administration of lime doses of 3 and 4.5 ml/kg body weight have a significant difference (p <0,05) to the control (-). However, at a dose of 4.5 ml/kg body weight more effectively and more quickly lowering triglyceride levels because the first measurement time of the second measurement time already showed a significant difference (p<0,05) .

Abstract

Glioma is a type of primary malignant brain tumor. The presence of gliomas can be characterized by a mutation R132H of isocitrate dehydrogenase type 1 (IDH1). IDH1 (R132H) contains specific immunogenic epitopes to the tumor. It is appropriate to be used as a gliomas vaccine. Therefore, it was necessary to do homology modeling for IDH1 (R132H) epitopes. TMHMM, MEMSAT-SVM and MEMSAT3 were used to predict transmembrane topology of IDH1 (R132H). Analysis of IDH1 (R132H) epitopes was performed using NetMHCII and IEDB®. The antigenicity of epitopes were predicted using VaxiJen to obtained 91 epitopes. Homology modeling using Modeller, I-TASSER and (PS)2 was established for the epitopes that have probability as tumor antigen. The results of homology modeling of IDH1 (R132H) epitopes were validated by MolProbity, ProSA-web dan QMEAN. A 3D stucture model of the epitopes was selected from three models from the homology modeling based on the validation results. Refinement was established on the epitopes using GalaxyRefine and GROMACS for energy minimization.

Abstract

Rosela (Hibiscus sabdariffa L.) memiliki banyak aktivitas farmakologi yang telah banyak dilaporkan baik secara in vitro maupun in vivo dan telah banyak diuji secara klinis. Penggunaan ekstrak dalam bentuk serbuk akan lebih praktis dan lebih terukur pemakaiannya sebagai bahan baku farmasi serta memudahkan dalam penyimpanan, pendistribusian, standardisasi zat aktif dan dapat meningkatkan stabilitasnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mempelajari efek penambahan maltodekstrin terhadap karakteristik fisik serbuk ekstrak kelopak bunga rosela dengan pembentukan mikrokapsul metode semprot kering. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menyiapkan larutan umpan dalam rasio 1:1 (R1); 1:2 (R2); dan 1:4 (R3) dengan kandungan total padatan 10%. Kemudian dilakukan mikroenkapsulasi  metode semprot kering pada suhu inlet 110-115°C, outlet 99-104°C, dan laju alir 200 mL/jam. Mikrokapsul diperoleh dengan struktur morfologi seperti bola. Rata-rata ukuran partikel menurun seiring dengan penambahan maltodekstrin. Penambahan maltodekstrin dapat menurunkan sifat higroskopisitas ekstrak serta meningkatkan kelarutan dalam air dan susut pengeringan. Proses semprot kering serbuk R2 mimiliki nilai efisiensi enkapsulasi 97,73% dan perolehan kembali produk 74,05%. Semua serbuk mikrokapsul memberikan nilai sisa pelarut < 1%.

Abstract

Brief Illness Perception Questionnaire (B-IPQ) merupakan kuesioner singkat yang digunakan untuk studi tentang persepsi penyakit seseorang dan sesuai untuk mengevaluasi persepsi penyakit pada pasien dengan penyakit kronis, salah satunya asma. Instrumen ini belum pernah digunakan untuk mengukur persepsi pada pasien asma di Indonesia, khususnya di Kalimantan Barat. Oleh sebab itu, agar instrumen B-IPQ dapat diterapkan pada penyakit asma di Indonesia, uji validitas dan reliabilitas pada instrumen B-IPQ versi bahasa Indonesia perlu dilakukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui validitas dan reliabilitas instrumen B-IPQ versi Indonesia pada pasien asma di RSUD Dokter Soedarso Pontianak. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross sectional dengan teknik purposive sampling. 32 orang pasien asma terlibat sebagai responden. Uji validitas dilakukan dengan metode Pearson correlation (nilai korelasi ≥ 0,3) dan uji reliabilitas menggunakan teknik Internal consistency (Cronbach alpha coefficient ≥ 0,7). Hasil penelitian ini adalah uji validitas menunjukkan nilai korelasi masing-masing item > 0.3 (p=0.05) dan uji reliabilitas menunjukkan nilai Cronbach alpha coefficient sebesar 0.787 > 0.7 (p=0.05). Kesimpulannya instrumen B-IPQ versi Indonesia valid dan reliabel untuk mengukur persepsi penyakit pada pasien asma di RSUD Dokter Soedarso Pontianak.

Abstract

Pengadaan obat berdasarkan Katalog Elektronik di Kabupaten Sintang telah berjalan sejak tahun 2013 namun memiliki beberapa permasalahan sehingga perlu dilakukan evaluasi mengenai implementasi kebijakan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi implementasi pengadaan obat berdasarkan Katalog Elektronik di Kabupaten Sintang tahun 2015 dimulai dari perencanaan kebutuhan, pengadaan hingga realisasi kebutuhan obat puskesmas. Desain penelitian berupa survey deskriptif dengan metode pengumpulan data primer dengan wawancara mendalam serta pengumpulan data sekunder melalui Laporan Pemakaian dan Lembar Permintaan Obat (LPLPO) puskesmas. Informan merupakan petugas pengelola obat di 3 puskesmas di Kabupaten Sintang serta Kepala Seksi Farmasi dan Alat Kesehatan di Dinas Kesehatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan proses perencanaan dan pengadaan obat berdasarkan Katalog Elektronik telah berjalan baik dengan persentase 100% dan 90%. Tahun 2015 tidak semua jenis obat dan perbekalan terealisasi namun jenisnya sudah sesuai dengan yang telah dipesan oleh puskesmas. Realisasi kebutuhan obat di Kabupaten Sintang tahun 2015 meningkat dibandingkan tahun sebelumnya dengan persentase ketersediaan terkecil sebesar 66,67% sedangkan pada tahun 2014 sebesar 36,76%.

Abstract

Salah satu bahan alam yang sudah terbukti mampu mengatasi inflamasi adalah minyak atsiri bunga cengkeh (MABC). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi sifat fisik dan uji iritasi sediaan emulgel MABC dengan penambahan enhancer berupa kombinasi asam oleat dan propilen glikol untuk meningkatkan kemampuan penetrasi MABC 10% MABC dengan ditambahkan enhancer 10% kombinasi propilen glikol dan asam oleat dengam metode Simplex Lattice Design (SLD) untuk mengetahui formula yang akan memiliki parameter uji fisik dan uji iritasi terbaik. Parameter uji fisik yang dilakukan adalah uji viskositas, pH, daya sebar, dan daya lekat emulgel sedangkan uji iritasi dilakukan dengan hewan uji kelinci putih jantan. Data yang diperoleh dihitung dengan metode Simplex Lattice Design. Emulgel MABC dengan penambahan enhancer kombinasi propilen glikol dan asam oleat yang dihasilkan mempunyai sifat fisik yang baik dan tidak mengiritasi kulit hewan uji. Komposisi optimum campuran enhancer sesuai metode SLD adalah 100% propilen glikol.
