Abstract

The purpose of this study was to evaluate how Generation X in Pasuruan City felt about the Access By KAI application in terms of perceived security, usefulness, and convenience of use. With 96 samples, a multiple linear regression analysis was performed. A significant value below the threshold supported the conclusions that interest in use is influenced by perceived security, utility, and convenience of use taken together. Only perceived ease of use, on the other hand, showed a significant effect on interest in usage when looked at separately. On the other hand, perceived security's significance value also exceeded the threshold, with a calculated t value above the t table, suggesting it does not significantly affect interest in use, while perceived usefulness's significance value exceeded the threshold, with a calculated t value lower than the t table.

Abstract

MSMEs play a significant role in supporting the country's economy as they account for 60.5% of GDP. MSMEs confront a number of difficulties related to financing, supply, and market demand that need to be given more consideration in order to support their entry into the global market. The purpose of this study is to examine how government involvement, technology advancement, human capital investment, and entrepreneurial orientation affect MSMEs (micro, small, and medium-sized firms) in Indonesia and their internationalization strategies. This study uses a quantitative approach with data collection techniques using a Likert scale questionnaire. Then descriptive analysis and Partial Least Squares (PLS) are used to analyze the data. The study's findings show that technical change significantly affects MSMEs' internationalization strategies; in contrast, entrepreneurial orientation, investments in human capital, and the role of the government are not as significant in this regard. However, this research offers stakeholders improved guidance for bolstering MSMEs' success and expansion in global markets, as well as for widening the gap in the global MSME market to promote Indonesia's sustainable economic growth.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has devastated the world economy, including Indonesia. Large-scale social restrictions as a consequence of preventing the spread of the COVID-19 virus have hampered the economy. Micro and small enterprises (MSEs) are the sectors most affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. On the other hand, the eCommerce survey showed that 24.20 percent of businesses claimed to have experienced an increase in income during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study aims to (1) find out the extent to which eCommerce adoption and income increased in MSEs during the COVID-19 pandemic; (2) looking for the effect of eCommerce adoption on MSEs on increasing MSE income during the COVID-19 pandemic; (3) knowing which items of eCommerce adoption have a significant effect on increasing MSE income; and (4) find out how big the opportunity to increase the income of each eCommerce adoption item compared to businesses that do not adopt eCommerce. This study uses descriptive analysis and binary logistic regression. The researched eCommerce adoption is seen from three dimensions, namely online sales media, training related to the use of information technology for digital marketing, and the speed of eCommerce adoption. All variables of eCommerce adoption that were studied using binary logistic regression proved to have a significant effect on increasing revenue. Of all eCommerce adoption items, eCommerce businesses that use instant messages as a sales medium, had the opportunity to experience an increase in revenue during the COVID-19 pandemic by 2.41 times compared to businesses that do not use instant messages.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to examine the function of Islamic finance in fostering macroeconomic stability in Indonesia. Specifically, it will scrutinize the stability of Islamic banks, its effects on micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), and its impact on economic growth and inflation. Employing a qualitative research approach, data were gathered by means of document analysis, encompassing books, scholarly publications, and institutional reports. The results demonstrate that Islamic banks, which employ profit-sharing and asset-backed financing structures, have higher levels of stability in comparison to conventional banks, therefore mitigating the likelihood of financial catastrophes. Islamic finance has profoundly facilitated the expansion of MSMEs by offering cost-effective, interest-free lending, therefore augmenting their productivity and economic contributions. Furthermore, Islamic finance promotes consistent economic expansion by prioritizing investments in tangible assets in industry areas such as agriculture and manufacturing. Although it suppresses speculative activity, its effect on inflation is inconclusive, as further growth of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) may have upward influence on pricing. In conclusion, the study highlights that Islamic finance contributes to Indonesia's macroeconomic stability by strengthening Islamic banks, promoting MSME development, and fostering balanced economic growth. The data shows a consistent rise in the contribution of MSMEs to Indonesia's GDP from 57.08% in 2017 to 61.90% in 2022, underscoring their increasing significance in the national economy. This upward trend highlights the growing role of MSMEs in economic development.
