Abstract

Filler merupakan material pengisi dalam lapisan aspal. Pada penelitian ini Tanah merah digunakan sebagai Filler yang lolos saringan No.200 pengganti semen yang umum digunakan pada campuran lapisan aspal. Kekuatan campuran ini adalah pada agregat- agregatnya yang saling mengisi. Dalam penelitian ini jumlah Filler yang digunakan dua variasi yaitu 2% dan 4% untuk setiap kadar aspal yang digunakan yaitu 4,5%; 5%; 5,5%; 6%; 6,5%. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan Tanah Merah dalam campuran laston AC-BC terhadap sifat karakteristik parameter Marshall.  Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Marshall berdasarkan SNI dan Spesifikasi Kementrian Umum Direktorat Jendral Bina Marga. Hasil pengujian Marshall menunujukkan nilai stabilitas rata- rata penggunaan Filler Tanah Merah dengan variasi 2% sebesar 1325 kg dan kelelehan sebesar 3,40mm sedangkan pada penggunaan Filler Tanah Merah dengan variasi 4% memiliki nilai stabilitas rata- rata sebesar 1265kg dan kelelehan 3,55mm. setelah dilakukan pengujian Marshall didapatkan hasil yang menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Tanah Merah pada campuran aspal dapat dijadikan sebagai sebagai bahan pengisi rongga (filler) campuran lapisan aspal AC- BC.

Abstract

Traffic Impact Analysis is a study of traffic impacts that occur due to changes in traffic arrangements due to a development or development in a particular region. To anticipate the influence of a large enough traffic, it is necessary to conduct a Traffic Impact Analysis. This research was conducted to determine the characteristics of the road network and move students to the UNPRI campus. Analyze how much new trip generation requires traffic engineering and traffic management. This research was conducted by quantitative descriptive method. The discussion is carried out by describing the problems that exist in sequence and then analyzed to get solutions to problems. Trip generation and attraction resulting from UNPRI Medan Faculty of Medicine campus building activities are predicted to generate trips of 183  smp /hour, and attract trips of 183 smp/hour. The road segment directly affected by the activities of the Medan Medical Faculty UNPRI is Jalan Gelas. Based on the results of the analysis conducted in the prediction of Jalan Gelas will experience changes in traffic performance. The worst performance of the 2019 basic road segment occurred in the segment 2 Ayahanda road with a Degree of Saturation of 0.73 or Level of Service D. While the performance of the road segment on a Gelas Road with a DS of 0.43 or Level of Service B.

Abstract

The implementation of construction activities, especially building construction work, has a high risk of accidents because each stage of the work contains many potential hazards that can be detrimental. This study aims to determine the highest occupational accident risk and its control in column, beam and floor slab work. The research method was carried out through field observations as well as interviews and surveys from several sources. The results of this study are jobs that contain the highest risk value, namely in the steps of installing work and dismantling column formwork, installing scaffolding, and installing wooden beams on beam and floor slab work where each step of this work has a risk level value of 6, this has high level of risk . For hazard control, the contractor carries out several work programs with the aim of reducing the potential for work accidents. As for the program in the form of  Toolbox, Safety Patrol, Safety Weekly Meeting, Safety Talk, Fooging and Extrapuding.

Abstract

The lower structure of a building construction consists of a foundation and a layer of soil to support the load of the upper construction. The condition of the soil under the structure is closely related to the behavior of the soil itself when it receives loads, for example failures that occur in the sub-grade of the embankment foundation, namely the foundation soil is too soft so that the carrying capacity of the soil to withstand the load of the embankment is small, as a result the settlement that occurs is too large. So the soil layer under the structure must be strong, stable, safe, so that it does not decrease, does not break, because it will be difficult to repair a foundation system. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of embankment soil on a footing foundation and how much settlement was caused to the foundation. The Plaxis D2 V20 method is a finite element method that aims to analyze and design the geotechnical field. Soil samples were taken at the hospital. Wulan Windi, Medan City, using manual tools. The embankment soil investigation aims to determine the nature and characteristics of the embankment soil carried out at the Civil Engineering Laboratory of the Medan Area University and the Medan State Polytechnic laboratory. The results of the soil embankment research showed that the density of soil (Gs) = 2.63 gr, wet soil volume weight (γb) = 14.8512 kN/m3, dry soil volume weight (γd) = 0.3236 kN/m3, soil permeability ( K)= 12,929 cm/hour, shear stress (φ) = 23,610 . Soil cohesion (c) = 0.057 kg/cm2, Modulus of elasticity (E) = 2400 kN/m2 . Then from the results of the running plaxis, the deformation is 0.1601 meters, while that of the Steinbrenner method, the resulting decrease is 0.1232 m. which causes the plate footing of the tread foundation to fracture. The stress that occurs in the soil is 0.012 kN/m2 and from the analysis results obtained a safety factor of 1 (one).

Abstract

This research uses oil palm shell ash as a filler of 1%, 2% and 3% of the weight and uses asphalt with 60/70 penetration, the method used is AASHTO and the specifications of Bina Marga 2018. This research was conducted to determine the characteristics and the optimum strength of the asphalt mixture using oil palm shell ash as a filler. From the resultsvof the tests that have been carried out, the averange value of the marshall test on the test object with 1% filler content is 290 kn/mm, the marshall value on the test object with a filler content 2% is 293 kn/mm, then the marshall value on the test object with a filler content of 3% is 293 kn/mm.

Abstract

Drainage is one of the infrastructure facilities for people’s lives in urban areas, but unfortunately there are many drainages that do not function properly so that drainage seems useless. One of the functions of drainage is as a building to prevent flooding and control water in an area, but in fact floods still occur, one of which is in the Kampung Lalang area, where one of the causes is the mismatch between the flood discharge and the size of the channel dimensions. Biopore infiltration drainage is one solution to overcome this problem where some of the overflow water will be returned to groundwater.

Abstract

Sistim perletakan merupakan bagian penting dalam kostruksi jembatan. Jenis perletakan yang sering dipakai pada konstruksi jembatan adalah perletakan elastomer. Kesalahan dalam perhitungan perencanaan perletakan menimbulkan resiko keruntuhan pada kostruksi. Perancangan perletakan elastomer bertujuan untuk memahami perhitungan perancangan perletakan elastomer berdasarkan Pedoman Perancangan Bantalan Elastomer untuk Perletakan Jembatan Tahun 2015 dan mengetahui spesifikasi perletakan elastomer pada SNI 3967:2013. Perancangan perletakan elastomer disimulasikan pada Sungai Sei Tanjung pada proyek Pembangunan Jalan Tol Trans Sumatera bagian pekerjaan Jalan Tol Ruas Indrapura – Kisaran. Perletakan yang tinjau adalah perletakan bantalan elastomer (elastomer bearing pads) tipe berlapis dengan dimensi: panjang elastomer (L) = 500 mm, lebar (W) = 600 mm, tebal (H) = 109 mm, tebal cover (hrcover) = 7,5 mm, tebal lapisan internal (hrinternal) = 11 mm, Jumlah lapisan baja (Nlayer) = 7 buah, dan tebal pelat baja, hst = 4 mm. Hasil perhitungan kontrol pada pembahasan menunjukan perletakan elastomer yang dipakai memenuhi persyaratan: tebal lapisan, tegangan tekan, rotasi, defleksi tekan, deformasi geser dan stabilitas.

Abstract

Asphalt is the main ingredient in road pavement. The specification of the Asphalt Concrete Wearing Course (AC-WC) mixture refers to the Specifications of the Ministry of Public Works, Directorate General of Highways 2010 revision 1 (BM 2010). Marshall test includes: stability, flow, Marshall Quotient, Voids In Mixture (VIM), Voids in Mineral Aggregate (VMA), and Voids Filled by Asphalt (VFA). In the AC-WC mixture that uses fine aggregate, namely clam shell filler. The shells used are from the Tanjung Balai area. From the results of the study, the effect of partial replacement of oyster shell filler was 15% and 25% which showed a change in the stability value for 15% mixture of 1192 kg and 25% of 1245 kg while the Specifications of the Ministry of Public Works of the Directorate General of Highways 2010 revision 1 of 800 kg had met specification requirements.

Abstract

Penurunan tanah, pergerakan tanah dan pergeseran tanah adalah masalah yang paling sering dihadapi ketika membangun konstruksi diatas lapisan tanah lunak. Tanah dengan konsistensi lunak memiliki tingkat penurunan tanah yang tinggi. Terdapat banyak metode yang dikembangkan untuk memprediksi besar total penurunan konsolidasi yang terjadi, diantaranya metode analitis dengan menggunakan teori yang dikembangkan Terzaghi atau metode element hingga menggunakan software Plaxis 2D dan 3D. Sebagai pembanding kedua metode tersebut diperlukan data harian penurunan tanah yang terjadi di lapangan dicatat dari settlement plate yang dipasang di lapangan. Analisis ini bertujuan untuk memprediksi penurunan tanah yang terjadi di lapangan menggunkan metode Terzaghi dan  metode elemen hingga secara dua dimensi dan tiga dimensi. Melalui metode analitis Terzaghi diperoleh hasil prediksi penurunan tanah -6,218 meter, dengan metode elemen hingga menggunakan plaxis 2D adalah -6,404 meter dan plaxis 3D adalah -6,356 meter. Sedangkan penurunan yang terjadi menurut pengamatan settlement plate di lapangan adalah -6,320 meter. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan prediksi penurunan konsolidasi menggunakan pemodelan Plaxis 3D memberikan hasil yang lebih mendekati penurunan hasil observasi di lapangan dibandingkan pemodelan Plaxis 2D dan metode analitis Terzaghi.

Abstract

Consolidation is the process of removing water from the pores of the soil which causes changes in the volume of the soil which results in damage to the construction above it. This is more fatal if the decline that occurs is local. Nowadays the use of vertical drains is increasingly in demand, especially with the Prefabricated Vertical Drain (PVD) system which can reduce the time of the soil consolidation process significantly from several years to a matter of months and with technological advances, software is created that can make it easier to calculate construction work with computer programs, one of which is the only finite element method software (Plaxis) to calculate the consolidation settlement process. This study aims to analyze using Finite Element Method software with the help of 2D and 3D plaxis programs to get the consolidation settlement size. The results of 2D and 3D modeling will be compared so that the results that are closest to the field conditions are obtained. From the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that the magnitude of the decrease in Plaxis 3D is closer to the settlement plate data S29 with a decrease of 6.956m or a difference of -0.234m, while the magnitude of the decrease in Plaxis 2D is 7.491 with a difference of decrease of 0.301m.
