Nowadays, the application of information systems can be applied in many fields, one of which is to support the process of adopting dog as a pet. The purpose of this research therefore is to develop an integrated information system that can be used to facilitate the process of adopting dogs. The developed information system which is web-based has several main functions, such as searching for dogs, managing adoption requests, monitoring dogs that have been adopted, and periodically managing user reports. The proposed system was developed using Rapid Application Development method, PHP programming language, Code Igniter frameworks, and MySQL database. Meanwhile, the system was tested using the black box testing method.

Determining the root of an equation means making the equation equal zero, (f (f) = 0). In engineering, there are often complex mathematical equations. With the numerical method approach, the equation can be searching for the value of the equation root. However, to find a double root approach with several numerical methods such as the bisection method, regulatory method, Newton-Raphson method, and Secant method, it is not efficient in determining multiple roots. This study aims to determine the roots of non-linear equations that have multiple roots using the modified Secant method. Besides knowing the effect of determining the initial value for the Secant method that is modifying in determining the non-linear root of persistence that has multiple roots. Comparisons were also make to other numerical methods in determining twin roots with the modified Secant method. A comparison is done to determine the initial value used. Simulations are performing on equations that have one single root and two or more double roots.

The current competitions between businesses is getting more intense, one of those competitions is in restaurant business. 3 Wise Monkeys is a restaurant that is trying to improve its customer service. One of the main problems is the unavailability of tables when they come to the restaurant, whcih can affects customer’s judgement. This research aims to help the customer and restaurant owner by designing an online reservation system to book the table and food. The benefit of the system for the customer is that they can choose their table and the menu even before they arrive to the restaurant. Furthermore, there is doorprize feature for the customers who make online reservatoin, making them want to come back in the future and use the online system. The benefit for the restaurant owner is the system can produce informations regarding the number of members, what is the favorite menus, and what time is the busiest hour for the restaurant

The development of information technology is not only beneficial for humans, but often also used for negative purposes. Crime by utilizing digital image technology is very easy to do using a computer, so it is not surprising if more and more cases of cybercrime occur. The spread of digital images on social media in the form of images or videos raises public anxiety that these images or videos cannot be considered reliable evidence, because both images and videos can be easily engineered. The purpose of this study is to analyze a digital image that has been manipulated or engineered using a particular software or program. Image manipulation techniques that will be used are: Image splicing, copy-move, and retouching images. While the analysis tool uses the ELA method introduced by Krawetz which is available online from the website (https://29a.ch/photo-forensics/#forensic-magnifier) and Jpegsnoop software.

Competition in the increasingly competitive business world spur companies to strive harder to improve the quality of their company. This research discusses the determination of Team Leader in a service company that provides integrated services that stood since the year 1996 with 9 branch offices up to now one of them in the city of Palembang. The services provided by the company are Integreted Facility Servises, Cleaning Services, Security Services, Property Services, Catering Services, Support Services, and Parking Services. In the determination of Team Leader, Supervisor and Facility Services there are 6 scoring criteria, namely Leadership, Communication Skills, Operational Forms, Operational Duties, Human Resources Aspects, and Motivational Session and Team Building. This research implemented SMART method in the process of determining Team Leader, Supervisor and Facility Services by using 12 employees proposed in February 2019, with the end of employees named Hartono elected as Team Leader With a value of 0.797. Employees named Jacop with a final value of 0.904 elected as Supervisor and employee named Dimas with final value 0, 789.

South Sumatera is one of the provinces in Indonesia that has its own distinctive characteristic especially in the local handicrafts that become an attraction for tourists who visit this region. South Sumatra consists of several district and city areas that have their own distinctive and cultural characteristics. South Sumatera area is quite spacious with a variety of different tourist attractions in each region, requiring a media information that can reach the community widely and as a medium of tourism promotion in the province of South Sumatera. One of the wealth owned by South Sumatera Province is a variety of typical handicrafts from various regions in South Sumatera. The research resulted in the design of the application catalog typical South Sumatera mobile based Android. Mobile Catalogue Typical Crafts South Sumatera will provide information about the share of South Sumatera handicrafts such as songket, batik, jumputan cloth, blongsong cloth, tanjung cloth, and crafts carving typical Palembang.

Data security for computer users is increasingly becoming a concern because it is increasingly vulnerable to illegal access even though the file has been protected with a password. This is possible with the increasing number of applications aimed at hacking owner protection. Artificial neural network that was appointed in this study is one part of computer vision, which in this study is intended to make computers able to "see" through a webcam and recognize that face has access rights to the selected file. So that computers can distinguish facial images, it needs to be trained by applying the back propagation method. The reason for choosing facial recognition is because each person has a different face, so that it can be a more effective security key than conventional methods of making or accessing files that are on a computer.

A food and beverage booth owner who sells alongside the road, has difficulty when opening and closing the booth also when the rain comes suddenly - suddenly the owner has difficulty protecting electronic equipment from rainwater which can cause a short circuit, because the process is still done manually. To overcome this problem, a system with a microcontroller circuit using Arduino Uno and a DC motor can be made that can open and close the booth with a push button command that can facilitate the process which is still done manually and with a rain sensor circuit that can detect rain as an order to close the front of the booth to protect electronic equipment from rainwater. This system is implemented in an intelligent booth prototype to test whether the algorithm made can overcome the problems experienced by the booth owner.

The percentage of poor people is the percentage of the population who have a monthly per capita expenditure below the poverty line. In this study, spatial Durbin regression used to know the factors which is giving effect to the percentage of poor population with maximum likelihood method to estimate parameters. This method used because it can maximize the probability of occurrence of each parameter. From 6 independent variables that are thought to be related to the percentage of poor people, there are only 4 independent variables that can be modeled by the spatial Durbin regression model because of the presence of significant spatial autocorrelation based on the Moran Index test. That are school participation rates aged 16-18 years, inflation, life expectancy at birth, and the human development index. The measure of the goodness of the Durbin spatial regression model calculated by looking for the value of R2 is 68,4%

The development of information technology is very rapid, resulting in an overflow of data. The amount of data can be used to obtain information needed by the user. The problem is, not all information can be found easily, especially very specific information. Likewise information about tourism. One way to overcome these problems is to utilize Natural Language Processing Technology, especially Question Answering System, which allows Computers to understand the meaning of Questions posed by users in natural languages. This study built a simple Question Answering System application. Application developed with PHP programming language, and MySql database. Preprocessing techniques used are Tokenization, Part-Of-Speech tagging, and Named Entity Recognation. The test result show that the application is able to provide answers to user questions of 82,05%.
