Abstract

This study aims to discuss how the implementation of the Discovery Learning method in MTs Salman Al-Farisi Islamic Boarding School, Karanganyar Solo; and is there an effect of the Discovery Learning method on student learning motivation implemented at MTs Pondok Pesantren Ssalman Al-Farisi Karanganyar Solo. The form of this research is quantitative research that uses a population, because it is all grade VII students at MTs Pondok Pesantren Salman Al-Farisi Karanganyar Solo. In data collection, the authors used data collection techniques in the form of observation, interview (interview), documentation, and questionnaires. To find out the implementation of the Discovery Learning method and student learning motivation the writer used the percentage formula, while to determine whether the Discovery Learning method had an effect on student learning motivation the writer used the product moment formula (rxy). The results of this study indicate that there is no effect of the Discovery Learning method application on student learning motivation with a score of 0.077. If you look at the interpretation table, the value of "r" product moment is in the range 0.00 - 0.20, which means that between variable x and variable y there is a very weak or very low correlation (it is assumed that there is no correlation between the two).

Abstract

This study aims to discuss the role of teachers in schools and society. This research is a qualitative research with the type of library research, and the data analysis techniques are using inductive and deductive methods. The findings of this study can be concluded: first, in schools, the role of the teacher is to create educational interactions that educate students. Teachers are required to be able to show authority or authority, meaning that they must be able to control, regulate and control children's behavior. If necessary he can use his power to force the child to study, do his job or obey the rules. With authority he enforces discipline for the smooth and orderly teaching-learning process. Compassion absolutely must be possessed by a teacher. If the teacher does not have authority, he will have difficulty guiding his students to comply with the rules for the sake of orderliness in school to support the success of the teaching and learning process. Second, in the community the teacher can play many roles, namely: (a) the teacher as a teacher; (b) teachers as educators; (c) teachers as role models; and (d) the teacher as a motivator.

Abstract

Noble moral education has so far emphasized the knowledge aspect rather than the attitude and application aspects. The phenomenon of student brawls and promiscuity is evidence. Public schools with their distinctive curriculum are considered successful in managing moral character education. However, not all schools are able to manage it effectively. This study aims to find out and explore data about how to plan, implement, evaluate, and educate morals. Research using a qualitative approach, is a case study of SMK DARUTTAQWA GRESIK. The findings of the study show that schools carry out program planning starting with the determination of the vision and mission, objectives, graduation standards, compiling an integrated curriculum integrating the national curriculum and the typical religious curriculum with an emphasis on moral education. evaluation is carried out continuously on all aspects of student activities. Success is marked by changes in student behavior such as discipline, diligent worship, obedience, honesty, and achievement. The community has more trust and institutions are growing. One of the research recommendations is that all stakeholders commit to the plan, set an example and provide continuous coaching and forge partnerships.

Abstract

The Effectiveness of PPK Religiosity through Duha Prayer Habit in Forming Discipline Character of Students in MTs. Manba'ul Qur-an, Mojokerto City, Thesis of Islamic Education Study Program, Postgraduate Program, Muhammadiyah University of Surabaya. The research is motivated by the existence of character improvement efforts through (PPK). In this case, it specialize the value of religiosity through habituation of duha prayers in forming the disciplinary character of students. This research uses quantitative methods with data collection techniques using questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The sample was taken by applying proportional random sampling technique and data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS for windows version 22.0. The results of the study concluded that both PPK religiosity and duha prayer are partially significant in forming the disciplinary character of students. This is proven by the results of the T test with a significance value of 0.000 which is lower than the value of α = (0.05). While the results of the correlation coefficient (R) of 0.800, which means that the influence of PPK religiosity and duha prayer is high or very strong with the measurement parameter of the correlation value from 0.70 to 0.89 which means it has a very strong relationship. This means that PPK religiosity through the habituation of praying duha is simultaneously effective in forming the disciplinary character of students.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is  to  describe,knowing  the comparison of the concepts of moral  education and knowing the actualization of the moral educational thinking of Imam al-Ghazali and Ibn Qayim al-Jauziyah when applied in the practice of education.. Penelitian is library research. Using  two types  of  data sources,  namely; Primary, and  Secondary Sources,  In data collection select and classify existing data based on association with research objects. Furthermore, data processing is done by descriptive analysis, then done analysis and interpretation of existing data. Comparative analysis will also be used in this study. This analysis is used to compromise the opinions of the two figures, so that with this comparison is made a generalization of applied theories. Untuk achieve the goal of research, a philosophical analysis of the thinking of a person in a certain time inthe past, methodologically, this research will use a historical approach. Thislanguage concluded  first      imam al-Ghazali and Ibn Qayim al-Jauziyah both set out their thoughts in criticizing the deviant and harmful filusuf thinking of the people. So they are both in formulating their thoughts together asyou  cling to islamic values. Both  Imam al-Ghazali and Ibn Qayim al-Jauziyah both used the talak measure of the Qur'an and al-Hadith..  The  third in educating imam al-Ghazali's morality is more focused on the individual himself, which is through the way of mujahadah, while Ibn Qayim argues that the role of teachers can help in educating morals. The  Four Directions and the orientation of education between Imam al-Ghazali and Ibn Qayim both aim to print the perfect human being (human kamil) in order to achieve real happiness so as to be able to live happily in this world and the hereafter. The  five Pemikiran moral educationIbn Qayim and Imam al-Ghazali both emphasized on the education of children, the sixth Blend of moral education Imam al-Ghazali and Ibn Qayim al-Juziyah is expected to be able to print human beings who are sincere karimah so as to face the challenges of the times.

Abstract

As a national education subsystem, Islamic education should participate contribute in building and improving the quality of Indonesian people with creating the best generation (khairunnas / goden generation), which is the generation with high achievements in science and technology and be able to practice it in everyday life. This study aims to discuss the management strategies of Islamic educational institutions. This type of research is library research, namely research whose main object is books or other sources of literature. In this paper two strategies are offered management namely general strategies and specific strategies. Strategies are generally offered based on the Sirozi concept which includes substantive, bottom-up, deregulatory, and strategy cooperative. Whereas specifically the implementation of Islamic Education Management functions (planning, organizing, implementing / directing and supervising) comprehensive and consistently valued as smart and futuristic strategic steps.

Abstract

This research was conducted because it was motivated by the problems that occur in students at this time, ranging from brawls, harassment, sexual intercourse, bullying, moral crisis and others. This has led many parties to highlight the role of education, meaning that events in society cannot be separated from the role of education. The formulation of the problem of this thesis is first, how is the implementation of the efforts of Al Islam teachers in improving the morality of the students of Muhammadiyah 11 Surabaya Junior High School. Second, how is the application of religion values in the daily activities of SMP Muhammadiyah 11 Surabaya students, Third, what are the supporting and inhibiting factors of implementation the values of morality and religion in daily activities at SMP Muhammadiyah 11 Surabaya. This type of research is field research which collects primary data through interviews from the principal, teachers of SMP Muhammadiyah 11 Surabaya, and guardians of SMP Muhammadiyah 11 Surabaya students, while secondary data is obtained from the literature and documents of SMP Muhammadiyah 11 Surabaya, after all data is collected in further analysis qualitatively and described in descriptive form. The results of the study concluded that the activities of the teacher's efforts to improve morality showed satisfactory results, namely the inclusion of the values of humanism, manners and morality, while the things that support are the policies of the principal, educators, school friends, family, facilities and infrastructure as well as the factors that become obstacles, are schoolmates, facilities and infrastructure and family.

Abstract

This research was conducted because of the background of the problems thatSeeing the existing phenomena, there are books in which contain content that is not in accordance with the developmental psychology of students.Textbooks on Islamic religious education and manners for the first grade elementary school 2013 curriculum which have technical differences with the previous curriculum, one of which is textbooks prepared and made by the Minister of Education and Culture.The problem formulations of this thesis is First, what is the appropriateness of the material / content in the first grade Islamic Education and Characteristics textbook in the 2013 curriculum in terms of the psychology of cognitive and language development, socio-emotional development and social development. Second, how is the feasibility of presenting Islamic Religious Education textbooks and the first grade character in the 2013 curriculum in terms of cognitive and language development psychology, socio-emotional development and social development.Third, the elementary school 2013 curriculum is reviewed from the psychology of cognitive and language development, socio-emotional and social development.This type of research is a library research (research) using descriptive-qualitative research methods. The results of the study indicate that the feasibility of the content / material in terms of completeness of the material and the breadth of the material is generally appropriate, but in several chapters of the lesson there are basic competencies and indicators that are not suitable. The feasibility of the presentation is in accordance with the developmental psychology of the students concerned, as well as the appropriate language feasibility, using general and clear vocabulary so that it is easy to understand.

Abstract

Use of learning resource in improving the quality of learning in Islamic Religious Education Subjects at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) in Mutiara Bunda Surabaya, Thesis of Islamic Education Study Program, Postgraduate Program, Muhammadiyah University of Surabaya. The research was motivated by educational problems, starting from the lack of enthusiasm for student learning, student apathy towards lessons, not conducive to the learning process and the rise of student online games. The formulation of the problem of this thesis, First, how to use learning resources in improving the quality of learning in Islamic Religious Education subjects in MI that was elementary school. Mutiara Bunda Surabaya. Second, how was the function of using learning resources in MI. Mutiara Bunda Surabaya. Third, what was the impact of the use of learning resources in MI. Mutiara Bunda Surabaya. This type of research was a field research that collected primary data through interviews with the deputy head of Madrasah, MI teachers and students in Mutiara Bunda. Secondary data was from literature and MI documents in Mutiara Bund. After all the data collected were analysed qualitatively, in descriptive form. The results were concluded that the use of appropriate and maximum learning resources can improve the quality of learning, namely first using modules or worksheets, libraries, internet, resource persons and the environment. The two functions of learning sources as sources of information were motivating, providing comprehensive experiences and instilling new concepts to students. The three impacts of using learning resources provided positive motivation and direct learning experiences. Supporting factors were policies of the principal of madrasah, motivation of teachers and families. Inhibiting factors were limited facilities and infrastructure, time, and low intention and motivation.

Abstract

Memorizing the koran now feels so easy with various methods that adopt changes in people's lifestyles. This is very encouraging so that it is not only dominated by pesantren circles, but all circles can become memorizers as long as there is intention and sincerity. The formulation of the problem of this thesis, First, how is the development of the potential and quality of tahfidz. Second, how to implement the tajdied method in supporting the quality of memorization. Third, what are the supporting and inhibiting factors of implementing the tajdied method in memorizing koran juz 30, 29, and 1 at SD Muhammadiyah 10 Surabaya. This research is included in the qualitative category, data collection using participant observation, interviews, and documentation, using data reduction, presentation, and verification. The results showed that: the learning process uses one day one maqro' hijaz. Implementation of activities: memorizing deposits, murajaah, munaqosah, and grand graduation. Supporting factors were found: using the rasm ustmani quran equipped with maqro' hijaz markers, murottal hijaz tutorials in various forms, such as youtobe, MP4, MP3, as well as discussion groups via social media, level memorization targets, awards, time management, and virtual munaqosah (at during the Covid-19 pandemic). Inhibiting factors: there is no complete series of koran rasm ustmani with hijaz tone markers, boredom during the Distance Learning period, lack of ability to manage time between school assignments and memorization, weak family and social environment motivation, uncomfortable home environment conditions, and limited internet quota.
