Abstract

This paper aims to analyze mangrove ecotourism in Sei Nagalawan Village, Perbaungan District, Serdang Bedagai Regency as a manifestation of the utilization of coastal and marine natural resources in terms of social, economic, and cultural institutions. This research was conducted with a qualitative approach, in Sei Nagalawan Village, Perbaungan District, Serdang Bedagai Regency. Data collection techniques with in-depth interviews, and FGD. Data analysis was carried out by descriptive qualitative. The results showed that the fishing community of Sei Nagalawan Village managed mangrove ecotourism in Kampoeng Nipah by forming a cooperative group called Muara Baimbai. Kampoeng Nipah mangrove tourism management group offers mangrove educational tours, processing mangrove plants into food, such as jeruju crackers, mangrove syrup and mangrove tea. The mangrove eco-tourism management group aims to help the economy of the community, especially fishermen, as well as protect the condition of the coast by planting mangroves in coastal areas. Mangrove Ecotourism in Sei Nagalawan Village, Perbaungan District, Serdang Bedagai Regency provides an example of sustainable utilization of coastal resources. Abstract

Indonesia is the fastest-growing country in digital adoption comparing to Brazil and China, as McKinsey's research report published on February 11, 2019. These facts and data were obtained from the research, which involved 17,000 people in 15 countries. The Covid-19 pandemic that has spread across the world, including Indonesia, promotes digital transformation and acceleration by changing ways to interact, learn, and work. As the largest archipelagic country in the world of 17,491 islands, Indonesia still has a wide digital divide. Internet access is still a luxurious thing and rare, especially for the islands of Natuna District on the state border. On the other hand, the government seeks to promote connectivity inclusion by providing internet access for 4,000 villages and sub-districts in 3T areas (disadvantaged, frontier, and outermost). It is needed various approaches to be strategies for managing state borders in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. The theory used was state border management theory, human security, and theories related to digitalization. The methodological approach used was qualitative, with the expected research results is to provide solutions for border management strategies. Abstract

The main objective of this study is to analyse the impact of corporate governace on the corporate risk disclosure of Malaysian corporations. The research has used quantitative methods, namely, regression testing, in the form of descriptive statistics and multiple regression analysis. The data obtained in this research are analyzed by using the Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS). To answer the study objectives, the researcher analyzes the nonfinancial companies listed on Bursa Malaysia. The results of this study indicate that board size affects corporate risk disclosure, while board independence no affects corporate risk disclosure. It shows that the greater the board size, the better the level of supervision and pressure on management, thus encouraging management to be more transparent corporate risk disclosure. This study can contribute to the government as a reference in the preparation of corporate risk disclosure policies to increase investor confidence in company risk disclosure information produced by public companies. Abstract

The aim of the research is to find out how the role of individual counselling services using homework assessment techniques to reduce the behaviour of students using gadgets at SMK Bina Patria 1 Sukoharjo in the academic year 2020/2021. This research was conducted at SMK Bina Patria 1 Sukoharjo for the academic year 2020/2021. This research is a descriptive qualitative research, data collection techniques in this study using interviews, observations, documentation and home visits. In this study, the subject was one of the students of SMK Bina Patria 1 Sukoharjo for the academic year 2020/2021. The validity of the data used in this study was the triangulation of sources and data. Qualitative data analysis is inductive, which is based on an analysis of the data obtained, then a relationship pattern is developed with the following steps: data reduction, data presentation, results or conclusion. The results of this research is explain how the role of individual counselling services with homework assessment techniques to reduce the use of gadgets for students of SMK Bina Patria 1 Sukoharjo. From the results of individual counselling that was conducted for 4 (four) meetings, it was found that there was a change from the subject's self towards a better direction in excessive use of gadgets both at home, at school and in the community. It is hoped that participants can be responsible for themselves and the tasks given and realize that excessive use of gadgets will have a negative impact on their lives someday. Abstract

Avocado juice consider as perishable food and easily contaminated to pathogenic bacteria. Previous research showed that avocado juice sold in Surakarta city was contaminated with coliform, Salmonella-Shigella sp, and also high in aerobic plate count. Yoghurt was fermented milk which contain lactic acid and have an antimicrobial activity. The aims of the research was to determine the ability of yoghurt to inhibit the growth of contaminant in avocado juice. Completely randomized design with 2 factors were applied. The factor was yoghurt concentration and the second factor was incubation time. The results showed that the lowest number of TPC microbes was found in avocado juice with the addition of 10% yogurt, namely 6.16 ± 0.19 log CFU/ml, the lowest amount of Yeast/Mold was found in avocado juice with the addition of 10% yogurt, namely 4.97 ± 0, 35 log CFU/ml, the lowest amount of coliform was found in avocado juice with 15% of yogurt (2.83 ± 0.00 log CFU/ml), the lowest amount of total Salmonella-Shigella was found in avocado juice with the addition of 20% yoghurt (2.70 ± 0.17 log CFU/ml) and the lowest amount of Total Staphylococci was found in avocado juice with the addition of 15% yogurt (4.00 ± 0.00 log CFU / ml). Yoghurt were not able to inhibit the growth of contaminant in avocado juice. Another natural antimicrobial agent should be explored to maintain food safety, especially for minimally processed food. Abstract

This research entitled Analysis of Students' Trends in Continuing Education in Senior High School in Class IX Students of SMP Negeri 18 Surakarta for the 2019/2020 Academic Year was conducted from August to September 2020 at SMP Negeri 18 Surakarta. This study aims to determine how to analyze the tendency of students to continue their education in high school in class IX students of SMP Negeri 18 Surakarta in the academic year 2019/2020 " The subjects of this study were class IX counselor, student affairs, parents class IX, and grade IX students. The object of this research is the analysis of the selection of further studies in high school by discussing it in a qualitative study. The data collection techniques used were interview, observation, and documentation methods. The validity of the data in this study was triangulation of sources and triangulation of techniques. In this study, data analysis using Miles and Huberman's model. Based on the data analysis, the conclusion is that 95% of students continue their education in high school, and 5% of students do not continue their education in high school. And as many as 30% of students continue their education in SMA on the grounds that they want to develop the academic field and want to continue their education at university, and 65% of students continue their education at SMK on the grounds that they want to work after graduating from SMK. In addition, the trend in continuing education in high school is strongly influenced by the guidance and counseling teachers who always provide motivation, information, and conduct individual counseling for students who find it difficult to determine education after graduating from junior high school, besides that the school and counselor collaborate with existing high schools in Soloraya to hold outreach to grade IX students. Thus, class IX students of SMP N 18 Surakarta in the 2019/2020 academic year tend to continue their education in high school after completing junior high school. Abstract

Indonesian government initiating a program called the School Child Nutrition Program (PROGAS) in 2016 as respon to FAO’s School Feeding program in NTT and Papua 2012 which successfully improve nutrition and eduction there. The purpose of this paper is to asses the PROGAS in Kulon Progo in specific using globa governance framework on school feeding. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of literature studies. Data analysis consists of the stages of collecting data, categorizing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the FAO regime influences the decision-making of school food delivery programs starting from School Child Supplement Program (PMT-AS) in 1991 to the School Child Nutrition Program (PROGAS) in 2016. Implementation of PROGAS in Kulon Progo, the government has followed the principles and standards imposed by global governance such as the use of local products, community participation, and targeting based on needs. However, several other standards such as sustainability, funding, and a strong institutional structure are still the big task of the Indonesian government to realize a sustainable and long-term program. Abstract

This study aims to conduct a study and analysis of the substance of Law Number 2 of 2012 concerning Land Acquisition for Development for Public Interest, in order to ascertain whether the law has met the basic values of the law, so that it can be seen to what extent its validity is valid from philosophical, juridical, and sociological reviews. This research is a normative or doctrinal legal research, using a statute approach, while the type of data is secondary, obtained from document review and literature study of primary, secondary and tertiary legal materials. The analysis technique uses an interactive model. The results of this study indicate that the land acquisition legal system or Law Number 2 of 2012 has validity from a juridical review, but does not have validity from a philosophical review and from a sociological review. Based on the results of the above research, it is recommended that the Government immediately revise Law Number 2 of 2012. Key words: validity, land acquisition, fair

Abstract

This study aims to determine the results of "Analysis of the Trends in Students to Obtain Learning Motivation Through Individual Counseling Services for Class IX Students of SMP Negeri 18 Surakarta Academic Year 2020/2021." The subjects of this study were students of class IX with low learning motivation, parents and counseling teachers. The object of this research is to analyze the students' tendency to learn motivation through individual counseling by discussing it in a qualitative study. The data collection techniques used in this research are observation, interview and documentation methods. The observation method is used to obtain data sources from clients during the interview. While the interview method is used to obtain information from several sources related to the tendency of students to gain learning motivation through individual counseling. While the documentation method is used to obtain activity data during the research as well as supporting data in this study. The validity of the data in this study is the triangulation of sources, triangulation of techniques. Triangulation of sources is the collection of different data using the same technique. while the triangulation of techniques is data collection by researchers using different data collection techniques to obtain data from the same source. In this study, the data analysis model of Miles and Huberman used data analysis where data analysis was carried out when data collection took place, and after completing data collection within a certain period. If the answers to the results of the interview after being analyzed are not satisfactory, the researcher will continue the questions again, until a certain stage is obtained data that is considered credible. Based on the data analysis, the conclusion is that the counselee initially has low learning motivation, where the counselee often does not participate in online learning and does not collect assignments given by the teacher. After the researcher carried out individual counseling services, there were positive changes that occurred to the counselee, namely the counselee had started to actively participate in online learning and always collected assignments given by the teacher. Changes that occur in counselees due to individual counseling activities carried out by researchers can be concluded that the role of individual counseling can be used to overcome the problems of students who are less motivated to learn in taking online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

The implementation of autonomous learning needs various activities and media in order to attain learning outcomes. The article presents the research findings about the students’ perception toward autonomous learning through computer mediated communication (CMC). The research was carried out in the intensive reading lesson that consists of 14 meetings and 100 minutes each. The type of research is a descriptive qualitative. The participant in the research is 2nd semester students of bachelor degree of English language education at Slamet Riyadi University, Indonesia, who are 36 students. The research was done both offline and online learnings before and during corona pandemic situation in 2020. The methods of collecting the data are questionnaire after learning finished and observation in following the lesson. The researchers analyzed the data used data display, data reduction, and conclusion. The research findings show that there are various activities facilitating the students’ reading comprehension. They are online listening, text-based and video based CMC, collaborative activity, online chat log, and text based communication; the students have a responsibility to follow both offline and online learning activities by doing individual and collaborative activities, and the students use creative language and language strategy to communicate the texts’ content being learnt.
