Abstract

This study examines the form of Sasak language interference in Arabic language practice by students of Madinatul Ulum NW Mumbang Islamic Boarding School. Interference occurs in various aspects of language, including phonology and syntax as well as reduplication. This phenomenon is caused by the influence of the mother tongue (Sasak language) and the lack of mastery of Arabic vocabulary of students, as well as minimal understanding of Arabic language structure. This study uses a qualitative descriptive phenomenological approach, the data were obtained through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study showed that phonological, syntactic and reduplication interference dominated students' errors in speaking Arabic. To minimize the negative impact of this interference, the Islamic boarding school implemented several intensive programs, such as muhadasah, memorizing the muhawaroh book, drilling uslub and watching Arabic films as well as learning Nahwu science. This finding confirms that although mother tongue interference (Sasak language) is a real challenge. However, the application of the right learning method and a supportive learning environment can significantly improve the Arabic language competence of students.

Abstract

Language errors in Arabic learning refer to deviations from the standard rules of Arabic made by non-native learners. These errors span phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, and pragmatics, potentially hindering effective language acquisition. This study aims to examine the types of language errors in Arabic learning, analyze their causes, and propose relevant teaching recommendations. The method employed is a qualitative literature study that gathers data from academic journals, books, articles, and related websites. The findings reveal that syntactic and phonological errors are the most common, primarily caused by first language interference, poor understanding of Arabic grammar, and non-contextual teaching approaches. These results highlight the importance of error analysis-based strategies to improve the quality of Arabic language instruction.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the practice of mukhabarah agreement known as "paron" or "maro" in the agricultural profit sharing system in Tambelangan Village, and to review its suitability with the perspective of maqashid sharia. The uniqueness of the practice in this village lies in the absence of time limits in the profit sharing agreement, which is normatively different from the provisions of fiqh but has become a hereditary tradition that is considered mutually beneficial by the local community. The study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection through participatory observation, semi-structured interviews with landowners and cultivators selected through purposive sampling, and documentation studies. Data analysis adopts the interactive model of Miles and Huberman including data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research findings show that the practice of mukhabarah in Tambelangan Village, although not implementing formal time limits, is able to realize the five aspects of maqashid sharia: hifz al-mal through optimizing land use, hifz al-nafs by ensuring farmers' livelihoods, hifdz al-din through implementing the principle of ta'awun, hifdz al-aql through developing farming skills, and hifdz al-nasl by ensuring the sustainability of family livelihoods. This practice is a manifestation of the values of mutual cooperation and trust that are rooted in the culture of the community, creating a sustainable symbiotic relationship and bridging the normative ideals of fiqh with the socio-economic realities of the local community.

Abstract

In this article, the author will analyze the ratio decidendi of the judge's decision in the case of marriage annulment which shows the existence of an antinomy between Justice and Legal Certainty based on decision Number 3617/Pdt.G/2021PA. Dpk, decision Number 36/Pdt.G/2022/PTA. Bdg and decision Number 811 K/Ag/2022. The results of the study show that in marriage annulment cases, the panel of judges of first instance, the panel of appellate judges and the panel of cassation have different ratios decidendi in their legal considerations, so that from the three decisions there is an antinomy (contradiction) between justice and certainty. The panel of judges of the first instance, which considers one legal fact, but ignores other legal facts, causes the lack of legal certainty. The Appellate Panel considered that Article 27 paragraph (3) of Law Number 1 of 1974 had fulfilled legal certainty, but ignored other legal facts so as to ignore the values of justice. On the other hand, the Cassation Panel in its ratio decidendi decision has considered various legal facts, both formally and materially, so that it has considered two legal ideals, namely justice and legal certainty in a proportionate and balanced manner.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the paradigm of sleep in the Qur'an through a comparative method (tafsir muqorain) between Tafsir An-Nur by Hasby Ash-Siddiqye and Tafsir Fathul Qodir by Imam Asy-Syaukani. The focus of this research is to analyze the concept of sleep from several key verses, namely: QS. An- Naba’ : 9, QS. Az- Zumar : 42, QS. Al – Isra’ : 79. This study is very important because sleep is not just a biological phenomenon, but also has spiritual significance in Islam, where the Qur'an views sleep as a sign of God's power, a form of mercy, and a time for worship. The method used is muqorain interpretation, comparing the interpretations of both mufassir regarding the verses that discuss sleep. This approach allows researchers to explore the tendencies of both interpreters by comparing their backgrounds, scholarly expertise, and other factors. The research results show a difference in the approach of the two mufassir, where Hasby tends to prioritize a contextual modernist approach, while Asy-Syaukani emphasizes a classical textual approach. Both approaches contribute to enriching the understanding of the concept of sleep in Islam, both from physiological and spiritual aspects. The conclusion of this research emphasizes that the muqorain method is not only relevant for understanding the diversity of interpretations but also beneficial in building critical awareness of various perspectives. Through the comparison of interpretations, this research presents a more holistic understanding of the concept of sleep in the Qur'an, making it applicable in the context of modern life.

Abstract

The main objective is to explore the constraints and solutions in increasing public participation in sharia financial services at Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI), particularly in Medan, North Sumatra. The proposed hypothesis is that sharia financial literacy and effective education can increase public awareness and interest in BSI services. The method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through structured questionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentation from 115 BSI customers in Medan. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing and verification. The results indicate several main obstacles, namely the low level of sharia financial literacy (only 12.5% of respondents have a strong understanding of sharia financial principles), the limited effectiveness of promotions (50.9% feel the promotions are quite effective, while 23.7% find them less informative), and technical challenges such as difficulties in migrating the application to Beyond (37.5% of respondents) and the instability of the BSI Mobile application (59% of respondents). The recommended strategies include strengthening community-based education programs, collaborating with educational institutions, diversifying promotional media, and investing in technological infrastructure. The importance of financial and technological literacy in enhancing sharia financial inclusion is a key focus, while also providing strategic recommendations for BSI to expand its service reach. The results are expected to serve as a reference for the development of more inclusive marketing strategies and educational programs.
