Abstract

The research aims to investigate: (1) implementation of democtratization of educational system in islamic boarding school; (2) the factor of prosponent and inhibit in implementing of democtratization of educational system in boarding school; and (3) the prospect of democtratization of educational system in boarding school to shape civil society. The research was qualitatif approach by using case study. Research subject are headmaster of boarding school and student. The data were colected by observation, interview, and documentation. The data were analyzed desciptively. The results showet that: The first; implementation of the democratization of the educational system in Islamic boarding schools in the form of: 1) to establish an open attitude through a process approach in teaching. 2) to establish collective leadership. 3) There is no punishment system for students who violated the regulation, but by inculcating self-awareness. 4) There is freedom for student of boarding school to have communication devices / mobile phones. 5) the headmaster of boarding school gave concessions to student to look for general knowledge outside the boarding school. Second; Supporting Factors: education of Humanist-religious, enthusiasm and religious motivation, sincerity, and autonomy and independence. While the inhibiting factors include: Eliteism in religion. Barakah tradition and total obedience was wrong. Third; The prospect of democratization educational system in boarding school to shape civil society. Civil society was the form of society that was based on religion as a source of morality, inspiration and action in order of social life for social togetherness to live peacefully, democratic and tolerant, so that shape an ethical society, egalitarian and civilization. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi: (1) pelaksanan demokratisasi sistem pendidikan di Pondok Pesantren; (2) faktor pendukung dan penghambat pelaksanaan demokratisasi sistem pendidikan di pondok pesantren; dan (3) prospek demokratisasi sistem pendidikan pondok pesantren dalam mewujudkan masyarakat madani. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Subyek penelitianya adalah pengasuh pesantren dan santri. Metode pengumpulan datanya dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Metode analisis data bersifat deskriptif. Hasil penelitianya menunjukan: Pertama; Pelaksanaan demokratisasi sistem pendidikan di pondok pesantren berupa: 1) Pembentukan sikap terbuka melalui pendekatan proses dalam pengajaran. 2) Membentuk kepemimpinan kolektif. 3) Tidak ada sistem ta’zir (hukuman) bagi santri yang melanggar qanun (peraturan), tapi dengan penanaman kesadaran diri. 4) Adanya kebebasan bagi santri untuk memiliki alat komunikasi/handphone. 5) Pengasuh memberikan kelonggaran kepada santri untuk mencari ilmu pengetahuan umum di luar pondok pesantren. Kedua; Faktor Pendukung: Pendidikan humanis-religius, semangat dan motivasi agama, keikhlasan, dan otonomi serta kemandirian. Sedangkan faktor penghambatnya antara lain: Elitisme dalam agama. Tradisi barokah dan kepatuhan total yang salah. Ketiga; Prospek demokratisasi sistem pendidikan pesantren dalam mewujudkan masyarakat madani. Masyarakat madani merupakan bentuk masyarakat yang didasarkan agama sebagai sumber moral, inspirasi dan aksi dalam tatanan kehidupan bermasyarakat atas kebersamaan sosial untuk hidup secara damai, penuh demokratis dan toleransi, sehingga terwujud masyarakat etis, egaliter dan berbudaya. Karena masyarakat madani tidak akan terwujud tanpa proses transmisi kebudayaan yang di dalamnya sangat berperan fungsi pendidikan.

Abstract

This article aims to explore the urgency of learning innovation in Islamic religious education. Learning innovation is a strategy that is structured as well as pposible to answer various kinds of learning problems. The Progressiveness in science and technology is increasingly dynamic and sustainable as a result of modernization and globalization. Learning of Islamic religious education requires innovation to answer various kinds of problems which occur in society. The learning that utilizes information technologies in formal education is named E-learning. One of the advantages is that students can learn about teaching materials any time and anywhere if needed, considered teaching materials are stored on the computer. While one disadvantage is the decreased interaction between teachers and students or even between students themselves. Therefore, the expected out come from learning of islamic religious education should be had the competencies that are required by stakeholder needs, which should fulfill professional needs, social needs, industrial needs, and aspects of scientific vision. Thus, the nation has skilled human resources and be able to compete both locally and internationally. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi urgensi inovasi pembelajaran dalam pendidikan agama islam.inovasi pembelajaran merupakan suatu strategi yang disusun sedemikian rupa untuk menjawab berbagai macam permasalahan pembelajaran. Kemajuan dalam bidang ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi semakin dinamis dan berkelanjutan sebagai akibat dari modernisasi dan globalisasi. Pembelajaran pendidikan agama islam memerlukan inovasi untuk menjawab berbagai macam persoalan yang terjadi di masyarakat. Pembelajaran yang memanfaatkan teknologi informasi dalam pendidikan formal disebut E-learning. Salah satu kelebihannya adalah peserta didik dapat belajar tentang bahan ajar setiap saat dan di mana saja kalau diperlukan mengingat bahan ajar tersimpan di komputer. Sedangkan salah satu kekurangannya adalah kurangnya interaksi antara guru dan siswa atau bahkan antar siswa itu sendiri. Dengan demikian out come yang diharapkan dari pembelajaran PAI adalah harus mempunyai kompetensi yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan stakeholder, yaitu harus memenuhi kebutuhan profesional (profesional needs), kebutuhan masyarakat (social needs), kebutuhan dunia kerja (industrial needs), dan kebutuhan generasi masa depan (aspek scientific vision). Sehingga, bangsa ini memiliki SDM yang terampil dan mampu berdaya saing baik lokal maupun internasional.

Abstract

The article aims to explore several concept of contemporary Islamic thinking. It is the time several thinking concepts about Islam which continually developed along with social change. Islamic doctrine obligated to all humanity to learn and to use the mind. Accordingly, it created Islamic thinking concept is dynamic. Islamic religion is faith religion, worship religion, knowledge religion, and civilization religion, therefore Islamic religion received in direction of world. Islam is religion which was revelation of the god, and it is not cultural religion, however Islam is not be opposed the culture.. Islamic religion has function to guard the culture and thinking to bring the luck for humanity. In modern era, various temporary issues about Islam such a liberalism, pluralism, terrorism, and gender equity. Moeslim obligation must be rational thinking and critical thinking to respond it, therefore is not bearing anarchist and apathy society. Dialogist and openness attitude must be necessary to become main solution to solve the problems. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menelusuri konsep-konsep pemikiran islam kontemporer. Dewasa ini konsep-konsep pemikiran tentang islam terus berkembang sesuai dengan gerak perubahan sosial. Ajaran islam mewajibkan seluruh umat manusia untuk terus belajar dan menggunakan akalnya. Hal demikianlah yang membuat konsep pemikiran islam bersifat dinamis. Agama islam adalah agama aqidah, agama ibadah, agama pengetahuian, dan agama peradaban dengan demikian islam bisa diterima diseluruh penjuru dunia. Islam adalah agama yang diwahyukan dan bukan agama budaya, namun islam tidak anti budaya. Agama islam berfungsi untuk menkawal budaya dan pemikiran agar membawa kemaslahatan bagi manusia. Pada zaman modern ini banyak sekali isu-isu temporer dalam dunia islam seperti isu liberalisme, pluralisme, terorisme, dan kesetaraan gender. Kewajiban orang islam adalah harus mampu berpikir rasional dan kritis untuk menyikapi hal demikian agar tidak melahirkan masyarakat yang anarkis dan apatis. Sikap dialogis dan terbuka sangat diperlukan bahkan menjadi solusi utama untuk memecahkan masalah tersebut.

Abstract

The research aims to explore the implementation of character education at the level of early childhood. The researcher elect TK Harapan Bunda Cimahi as research location, by involving headmaster, teacher, and parents as research subject. The result showed that: (1) character education in TK Harapan Bunda Cimahi based on education program is integrating religion education with method which optimized student potential comprehensively; (2) education program implemented through learning activity which integrated the educaton based on character, extracurricular, and mutual cooperation betweenn parents and teacher; and (3) the evaluation implemented through daily assessment which conducted observation technique, field note, portofolio collection, working metdoh, and completed questionnaire by parent. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelusuri pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter pada jenjang Anak Usia Dini (AUD). Untuk itu peneliti memilih lokasi penelitian yakni TK Harapan Bunda Cimahi, dengan melibatkan unsur kepala sekolah, guru dan orang tua siswa sebagai subjek penelitian. Data diperoleh dengan menggunakan teknik studi dokumentasi, wawancara dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1) Pendidikan karakter di TK Harapan Bunda Cimahi didasarkan pada program pendidikan yang mengintegrasikan pendidikan agama dengan cara mengoptimalkan seluruh potensi peserta didik secara keseluruhan; (2) Program pendidikan tersebut dilaksanakan melalui kegiatan pembelajaran terintegrasi pendidikan berbasis karakter, ekstrakurikuler dan kegiatan kerjasama kemitraan antara orang tua dan guru; dan (3) kegiatan evaluasi dilakukan melalui penilaian harian dengan menggunakan teknik observasi, pencatatan, pengumpulan portofolio, unjuk kerja dan dan kuesioner yang diisi oleh orang tua.

Abstract

This article aims to explore the effects on teacher competency testing to improve the learning quality. Deliberation efforts must be implemented to realize professional teachers: prosperous and competent. It is required absolutely to shape the system and quality eeucation practice. The law of Teachers and Lecturers as the policy to realize professional teachers. The law of teachers and lecturers decided the qualifications and certifications which will determine the quality and competence of teachers. Therefore, the implementation of certification will confront various obstacles. Besides the payment issue, various challenges and demands will emerge . How the government faces these challenges and demands will determine whether certification will succeed in improving the quality of teacher competencies. In other hand, teacher training and empowerment after certification will also determine whether certification activities will improve the quality of education or not. inappropriate coaching and empowerment do not close the possibility which occure certification activities as an activities to improve teacher welfare as an intermediate goal, while the ultimate goal of certification activities to improve the quality of education which is less attention from certification participants. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menelusuri efek uji kompetensi guru dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Upaya yang sungguh-sungguh perlu dilaksanakan untuk mewujudkan guru yang profesional: sejahtera dan memiliki kompetensi. Hal ini merupakan syarat mutlak untuk menciptakan sistem dan praktik pendidikan yang bermutu. Undang-Undang Guru dan Dosen sebagai suatu kebijakan untuk mewujudkan guru profesional. UUGD yang menetapkan kualifikasi dan sertifikasi akan menentukan mutu dan kompetensi guru. Namun demikian, pelaksanaan sertifikasi akan menghadapi berbagai kendala. Di samping persoalan biaya, berbagai tantangan dan tuntutan juga akan muncul. Bagaimana cara pemerintah menghadapi tantangan dan tuntutan ini, akan menentukan apakah sertifikasi akan berhasil meningkatkan mutu kompetensi guru. Selain hal tersebut, pembinaan dan pemberdayaan guru pasca sertifikasi juga akan menentukan apakah kegiatan sertifikasi akan meningkatkan mutu pendidikan atau tidak. Pembinaan dan pemberdayaan yang kurang tepat tidak menutup kemungkinan akan menyebabkan kegiatan sertifikasi sekedar kegiatan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan guru sebagai tujuan antara, sementara tujuan akhir dari kegiatan sertifikasi untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan menjadi kurang mendapat perhatian dari peserta sertifikasi.

Abstract

The article aims to explore the concept of Juvenile delinquency in Islamic education perspective. The teenager delinquency in Islamic education perspective is the serious and contradictive problem with educational purpose. It can become boomerang in education world. Teenager is nation expectation shoot and religion, which will determine the advantage and disadvantage of nation. Considering the importance of guidance teenager must be provided by faith inculcation, pious charity, broad knowledge, and noble character. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menelusuru konsep kenakalan remaja dalam perspektif pendidikan Islam. Kenakalan remaja jika ditinjau dari kacamata pendidikan Islam merupakan sesuatu problem yang sangat serius dan kontradiktif dengan tujuan pendidikan Islam. Bahkan dapat menjadi boomerang dalam dunia pendidikan. Remaja merupakan tunas harapan bangsa dan agama, yang akan menentukan maju atau mundurnya suatu bangsa. Mengingat sangat pentingnya pembinaan remaja ini maka pendidikan Islam selalu berupaya untuk membekali dan menanamkan nilai-nilai luhur dan remaja itu harus dibekali dengan penanaman iman, amal shaleh, ilmu pengetahuan yang luas dan akhlak budi pekerti yang baik.

Abstract

The debate around Sunni and Shia, in addition to the issue of post-Rasulullah leadership, is also in the matter of Shari'a law between the two. It is not uncommon for the debate to arise in conflict at the epistemological level, even at the level of axiology. But actually, both of them have similar points that cannot be denied by each other. This article will describe Sunni-Shi'a historical sources in fiqh issues, sources used by both and what are the legal products produced through these sources. By comparing between Jurisprudence of Ja'fari (Syiah) and Hanafi (Sunni), this paper tries to find Sunni-Shia meeting points in the matter of its Shari'a. Perdebatan seputar Sunni dan Syiah, selain dalam persoalan kepemimpinan pasca Rasulullah, juga dalam persoalan hukum syariat antar keduanya. Tidak jarang perdebatan tersebut memunculkan pertikaian baik dalam tataran epistemologi, bahkan pada tingkat aksiologi. Namun sebenarnya, keduanya memiliki titik-titik persamaan yang tidak bisa dinafikan satu sama lainnya. Tulisan ini akan menjabarkan sumber historis Sunni-Syiah dalam persoalan fikih, sumber-sumber yang digunakan keduanya dan apa saja produk hukum yang dihasilkan melalui sumber-sumbernya itu. Dengan membandingkan antara Fikih Ja’fari (Syiah) dan Fikih Hanafi (Sunni), tulisan ini mencoba menemukan titik temu Sunni-Syiah dalam persoalan syariatnya.

Abstract

Marriage can be a bridge to the happiness of every culprit, if marriage is based on voluntary, compassionate, mutual protection. But it can also be a bridge of destruction if marriage is done with mere compulsion. The coercion of parents or one of the parents of their children to marry someone whom the child does not want is including psychological violence in the household. Violations of the rights of women in choosing their husbands and mates, which we have often heard is a tyranny, deprives them of their rights, seizes their special decisions, and does not include them in determining the most important choices in their lives.

Abstract

Wakaf is one of the philanthropic institutions of Islam that can reliably support the social justice agenda, especially among the Islamic community. He is one way of using the treasures recommended by Allah SWT and Prophet Muhammad SAW, wakaf has been implemented since the time of the current Rosuluh with a wider form that is not only waqf in the form of non-asset but also wakaf in the form of money that is commonly known as waqf money / cash waqf. Therefore, the writer tries to eradicate the law in conveying the money of obedient scholars syafi'iyah and ulama hanafiah thus giving more understand to us about law and benefit of cash waqf. Wakaf adalah salah satu lembaga filantropis Islam yang dapat dipercaya mendukung agenda keadilan sosial, terutama di kalangan masyarakat Islam. Ia adalah salah satu cara menggunakan harta yang direkomendasikan oleh Allah SWT dan Nabi Muhammad SAW, wakaf telah diterapkan sejak masa Rosuluh saat ini dengan bentuk yang lebih luas yaitu tidak hanya wakaf dalam bentuk non-aset tetapi juga wakaf dalam bentuk dari uang yang biasa dikenal dengan uang wakaf / wakaf tunai. Oleh karena itu, penulis mencoba untuk memberantas hukum dalam menyampaikan uang para ulama syafi'iyah dan ulama hanafiah sehingga memberikan lebih banyak pemahaman kepada kita tentang hukum dan manfaat wakaf tunai.

Abstract

Qur’an is the infallible Word of God and since its inception in the world of Space and Time its immutability has been proven time and again. In all the fields of Knowledge it proved to be a miracle of the Divine. Its literary quality is unparalleled and its teachings are the ultimate remedy for the ailments of mankind. Though it’s not a book of empirical sciences, we still can find much compatibility of its contents with the modern established scientific theories. Some verses of the Qur’an are much similar to the observational theories of cosmology and biology that the likeness deems it impossible to be a work of any man of the 7th century. In this paper I have tried to compare some Qur’anic verses with some of the important theories of modern Cosmology like the Big Bang theory and expansion of the Universe. I have also brought the modern observational knowledge of embryology as being compatible with many verses dealing with same subject of the evolution of embryo into fetus and the stages of a baby inside a mother’s womb. Qur’an is a fascinating book which at the one hand satisfies the spiritual quest of the mystically inclined and on the other hand gives rational satisfaction to a scientifically minded rationalist. It is for a common layman and for a philosopher as well. It is the guideline for the social, economic and political endeavors of man and a complete religious treatise as well. We can rightly assume that the precise scientific hints in the Holy Qur’an is a part of much studies ‘Ijaz ul Qur’an and there is no harm in making science as a tool in presenting and sharing Islam with Humanity. It is a part of argumentative polemics and a defense of Faith and many scholars use this methodology in Da’wah work all over the world. It is also important because scientific method is the most dominant method in the present world and this method can be used to combat the philosophical materialism and atheistic ideologies.
