Abstract

Multicultural education is a deliberate attempt to construct human beings who will participate in society as productive citizens. The learning about Islamic religious education has an important role to inculcate multiculturalism values to students which based on holly Quran and hadis in order to be able to create faithful and devoted students to the Almighty God. Besides, the objective of implementation of multiculturalism values in the learning of Islamic religious education is so that students can become civil society that have competence of noble action and be able to actualize it in personal and social life. The success of multicultural education is students marked by differences in culture, race, ethnicity, and religion, so that achieve the equality and a sense of justice, the implementation of multicultural education offers the alternative through the application of strategies and concepts of education based on diversity utilization in the school environment. The multicultural approach is an educational strategy that utilizes the diversity of cultural backgrounds of students as one of the strengths to shape multicultural attitudes. The contribute of this research is to provide thought contributions to teachers and education practitioners about the implementation of multicultural education by utilizing Islamic education education.

Abstract

The article aims to describe the essence of inductive method in Islamic education learning. The learning will run optimally if the teacher utilize the suitable approach and method.Traditional engineering instruction is deductive, beginning with theories and progressing to applications of those theories. Alternative teaching approaches are more inductive. The Islamic education learning should be utilized the inductive method. Topics are introduced by presenting specific observations, case studies or problems, and theories are taught or the students are helped to discover them only after the need to know them has been established. Factually, in modern era the Islamic education learning must be innovated for answering the globalization demand.

Abstract

Penulisan artikel ilmiah ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana hubungan antara pendidik dengan peserta didik dalam perspektif al-Qur’an. Dalam penulisan karya ilmiah ini penulis mengambil referensi terkait dengan tema tulisan ini, kemudian penulis analisa berdasarkan tafsir al-Quran. Dalam penulisan ini penulis menggunakan metode kualitatif, dengan cara analisis deksriptif dan argumentatif. Hasil daripada pembahasan ini adalah terdapat hubungan antara pendidik dan peserta didik dalam al-Quran, terutama pada surat Al-Kahfi ayat 60-82, ada adab interaksi antara peserta didik terhadap pendidik yaitu belajar dengan niat ibadah karena Allah Swt, kesungguhan dan semangat yang kuat dalam menuntut ilmu, jujur dan bertanggung jawab, memperlihatkan keseriusan dengan ungkapan sopan dan tawadhu‟, memposisikan diri sebagai seseorang yang membutuhkan ilmu, menghormati pendidik, dan menepati kontrak belajar yang sudah disepakati. Dalam surat al-kahfi 60-82 hubungan antara pendidik terhadap peserta didiknya terdapat adab interaksi pendidik dengan peserta didik yaitu memiliki asisten sebagai pengganti saat pendidik tidak dapat hadir, melakukan tes minat dan bakat, melakukan kontrak belajar dengan peserta didik, memberikan hukuman kepada peserta didik sesuai dengan pelanggaran yang telah dilakukan, menjelaskan suatu pelajaran secara bertahap, menjelaskan hikmah (pengetahuan irfani) dibalik fakta atau fenomena (pengetahuan empiris) kepada peserta didik.

Abstract

Islamic Education is an important part of the education system in Indonesia. The field  study has important responsibilities in constructing the student character. In the learning process of Islamic Education the teachers must have good competence in the process of planning, implementing, and evaluating learning. To improve the learning evaluation system the first thing a teacher must do is improve the process first. Assessment in learning Islamic  education must touch at least the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. Educational evaluation is also the domain of educational technology. The domain is certainly inseparable from other domains, namely design, development, use (utilization) and management (management). Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi hakikat pendidikan karakter dalam perspektif Islam. Berdasarkan fakta yang terjadi, pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter memang menjadi kebutuhan untuk membangun bangsa Indonesia dari krisis karakter. Islam adalah agama yang universal dan sangat memperhatikan berbagai aspek kehidupan. Oleh karena itu, Islam telah memberikan konstribusi terhadap pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter yang bersumber pada Alquran dan hadis. Ruh dari pendidikan karakter berdasarkan perspektif ajaran Islam terletak pada keteladanan sebagaimana yang telah dicontohkan Nabi Muhammad SAW dalam membangun masyarakat Mekah dan Madinah dari krisis moral.

Abstract

Penulisan artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi(1) perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan penilaian pendidikan karakter berbasis kultur sekolah dalam pembelajaran IPS, dan (2) peran kultur sekolah dalam pendidikan karakter. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi kasus. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala sekola, guru, dan siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa (1) pada proses perencanaan sekolah memiliki program pengembangan kultur sekolah untuk mengimplementasikan  nilai-nilai karakter siswa yang diaktualisasikan melalui kegiatan pembelajaran; (2) pada proses pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter diaktualisasikan dengan memberi keteladanan, menegur, memberi tahu, memberi sangsi, dan memberi tugas melalui pendekatan dan metode yang komprehensif; (3) berdasarkan hasil penilaian menunjukan bahwa nilai-nilai karakter yang telah diaktualisasikan dengan baik dalam perilaku sehari-hari siswa di SMP N2 Juntinyuat  adalah demokrasi, religius, kerja sama, peduli sosial, rasa hormat, dan tanggung jawab; dan (4) peran kultur sekolah meliputi tiga aspek pokok yaitu persepsi mengenai suasana sekolah, perilaku murid, dan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah.Kata kunci: pendidikan karakter, kultur sekolah, pembelajaran IPS. THE ACTUALIZATION OF CHARACTER EDUCATION BASED ON SCHOOL CULTURE IN SOCIAL STUDIES LEARNING IN JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOLAbstractThe article written is aimed to identify (1)planing, implementing, and assessing the character education based on school culture in social studies learning, and (2) the role of school culture in character education. The study was pursued the case study. The subjects were the principal, teachers, and students. The results showed that (1) in the process of planning the school has the development program of school culture to implement student character values which actualized through  learning activities; (2) in the implementation of character education actualized by giving good example, admonition, notification, punishment, and task; (3) based on assessing result showed that  the character values that have been actualized in the daily behavior of the students of SMP N2 Juntinyuat are democracy values, religious, cooperation, social care, respect/honor, and responsible; and (4) the role of school culture was described in three main aspects, those are the perception of school atmosphere, the behavior of the student, and management of headmaster.Keywords: character education, school culture, and social studies learning

Abstract

This article aims to investigate the process of implementation of character education within the learning curriculum. The essence of implementation of character education within formal education involves various parties simultaneously. The research method conducted is a qualitative approach with case study type. Data collection techniques were interviews, observation, and study of documentation. The results showed that the implementation of character education is the responsibility of all subjects that have been programmed through core competencies, the implementation of character education is carried out through exemplary and habituation processes, evaluation of character education is carried out by the test and non-test methods. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi proses implementasi pendidikan karakter berbasis nilai-nilai ajaran Islam dalam kurikulum pembelajaran. Pada esensinya pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter dalam pendidikan formal melibatkan berbagai pihak secara simultan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualittif dengan jenis studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa implementasi pendidikan karakter menjadi tanggung jawab semua mata pelajaran yang sudah terprogram melalui kompetensi inti, pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter dilakukan melalui proses keteladanan dan pembiasaan, evaluasi pendidikan karakter dilakukan dengan metode test dan non test.
