Abstract

This study analyzes the effects of the policy interest rate, money supply, government expenditure, foreign direct investment, domestic investment, exports, and imports on Indonesia’s economic growth. The model is estimated by ordinary least squares (OLS) using annual time-series data for 1998–2022. The results show that money supply and imports have a positive and significant effect on GDP, whereas government expenditure and exports have a negative and significant effect. The interest rate, foreign direct investment, and domestic investment are insignificant. The estimated model satisfies tests for residual normality, no autocorrelation, homoscedasticity, and linearity, but several regressors exhibit multicollinearity. The evidence suggests that output over the sample period is more closely associated with liquidity and the composition of trade than with the policy rate or recorded investment flows. The policy implication is to raise the efficiency of public spending, diversify exports away from primary commodities, and steer imports toward intermediate inputs and capital goods, while keeping monetary liquidity supportive without generating inflation. The main limitations are the small sample, mixed units of measurement, and the risk of spurious regression in level time-series estimates.

Abstract

This study examines the effects of internship experience, self-efficacy, and employability skills on the work readiness of students in the Certified Internship and Independent Study (MSIB) Batch 7 program at Universitas Riau. A quantitative approach was applied to 100 students who completed the program in 2024. The entire population was included through saturated sampling. Primary data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed with multiple linear regression in SPSS 26. The results show that internship experience, self-efficacy, and employability skills have positive and significant effects on work readiness, both simultaneously and partially. Employability skills is the most dominant predictor. The R² value of 0.312 and the adjusted R² of 0.291 indicate that the three independent variables explain 29.1% of the variance in work readiness, while the remaining 70.9% is influenced by factors outside the model. The findings highlight the need to design internships as a human resource development program that strengthens students’ self-belief and workplace skills.

Abstract

Local own-source revenue (PAD) is a key indicator of fiscal autonomy under regional decentralization. This study examines the effects of gross regional domestic product (GRDP), inflation, government expenditure, population, and foreign direct investment (FDI) on PAD in Jambi Province from 2003 to 2025. A causal quantitative design is applied using annual time-series data from Statistics Indonesia and related agencies. The analysis employs a double-log multiple linear regression model. Partially, population has a positive and significant effect on PAD, while government expenditure is significant but negative. GRDP, inflation, and FDI are insignificant at the 5 percent level. Simultaneously, the five variables significantly affect PAD, with an R² of 98.25 percent. The findings indicate that PAD in Jambi is more sensitive to the expansion of the demographic tax base than to output size or FDI inflows, and that larger public spending does not automatically raise own-source revenue. The Jambi Provincial Government should strengthen population-based tax administration, improve the composition of spending, and link economic growth and FDI to local tax objects within the framework of the HKPD Law.

Abstract

This study examines the effects of environmental concern, attitude, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control on green purchase intention among Generation Z in DKI Jakarta. The analysis is grounded in an extended Theory of Planned Behavior that incorporates environmental concern. A quantitative associative design was applied to 180 respondents selected through purposive sampling via an online questionnaire. The data were analyzed using PLS-SEM in SmartPLS 4. The results show that all four variables have positive and significant effects on purchase intention. Attitude is the strongest predictor, followed by environmental concern, perceived behavioral control, and subjective norms. The model explains 57.1% of the variance in purchase intention, indicating moderate explanatory power. The findings suggest that green purchase intention among urban Generation Z consumers is driven more by personal evaluation and environmental concern than by social pressure. The study offers implications for marketers and policymakers seeking to strengthen product benefits, purchase accessibility, and education for sustainable consumption.

Abstract

Entrepreneurial mothers (mompreneurs) fulfill domestic responsibilities while managing micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to support household finances. Dual-role demands may strain psychological well-being and are associated with business performance. This study examined the relationship between psychological well-being (PWB) and entrepreneurial performance (EP) among mothers who run MSMEs in Bandung City, Indonesia. A quantitative cross-sectional correlational design was applied to 86 mompreneurs recruited through convenience sampling. PWB was measured with the 42-item Ryff’s Psychological Well-Being Scale ( ) and EP with the 12-item Entrepreneurial Performance Questionnaire ( ). Both variables were normally distributed. Pearson correlation indicated a significant positive association between PWB and EP ( , p < 0.01). Comparative analyses showed PWB differences by educational attainment and differences in both PWB and EP by monthly business income. The findings are associational and indicate that higher psychological well-being is related to better entrepreneurial performance. MSME mentoring for women should treat psychological health as part of a strategy to improve business performance.

Abstract

This study examines the effects of the non-physical work environment and workload on turnover intention, with employee engagement as a mediating variable, among Generation Z employees in the banking industry in Banjarmasin. An explanatory quantitative design was applied through a survey of 180 respondents selected by purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) in SmartPLS 4. The results show that workload has a significant negative effect on employee engagement and a significant positive effect on turnover intention. The non-physical work environment has a significant positive effect on employee engagement and a significant negative effect on turnover intention. Employee engagement has a significant negative effect on turnover intention and partially mediates the relationships of both workload and the non-physical work environment with turnover intention. The model explains 46.6% of the variance in employee engagement and 66.1% of the variance in turnover intention. These findings indicate that retaining Generation Z employees in banking requires more than reducing job demands; it also requires a supportive work environment and sustained employee engagement.

Abstract

This study examines the conformity of the process and substance of the state-loss calculation audit (PKKN) of the Education Digitization Program at the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology for 2020–2022. A qualitative case study is employed through document analysis of the BPKP audit report, indictment, prosecutorial demands, court judgment, and public-sector auditing standards. Pattern matching is applied across seven dimensions: independence, assignment timing, predication, reporting entity, causality, valuation method, and use of audit results. The findings show that the BPKP audit amount of IDR 1,567,888,662,716.74 was accepted by the court of first instance as a methodologically valid calculation of overpricing, while restitution was limited to assets deemed obtained from the offense. The audit process was only partially compliant because of threats to independence in appearance, an assignment issued at the investigation stage, and weak predication relative to prior compliance audits. The audit substance disaggregates losses by year and by APBN–APBD sources, yet fair value was derived from assumed margins, causality remained aggregated, and audit figures were used beyond their function as a measure of price variance. The study implies the need to harmonize PKKN standards, establish a hierarchy of valuation evidence for goods procurement, and distinguish state loss, third-party benefit, and additional criminal restitution.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of assets, third-party funds (DPK), and financing on the net income of Bank Jambi Sharia Business Unit from the first quarter of 2013 to the fourth quarter of 2025. A quantitative associative design is applied to 52 quarterly observations. Given the time-series nature of the data and the mixed order of integration, the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) approach is employed. The Augmented Dickey-Fuller test shows that net income and DPK are I(0), while assets and financing are I(1). The AIC-selected specification is ARDL(2,0,0,4), with 48 observations after lag adjustment. Assets are positively and significantly associated with net income (coefficient 1.696177; p = 0.0093). Contemporaneous DPK is insignificant (coefficient −0.131941; p = 0.5962). Financing is negative and significant contemporaneously (coefficient −2.080917; p = 0.0481) but positive and significant at lag 4 (coefficient 3.314358; p = 0.0013). The bounds-test F-statistic of 13.70197 exceeds the 1 percent upper bound, indicating long-run cointegration. The ARDL R-squared is 0.539810. The results suggest that asset scale is associated with profit, whereas the contribution of financing appears with a delay of about four quarters.

Abstract

Digital technology has changed the way Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) manage their finances. However, limited digital financial literacy and financial access remain barriers to improved financial performance. This study examines the effects of digital financial literacy and financial access on financial performance, the moderating role of financial access, and differences in the digital financial literacy–performance relationship by participation in financial training. A quantitative survey of 288 MSME owners in Surakarta was analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4.0. The results show that digital financial literacy (β = 0.535; p < 0.001) and financial access (β = 0.449; p < 0.001) have positive and significant effects on financial performance. Their interaction is also significant (β = 0.132; p = 0.001), indicating that financial access strengthens the effect of digital financial literacy. Multi-Group Analysis shows a stronger effect among trained MSMEs (β = 0.607) than among untrained MSMEs (β = 0.152). The findings suggest that digital financial knowledge, access to financial services, and training function as complementary resources for improving MSME financial performance.

Abstract

Competition in the food and beverage industry places nationally scaled brands and local brands in the same perceptual arena among young consumers. This study examines differences in consumer perceptions of product quality, promotional strategy, and physical evidence between national and local F&B brands among Millennials and Generation Z in Pekanbaru City. A paired quantitative comparative design was employed. A purposive sample of 300 respondents (150 Millennials and 150 Generation Z) who had purchased from and visited both brand groups in matched product categories was surveyed. Three category pairs were aggregated: bakery (Holland Bakery and Vanhollano Bakery), coffee shop (Kopi Kenangan and Leton Coffee), and fast food (Richeese Factory and RG Fried Chicken). Likert-scale data were analyzed using validity, reliability, and Shapiro–Wilk tests, followed by paired-sample t-tests or Wilcoxon signed-rank tests. Product quality did not differ significantly in either cohort. Promotional strategy differed significantly only among Millennials, whereas physical evidence differed significantly in both generations. The findings indicate that perceptual gaps are more evident in marketing communication and store physical evidence than in product quality, and that the pattern of differences varies by generational characteristics.
