Abstract

The SARS-CoV-2 virus causes the infectious disease COVID-19. This virus can be transmitted via the fomite mode of transmission (the surface of objects contaminated with the virus). It is possible to prevent the spread of COVID-19 by spraying disinfectant on infected objects. This research aims to develop a mathematical model of COVID-19 fomite transmission with disinfectant spraying intervention. The model was analyzed by determining its stability and critical point. A Ro analysis was conducted to determine the impact of disinfectant spraying on the eradication or spread of the disease. The results demonstrated that, in the absence of disinfectant spraying, the number of infected humans increased rapidly and abruptly. Based on the findings of sensitivity analysis, it is known that spraying disinfectants is highly effective at reducing Ro, thereby reducing the number of infected humans and eradicating the disease from the population. In this study, the recommended measure to prevent the spread of COVID-19 is the periodic application of disinfectant in accordance with medical regulations.

Abstract

The gradient adjustment process is used to create a dynamic model of banking loan. The sign of the loan’s marginal profit determines how much money will be loaned in the future. In this research, using bifurcation theory, we investigate the cost of loan in the dynamics of a bank’s loan. The results of the analysis indicate that the stability of the loan equilibrium might be impacted by the cost of loan. Loan equilibrium may become unstable through transcritical bifurcation if the cost of the loan is sufficiently high. The loan equilibrium may become unstable through flip bifurcation and path to chaos, however, if the cost of loan is too low. If the cost of loan lies between the bifurcation values, the loan equilibrium is stable. The numerical simulations back up these conclusions. Additionally, we display the Lyapunov exponent graph, which shows the presence of chaos, and the chaotic loan graph, which is sensitive to the initial condition.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to find the controlled factors affecting the mass density of the combined Al2O3/Cu. All experiments were carried out using powder metallurgy. Experiments were carried out with four controllable powder processing parameters, namely milling time, compaction pressure, sintering temperature, and holding time. The L18 mixed-level Taguchi Orthogonal Array was used for experimental because it is the basis for the analysis of the Taguchi method. In this research, statistical analysis is carried out using GRA with PCA and Quality Loss Function. The result was the best model based on the Quality Loss Function, because the method has the biggest determination coefficient value is 99,97% where the results is better than GRA with PCA. From the main effect table study, the optimal combination of parameters for response: mass density and hardness are A2B3C3D2 powder metallurgical process parameters, namely milling time of 360 minutes, compacting powder of 200 MPa, sintering of 7000C, and holding time of 20 minutes. The ANOVA results show that the compaction pressure has the most influential parameter that affects the response. The percentage contribution of compaction pressure is 87.09%. Based on ANOVA, the R-squared value is 99.97%, which means the tested factor variables can explain the density of the Al2O3/Cu composite by 99.70%. Therefore, only 18 experimental trials are needed to discover the reality of what will happen in the process.

Abstract

The development of underwater defense technology is commonly related to its usage for security and defense of a country. The need of NKRI (the Republic of Indonesia) for an applicable and multifunctional technology for highly improved unmanned submarines is urgent considering the current necessity of unmanned technology modernization functioning as The Main Weapon System Equipments (ALUTSISTA) to be applied as a spy technology or automatic weapon. This paper focus is on a motion control system design with the motion equation of 2 Degree of Freedom (DOF) applied to an unmanned submarine system or also called a Remote Operated Vehicle (ROV). ROV requires a control system to control its maneuvering motion when underwater, especially in a straight line motion. The ROV motion equation of 2-DOF consisting of surge and roll motions is in the form of a nonlinear equation. The system control design applied to the ROV system used the Proportional Controller method combined with Sliding Mode Control. The simulation results of the Proportional SMC control system with the motion equation of 2-DOF on the ROV system show that the system is stable with an accuracy of surge and roll motions of 95% - 99%.

Abstract

This research develops an optimal control as an effort to push down the widely of Covid-19 with a mathematical model. Where, the problem of optimal control is conducted by adding three control variables, i.e an effort to avoid direct contact between the susceptible populations without masks and the infected populations without masks, and the thoughtfulness of a mask-wearing policy. The primary goal of optimal control is to minimize the infected populations without and with masks, and minimize the cost of weight control. Furthermore, if it applies Pontryagin's principle and discovers the Hamiltonian function, then optimal control conditions for the COVID-19 approximation are determined. Finally, as an addition to the model analysis results, numerical simulations are conducted to represent the solutions behavior of each subpopulation before and after the control was designed.

Abstract

In ring and module theory, the concept of an exact sequence is commonly employed. The exact sequence is generalized into the U-exact sequence and the V-coexact sequence. Rough set theory has also been applied to a variety of algebraic structures, including groups, rings, modules, and others. In this study, we investigated characteristics of a rough V-coexact sequence in rough groups

Abstract

Post-stroke is a stage a patient undergoes if the patient has had a previous stroke. Stroke is a big and serious problem. As the second most common cause of disability of people at age of over 60 years. For patients having experienced a stroke, rehabilitation is a way to make them able to do activities of daily living as before. Stroke Rehabilitation is a comprehensive medical management and rehabilitation (in medical, emotional, social, and vocational aspects) concerning disabilities caused by stroke through a neuro-rehabilitation approach with the aim of optimizing recovery. The finger prosthetic arm robot is one of the results of the health technology development to help accelerate the rehabilitation process specifically for finger movements. One of the efforts to develop a finger robot is to estimate the movement of the fingers, in this case the finger size used is taken from those of Javanese people in Indonesia as the data to be simulated. In this paper is an estimation of the finger motion, particularly that of the third finger of the right hand, conducted using the Ensemble Kalman Filter (EnKF) method. The simulation results produced the third finger motion estimates with an accuracy of around 92% - 99%.

Abstract

Crystal guava is one of Indonesia's flora diversity. The rind of the unripe crystal guava fruit is green, and the rind of the ripe crystal guava fruit is yellowish green. However, it is difficult to determine the ripeness of crystal guava due to the similar color of the fruit skin. Determining fruit ripeness is uncertain and therefore requires a way to deal with this uncertainty. One of the methods you can use is fuzzy Mamdani. In this study, the ripeness level of crystal guava is determined using fuzzy Mamdani. Crystal guava fruits fall into four ripeness categories: raw, half ripe, ripe, and very ripe. The data used is in the form of an RGB image separated from the background so that only crystal guava fruit objects are captured. The image of the fruit object was then extracted by looking for the median red, green, and blue at each pixel of the image. This value is used as input for the fuzzy Mamdani process. The fuzzy set and fuzzy rules that have been formed can be applied to determine the maturity level of crystal guava fruit by validating the results of 140 image data with an accuracy of 83,5%.

Abstract

Brinkmann graph is a 4-regular graph with 21 nodes and 42 edges discovered by Gunnar Brinkmann in 1992. To our knowledge, the research specifically on Brinkmann graph is still hard to find. Therefore, this research was carried out to analyze the Brinkmann graph in term of its centrality. The centrality measures used are degree, betweenness, and closeness centrality. In this paper, we presented the centrality measures not only on the Brinkmann graph but also on the Brinkmann graph after node deletion to see how the impact of node deletion to the centrality of graph. Before deletion, the results showed that according to the betweenness centrality, there exist 7 nodes who act as mediators or bridges in the Brinkmann graph. Therefore, when a node among these nodes has deleted, it affected not only any other mediator nodes and the furthest nodes from the deleted node but also the nodes that are adjacent to the deleted nodes.

Abstract

In this study, Akbari-Ganji’s Method (AGM) was applied to solve Volterra Integro-Differential Difference Equations (VIDDE) using Legendre polynomials as basis functions. Here, a trial solution function of unknown constants that conform with the differential equations together with the initial conditions were assumed and substituted into the equations under consideration. The unknown coefficients are solved for using the new proposed approach, AGM which principally involves the application of the boundary conditions on successive derivatives and integrals of the problem to obtain a system of equations. The system of equation is solved using any appropriate computer software, Maple 18. Some examples were solved and the results compared to the exact solutions.
