Abstract

The problem in this research is the low of mathematics learning result of fourth grader of SD Negeri 72 Pekanbaru with average 57,35 with KKM 70. The purpose of this study is to improve the results of learning mathematics class IV SD Negeri 72 Pekanbaru. This study was conducted in three cycles. In the process of thinking pair share learning, students are actively involved in the learning process, students exchange ideas and opinions in solving problems so that students can complete the task on time. The result of the research shows that there is an increase of mathematics learning result of fourth grade students of SD Negeri 72 Pekanbaru after the action is done in the form of learning with cooperative type think pair share (TPS) model. This can be seen from the students daily average score. Students learning outcomes before action are categorized as low on average 57.35, while in daily repeat cycle I 74.44, daily test cycle II with an average of 82.22, and daily repetition of cycle III with an average of 89.20. Percentage of teacher activity in cycle I 70,83%, with good category, cycle II 81,24%, with very good category, and cycle III 91,66%. While the percentage of student activity in cycle I 64,56% with good category, cycle II with percentage 81,24%, with very good category and cycle III 89,58% with very good category. Based on the results of research and analysis of the data, it can be concluded that the implementation of cooperative learning model type Think Pair Share (TPS) can improve student learning outcomes of grade IV SD Negeri 72 Pekanbaru.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of Model Talking Stick Co-operative Model can improve the learning outcomes of science on the material special features of animal class VI SDN 20 Pekanbaru. The subjects of this research are the students of class VI SDN 20 Pekanbaru academic year 2016. The number of research subjects are as many as 35 students. Techniques used to collect data in this study are tests, non-tests (Observation / observation, and documentation). This study was conducted by applying the Talking Stick Type Co-operative Model which has been done for two cycles, it can be concluded that the learning by applying the Talking Stick Type Co-operative Model has a positive impact in improving students learning outcomes in the science lesson on the material of special characteristics of animals with value the average student in Cycle I has achieved 88% good category while in Cycle II increased to 94% with very good category and the average value of teacher teacher Cycle I has reached good category 82% and Cycle II has increased to 91% with very good category. Conclusion that Application of Talking Stick Type Co-operative Model can improve science learning outcomes in material of special characteristic of animal of class VI SDN 20 Pekanbaru.

Abstract

This study aims to see the role of learning groups (POKJAR) in improving self-efficacy of elementary school teachers. Subjects were students (teacher / participants) POKJAR by the number of sampled as many as 171 people, who came from 5 POKJAR (Pakning, Air Molek, Sedinginan, Duri, and Chart). Selection of sample based on purposive random sampling. To obtain relevant data, the instruments used in this study are questionnaires and interview guidelines, which are arranged based on 4 indicators. The results showed that the self efficacy of teachers / participants in general showed good results. And there are 3 aspects that have the highest response or positive response (100%). Specifically, it asserts that the three aspects of teacher / participants to seriously follow the learning, felt confident of being able to follow the teaching in POKJAR because it can improve cognitive ability, confident that it can complete the task on time, and to resolve the matter of lectures and family issues wisely.

Abstract

Education as a vital part in creating a civilized man then Islam as the perfect religion which Allah has given the concept of living according denagn human nature. Both in creating perberadaban, or in pendidika. Then the position of Islamic education is as funnel setrategis in voicing the prophetic ideals (prophetic) in the enforcement of the human civilization and morals. While the condition of Islam ravaged in recent years, with the cultural divide in society, especially among the younger generation, that the development orientation of the material far beyond the speed of spiritual, moral, and social. due to cultural gaps that occur also experienced a loss of public civilization, culture and religion becomes drier as it has shades of power, so that religion is now more of a contestation and lost his spirit. So to respond to the problems the author tries to give a solution bid to restore menyudahinya through moral education through PAI lesson, heres a big goal of this paper. That the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) is one of the pillars of character education is the most important. Character education will grow well if starting from the religious soul embedded in children, therefore the material PAI school became one of the supporting character education. Through pembelajaaran PAI students are taught aqidah as the basis of religious, taught the Koran and the Hadith as a guide to life, taught jurisprudence as safeguards established in worship, teaching the history of Islam as a keteladan life, and teach morals to guide human behavior whether in either category or bad. Therefore, the main purpose of the Learning PAI is the formation of the personality of the student are reflected in behavior and thought patterns in everyday life. In addition, successful learning in school PAI one of which is also determined by the application of appropriate learning methods.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the number of students who have difficulty in performing arithmetic operations on the fractional material in the context of the story of a story that strengthens the students to be able to solve these problems. This can be implemented in many ways that provide only limited explanations. This study was conducted on PGSD students who are prospective elementary school teachers who will teach elementary school students, so it can be used as a benchmark to determine the success and weakness of students in completing the subjects of elementary school mathematics. Method of modeling the use of ways to overcome problems that exist in everyday life. This study was conducted in the odd semester of 2016/2017. The subject of this research is PGSD student of FKIP Universitas Riau in third semester (student of class of 2015). The design of this study was quasi experimental nonequivalent control group, because the respondents in this study were not randomly selected, the researchers used the existing classes. The active ability of students of PGSD FKIP University of Riau on fractions through model approach of improvement method can be proved by the improvement of students ability of PGSD FKIP Universitas Riau from average pretest score 53,30 to 70,69 on average of posttest score, with an average score increase of 0.37 in the medium category.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of integrated learning and cognitive style on learning outcomes of IPS students, integrated learning is a model of spider webs (webbed) and a model connected (connected) while the cognitive style consists of field dependent and field independent. This research was conducted in class IVa, IVb Elementary School 03 am Jakata Cawang East semester academic year 2013/2014. The study involved 68 students in the sample were selected grouping rough. Data collected using the instrument in the form of multiple-choice tests .The data obtained was analyzed using Two Way ANAVA method. The study revealed the following conclusions: (1) The results of social studies taught a group of students learning model cobwebs (webbed) students are taught higher connectednes s model (connected), (2) learning outcomes IPS group of students who have cognitive style field dependent higher than the group of students who choose a field independent cognitive styles. (3)There is an interaction effect between the use of an integrated model of learning and cognitive style on learning outcomes IPS. (4)For groups of students are given learning model cobwebs (webbed), learning outcomes between students who have a field-dependent cognitive style higher than in the group of students who have a field-independent cognitive styles. (5) For a given group of students learning model model of connectedness (connected), IPS learning outcomes between students who have a field-dependent cognitive style higher than the students who have the cognitive style field-independet. (6) For students who have cognitive style dependet, social studies outcomes between groups of students are given learning model cobwebs (webbed) is higher than that given to the student learning model of connectedness (connected). (7) For a group of students who have a field-dependent cognitive style, learning outcomes between students who are awarded IPS learning model cobwebs (webbed) is higher than that given to the student learning model of connectedness (connected)

Abstract

This research is based on the low level of students ability in listening to childrens story. The purpose of this study is to improve the ability to listen to childrens stories that include using the method of Sociodrama (Role Playing) students of class V SDN 96 Pekanbaru. This research was conducted in class V SDN 96 Pekanbaru with 33 students, 13 men and 20 women. This study uses classroom action research methods conducted in 2 (two) cycles with 4 (four) stages: planning, action, observation and reflection as a basis for re-planning in the next cycle. The ability to listen to childrens stories obtained from preliminary data is with a percentage of 51.51% who complete a score above 65 according to KKM standards. After applying the first role cycle method I with the percentage 63,63%, second meeting of cycle I with the percentage 75,75%, second meeting of cycle II with the percentage 84,84%. Based on the results of research can be concluded that the application of methods of sociodrama (role playing) in learning Indonesian language can improve the ability to listen to childrens stories on students V SD Negeri 96 Pekanbaru can be accepted

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education is a complex and comprehensive education touches the whole area of education. Rahmatan Lil’alamien. Islamic Religious Education does not just take the discourse on religious knowladge course material to students, but also to guide students to behave in accordance with the values taught by religion that promotes akhlakul karimah or noble character as the basic behaviour that should be owned by the learner. The position of Isla,mic religious education among other subjects at school is as the core in the nationa education curriculum. Therefore in practice in the field should be about [roviding transparency understanding and application process, thus giving birth to attitudes and behaviors that are inclusive and positioned equivalent to other subbjects or even prioritized. For it puts the subjects os islamic religious education as a core subject in the school curriculum is a need and a necessity. This is an intelligent effort to strengthen forms of islamic religious education in the school curruculum. So, Islamic religious education covers all aspects of integrated subjects in knowladge, attitudes, behaviour, and social interaction. Islamic religious education is more oriented to the moral level of action, namely that learners do not just stop at the level of competence, but to have the will, and habit, in realizing the teachings and values of the islamic religion in everyday life.

Abstract

Prospects local knowledge is very dependent on how communities preserve local wisdom back and how people change their mindset back to the holistic mindset. So that the natural resources and the natural environment in the communities can be utilized and preserved without disturbing the balance. Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture, Number 54 of 2013 on competency standards primary and secondary education. Stated that graduates SD / MI / SDLB / Package A has the attitude, knowledge and skills. Elementary school age (approximately ages 6-12) is an important stage in the implementation of character education, even fundamental to the success of the character development of students. Children are a national asset that needs to be saved. Since early need to be introduced on ethical values, moral values are high, through the activities of cultural preservation of their local or regional culture. It is unfortunate if only the pursuit of academic education only. Though the success of education must be balanced between academic and non-academic.

Abstract

This research is an effort in improving the achievement of third grade students of SD Negeri 18 Pekanbaru on the subjects of Social Science and Natural Environment IPS through three dimensional media. The subjects in this study were all students of class III SD Negeri 18 Pekanbaru which amounted to 28 students, consisting of 15 male students and 13 female students. This research applied three dimensional media at the time of IPS learning. The findings of this study indicate that through three-dimensional media can improve learning achievement IPS class III SD Negeri 18 Pekanbaru. Can be seen from the results of the discussion that is on the cycle to cycle I, the number of increasing number of students who reached KKM increased as many as 6 students or 21%. From cycle I to cycle II the number of students increasing KKM increased by 8 students or 29%. From cycle II to cycle III the number of students increasing reaching KKM increased by 6 students or 21%. The data show that there is an increase in learning achievement from cycle I, cycle II, and cycle III that is upgrading 20 students or 71.4%.
