Abstract

This research is a classroom action research with the aim to improve the learning outcomes of Natural Sciences students in grade VI SD Negeri 019 Bumi Ayu by applying the cooperative learning model numbered heads together (NHT). This research was conducted in two cycles consisting of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The results of the study showed, in the initial data that was completed as many as 12 students with classical completeness of 48% the category was incomplete. In the first cycle, student learning outcomes have increased with the number of students who completed to 18 students with classical completeness by 72% complete category. In the second cycle, student learning outcomes increased again to 23 students with a classical completeness of 92% complete category. it can be concluded that by implementing numbered heads together (NHT) learning can improve the learning outcomes of students of Class VI of Public Elementary School 019 Bumi Ayu

Abstract

This research is motivated by teacher-centered learning that caused the lack of student activity in solving problems and finding answers together. This research aims to improve mathematical collaborative skills and student learning outcomes through the application of a magic ball-assisted group investigation learning model. The subject of the research was a classroom action research study on third grade students at SDN 008 Talang Perigi. The instrument used was the observation sheet and learning outcomes test. The results showed in the first cycle of collaborative mathematical skills students obtained an average of 55.77% with a high category and in the second cycle increased to 73.44% with a very high category. Student learning outcomes in the first cycle had an average of 67.83 with a percentage of classical completeness of 53%, increasing in the second cycle to 75.67 with a percentage of classical completeness of 83%. Based on the findings, it can be concluded that the application of the learning model of investigation ball assisted by magic ball can improve the collaborative skills of mathematics and learning outcomes of third grade students of SDN 008 Talang Perigi.

Abstract

The aim of this classroom action research was to improve problem solving skills of the fourth grade students at Sekolah Dasar Negeri 2 Lambangan through the implementation of Problem-Based Learning model assisted by square puzzle media. This research involved 19 students as the subjects. This research was conducted in 2 cycles; each cycle consisted of 4 stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The independent variable in this study was a Problem-Based Learning model assisted by the square puzzle media. After that, the dependent variable was problem solving abilities. Data were collected through interviews and tests. The interviews were carried out to determine students’ interest in learning mathematics while the test was carried out to measure students’ mathematical problem solving abilities. Then, the data were analyzed quantitatively. The results showed that there was an increase on problem solving abilities in cycles I and II. The percentage of classical learning completeness increased from 63.15%, in cycle I, to 84.21%, in cycle II. The increase in problem solving abilities was caused by the implementation of Problem-Based Learning model which was student-centered. This model encouraged students to take an active role in problem solving activities. Besides, it was also supported by the use of square puzzle media which made it easier for students to build their understanding towards the materials about circumference and area of a two-dimentional figures (square and rectangle).

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis background of research is students who experience barriers to learning This study aims to determine the factors that influence students intrinsic learning motivation and the factors that most influence student motivation to learn. This research was conducted in class V Elementary School in Cluster 1 Payung Sekaki district Pekanbaru city. Based  on the results of the study, it was found that the factors that influence students intrinsic motivation consist of ideals, student ability, student condition factor and dynamic elements. On ideals factors include active learning to achieve goals, the desire to succeed in learning and need for learning. In the factors of students abilities, including working alone, it is difficult to understand the material presented and dare to express opinions. On the factors of student conditions include enthusiasm in learning, discipline in learning, physical of students and spiritual condition of students. On Dynamic elements include high willingness, attention of learning, positive views in learning and students feelings toward learning. So, the factors that influence the intrinsic motivation of learn class V of Primary School Se-Gugus 1 of Payung Sekaki district , Pekanbaru city are the ideals which affect  7,565%.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the low willingness of students to take part in learning soccer games so that most students do not master the basic techniques of playing football, especially in kicking with the inner leg, of 20 students only around 35% - 45% who are able to kick with the inner leg is good and the rest still have not reached the minimum classical completeness that has been determined which is 77, besides that many students pay less attention when the teacher explains the technical material in the game of football. The purpose of this study was to improve the ability to kick with the inner leg of a student's soccer game. The results showed that the average value of the ability of students before the cycle was categorized as quite competent with the percentage of completeness 70.82% (35.00%, complete 7 people). In the first cycle kicking with the inner leg using a variety of exercises the average ability of students increases with the competent category with the percentage of completeness 77.48% (60.00%, complete 12 people), it shows that students like the variety of exercises taught by the teacher, but the value the average has not reached the specified completeness which is 80%. While in the second cycle the average ability of students was categorized as competent with a percentage of completeness of 87.13% (90.00%, completed 18 people) which showed that classical completeness had been achieved which was determined in this study, namely 80%. This means that the method of effective training variations to improve the ability to kick with the inner leg of the football game of class V-B even semester SDN 004 Teratak Buluh.

Abstract

The research is aimed to know the process of learning the skills to write articles by students PBSI VI semester University Hasyim Ashari thorough approach to the process, barriers s ver the process of learning as well as the effectiveness of the approach to the process in the process of learning to write. Research is shortly g using design PTK with 2 cycles. The results of the research are, first, the learning process runs according to the plans that have been prepared. In cycle 1 consists of planning, implementation ( introduction, core, and closing ), while in cycle II, it consists of re-planning and implementation ( introduction, core, and closing ). The results of the second, namely, the barriers were experienced among which several references have not been prepared by lecturers, students who arrive late, students who are not active in disguise group, indoor heat, sound noisy at the outside of class. These obstacles are not the same every cycle. Third,  the process approach is proven to be able to improve students' abilities in making scientific articles. Through the approach of the process, how to write the students more focused and gradual. This increase can be proven from the average value of the class which was originally 55 in the initial condition to 75 in the first cycle and 80 in the second cycle.

Abstract

Mathematics is a study that has an abstract object and is built through a process of deductive reasoning which the truth of a concept is obtained as a logical consequence of the truth previously accepted so that the relationship between concepts in mathematics is very strong and clear. In the implementation of the teaching and learning process of Mathematics in elementary schools, the various methods are used and adapted to the material presented by educators or teachers. It is intended if problems occur and difficulties in learning Mathematics will be easily solved. In this case the writer used the Guidance and Supervision by Principal's method. This school action research consisted of two cycles, namely cycle I and cycle 2. Where in each cycle consisted of action planning, action implementation, observation and reflection. This research was conducted in sixth grade students of SDN 137 Pekanbaru. The analysis technique was carried out qualitatively and quantitatively. This research aimed to improve student achievement in learning mathematics through guidance and supervision by principal. The results showed that with the supervision by principals had increased by 30%, the student learning outcomes averaged 62.66 to 85.33 by increasing student learning achievement. Thus, it can be concluded that with the guidance and supervision by principals can improve student learning achievement. Therefore, it is hoped that it will always improve the ability of its performance in learning so that the quality of education in schools increases.

Abstract

This research is based on the result of supervision that has been done in the teacher of Public SDN 007Kampung Baru Kecamatan Cerenti. the weakness of teachers in preparing the learning implementation plan liesin the integration of the material with the method, as well as the media used. Based on the findings of theexisting teachers still use the learning implementation plan which is downloaded from the internet then in editidentity while the contents of the lesson plan is not revised. So that the existing planning sometimes does notmatch what is done in the field. Another problem is the lack of teacher awareness of the importance of a plan inimplementing an action in learning. This research aims to improve the ability of teachers in mempuun learningimplementation plan. Improving the ability of teachers to choose appropriate methods in preparing the lessonplans. From the analysis of data seen In the components formulation of indikators of learning objectives, seen anincrease from 60% on initial ability, to 65% in cycle 1 and increased to 70% at the end of the activity. In thecomponent determination of learning strategies, there is an increase in ability from 65% to 70% after cycle 1and more strengthened to 80%. In the component selection of teaching learning materials, from the original65% increase is very significant to 85%. In the selection component Media and learning tools there is also anincrease from 70% at the beginning of activities and after cycle 1, to 75% after cycle 2. Looking at the data ofresearch findings in this school action research activity, it can be concluded that the academic supervisionconducted by the principal of 5 teachers who have no teacher education background, succeeded in increasingtheir pedagogic competence in developing learning planning.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low ability of low-tide volleyball students in grade IV SDN 027 Parit BaruKecamatan Tambang. This study aims to improve the ability of pasing under PJOK subject volleyball throughmodification of tools. The subjects of this study were all fourth grade students of SDN 027 Parit Baru,Kecamatan Tambang, totaling 20 people. The form of research is classroom action research. This researchinstrument consists of performance instruments and data collection instruments in the form of observation sheetsof teacher activities and student activities. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that the students'completeness before the action reached 40%, while the first cycle achieved completeness by 70% and in thesecond cycle the students' mastery increased to 85%, so that with this result the students' completeness hadreached 80% of the success in class actions. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that throughmodification of the tool can improve the ability to pass under the fourth grade students of SDN 027 Parit Baru,Kecamatan Tambang.

Abstract

The attitude of students' learning discipline at this time is very concerning. There are still many students who are notdisciplined in learning. This will certainly affect the knowledge and learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to findout whether there is a relationship between discipline in learning with the results of mathematics learning in fifth gradeelementary SD Gugus Anggrek Kecamatan Benai Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi and to find out the level of significancebetween the discipline in learning and the results of mathematics learning in fifth grade SD Gugus Anggrek KecamatanBenai Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi. This type of research is quantitative research with a causal correlation research design.The number of samples in this study amounted to 80 students. The sampling technique is using saturated sample technique.Data collectiontechniques using observation, documentation,and questionnaires. Data analysis uses descriptive statistics andinferential statistics. The results of this study indicate that there is a relationship between discipline in learning with theresults of mathematics learning in fifth grade SD Gugus Anggrek Kecamatan Benai Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi. Therelationship between discipline in learning and learning outcomes of Mathematics is equal to 0.385 included in the lowcategory. The determinant coefficient is 14.82%, meaning that the discipline of learning contributes 14.82% to the results oflearning mathematics. And the remaining 85.18% is contributed by other factors outside the discipline of learning variables.
