Abstract

A campus is the setting where politeness is educated and where the relationship between lecturers and students, and students to students should be well established. This case could lead to the development of society which is moving to a more advanced and modern one. Nowadays, there seems to be a disruption in classroom interaction where impolite utterances are more likely to be used. Based on researcher’s observation, there is a new awkwardness that female more produced the impolite utterances than male. This phenomenon can be found in daily classroom interaction where students perform impolite speech events. The objectives of the study was to find out the types of impoliteness strategies used by male and female students in classroom interaction. The study was descriptive qualitative. The subject of the study was class TI V Regular Sore of STMIK Pelita Nusantara which had been chosen randomly. The data of the study is the impolite utterances of transcripts which is recorded from the conversation in the classroom interaction. The data were identified, analyzed and categorized based on Culpeper’s (1996, 2003), Bousfield’s (2007), and Beebe’s (1995) theory. The findings of the study showed that there were five types of impoliteness strategy found in both data of male and female students, namely: bald on record impoliteness, positive impoliteness, negative impoliteness, sarcasm or mock politeness, and withhold politeness. Commonly male students is the more frequent produced impolite utterances than female students did. Based on the findings, it can be concluded that overall male and female students had equal chance to perform impoliteness in classroom interaction. Some suggestions are directed to those who are interested in understanding impoliteness strategy as found in practice.  Keywords: impoliteness strategies, male and female student, classroom interaction

Abstract

Meningkatnya kebutuhan teknologi mendorong manusia untuk mengembangkan teknologi baru agar pengolahan data dan informasi dapat dilakukan dengan mudah dan cepat. Salah satu teknologi yang sedang berkembang pesat saat ini adalah teknologi informasi, teknologi internet. Dengan adanya teknologi internet akan mempermudah dan mempercepat pencarian informasi, salah satu sumber informasi yang dapat dijadikan rujukan adalah website.Website atau situs dapat diartikan sebagai kumpulan halaman yang menampilkan informasi data teks, data gambar diam atau data gambar gerak, data animasi,suara,video dan gabungan dari semuanya baik yang bersifat statis maupun dinamis yang membentuk suatu rangkaian bangunan yang saling terkait dimana masing-masing dihubungkan dengan jarngan-jaringan halaman, pemanfaatan website banyak digunakan oleh perusahaan, lembaga pemerintahan, sekolah dan perguruan tinggi, salah satunya adalah perguruan tinggi STMIK Prabumulih.Saat ini STMIK Prabumulih telah mempunyai website namun website STMIK Prabumulih belum Responsive sehingga ketika diakses melaui berbagai macam flatform tampilan halaman website tidak dapat menyesuaikan dengan flatform tersebut, dengan demikian pengunjung website akan sedikit kesulitan karena tampilan websitenya monoton.

Abstract

Image retrieval system is a method used to extract image features and provides rules for comparing two images based on these characteristics. Several methods that can be used are Image Meta Search and Content-Based Image Retrieval (CBIR) methods. CBIR is an image search based on information contained in the image, for example searching for duck images, then entering the characteristics of the duck image and then based on these characteristics look for another image with similar features. Characteristics commonly used to help search for images include color, shape and texture features. In the design of this image retrieval application program, the characteristic used is the color feature. One method that can be used to calculate image characteristics is the Color Histogram Peaks Indexing. This method will compare the image to be searched (query image) with the database image (image stored in the database) to produce color features that will be used as feature vectors for query images and database images. The Color Histogram Peaks Indexing method is a new method designed to overcome the problem of scaling changes in image search. Based on the test results, it is known that the conversion process from HSV image to RGB image requires a long calculation process because it has to do repetition for each pixel, the scale difference of an image will not greatly affect the location of the peak on the HSV Histogram image and image retrieval algorithm can be used to perform Image search process based on the color characteristics of the image.

Abstract

AbstractThe facial expression detection system is a topic that is continually being researched because it is a very popular study nowadays. Researchers have made many efforts to create face and expression detection systems with complex algorithms, so that it takes a long time to do a long computation. This face and expression detection system will be created using the ADALINE network approach, the Widrowhoff algorithm with two criteria of expression, happy and unhappy on 100  face samples. In this study, there were two processes carried out, namely the training process and expression system testing. at the training stage, the process will provide a system input in the form of a face video image, after which the process of calculating the distance and final weight is then carried out and then the values are stored into memory. After the system recognizes several video images that contain expressions, the system will test, where the input is in the form of video images that are real time and will obtain neuron values with a minimum distance. From this testing process the performance of the algorithm will be measured using the true detection parameter. The results of the research showed that the expression detection system using the widrowhoff algorithm has a true detection of 85%, so this algorithm is categorized as effective in detecting expressions contained in the face.. Keywords :  Digital Image, Image Processing,  Facial Expression Detection, Adaline AbstrakSistem pendeteksian ekspresi wajah merupakan topik  yang terus menerus diteliti karena merupakan penelitian yang sangat popular saat ini. Para peneliti telah banyak melakukan usaha-usaha untuk membuat sistem pendeteksian wajah dan ekspresi dengan algoritma yang kompleks, sehingga memerlukan waktu yang lama untuk melakukan komputasi yang panjang. Sistem pendeteksian wajah  dan ekspresi ini akan dibuat dengan menggunakan pendekatan jaringan ADALINE yakni algorita Widrowhoff dengan dua kriteria ekpresi yaitu happy dan unhappy pada 100 sampel wajah. Dalam penelitian ini  ada dua proses yang dilakukan, yaitu  proses pelatihan dan pengujian sistem ekspresi. pada tahap pelatihan, proses akan memberikan inputan sistem berupa citra video wajah, setelah itu dilakukan proses perhitungan jarak dan bobot akhir yang kemudian nilai-nilai tersebut disimpan kedalam memori. Setelah sistem mengenal beberapa citra video yang mengadung ekspresi,  sistem akan melakukan pengujian, dimana inputannya berupa citra video yang bersifat real time dan akan memperoleh nilai neuron dengan jarak yang minimum.  Dari proses pengujian inilah unjuk kerja algoritma akan diukur menggunakan parameter true detection. Dari hasil penelitian ynag dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa sistem pendeteksian ekspresi menggunakan  algoritma widrowhoff  memiliki true detection  85% , sehingga algoritma ini dikatagorikan efektif dalam mendeteksi ekspresi yang terkandung dalam wajah..Keywords : Citra Digital,  Pengolahan citra, Deteksi  Ekspresi  Wajah,  Adaline

Abstract

Abstract

Saat ini komputer telah banyak digunakan dalam dunia medis untuk membantu diagnosis suatu penyakit. Penyakit yang paling penting dan sering ditemukan adalah kolestrol. Pencegahan penyakit lebih baik dari pada pengobatannya. Oleh karena itu, pencegahan penyakit kolestrol ini diawali dengan pendiagnosaan dini. Salah satu teknik dalam mendiagnosis penyakit kolestrol ini adalah sistem pakar. Maka dari itu penelitian ini bertujuan menyusun sebuah sistem pakar yang digunakan untuk diagnosa awal penyakit kolestrol berdasarkan gejala yang dirasakan. Sistem akan menampilkan Besarnya kepercayaan gejala tersebut terhadap kemungkinan penyakit yang diderita pengguna. Besarnya nilai kepercayaan tersebut merupakan hasil perhitungan dengan menggunakan metode Certainty Factor(CF). Representasi pengetahuan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah production rule. Metode inferensi yang digunakan untuk mendapatkan konklusi yaitu penalaran maju (forward chaining). Kata Kunci: Aplikasi, Penyakit, Diagnosis, Certainty Factor (CF).

Abstract

Expert system is a system that uses human knowledge, where the knowledge is put into a computer and then used to solve problems that usually require expertise or human expertise. The expert system can function as a consultant who gives advice to users as well as advice for experts. One way to make it easier for parents of children aged 17-17 years to find out the level of addiction experienced by children is to build a web-based expert system to diagnose the level of gatget addiction in children aged 3-17 years web-based. The certainty factor method is a method for determining certainty. The purpose of this study is to build a web-based expert system to diagnose the level of gadget addiction in children aged 3-17 years, to simplify diagnosing the level of addiction experienced by children. The results of the gadget addiction diagnosis level produced by the expert system are the same as the results of the manual calculation using the certainty factor method. So it can be concluded that the web-based expert system that has been built can be used to diagnose the level of gadget addiction in children aged 3-17 years.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada kontribusi tingkat pemahaman konsep operasi hitung terhadap operasi himpunan pada siswa SMA Negeri 1 Hamparan Perak Tahun Pembelajaran 2015/2016. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa SMA Negeri 1 Hamparan Perak Tahun Pembelajaran 2015/2016 yang terdiri dari 557 orang. Dan sebagai sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 41 orang. Teknik analisa data yang digunakan adalah dengan menggunakan statistik non prametrik “uji tanda”. Hasil analisa data memperlihatkan bahwa thitung  < htabel  atau 1 < 17, ini berarti bahwa ada kontribusi yang positif antara penguasaan operasi hitung terhadap operasi himpunan siswa SMA Negeri 1 Hamparan Perak. Dari hasil ini diharapkan guru-guru pelajaran matematika umumnya dan guru metematika yang mengajar di setiap kelas agar supaya lebih meningkatkan pembelajaran operasi hitug kepada  siswa agar pembelajaran operasi himpunan lebih dimengerti oleh siswa.

Abstract

The determination of the thesis supervisor is very important to note for maximizing the results of the thesis. In the process of completing the thesis, students are usually assisted by a supervisor to direct the completion of the thesis. In determining the supervising lecturer, it must be very concerned, especially according to the field. The determination of the supervisor is determined by the Head of the Study Program, the work must be considered so that it takes time to adjust the thesis title and the expertise of the lecturer. The system that is needed is the Decision Support System for Determining Thesis Supervisors. Making this system starts from observing and searching data, analyzing data to determine aspects and criteria, then design the application flow, database design, design the user interface and then build the system with Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 and MySQL applications for its database. The final result of this research is to produce a decision support system to determine the thesis supervisor by applying the profile matching method.

Abstract

Abstrak Menjadi siswa berprestasi adalah impian setiap siswa di sekolah. Prestasi yang di dapat tentu didasarkan dengan suatu kemampuan terhadap pengetahuan yang dimiliki oleh masing-masing siswa. Kriteria yang ditetapkan dalam kasus ini adalah kedisiplinan, tes akademik, tes kejuruan, dan IQ. Dari empat kriteria tersebut akan menentukan siapa siswa berprestasi pada setiap tahun ajar. Sistem pendukung keputusan (SPK) merupakan suatu sistem yang interaktif, membantu pengambilan keputusan melalui penggunaaan data dan model-model keputusan untuk memecahkan masalah yang sifatnya semi terstruktur maupun yang tidak terstruktur. Perancanga dimulai dari diagram usecase, diagram activity, dan diagram sequence. Pembuatan aplikasi dalam hal ini menggunakan bahasa pemrograman Visual Basic 6.0 dan menggunakan metode Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). Metode AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Proces) sesuai untuk diaplikasikan dengan menentukan nilai bobot dari semua kriteria setiap siswa sehingga pihak sekolah dapat mengambil keputusan menentukan siswa berprestasi tersebut. Kata Kunci: SPK, Prestasi Siswa, AHP, Visual Basic 6.0.
