Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of government ownership, KAP size, and board age on disclosure of internal control. Company size is used as a control variable in this study. The object of this research is manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016 - 2017. This study used a sample of 226 companies using the purposive sampling method. The statistical technique used in this study is multiple linear regression. The results showed that government ownership had a positive and significant effect on disclosure of internal control, while board age had a negative and significant effect on disclosure on internal control. This study did not find any significant effect from KAP size on disclosure of internal control

Abstract

This study aims to analyze in detail the characteristics of the owner, the characteristics of the UMKM towards the transformation and success of the UMKM Guitar business in Ngrombo, Baki, Sukoharjo. Examine the transformation of the sustainability of the guitar business in the village of Ngrombo, Baki, Sukoharjo. The study discusses the success of the UMKM Guitar by looking at the supporting factors of the characteristics of the owner and the characteristics of the business with the supporting factors by doing transformations.The method in this research uses descriptive quantitative design. While the entire population of guitar SMEs in the Ngrombo, Baki, Sukoharjo. Samples used by guitar SMEs that have been operating for more than 5 years, amounting to 39 entrepreneurs who subsequently as research respondents. Data collection techniques by distributing questionnaires to 39 guitar entrepreneurs in accordance with the description of the respondent. The results of the questionnaire were then processed with PLSThe results showed the Characteristics of Owners influence positively and significantly on the Transformations carried out by business actors. The transformation in question is the willingness to change and advance the success of its business and ultimately its sustainability. The characteristics of SMEs do not significantly influence this transformation because they are based on experience in running their businesses. This research resulted in Business Transformation, Owner Characteristics and Characteristics of SMEs influencing business sustainability.

Abstract

Turnover effects on companies that tend to lead to losses as well as the results of inconclusive studies on variables that explain turnoverintention. However, studies that compare turnover intention between male and female employees on the model developed were still very limited. These empirical and theoretical findings direct this study to conduct comparative studies on male and female employees. The study was conducted on male and female employees in various industries. Interviews using questionnaires are data collection techniques used in this study. The acquisition of the data is used to test the model, the influence among variables and comparative studies using AMOS as the statistical approach. The results of the study show that turnover intention in women is higher than that of men. The high turnover intention in women is caused by the decrease in organizational commitment due to the increase in job stress.

Abstract

The SME (small medium enterprise) sector has a sufficient role, the quality of service is now an important priority for businessman  in understanding the needs and desires their customers. Comparison of quality can be seen from the difference between the assessment of business management with the assessment of customers, then the concept of six sigma  are DMAIC (define, measure, analyze, improve and control) is the structured methodology used to reduce the level of error in providing services to customers. There are a number of problems faced by dewan kerajinan nasional daerah (dekranasda) SME’s: business management is still very simple, the average human resource has a low level of education, does not have a good ability to market the products produced, financial limitations, limited access to raw materials and limited technology. The analysis results obtained that there are 5 complaints that most complained by consumers are less strategic location, lack of attention to individual customers, brochures and service facilities are inadequate, service is still long and the lack of waiting room facilities. the planned improvement that will be carried out is to improve services by using technology facilities, improve the quality of customer waiting room services, structuring the availability of brochures and information.

Abstract

Work engagement affects several aspects of the company. Work engagement is the latest issue in managing human resources (HR). Work engagement is the latest issue in managing human resources (HR). Work engagement is defined as a positive and satisfying mental state related to work characterized by vigor, dedication, and absorption.One maximal work attitude in contributing as a predictor of institutional performance is engagement. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of job resources on work engagement through burnout as an intervening variable. The sample of this study was 100 respondents. Sampling using snowball sampling is a sampling technique that first starts with a small amount and then enlarges. Data analysis using multiple linear regression models, simple linear regression models and sobel tests. The results of hypothesis testing job resources positive affect the work engagement, burnout negative affect the work engagement, job resources negative effect on burnout, job resources affect the work engagement through burnout.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of leverage, return on equity (ROE), and firm size on firm value with dividend policy as an intervening variable.Data analysis methods to test hypotheses using Path Analysis Methods. The population in this study were all manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2012-2017. The samples in this study were determined by purposive sampling, so that the number of companies obtained was 44 companies with 264 samples.The results show that leverage has a negative and significant effect on dividend policy. Return on equity (ROE) has no significant effect on dividend policy. Firm size has a positive and significant effect on dividend policy. Dividend policy, return on equity (ROE), and firm size have a positive and significant effect on firm value. Leverage does not have a significant effect on firm value. Dividend policy cannot mediate the effect of leverage, return on equity (ROE) and firm size on firm value

Abstract

The purpose of this study to analyze the influence of work motivation, job satisfaction on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) and organizational commitment as implemented in vocational teachers mediasi.Penelitian Gayamsari District Semarang with a sample of 160 teacher.Teknik analysis technique used is Structural Equation Model (SEM) with software AMOS Ver 22.Hasil this study indicate that the causal relationships between variables significantly.The results of this study explains that variabel motivation and commitment is an important factor for improving the quality of learning, because as mental stimulation which is owned by a person in doing voluntary work as guru. But attitude as a form of job satisfaction should be encouraged in the interests of the organization. All of these will be able to bring more students to study in earnest

Abstract

The reformation of the Government of the Republic of Indonesia system, which was marked by the change from centralized to decentralized system, had an impact on the trend of regional expansion. But, from the end of 2014 the government implemented a moratorium on the formation of new autonomous regions with the reason to focus on resolving the problem of the size of the budget deficit before lifting the moratorium. The purpose of this study is to analyze the driving factors of the formation of new autonomous regions in Indonesia during the reformation era and its impact on state finance. This study is a policy study by collecting data and then analyzing it into a conclusion and recommendation. This type of study is a literature study with the method used is descriptive qualitative method. The results of the study show that since the reform era, the formation of a new autonomous region has been very massive. If calculated on average from 1999 to 2014, each year the new regions increase by 13 regions per year. The formation of the new autonomous regions requires considerable preparation and costs, starting from the initial formation to the implementation. In addition, in general the new autonomous regions show higher fiscal dependencies than the old regions. Thus, it can be stated that the establishment of the new autonomous regions has caused pressure on the state finances due to the large amount of funds that must be transferred to new regions

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the difference of effectivity of social media as a space to knowledge sharing between X, milenial and Z Generation. Sample used in this research is 60 respondents, which is from 20 X generation, 20 Milenial Generation and 20 Z generation in Semarang. This research  is using Kruskal Wallis method analysis with significany level 0,05.  The results showed that there is significant differences between X, Milenial, and Z generation to using social media as knowledge sharing media

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to investigate the impact of management innovation and adoption of digital marketing strategies in relation to competitive advantage and performance. The object of this study is the IKM Troso Weaving Troso of Jepara Regency with an observation unit of 169 respondents consisting of managers and heads of marketing. Data were analyzed with structural equation model (SEM) to test the research hypothesis. The analysis revealed that the innovation strategy and adoption of digital marketing significantly increased the competence and performance of the company. The implication of this finding is that companies need to pay attention to the values of corporate culture such as determining the direction of business development, increasing productivity and creativity, developing the quality of goods and services and motivating employees to achieve the highest achievements. While managerial implications related to organizational readiness include making a budget for information technology updates on a regular basis, making it easier for employees to make improvements to marketing information technology
