Abstract

The decline in performance has become a serious problem for many companies; due to the low level of performance is a measure that can be used as an indication of a fundamental problem in the company. This has led to increasingly fierce competition between companies. Leadership is an important aspect that can affect the performance of employees with employee discipline as an intervening variable. The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of leadership on the performance of employees with employee discipline as an intervening variable. Samples from this study are as many as 132 people out of a population of 132 employees. The sampling method using Census Sampling. Analysis of data using Simple Linear Regression, Multiple Linear Regression Models and Sobel Test. The results showed leadership and discipline positive impact and significant on employee performance, leadership positive effect and significant on employee discipline and leadership positive effect and significant on employee performance through employee discipline.

Abstract

This study aims to find out and explain: the influence of Islamic ethical identity and market share on sharia banking financial performance registered with the Indonesian financial services authority in 2014-2017. The population in this study is a sharia public bank registered in the Financial Services Authority 2014-2017. The sample of this study was 11 sharia public banks sent at the Financial Services Authority 2014-2017 which were taken using purposive sampling. Analysis of the data used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of hypothesis testing that prove ethical ethical identity are not significantly related to financial performance seen from the return of assets so that these results are not in accordance with the hypothesis proposed in this research. The results of hypothesis testing show a positive and significant statistical market share of financial performance seen from the return of assets so that these results are in accordance with the hypothesis proposed in this research.

Abstract

Sharia-based banking in carrying out its activities must be based on Islamic principles and teachings. A special framework is needed in social responsibility reporting so that it is in line with Islamic principles called Islamic social reporting. The development of social responsibility disclosures conducted by Islamic banks using the ISR index in Indonesia is still slow compared to Islamic countries in the world. The development of social responsibility disclosure reported by Islamic banks using the ISR index in Indonesia is still slow compared to Islamic countries in the world. The objective of this research is to determine the effect of Islamic governance score, company size, profitability, liquidity and leverage on Islamic social reporting. The sample used is a sharia commercial bank registered with the Financial Services Authority (OJK) 2016-2018. The analytical method used is multiple regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that Islamic governance score, firm size, profitability and liquidity have a significant positive effect on Islamic social reporting while leverage has a significant negative effect on Islamic Social Reporting.

Abstract

The Policy for the Implementation of Restrictions on Community Activities at the Salatiga City level greatly affects the company's activities in Salatiga City. In this case, it is necessary to have transformational leaders and employee readiness to make changes so that the organization commits to adapt to the current new normal era. The purpose of this study is to examine how transformational leadership affects organizational commitment with readiness to change as mediation for company employees in Salatiga City. Sampling in this research uses the calculation with the Slovin formula with a sample of 100 employees. Sampling using snowball sampling. There are 3 measuring tools for data analysis in testing the hypothesis: Simple Regression Analysis, Multiple Regression Analysis, and Sobel Test through Classical Assumption Test and Model Goodness Test. The resulting analysis model is declared good. The results of hypothesis testing are transformational leadership has a positive effect on readiness to change, readiness to change has a positive effect on organizational commitment, and transformational leadership affects organizational commitment through readiness to change.

Abstract

Peran sumber daya manusia disini menjadi lebih penting saat ini karena kontribusi dari sumber daya manusia diharapkan oleh organisasi atau perusahaan yang sebagian besar telah menghadapi persaingan yang ketat dalam kegiatan mereka.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh pelatihan karyawan, kepuasan kerja, dan komitmen organisasi terhadap kinerja karyawan. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 104 orang responden. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer dengan cara mengirimkan kuesioner kepada responden di SMK Negeri 1 Bawen tipe penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksplanatori pemilihan sampel menggunakan sampel jenuh. Alat analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah alat analisis scale dan regresi linier berganda, uji t , uji F, dan Koefisien Determinasi. Secara parsial Pelatihan karyawan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kinerja karyawan sedangkan Kepuasan Kerja dan Komitmen Organisasi tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan pada SMK Negeri 1 Bawen. Secara simultan Pelatihan Karyawan, Kepuasan Kerja, dan Komitmen berpengaruh signifikan terhadap SMK Negeri 1 Bawen. Penelitian berikutnya perlu menggunakan variabel – variabel lainnya seperti pengembangan karir, lingkungan kerja, dan loyalitas karyawan yang lebih berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan.

Abstract

Along with the increasing demand for access to data and information, the shares of telecommunication issuers are projected to become one of the resilience sectors. This study analyzes the sell signals and buy signals of the telecommunications shares listed on the IDX for the period 2019 to September 2021. The population is 18 issuers and the sample is 12 issuers selected using purposive sampling technique. This study uses a descriptive quantitative approach, in the form of analyzing, describing and summarizing phenomena from the data obtained through historical data observations. The aim is to describe in full and in depth the phenomenon under study. The results showed that 4 issuers gave a buy signal and 5 issuers showed that they had not yet shown a definite signal (recommended to hold), while 3 issuers seemed overbought and showed a sell signal. These results indicate that telecommunication stocks tend to be in demand and have good prospects. However, the RSI indicator is most reliable when adjusted for the long-term trend of stock price movements. This makes investors need to be careful to review further whether the signal shown is just a false signal or is a buy-sell signal.

Abstract

The Indonesian economy will face a world economic crisis. It is predicted that there will be a wave of mass layoffs when facing the global recession in 2023. In addition, today's world has changed rapidly and has entered a new environment. The purpose of this study is to examine how transformational leadership influences work engagement with meaning in work as mediation among Company employees in Salatiga City. The important thing about this research is that it can expedite the company's activities in dealing with economic recession, environmental changes and post-pandemic Covid 19. This scientific study was conducted on the workforce working in the City of Salatiga based on the Central Bureau of Statistics for the City of Salatiga, totalling 103,979 people. Due to limitations, this study's sampling was carried out using calculations with the Slovin formula with a sample size of 100 employees. The sampling method uses a probabilistic sampling method, which equals the probability that each element (member) of the population will be selected as a member of the sample. Sampling using simple random sampling, namely the collection of sample members and the population, is done randomly without regard to the layers in the population. The data analysis technique to answer the research hypothesis uses the Smart Partial Least Square (PLS) tool. The results showed that transformational leadership statistically has a positive and significant effect on work engagement, transformational leadership statistically has a positive and significant effect on meaning in work, meaning in work has a statistically positive and significant effect on work engagement, and transformational leadership has a statistically positive and significant effect on work engagement mediated by meaning in work

Abstract

The organization's talent needs for the next five years are a translation of the strategy, and a reflection of the organization's vision and mission, taking into account internal demands as well as external demands. Quality aspects included in determining talent needs include knowledge and skills obtained from experience, competence, and personality in terms of organizational culture, it is clearly stated that institutional capacity development has indicators in institutionalizing a productive and positive organizational work culture based on the noble values of the nation's culture. According to the results of research at the Regional Civil Service Agency, Semarang Regency has implemented a value system that is the basis of ethics at work. It can be in the form of politeness, hospitality, communication that shows a noble value of the nation. Thus, from participatory and democratic comes the existence of work motivation that is always growing. By strengthening the value of employee discipline, the development of institutional capacity at the Semarang Regency Regional Civil Service Agency is maximized, this is strengthened by the enactment of PP No. 53 of 2010 concerning Employee Discipline, so that supervision is stricter and punishment is more firm and severe. In the institutional capacity building program at the Regional Civil Service Agency of Semarang Regency, a budget allocation is needed to support the implementation of all organizational activities. In accordance with World Bank theory which emphasizes the attention of talent management to the focus of the organizational environment which leads to financial and budgetary support in realizing all activities and needs of the organization. This type of research is Descriptive research. The approach used is a qualitative approach and a conceptual approach. The data source used is secondary data. Data analysis was carried out in a qualitative descriptive manner. Drawing conclusions is carried out by the deductive method, which is to draw conclusions from general to specific, especially those related to the research topic, namely the development of management talent towards government institutions. Capacity building takes a long time and requires long-term commitment and all parties involved. In the development of talent management of an organization both public and private sectors, Collective Commitments are the basic capital that must be continuously developed and maintained properly. This talent management commitment is not only for power holders, but covers all components in the organization. The influence of mutual commitment is very large, because this factor is the basis of the entire design of activities and goals to be achieved together. It is expected to strengthen and strengthen the budget allocation method in accordance with the vision, mission and objectives of governance as well as the development of regional revenue sources.
