Abstract

Kemampuan Argumentasi dan Kemampuan Literasi Sains Peserta Didik Kelas XI MIPA Pada Materi Sel. Pendidikan abad 21 menuntut peserta didik untuk mengembangkan kemampuan argumentasi dan literasi sains. Untuk itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui korelasi antara kemampuan argumentasi dan literasi sains pada materi sel di kelas XI MIPA SMA Negeri 22 Kabupaten Tangerang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan November 2020 – Januari 2021. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah korelasional. Sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 38 orang dengan teknik pengambilan sampel secara purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa soal uraian kemampuan argumentasi yang mengacu pada indikator Toulmin dan soal uraian kemampuan literasi sains yang mengacu pada PISA. Hasil kemampuan argumentasi diukur menggunakan soal uraian yang terdiri dari 13 soal kemampuan argumentasi dan 16 soal kemampuan literasi sains. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu uji korelasi bivariat. Hasil penelitian disimpulkan terdapat korelasi antara kemampuan argumentasi dengan literasi sains peserta didik dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,426 dengan kategori sedang. Kata kunci: Korelasi; Kemampuan Argumentasi; Kemampuan Literasi Sains ABSTRACT Argumentation ability and science literacy in cell material in grade XI MIPA SMA Negeri 22 Tangerang Regency. 21st century education requires learners to develop the skills of argumentation and science literacy. Therefore, this study aims to find out the correlation between argumentation ability and science literacy in cell material in grade XI MIPA SMA Negeri 22 Tangerang Regency. This research was conducted in November 2020 – January 2021. The research method used is correlational. The samples used amounted to 38 people with purposive sampling techniques. The research instrument used is a description of argumentation ability that refers to the Toulmin indicator and a description of science literacy ability that refers to PISA. The results of argumentation ability are measured using a description question consisting of 13 questions of argumentation ability and 16 questions of science literacy ability. The data analysis technique used is bivariate correlation test. The results concluded that there is a correlation between the ability of argumentation and science literacy of learners with a correlation coefficient of 0.426 with a moderate category. Abstract

Efikasi diri siswa pada pembelajaran IPA ditinjau dari pembelajaran core berbasis tutor sebaya. Pembentukan karakter siswa dapat dimulai dari dalam diri siswa dengan memperkuat kepercayaan diri, keyakinan pada diri serta kemampuan intelek yang dimiliki. Kepercayaan diri atau keyakinan diri ini dikenal dengan efikasi diri. Chemers membuktikan tentang efikasi diri berkaitan dengan prestasi belajar dan adaptasi diri, maka secara tidak langsung dapat mempengaruhi prestasi siswa. Salah satu model pembelajarannya yaitu model CORE (Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting dan Extending) berbasis tutor sebaya. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui pengaruh model CORE berbasis tutor sebaya terhadap efikasi diri siswa pada pembelajaran IPA. Rancangan penelitian menggunakan quasi eksperimen. Penelitian dilakukan di SMP Ma’arif Ponorogo. Instrumen yang dipakai yaitu soal tes dan angket tentang efikasi diri. Data yang dihasilkan adalah data tentang efikasi diri siswa yang mengalamai pembelajaran IPA dengan model CORE berbasis tutor sebaya. Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan uji t dan uji t-one tailed. Berdasarkan hasil uji t diperoleh nilai t hitung 3,329 > t tabel 2,086. Selanjutnya dilakukan uji lanjut uji t one tiled dan diperoleh hasil t0 -3,313 < dari -t tabel 1,725 dan v 37,256. Maka dapat disimpulkan H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima sehingga penggunaan model CORE berbasis tutor sebaya berpengaruh terhadap efikasi diri. The formation of student character can be started from within students by strengthening self-confidence, confidence in themselves and their intellectual abilities. Self-confidence or self-confidence is known as self-efficacy. Chemers proves that self-efficacy is related to learning achievement and self-adaptation, so it can indirectly affect student achievement. One of the learning models is the CORE (Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting and Extending) model based on peer tutors. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the peer tutor-based CORE model on students' self-efficacy in learning science. The research design used quasi-experimental. The research was conducted at Ma'arif Ponorogo Junior High School. The instruments used are test questions and questionnaires about self-efficacy. The data generated is data about the self-efficacy of students who experience science learning with the CORE model based on peer tutors. Data analysis in this study used the t test and the t-one tailed test. Based on the results of the t-test, the t-count value was 3.329 > t-table 2.086. Furthermore, further tests were carried out on the one tiled t test and the results obtained were t0 -3.313 < from -t table 1.725 and v 37.256. Abstract

Keterampilan proses sains mahasiswa pada topik keanekaragaman hayati melalui implementasi Laboratorium Alam dan SPADA UNRAM. Implementasi Laboratorium Alam dan SPADA UNRAM (Universitas Mataram) terbukti dapat meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains mahasiswa pada topik Ekosistem. Fakta ini dapat menjadi landasan ilmiah untuk mengimplementasikannya pada topik lain dengan karakteristik yang sama. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan keterampilan proses sains mahasiswa pada topik keanekaragaman hayati melalui implementasi Laboratorium Alam dan SPADA UNRAM. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 28 mahasiswa kelas 5D Sore Prodi PGSD FKIP Universitas Mataram. Data keterampilan proses sains mahasiswa dikoleksi melalui quiz yang dilaksanakan di akhir pembelajaran. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes berbentuk essay. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif yang mencakup derajat penguasaan, rata-rata, dan proporsi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa derajat penguasaan mahasiswa terhadap keterampilan proses sains berada pada kategori kurang. Walaupun demikian, masih terdapat 7.14% mahasiswa dengan KPS kategori sangat baik, 21.43% kategori baik, dan 14.29% kategori cukup. Proporsi yang predominan adalah mahasiswa dengan derajat penguasaan keterampilan proses sains yang berada pada kategori kurang dan sangat kurang (57.14%). Berdasarkan hasil ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa keterampilan proses sains mahasiswa pada topik keanekaragaman hayati melalui implementasi Laboratorium Alam dan SPADA UNRAM masih rendah. The implementation of Laboratorium Alam and SPADA UNRAM has been proven to improve the science process skills of students on the topic of Ecosystems. This fact can become a scientific basis for implementing it on other topics with the same characteristics. The purpose of this study was to describe the science process skills of students on the topic of biodiversity through the implementation of the Laboratorium Alam and SPADA UNRAM. The research subjects consisted of 28 students in class 5D Sore of PGSD Study Program, FKIP University of Mataram. Data of students science process skills were collected through quizzes which were carried out at the end of the lesson. The instrument used was an essay test. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics that included mastery degrees, mean, and proportion. The results of this study indicate that the mastery degree of students science process skills is in the poor category. However, there are still 7.14% of students with excellent SPS categories, 21.43% good categories, and 14.29% sufficient categories. The predominant proportion is students with mastery degrees of science process skills who are in the low and very poor category (57.14%). Based on these results it can be concluded that the science process skills of students on the topic of biodiversity through the implementation of the Nature Laboratory and SPADA UNRAM are still low. Abstract

Pengembangan modul IPA STEM materi cahaya dan alat optik kelas VIII SMPN 2 kalianget. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan menentukan validitas bahan ajar mandiri yaitu modul IPA STEM, (2) mendapatkan respon guru dan respon siswa. Subyek menggunakan siswa kelas VIII SMPN 2 Kalianget. Penelitian ini mengacu pada penelitian dan pengembangan 4-D (four D). Data validitas menggunakan analisis Content Validity Index (CVI). Data responden dari unsur guru maupun peserta didik menggunakan analisis angket. Hasil penelitian didapatkan validitas modul IPA STEM materi cahaya serta alat optik kelas VIII dinyatakan valid ditunjukkan dari skor CVI 1,00 (validitas yang sesuai) ditinjau pada aspek materi, bahasa dan media. Hasil respon guru dan siswa berada pada kategori positif. Respon guru yaitu 100%, sedangkan respon siswa yaitu 98,48 % dengan kategori “tercapai”. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa modul IPA STEM mudah dipahami dan efektif pada kegiatan proses pembelajaran. Kata kunci: Modul, IPA, STEM, Validitas, Respon ABSTRACT Development of the STEM science module for light materials and optical instruments for class VIII SMPN 2 Kalianget. This study has the aim of determining the validity of independent teaching materials, namely the STEM Science module, (2) obtaining teacher responses and student responses. The subjects used class VIII SMPN 2 Kalianget students. This research refers to research and development of 4-D (four D). The validity data used Content Validity Index (CVI) analysis. Respondent data from the elements of teachers and students using questionnaire analysis. The results showed that the validity of the STEM science module on light material and optical instruments for class VIII was declared valid, as indicated by a CVI score of 1.00 (appropriate validity) in terms of material, language and media aspects. The results of teacher and student responses are in the positive category. The teacher's response is 100%, while the student's response is 98.48% with the "achieved" category. This shows that the STEM Science module is easy to understand and effective in learning process activities. Keywords: Module, IPA, STEM, Validity, Response

Abstract

Pengaruh model pembelajaran discovery learning dengan media e-book berbasis smartphone terhadap ketuntasan belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran discovery learning dengan media e-book berbasis smartphone terhadap ketuntasan belajar siswa pada materi pencemaran lingkungan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi experimental design. Populasi penelitian adalah semua siswa kelas VII di MTs. Zainul Hasan Balung tahun ajaran 2020/2021 dan sampel penelitian pada kelas VII B 19 siswa dan VII C 22 siswa. Pengambilan data dengan metode tes dan analisis data menggunakan uji Mann Whitney yang dioperasikan menggunakan SPSS. Data berdistribusi normal merupakan syarat mutlak sebelum melakukan analisis statistik parametrik, dikarenakan hasil dari uji normalitas menunjukkan data berdistribusi tidak normal sehingga menggunakan analisis statistik non parametrik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, pengambilan keputusan uji statistik non parametrik diperoleh nilai Asymp.Sig sebesar 0,413 maka dapat disimpulkan “hipotesis ditolak” artinya tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari model pembelajaran discovery learning dengan media e-book berbasis smartphone terhadap ketuntasan belajar siswa. Melalui penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa diperlukan berbagai upaya untuk memunculkan lagi semangat pada diri siswa, guna meningkatkan motivasi dan minat belajar siswa. Sehingga semangat siswa akan tetap konsisten baik pada masa pandemi, maupun setelah masa pandemi. Menerapkan penggunaan media pembelajaran agar pembelajaran dikelas lebih menarik dan tidak membosankan, media e-book berbasis smartphone dapat digunakan sebagai variasi media pembelajaran. This study aims to determine the effect of discovery learning learning model with smartphone based e-book media on student learning completeness on environmental pollution material. This type of research is a quasi-experimental design. The research population was all seventh grade students in MTs. Zainul Hasan Balung for the 2020/2021 academic year and the research sample was in class VII B 19 students and VII C 22 students. Data retrieval using the test method and data analysis using the Mann Whitney test which is operated using SPSS. Data with normal distribution is an absolute requirement before performing parametric statistical analysis, because the results of the normality test show that the data is not normally distributed so that non-parametric statistical analysis is used. Based on the results of the research, non-parametric statistical test decision making obtained the Asymp.Sig value of 0.413, it can be concluded "the hypothesis is rejected" meaning that there is no significant effect of the discovery learning learning model with smartphone based e-book media on student learning completeness. Through this research, it can be concluded that various efforts are needed to bring back enthusiasm in students, in order to increase students' motivation and interest in learning. So that the spirit of students will remain consistent both during the pandemic, and after the pandemic. Applying the use of learning media so that classroom learning is more interesting and not boring, smartphone based e-book media can be used as a variation of learning media. Media yang dipakai penelitian ini yaitu e-book berbasis smartphone dengan model pembelajaran problem based learning. Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh terhadap ketuntasan belajar siswa. Jenis penelitian quasi experimental design. Sampel penelitian yaitu kelas VII B 23 siswa dan kelas VII C 19 siswa dengan menggunakan metode tes dan di analisis menggunakan uji Mann Whitney. Hasil analisis data penelitian diperoleh nilai Asymp.Sig sebesar 0,151 maka “hipotesis ditolak” artinya tidak ada perbedaan ketuntasan belajar pada kelas control maupun kelas eksperimen. Oleh karena itu, penelitian selanjutnya dapat memperluas materi serta tidak hanya mengukur ketuntasan belajar tetapi juga unsur lain yang mempengaruhi. This type of research is a quasi-experimental design. The research sample is class VII B collecting 23 students and class VII C collecting 19 students using the test method and analysis using the Mann Whitney test. The results of data analysis obtained that the Asymp. Sig value of 0.151, it can be said that the "hypothesis is rejected" meaning that there is no difference in learning mastery in the control class and the experimental class. Therefore, further research can expand the material and not only measure learning mastery but also do not affect other factors. Abstract

Pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran IPA berbantuan buku petunjuk media pembelajaran IPA berbasis kontekstual pesisir. Kabupaten Sumenep lebih didominasi oleh wilayah pesisir, sehingga lingkungan pesisir tersebut akan sangat berpotensi apabila dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai media pembelajaran IPA kontekstual. Buku petunjuk media pembelajaran IPA kontekstual yang telah dikembangkan sebelumnya dapat dimanfaatkan dalam penerapan pembelajaran kontekstual. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran IPA berbantuan buku petunjuk media pembelajaran IPA berbasis kontekstual pesisir. Model penelitian yang digunakan adalah model penelitian pengembangan 4D (four D) yang terdiri dari 4 tahapan yaitu: Define (Pendefinisian), Design (Perancangan), Develope (Pengembangan), dan Disseminate (Penyebaran). Penelitian ini terbatas hanya pada tahap define, design, dan develope. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan yaitu kelayakan Kelayakan perangkat pembelajaran IPA berbantuan buku petunjuk media pembelajaran IPA berbasis kontekstual pesisir didapatkan dari validasi ahli materi 95,4% dan validasi ahli pembelajaran memperoleh rata-rata persentase 94,3% dengan kategori sangat layak sehingga perangkat pembelajaran IPA berbantuan buku petunjuk media pembelajaran IPA berbasis kontekstual pesisir dapat digunakan.. Sumenep Regency is dominated by coastal areas, so that the coastal environment has the potential if it can be used as a contextual science learning medium. The contextual science learning media manual that has been developed previously can be used in the application of contextual learning. The purpose of this research is to produce science learning tools assisted by a coastal contextual-based science instruction manual. The research model used is a 4D development research model which consists of 4 stages, namely: defining, designing, developing, and distributing. This research is limited to define, design, and develop stages. Abstract

Kajian Faktor Intrinsik dan Kemampuan Literasi Sains Siswa SMP di Kota Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan faktor penguatan intrinsik dan keberhasilan pelaksanaan literasi sains pada jenjang SMP di kota Bandar Lampung saat pemberlakuan pembelajaran daring selama Pandemi Covid-19. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 331 siswa SMP yang berasal dari kelas VIII tahun ajaran 2020/2021. Sampel dipilih melalui kombinasi teknik stratified dan cluster random sampling untuk memperoleh jumlah sampel yang representatif. Perolehan data penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrumen beruapa tes literasi sains dan kuesioner penguatan intrinsik. Representasi data selanjutnya dianalisis secara deskriptif melalui nilai presentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (i) faktor intrisik pada seluruh indikator masih di bawah 25%, (ii) indikator minat siswa dari dalam diri siswa dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran sains selama belajar daring dalam kategori tinggi (18,7%) dan (iii) siswa menyadari ketergunaan untuk melakukan belajar sains dalam kategori tinggi (20,5%) dan (iv) kemampuan literasi sains siswa berdasarkan kompetensinya masih tergolong rendah, dengan keseluruhan aspek literasi sains menunjukan nilai kurang dari 16%. ABSTRACT Study of Intrinsic Factors and Science Literacy Ability of Junior High School Students in Bandar Lampung. This study aims to describe the intrinsic reinforcement factor and the success of implementing scientific literacy at the junior high school level in Bandar Lampung during the implementation of online learning in Covid-19 pandemic. The research sample was 331 of 8th grade junior high school students in academic year 2020/2021. Samples were selected through a combination of stratified techniques and cluster random sampling to obtain a representative sample. The data was obtained through scientific literacy test and an intrinsic reinforcement questionnaire. The data analyzed descriptively through the percentage value. The results reveals the fact that: (i) the intrinsic factor in all indicators lower than 25%; (ii) the indicator of students’ interest in the implementation of science learning during online learning was in the high category (18.7%); (iii) students awareness of the usefulness of learning science in the high category (20.5%); and (iv) students’ scientific literacy ability is relatively low (the overall scientific literacy aspect less than 16%). Abstract

Pengaruh media aplikasi berbasis android terhadap literasi sains dan hasil belajar IPA siswa SMP. Dunia pendidikan terus mengalami perkembangan pesat di bidang sains dan teknologi yang dikenal sebagai era abad 21. Untuk menunjang tantangan tersebut, maka pembelajaran di sekolah perlu terintergrasi dengan keterampilan literasi sains. Salah satu caranya melalui penggunaan media aplikasi berbasis android, yang pada penelitian ini dibuat dengan memanfaatkan Microsoft Power Point dan Website 2 Apk Builder. Tujuan penelitian yaitu mengkaji pengaruh penggunaan media aplikasi berbasis android terhadap literasi dan hasil belajar IPA siswa SMP. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 64 siswa kelas VII SMP, dengan teknik Purposive Sampling Area, penggunaanya didasarkan pada kebutuhan penelitian. Adapun materi yang digunakan yaitu KD. 3.6 organisasi kehidupan kelas VII yang dilaksanakan pada tanggal 3 – 24 Februari 2021. Jenis dan desain penelitian yaitu quasi eksperimen, post test only control group design. Teknik dan instrumen pengumpulan data utama yaitu menggunakan tes tulis. Teknik analisis data menggunakan SPSS Uji Normalitas Kolmogorov-Smirnov, Uji hipotesis independent sample t-test. Hasil analisis keduanya yaitu nilai Sig.(2-tailed) 0,002 < 0,05 yang dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa media aplikasi berbasis android berpengaruh signifikan terhadap literasi sains dan hasil belajar siswa. Hal tersebut menujukkan bahwa penggunaan media aplikasi yang memanfaatkan Microsoft Power Point dan Website 2 Apk Builder dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif media dalam pembeajaran IPA. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of using android-based application media on literacy and science learning outcomes for junior high school students. Total of samples is 64 students, with the Purposive Sampling Area technique, its use based on research needs. The material used was KD. 36 life organizations in class VII, which was held on 3 – 24 February 2021. The type and design of the research being quasi-experimental, post test only control group design. Hypothesis testing was the independent sample t-test, with the results of the second analysis, namely the value of Sig. (2-tailed) 0.002 < 0.05 which can be concluded that android-based application media has a significant effect on scientific literacy and student learning outcomes. It provides education that the use of media applications were made using Microsoft PowerPoint and Website 2 Apk Builder can be used by teachers as alternative media in science learning.
