Abstract

One of the biggest problem on soybean production in Indonesia is low it's productivity (1,174 tons/ha). Indonesia is one of the biggest soybean import country from overseas 1,7 million tons in year of 2013. There are a number of factors causing low productivity of soybean in Indonesia including : (1) limited harvest areas, (2) declining soil fertility, (3) decreasing agricultural land due to other users, (4) decreasing interest of farmers in soybean due to low benefit comparing with other crops. Therefore it is important to study The use of biocompost and bioactivator in a granule formulation containing Trichoderma spp to enhance yield of soybean in tropopsament. The aim of the study was to improve the production and productivity of soybean. This experiment was conducted in the field using a factorial experiment design. As the main plots (PU) was biocompost consist of 4 levels (b0) control (No biocompost added), (b1) 5 tons/ha of biocompost, (b2) 10 tons/ha of biocompost and (b3) 15 tons/ha of biocompost and sub-plots (AP) was a bio-activator consist of (f0) without the application of bioactivator, (f1) 0,3 tons/ha of bioactivator, (f2) 0.7 tons/ha of bioactivator and (f3) 1,1 tons/ha of bioactivator. The results showed that: (1) the application biocompost 10 tons/ha resulted of 2,863 tons/ha yield of soybean and the lowest yield resulted from the control treatment 1,709 tons/ha; (2) application of bioaktiavtor of 1,1 tons/ha resulted 2,764 tons/ha soybean yield and the lowest yield was resulted from the the control without the application of bio-activator was about 1,859 tons/ha. In addition the application of biocompost increased soybean yield by 23,65% while the application of bioactivator increased yield by 23,54% bio-action. In conclustion application of optimum level of both biocompost and bioactivator incresed soybean yield by more than 23%, however from farmers" benefit cost analysis, the application of bioactivator is much more beneficial for farmer than application of biocompost.

Abstract

Multilevel data are data that are nested within the other data which are in the higher level. As an example is students are nested in the classes. The student is the level-1 variable and the class is the level-2 variable. Multilevel data are not restricted only level-2 but also more than it. As an example we have taken, school is the level-3 variable, region is the level-4 variable etc. Students in one class will be different from another class, classes in one school will be dierent from another school, etc. Because of this variation then we need Hierarchical Linear Modeling (HLM) toanalyze it. This method is a complex form of OLS (Ordinary Least Square) regression. In estimating the parameters we use GLS (Generalized Least Square). In this research, we use mathematics score of Nasima junior high school student Semarang. From the analysis result which are got by using software HLM student version we can conclude that there's no signicant variation within groups or classes, then it's enough using OLS regression to analyze the factors affecting mathematics score. Hypothesis of the reason of this is the amount of unit in level-2 variables are not enough, they are only 4 units. To prove this hypothesis, we need another research.

Abstract

The four-number game starts from 4-tuple (a; b; c; d) of nonnegative numbers a, b, c, d. In this game, the next 4-tuple is (|a-b|; |b-c|; |c-d|; |d-a|) and similar rule of changes of the subsequent 4-tuples is imposed until the game reaches the zero 4-tuple (0, 0, 0, 0). The winner of this game is the one who chooses the initial 4-tuple leading to the longest game. In this paper analyzes the game length based on the following criteria imposed on the four numbers of the 4-tuple: nonnegative integers, nonnegative rationals and nonnegative reals. The results shows that everyfour-number game with nonnegative integers or rational integers has nite length. Despite of this fact, for every positive integer m, there is an initial 4-tuple based on Tribonacci sequence that leads to four-number game with length greater than m. For the game with real integers, although the game generally has nite length, there are (innite number of) initial 4-tuples that leads to innite length games.

Abstract

Ebola virus can cause death. The spread number of cases of this virus is very rapidly, especially in the Guinea of West Africa. Based on the past data, the spread number of cases of ebola virus can be predicted by the method of time series namely ARIMA method. In this study the researcher used 63 cases of ebola virus. By using ARIMA method, it was found that an appropriate model for the spread of ebola virus cases is ARIMA(0,2,3). Based on the model, the spread number of cases of ebola virus can be predictedfor the next 13 periods, with the result that the spread number of cases of ebola virus has decreased from period to period.

Abstract

Modelling the math frequently encountered in everyday life , many things that can be modeled by mathematical modeling , one of which is the modeling of the disease. One of the diseases thoth can be modeled is liver cancer. Liver cancer is very much experienced by people, also cause a variety ranging from the spread of viruses and inveksi . Thus, in the mathematical modeling of the matter is that the modeling using Lagrange method not instant but through a few steps to get the optimal control of this modeling . Thus the optimization of liver cancer can be viewed from the optimal solution by applying the method of Lagrange. From the result of applying the method lagrange can be obtained results when tumor cells T = 0, immune cells I = 0, and addition of condition M = 0, that indicate a person is said to be normal N = 1.
